Went to Thrive Cocktail Lounge & Eatery to celebrate my birthday with my neighbor Victoria and had an amazing brunch experience. There’s no street parking, so we paid $15 for 3 hours at a lot up the street. I highly recommend making reservations, especially on weekends. We went early to beat the crowd. Our waitress Mia was great very friendly and attentive. We started with waters and a few shots, then ordered several tapas-style dishes to share: Up To Dumpling, Breakfast Bao’s, Let’s Have A Toast (VG), and Takes Two To Mango*. Everything was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. For dessert, we had Can’t Go Wrong, which was the perfect way to end the meal. The drinks were good, the food was amazing, and the service was excellent. Overall, a great spot for brunch and special occasions!
We received an immediate greeting upon arrival and the service by our waitress was awesome. Attentive and helpful. The Fire Fries were crispy and fluffy on the inside. It tasted like a sushi roll made of French fries, very delicious. The Bonito flakes were cool, they sort of swayed as if they were alive bc of the heat of the fries. My friends were creeped out lol. The shrimp on the Double Play dish was perfectly seasoned and crunchy; the Big Shrimpin’ roll with the tempura flakes + spicy mayo was *chefs kiss* The dumplings were so good, short rib inside was tender and juicy. I definitely would return!
This was our first time visiting Thrive. We came for happy hour. The mezcal margarita was excellent. I had two. We also tried several bites. We ordered the Sprout Chaser (not on the HH menu but so delicious and worth it), drunken belly (I’ve had much better pork belly but it was tasty), and mochi wangs. My fav of those were the mochi wangs. By the way, they have Saratoga water as their still bottled option but don’t charge a ridiculous amount for it. It’s definitely worth a stop in.
My boyfriend and I went to Thrive on a Saturday for brunch and WOW. I wasn’t expecting what we got. The vibe here is 10/10, the music was great (hip hop and r&b from early 2000’s), the entire place was just pretty and definitely a place I would visit often if I lived in Orlando. I got the steak and eggs with sweet potato tots and it was absolutely amazing, the steak was cooked to perfection, the eggs were nice and fluffy and the tots had the perfect crisp. I did have the Juicy J which was pretty good and since they didn’t offer bottomless mimosas we just got a bottle of champagne and juices were brought over. Our server Mia was fantastic and never let too much time go by before checking on us which was great. If you’re thinking about coming here, do it!! I don’t have a single complaint.
Love a trendy tapas restaurant! What an eclectic menu, full of MANY flavor profiles, everyone’s favorite cravings - upscale sliders screaming MAJOR flavors (foodie’s dream), sushi, bao buns - you can get a little bit of everything here, and we did!! Definitely share with your party so everyone can get a lil bit of everything. Thrive did not disappoint, definitely MAKE a reso - it’s not a large restaurant! We walked right in and others had to wait 2 hours on a Sunday evening.
We drive from St Cloud, deal with 408/I4/417 traffic then find parking which most likely is in a pay for parking garage just to come and eat and have some drinks here. Service always good to us, music and vibe is chill, food always in point plus the drinks. From the Shrimps, to short rib dumplings, truffle bag boys, cucumber beet salad, shrooms, pork belly, sprout chaser. The rolls are ok, nothing too wow ! But over all this is a great food and drink spot with cool music. And if you have room try that pecan pound cake with ice cream. Take the trip, recommend for sure !
Came on a Tuesday before a Broadway Across America show and made it in time for happy hour! Great food and drink specials for happy hour! We ordered three dishes to share, each was more delicious than the last! The wangz were good but a tad sweet for my taste. The Brussels were fantastic, I think my favorite item we got. The sliders were delicious, well cooked and seasoned. The service was great, very attentive. Our server, Brendan, made great recommendations! The vibe was vibing too! We will definitely be back soon to try more of the menu!
Our Waitress Maleah was extremely knowledgeable, friendly And kind. She gave great recommendations made us feel at home and just gave us an amazing experience for our first time here. She’s definitely top class and we love the fact that thrive cares about who they bring on to be a part of the experience, not only for the customers but the staff.
This place was amazing!! Asked our server, Meleah, what she recommended and she did not disappoint! Food was delicious and her service was 10/10!! Visited from out of town, and will definitely be back!
VERY cool place, atmosphere casual and comfortable. Did not go to eat just to grab a drink. BOY are we glad we did! The most awesome Pina Coladas EVER!!! Lexi was a sweetheart and did an awesome job. We thank you! :) John & Donna
First time coming to Thrive and was instantly in an atmosphere of warm and welcoming hospitality! The food is very well made I was blown away by the Krab Mac N Cheese and the Truffle Bag Boy sliders had me wanting more even after I was full! Angelina the bartender made me a delicious banana daiquiri with the perfect balance of ingredients . 10/10 would recommend bringing friends here a lot of shareable foods and outstanding drinks ! Side note: I love beer they have this Lager called Sixth Man Lager it’s 10/10 first time having it I loved it .
Food, drinks, and service were excellent! I had the Bread Talk and it was presented beautifully and tasted amazing. Brittany was great with suggestions and was a sweetheart. Would love to come back next time I’m in town!
First time here and it was SO good! Best to make reservations if you can, but I was able to get a seat walking in on a Friday night. Brussel sprouts, fried tofu, shrimp tempura--NO NOTES, ALL AMAZING! I gotta come back to try the desserts, I got full too fast. Quick and very friendly service too! Nice ambiance and good music! Parking is probably best in the garage by the movies.
Went to Thrive to for brunch on a Monday with two friends, and I enjoyed my overall experience here. They do have a weekday brunch menu. I enjoyed the different cocktails including “Put a Ring on It”. I tried so may different dishes during their happy hour. I especially enjoyed their “Drunken Belly” and “Mochi Wangz” as appetizers. In addition, I want to give props to Chef Miranda for the sushi rolls you made. They were very delicious. I recommend this to everyone who is in the area.
Discover this place from a really cool coworker. Every time I come down from Texas I always hit up this local spot now! Food and services are amazing. They offer vegetarian options as well, which is really great!
Angelina was OUTSTANDING ! Thrive is already a favorite place of mine and she made my experience even better. Her drinks were amazing and she made great customized drink suggestions. I am looking forward to my next visit! (Ask her for her Banana Daiquiri)
I am a chef and I rarely go out to dine because of the quality of food, presentation, and food service. My girlfriend took me out as a treat after researching different restaurants while in our hotel and the whole experience was just amazing when we arrive until we left! The scenery, the server Brittany was so friendly knowledgeable and inviting.....the Chef on duty!!!!!!......wow!!! Miss. Chef Yasmine prepared for us Tofu Fighters and the Cheezy does it. One of the most amazing dishes I've been apart of! Thank you for the amazing experience and smiles on both our faces and hearts!
Such a great spot! We passed by here by chance and couldn’t resist the vibe. We ate dinner and had a few cocktails, and every single thing was absolutely 10/10. Highly recommend the roasted cauliflower and sushi. Note that they do automatically add 18% on every check, so be careful before you finalize your bill!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had an amazing experience at Thrive thanks to Rue. From the moment I sat down, Rue was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional. The drinks were perfectly crafted—beautifully presented and full of flavor. You can tell Rue truly cares about making guests feel welcome and taken care of. I’ll definitely be coming back and asking for Rue again!
A great place to stop for delicious tapas and cocktails! The environment feels so fresh and clean with all the plants life while the food is amazing! There are so many diverse plates to get and the flavors and presentation are on point. You'll find something for everyone here. The cocktails are also amazing and the art in the menu is very interesting. I love coming here and can't recommend it enough!
As “middle aged” we were a bit intimated when we walked in. The music was a little loud but it was worth the amazing food and service. Everything was AMAZING. I mean care and detail. If you are lucky you will have Abby as your bartender, her smile and personality made our visit even better. We will be back!
Stopped into Thrive Cocktail Lounge & Eatery for brunch during a quick day trip to Orlando, and it was a great choice. The energy was perfect—good music playing to set the vibe but not obnoxiously loud, and the crowd was more young adults with not a kid in sight, which made for a really enjoyable, relaxed atmosphere. The drink menu here is solid. I had both an espresso martini and a margarita, and both were delicious with generous pours—definitely not the kind of place that skimps on the good stuff. For food, I went with a mix of sushi and a brunch dish, and it was a mostly great experience: • Up to Dumpling (Steamed Short Rib Gyoza, Ginger, Garlic, Cabbage, Ponzu, Microgreens) – Wow, this was fantastic. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the short rib was incredibly tender. • Your Highness (Tempura Shrimp, Kani, Cream Cheese, Tempura Flakes, Seared Rare Top Sirloin, Truffle Mushrooms) – Another hit. Unique, well-balanced flavors with just the right mix of textures. • King of the Castle (Top Sirloin, Pair of Fried Eggs, Hollandaise, Sweet Potato Hash) – This was the only letdown of the meal. It was a bit bland, and I found myself wishing I had just ordered another sushi roll instead. Overall, Thrive is a fantastic spot for brunch if you’re looking for great drinks, great sushi, and a lively but comfortable atmosphere. Definitely somewhere I’d come back to when in Orlando!
We stopped in for a drink and a bite. The wings were spicy and delicious. We also had the sliders and they were so good as well. Loved the ambiance. Cute place and can't wait to go back and try more things.
brittany was amazing!! we came in for my sister’s birthday and she brought out a sparkler and a shot & made everything feel so special. she also was so patient and brought out multiple dressing options for a picky eater at our table 🫣. overall she did a great job bringing everything out so quickly and making sure we had a great experience!
Love this place! Went here before an event at the Kia Center, and it was a real winner! The cocktails were on point and really good! The food was uniquely prepared and really scrumptious, and the service was great! The only complaint I had is that the booth where we sat had a table that was too tall for the height of the booth seats, but it was okay. Not a big deal…
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely incredible experience at Thrive in Downtown Orlando Thrive is hands down one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in downtown Orlando. From the first bite to the last, everything was phenomenal. We ordered the High Steaks, Just Squiddin, Drunken Belly, and the Fire Fries and WOW. Every single dish was packed with flavor, cooked perfectly, and beautifully presented. But let me talk about the steak for a second… The steak was something else. Perfectly cooked, insanely tender, and bursting with flavor. One of those dishes you keep thinking about after you leave. The Just Squiddin was fresh and delicious, the Drunken Belly was rich and unforgettable, and the Fire Fries had the perfect kick, crispy, bold, and addictive. If you’re looking for a place that delivers top-tier food, bold flavors, and an unforgettable meal, Thrive is it. We’ll absolutely be back, this place is a must. 🔥👏🍽️
The atmosphere is very nice. Lots of live plants. The menu had great selections. The portions on the small plates were generous and the sliders were a good size. The cocktails are yummy. It’s close to the Dr Philips Performing Arts Center making it a great place for dinner before the show. I highly recommend this place.
Came to Thrive just to eat for an early Valentine’s Day dinner with my husband. Food was impeccable as always (I crave their tuna crispy tuna rice-it’s a MUST get). And our server Brittany was amazing! Highly recommend for dinner!!
Brittany was absolutely amazing! She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Her positive attitude and excellent service truly made our experience even better. We’ll definitely be back because of her! 🌟. Brittany you da goat!!!!!!
Johnathan was an INCREDIBLE server for my 21st birthday night. He was very attentive to the table, offered great recommendations to the menu items, and has a very bubbly friendly personality. He gave me a pink butterfly pin for my birthday and it couldn’t have matched me better!! All around 100/10!!!!!!!
We went on a Saturday for brunch The food was excellent. We had the avocado toast, dumplings, cucumber salad, and spicy chicken sandwich. The cocktails were good. Definitely recommend the citrus drink. Fun atmosphere with fun music. Music was loud but that’s the vibe there. Had college football on. Service was great. Nina was our server and she was on top of everything and friendly.
As soon as you enter between the music & the atmosphere, the energy is phenomenal! Although, I highly recommend arranging reservations prior to visiting… Seating at the bar is available for those unreserved. The music was everything!!! Shoutout to the DJ! A whole vibe. The sushi & sake was delicious even though there wasn’t a wide variety of sake flavors. Food was served fresh & in a timely manner! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE “Your Highness” roll.
SO good! Our first time here and it was totally worth the trip out. The food was fantastic and our server, Jelianie was spot on with all her recommendations. We were in luck with the music as well, it was an early 2000's playlist, and I was living my best life between bites! Definitely recommend and DEFINITELY will be back.
I was there for a date night before seeing a show at Dr. Phillips. Isabella was our server. She was awesome and attentive. There was an error with an item ordered but the manager came and apologized and discounted the item. Excellent customer service and the environment is so welcoming and inclusive. The food was spot on. We had sliders, burratta, and cucumber dish. Everything was delicious.
This is by far my favorite restaurant in Orlando. I come here at least once a week. The service is outstanding and I always feel welcomed. The sushi is so fresh and all the food is phenomenal. If you’re ever in Orlando this is the place to go.
This was an incredible experience. I am surprised more people weren’t there when we went for brunch. The vibes were great. Service phenomenal. Food spectacular. Everything was made to order and brought out as soon as it was ready. The seating was comfortable. Drinks a bit pricey but looked good. I highly recommend for brunch. I’m sure lunch and dinner are phenomenal as well judging from the sushi dishes and drinks I saw.
Shrimp & Grits is the only breakfast food I eat and this was by far the best best I’ve ever had! Very flavorful in every bite, rich, creamy and seasoned! The espresso martini ugh 10/10! Writing this review mid meal! Service has been amazing, we had Abby as our service she was very attentive, informative, caring, and served great vibes! Will definitely be back again next time I’m in Florida I
Johnathan made our first time here so enjoyable!! We planned a trip back before we had even finished dining. He gave us such a comprehensive review of the expansive menu that we felt confident in our choices, and they did not disappoint. Went on a Saturday night around 8PM and somehow snagged a table for 4 without reservations. Atmosphere was grown but not stuffy. The music playlist was on point for all the r&b hits!
My friend and I had dinner here on a Saturday evening, and we enjoyed the experience. The vibe is very chill/casual. We were sat at the bar and to drink, we ordered the Juicy J cocktail. I like citrus drinks, so the Juicy J was up my alley. We shared a side of fire fries and eventually ordered another because they were so good. I also had the mochi wings and the sprout chaser. I loved the brussel sprouts! The wings were good, but the meat was a bit tough and would have preferred them to be more crispy.
We recently celebrated my surprise party. My party had 35 people! The service was great. All of my family and friends said they will come back! Grace, Abby and Brittany helped tremendously for all to be a success. The place is beautiful but the personalized decoration on the tables and the DJ was great! The food was delicious and my cake was beautiful and very tasty. I wanted to call to see if I can even order another cake in the future to take home. I will be back soon! Thank you for making my birthday an amazing celebration!
Our first time here and Mia was our waitress. She explained everything to us. She was wonderful! The food and drinks were great and the atmosphere was nice and welcoming. Kinda bummed we didn't get a booth because we made a reservation but still had a pleasant time. We'll be back again.
I eat at thrive all the time and i love it!! the food and the vibes are a 10/10 and the service is fantastic. Angelina is always such a sweetheart and puts a smile on my face every time i go in there :)
From start to finish this restaurant was excellent. Our server was Brendan, he was so detail oriented and did a great job checking if anyone had allergies, helping me create the perfect cocktail and giving us great menu recs. I got the Goated sliders with impossible meat and it was cooked perfectly, delicious! Tried several other menu items and all amazing. Dessert wise, the Oreo cheesecake was my favorite. Quick with checks as we were going to a show after. Will be back next time we are in Orlando!
This place was so good! We made a reservation for a table on a Monday night. The servers were super on point, and everything was served promptly and was delicious. Of note, we really liked the Small Dark and Handsome sliders and the blood orange sorbet they currently have (🤤). One of the servers gave us a small sample before we settled on it. We will be back!
Visiting from Jacksonville. Beautiful little restaurant/bar with comfortable but classy atmosphere. Had the sliders, one vegetarian one not. Both were fantastic. Best meatless burger I’ve tried and the traditional sliders were cooked perfectly. Server was prompt and friendly. That being said the music was a tad loud for my taste and they added an 18% gratuity (I tipped another 5% bc the server was sweet but I didn’t appreciate the auto tip… I get it though because Florida people amIright?)
There is every other server and then there is Meleah. This was more than just a meal. It was elevated and curated eating. Every suggestion was a triumph. Every bite was a journey into what dining should be. Kudos to whoever hired her. You must be able to spot greatness. If you dine at Thrive , you should dine with her.
Cool place! We came for happy hour and I got $6 sushi rolls, which was pretty fire. The fries were awesome and the sushi was great.. they were open till 12 pm, so at 1130, we hit it for happy hour. Prices are kind normal/high (high is normal now, I guess), and the atmosphere is cool and calm. Service was pretty good as well! I would come back.
I had an incredible experience at Thrive Cocktail Lounge! The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was bursting with flavor and creativity. The ambiance was modern, chic, and perfect for a fun night out. Special shoutout to Jonny, who provided outstanding service — friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. This place is a hidden gem in Downtown Orlando and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for amazing cocktails, shareable plates, and great vibes!
Such a cool spot! We went for late night drinks and snacks. The Alligator Bite was a super unique clarified cocktail (pictured). I also strongly recommend the Hoiz N The Hood sliders (also pictured). Best of all was BRENDAN, our superb waiter (I didn't even know what a "clarified cocktail" was until he explained it to us). Seriously, you couldn't ask for better service, conversation, or vibes. Get here soon!
Thrive is one of my favorite spots in Orlando!! The food is always soo good especially the crab rangoons and spicy edamame. The cocktails are also equally as amazing and really well balanced. We came in to celebrate a birthday and had the best time. Gaby was our server and was so sweet & accommodating (actually such an angel) i live in South Florida and always look forward to coming here whenever I’m visiting Orlando.
Loved every food item we had. I think we tried 5 things. Drinks were good. They had a nice Italian red wine for happy hour. Would definitely come back here next time we are in the area.
I don’t usually leave reviews on anything. But I had went here for my birthday a couple days ago…BEST EXPERIENCE!! My friend and I had Johnathan as our server. He was amazing, love his smile!! We also had another server named Jilliany (Apologies for the name misspelling) who was also great! She had told Johnathan about my birthday and I was offered a great time with sparklers and a shot!! The food was filling, I had never been to a tapa-style restaurant but this was a the best first moment! Loved it all! Thank you to Thrive!!!
It was our first time here, tried it for Valentine’s Day lunch and it was amazing. Angelina and the team really made us feel welcomed and were awesome with explaining the menu to us. We had their rangoonies and their double play, so delicious and fresh! Cocktails were also on point. Definitely coming back.
Johnathan was our server tonight and he was just fantastic. Explained the whole menu in detail, super attentive and just the most positive attitude and such a beautiful smile! Food and drinks were sooo yummy. Such a great place to celebrate my daughter’s 21st birthday!
Thrive deserves all the 5 star reviews. That’s how we found this place. Start to finish food was great. Service very friendly. Nice space. Had the dumplings, cucumber salad, Tuna Nigiri, Hamachi, Chicken Bao buns, Fireworks roll, Reese’s dessert. Cocktails amazing too
I attended a dinner at Thrive with my colleagues while in town for a conference. My expectations were pretty high from reviewing the website and menu ahead of time and Thrive did not disappoint! The staff were so accommodating after a mix up with our reservation and were able to get in our large group of 16. Once we were seated, our server Brittany took great care of our whole group. The service was so quick and best of all, the food was amazing! With our large group, we ordered many of their shareable plates which allowed for us to taste a lot of their menu. Eating at a restaurant you expect that some food may be mediocre or lackluster but that was not the case here. Everything was so yummy. I wish I lived in the area so I could return! If you are interested in a spot with a great atmosphere, amazing staff, and mouth watering food then Thrive is the perfect spot!
Can Tapas get any better ? Abby S was an excellent professional creating the most beautiful espresso martini . It’s so refreshing to go into an establishment at the end of a long day and get friendly service and delicious food. I had the cucumber salad and cheesy burrata plate…both so perfect. After I watched Abby make several espresso martinis I had to have one for dessert. Highly recommend! Exceptional service food, service and atmosphere.
I can't say enough about this place honestly. The small dark and handsome sliders were the best burgers I've ever had, 10/10. Very cute atmosphere, made for a very lovely Valentine's day dinner! The prices were also not unreasonable for the portions of food they give you!
I really loved Thrive. The atmosphere is really inviting and refreshing. The happy hour bites and drink specials are remarkable. We loved the sushi and pot belly. The espresso martini is from a mix but was really good still. The smell of cucumbers upon entering was kind of strange but it wore off when we sat down and got used to it. This one of my new favorite spots!
MeLeah was amazing and very knowledgeable about the menu. She gave us an amazing experience and made us want to come back every single time. She had great suggestions and any questions that she had we had. She was able to answer it with no problem. She truly made our experience worthwhile definitely coming back.
Loved the ambience of this restaurant. From the decor to bar set up to just overall experience, I would definitely return. I was taken on a date so can’t recall all the names of the dishes however the drink ordered 3x was the Smashing Baby, it was so refreshing & delicious. There was calamari, Mochi Wingz and Drunken Belly (the short rib was so juicy and tender, it was so tasty). Our waitress was okay, would have been a bit better had she given us better attention which happened towards the end of our service but overall, love this restaurant and the greenery.
I dined alone, and it was a great experience. I loved the fun atmosphere (live DJ) and everyone made me feel welcome. The food was so delicious I cleaned my plates lol. Brittney my server was phenomenal, so kind and attentive! Definitely recommend. Wish I took pictures.
It’s perfect. Service was amazing. Lexi and Brendan were so knowledgeable about the menu off the top of their heads and made the experience so great especially with their kindness and them being personable! The atmosphere and music??? Amazing & tje playlist!!!! & the interior design. They have adjustable lamps to the vibe of your liking. The wings, fries, rolls, etc. I deff believe they don’t have anything bad on this menu. I’m from Tristate and I’ll miss this spot!
When looking for a nice sushi/bar in Orlando my sister and I stumbled across this place. The atmosphere is amazing, cozy, quaint which is complemented by Meleah’s service. She was a pure delight :D We had the Brussels sprouts and noodles w/ short rib which was extremely tender and tasty. Shortly after we ordered the sushi sampler platter containing scallops, steak, tuna & hamachi. The scallops were amazing
This was our first time at Thrive, and Brittany was INCREDIBLE! The food was amazing, and we each tried three different cocktails, all of which were unique and flavorful. I just wish we could have tried all of them. The dumplings, the noodles, the dessert—everything was just perfect. We’ll be back for sure!
We had an amazing experience at Thrive! Angelina, our bartender, was incredibly attentive, and multiple staff members checked in on us throughout the night to make sure everything was perfect. The food was outstanding—highly recommend the pork belly. We wrapped things up with the Oreo cheesecake with ganache, which was sweet ending. The vibes and overall environment were absolutely on point. Didn’t have any cocktails because it was Sunday night but they all looked really good. Can’t wait to come back!
This was our first time here and it definitely won’t be our last! Everything was amazing! The service was fantastic, Mia was personable, informative and fun. The nigiri flight was exceptional and they torch it at the table which was so cool! The music and atmosphere is perfect for date night!
A rare find in downtown Orlando! Great food, drinks, atmosphere and absolutely stellar aervice. Kudos to our server Johnny who took the time to explain everything since it was our first visit there. It made us feel very welcome. Tapas style dining which includes a nice selection of sushi. Portions were ample and we were fortunate to be there for Happy Hour Specials in both food and cocktails. Dined here before a show at the Dr. Phillips center. I look forward to my next visit there and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to dine in downtown Orlando.
Happened upon this place. Food was tasty and unique. Really liked their take on the old fashioned. Other drinks looked tasty as well. My husband had the saturn cocktail, which was light and refreshing. The decor and menu looked matched the atmosphere. Very modern. Service was excellent as well, and staffed seemed to work together to take care of customers. The only comment is that they auto add grat of 18%. I can understand if it were a party of five, maybe, but it was just my husband and I. Not that it wasn't deserving, but I tip based on service. Sometimes it may be 18% and sometimes it may be 25%. It just depends. Our server did do an excellent job, though, and we had a great conversation with her before we left, so we'll be back for sure. I can't spell her name but she was was from Guyana so kudos to her for her service.
This place was incredible! Brittany our server was excellent and helped guide us to choose the best cocktails and menu items based on our preferences. The cocktails are all super original and delicious (we had a few rounds and got to try quite a few-none were even mediocre, they were all excellent!). Get the banana cocktail, you won’t regret it! And don’t miss the torched nigiri. Service was impeccable and we will be back our next time in Orlando.
Excelente personas 👌🏻
“Excelente lugar: ambiente acogedor, comida deliciosa y bien presentada. La atención fue rápida, amable y muy profesional. Sin duda un sitio al que vale la pena volver una y otra vez.”me encantó todooooo
Excelente comida, hay opciones vegetarianas. Los tragos están deli y la atención ok.
Super buena experiencia. Es la mejor !!
Muy buena la atencion, la comida y la musica. Vayan tranquilos.
Loved this place! Super chill vibe with really nice décor and great music that wasn’t too loud. The cocktails were amazing—creative, well-made, and you can tell the bartenders know what they’re doing. Service was friendly and quick, and it felt like the kind of spot you can either dress up for a date night or just relax with friends. Definitely one of my new go-to lounges. You MUST have a reservation for a seat at a table. If not, the bar available for walk-ins.
This place has a very cool interior and the menu has lots of shareable items that would be great for a group of friends. I tried the korean buffalo chicken bao and they were delicious, but a little tough to bite into (I'd still recommend them, though). The staff were also incredibly nice. I'd definitely be here often if I lived in the area.
Feb 2025: 4/5. Second visit. Thrive remains an above average restaurant with a trendy vibe. Of note, the Shareables are smaller servings than they were in 2023. My Shareable photos are from 2023 but these items are now served on smaller, tapas plates. This included the Drunken Belly and Up to Dumpling. The dumplings are notably smaller than in 2023. I wouldn't get them again, but let's be real...costs have risen considerably. Mochi Wangz was previously served with a drier sauce (photo), but is now served with a Korean buffalo sauce (photo)...all good, but I preferred the drier, crispy version. Sushi: Fine, but imprecise. (photo). 4/5. Service: Very fast...remarkably fast. Server was very responsive, but not like the previous visit. I recommend Thrive to friends visiting Orlando and I'll continue to do so. Nov 2023: 5/5: My most memorable meal on this trip. Brendan was our server and he was absolutely superb. I told him he knew the menu particularly well, and he said it was his second day working there! I travel often and I would make an effort to come back to here again.
The food was delicious, with great pricing. $9-$10 for garlic soy noodles (Send Noodz) and spicy tuna crispy ride (Mr. Rice Guy). There are plants all over the lounge and it feels fresh and inviting. One thing that was unique was the layout of the cocktail menu; which helps you visualize the build of each. It was so hard to decide because they all sound amazing! I enjoyed the Father Figure which was strong, flavorful, and beautiful. They play really good music too.
We enjoyed our evening at this restaurant. Abby is a fantastic server who made you feel really welcomed. Our food overall was good. The ingredients were high quality. Even though there was a miss here and there for us personally, we would definitely all go back because there were some home runs too. Get the Brussels and the pork belly and sushi for sure!!! Skip the noodles
Beware of the 18% gratuity that’s added automatically and isn’t listed anywhere until you get your bill. Great restaurant! Food is great. Drinks are good too. Their wings are heavily over priced at 21 dollars for 6 wings that are a little bit better than okay. Pizza Hut has better wings and you get better more for your money. Other than their price points with certain items, it’s a great spot.
Great cocktails, decent food for vegetarians. We had the tofu, cucumbers, and hummus. The food didn’t blow us away, but the flavors were good, and the cocktails were very well balanced. Great aperol spritz.
We went to Thrive with high expectations based on the menu, but overall the food didn’t live up to it. We tried several dishes across the menu. Send Noodz was very bland and felt like it was missing something, maybe spice or acidity. Mr. Rice Guy was the most flavorful dish we had and probably the best of the night, but it still wasn’t anything special. The French Connection sliders were extremely salty to the point that we couldn’t finish them. The Fried and Gone to Heaven sushi roll was fine but tasted overly fishy and didn’t stand out. Service was genuinely great and the staff was attentive. The interior has a lot of greenery and a trendy, slightly greasy vibe, but the restaurant also smelled strongly like a bar, similar to old dish rags at a busy dive bar, which was off-putting. Overall, we left pretty underwhelmed and probably wouldn’t go out of our way to return.
Can't speak for service or atmosphere because we just got delivery. However, the food was disappointing. Maybe we didn't get the right things. The pork belly rice bowl had a weird fishy aftertaste, and we couldn't even eat it. Send Noodz was literally noodles drenched in soy sauce, and we couldn't really taste anything else. They only give you 4 small dumplings for 10 dollars. Mr rice Guy was ok. The wings were the only decent dish. It's pricey for this kind of quality. We won't be back.
Had high hopes for this place from the hype but was truly disappointed. The service was horrible, had to ask 5 times before I got a straw for my drink. The food was mediocre for the price. I got the truffle fries which were just plain and greasy and the wings which were okay . The drinks, however, were good and the restaurant itself was nice, but I would definitely not be back off the service alone.
My husband and I decided to try this place because the menu read so well and, when we arrived, first impressions were that the restaurant was beautiful but the music was way too loud. The circular booths are a nice touch but that doesn’t make up for the continuous loud R&B/rap music. We ordered the Sauvignon Blanc and champagne and they were good but it took a long time for our server to take our drink order and brink it to us. We decided to skip the food, since the service was horrible and we felt out of place in the restaurant. We had to ask another server for the check and, when the check arrived, we saw an 18% automatic gratuity. We became angry as our server definitely did not deserve that kind of a tip and couldn’t wait to leave. We paid the bill and left and our server chased us out, claiming that we needed to pay our check. Goes to show that she wasn’t very attentive. Everything said, don’t go here if you are expecting a nice experience
While visiting this evening and sitting at the bar the bartender dropped a bottle of bitters in front of us while making a drink. The bitters fluid sprayed onto my face and clothing. It was on the face and in my ear. The bartender was very apologetic but the manager never took the time to come over and check on us. Absolutely no consideration when the bill came and now once I made it home I realized just how much of the bitter fluid there was all over my hat and clothing. I’ve tried to remove but it appears to have stained my hat. I wish management would have handled better with more consideration for the accident made by the bartender. Why does no business know how to provide customer service anymore? I wish businesses could do better - it truly feels like everyone just wants to take your money anymore.
