Willie's Pinchos is a highly recommended spot for authentic Puerto Rican food, especially the mofongo and carne frita. Customers rave about the fresh, flavorful food, generous portions, friendly service (especially Joel and Natalia), and lively Puerto Rican atmosphere.
Tip: Try the mofongo and carne frita, and don't miss the alcapurrias. Ask your server for recommendations if you're new to Puerto Rican food.
Willie's Pinchos offers a delightful culinary experience that's deeply rooted in the essence of Puerto Rican cuisine. This quaint and charming restaurant is a hidden gem, making it a great local spot for anyone seeking authentic flavors. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with staff who go above and beyond to ensure a friendly and personalized service. The highlight of my visit was the "911" - a combination platter that's a feast for the senses. It included succulent shrimp, perfectly grilled chicken, mouth-watering fried pork, and the star of the dish, mofongo, which was a true testament to the culinary skills at Willie's Pinchos. We added rice and beans, and I must say, the beans were outstanding, cooked to perfection with a flavor that complemented the rest of the dish wonderfully. We also enjoyed the Super Mega Locos Tostones, a tasty combination of flavors. We are already planning a return to this spot, eager to explore more of their delicious offerings. Highly recommended for anyone looking to indulge in authentic Puerto Rican cuisine!
Detoured here on my recent trip to Cape Canaveral and it was definitely worth it! I ordered the Carne Frita which is fried pork chunks with onions and peppers, served with mofongo, garlic bread, mayo ketchup sauce, cilantro sauce and lettuce, tomato, onion and cilantro. I really enjoyed this dish. It was so fresh and filling. The pork had a lot of fatty pieces so I ended up spitting out about a third of it. Some people like the fatty parts of the meat however, I do not. It was good but I'd try something different next time. The star of the show on this dish is definitely the mofongo. The freshness and homemade qualities are evident. I could have ate tons more of this! It was garlicy with a nice texture and not dry. I also tried the Pinchos de Camaron. The 3 pretty good sized shrimp were cooked well and had a great flavor. This too, was served with garlic bread. The cherry on top was the Piña Colada. It was made to order and just bursting with tropical flavor. It was nice, cold and refreshing. A great way to acclimate to the Florida humidity, just after landing! Service was great and food came out quickly. I haven't had a lot of Puerto Rican food but this has been my favorite so far. Thank you Willie's, I hope to return one day.
I loved the atmosphere and the food was definitely amazing. I went with my mom and we absolutely loved their pinchos, mofongo, and playero burger. Joel was an amazing server and we would definitely come back again!😁
The food was sooooo good!! We got the 10 Super Loca Papas and the Mofongo Relleno de camarones y mahi. everything came out quick and hot even with a big group. Joel was an awesome waiter! Will definitely be coming back.
This is the second time in the week that I came. It's a good place to come and the food is delicious and is a really good option to enjoy Puerto Rican gastronomy. The service is one of the best of the restaurants that I used to go. Joel serves with dedication and knows about the menu.
Our server Joel was very nice, he explained the menu to us, in detail. He also took our order correctly. Very friendly. Food was delicious, best mofongo we've had at a restaurant.
We had the steakstrami and chicken Pincho with rice and beans and both were fantastic! The sandwich was delicious and the beans were incredible. Get the tasty green sauce to add to your sandwich. Marta was a lovely server and gave us great suggestions.
Great place with fair prices and large portions. You will not be disappointed THE FOOD IS GREAT!!!!!! Plus the service is great too 👍🏻
Our server, Joel, was the greatest. Greeted us at.the door, explained items on the menu. My wife had a Cuban sandwich, and I had a pastrami sandwich. Both were large enough to take half home. Dine in. Comfortable, casual dining. We will come back when we are back in town.
Joel was fantastic. Very friendly and nice. A positive person who made us feel right at home. Thank you for the great service Joel! The food is also fantastic and the Pina colada's taste just like the ones at the Barrachina!
The food was delicious. Our server Joel was awesome! He was very attentive, polite and explained the menu thoroughly! Also, the portions were pretty large. Highly recommended!
Joel is amazing.. We love going to Willy's Pinchos.. My husband always gets the rice and beans with churrasco, alcapurrias, and pinchos de cerdo. Me I always get the churrasco con camarones, and my drink is always the best piña colada ever. 💕💕
We have been coming here for about 3 1/2 years and the food always surpasses our expectation. We had Joel as our waiter and he was great! He has been the best server we have had! Very attentive, polite and made sure we were all set. We will definitely continue to go!
This place is amazing—authentic Puerto Rican cuisine. 10/10, highly recommend. I had the chance to meet the owner, and he was such an awesome, down-to-earth person. He shared that he prepares and serves his food the way he would want to be served himself—and honestly, that’s exactly the kind of care you want from someone making your food. Make sure you get the mofongo bowl—it was incredible. The plantains were cooked to perfection, the rice was perfectly done, and even the beans were amazing (and I’m not usually a big fan of beans like that!). The mayo-ketchup sauce and salsa verde were both so flavorful and delicious. I also highly recommend the pork. We will definitely be back to sit at the Puerto Rican table.
The food was on point, Fresh and cooked properly and the representation for the plate was good , the atmosphere was calm with Puerto Rican and Caribbean music not too loud perfect for environment , the waitress was very nice and polite knowing perfectly how to treat customers ! With the food section and Customer service I was very pleasant , reasonable price as well . Things to have in consideration The restroom is unisex And because of that, I highly recommend a better lock for the door besides that the door doesn’t feel secure and it does needs adjustments And the extractor fan seems to be defected or too weak to push out all the bad odors , the old paint in the wall It does make the restroom look dirty even if it’s not , Do I like the restaurant? YES DO I EVER COME BACK? YES ANY NEGATIVE IN MY VISIT ? No Do I recommend it? TOTALLY. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Joel was a great server, very informative and attentive. We were new here and he did a great job explaining and going over the menu. The food was delicious. The mofongo was great, never had anything like that before. We definitely recommend this place.
Joel was great! Went over the menu, asked questions and checked in on us consistently. Food was phenomenal!!! Left full and ready to come back
A really fun atmosphere- think the antique vibe of a Cracker Barrel with old Coca Cola memorabilia But the food is key Joel did a great job explaining the various entrees from mofongo to tripleta to the crazy burgers and hot dogs Ended up with pork and shrimp pinchos (think bbq skewers) with mofongo Delicious. Shrimp were spot on and not overcooked or rubbery and the bbq sauce was nicely caramelized. Prices are very reasonable for the portions
Almost everything was perfect. Everyone was very nice & friendly. The Alcapurrias & Empanadas Carne were very good & savory. I would love to say that all the food was perfect, bc 3 of our 4 meals were hot & awesome, but for the Camarones with Mofongo I was not so lucky. It must be a fluke bc everyone says the Mofongo is the best and is always hot. However, mine was cold, not great, and with tough shrimp. (Pretty big bummer, especially for the price. And we drove 2 hours to try them) I didn't say anything bc they were very busy and all the other dishes were nice & hot. They are pretty pricey, but very accommodating. Good Puerto Rican fare. The Jibaritos reminded me of this great place in Chicago.
Joel was really friendly and helped us go through the menu on our first time here. The food was delicious!
We had an excellent dinner at Wille's Pinchos! I never had Puerto Rican food before. Joel, our server, took the time to explain the different types of food and meals to us, which we greatly appreciated. My son's favorite was the 911 classic pork. My favorite was 13 Mar Y Tierra with its crunchy crust. We both enjoyed the Mofongo -so yummy!! We also enjoyed the Malta soda and the Pina Colada drink. Willie's was recommended to us, and it did not disappoint! We would go back again. Excellent food and excellent service!!! Thank you, Joel!
Natalia was awesome. The food was fresh and delicious. Definitely a hidden gem. 💎 las Alcapurias a must try.. ❤️
Great costumer service!! I went there the 10/26 and the servers was super friendly!! Good music and the food ir incredible!! I had an awesome experience
I visited the establishment on a recommendation. I have been disappointed lately with recommendations in the Orlando area when I visit, so, I was a bit skeptical especially since it was kind of hidden with no big storefront signage that could be easily visible from the street. Once inside, there is posters and photos of the great Chef Guy Fieri having visited the restaurant, not once, but twice. So, that was a good sign. I went in, was immediately greeted and seated. Our server was awesome. Greeted me with a big smile and was extremely friendly. She made some recommendations and I took some and not the others (well, on my second visit I did 🙃) The food was absolutely delicious and the lemon-mango juice was to kill for. In the photo you will see a small jar but, when you order, you get a giant jar. I literally had nothing negative to say about the food because everything was good. This place seemed to have the Guy Fieri approval and it didn’t disappoint. The owner was gracious enough to come out and speak to me and just give me some background and talk about his journey and it was absolutely a remarkable visit and can’t wait to go back. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!
Food was amazing. Fresh, full of flavor and a good price of the portion size. Always a winner!!!! We had churrasco stuffed mofongo and shrimp skewer with rice and beans. Mango lemonade is super fresh and no sugar added! Steak was so tender the knife was really only decoration on the plate! Beans are vegetarian but loaded with flavor.
Did a pit stop on our travels at Willie's Pinchos, had the carne frita and shrimp with mofongo with Creole sauce. To drink we tried the parcha juice (passion fruit) and a Kola. Great flavors on everything. Also had a beef empanada and an alcapurria!
This spot was beyond amazing with their first rate service. We were on the way to the airport and in a bit of a hurry. They suggested some takeout options that could be quickly prepared and everything was so delicious. This place does not disappoint if you are a foodie and appreciate really good food. The sandwiches were huge so we shared and the mofongo is perfectly seasoned w garlic and juicy. Super grateful to have run into this spot.
Great experience! Had the super Willie, ir was delicious. It's a hot dog, burger, and grilled cheese all in one. Had a delicious meal with the cuban sandwich and mofongo. Great atmosphere. This place was featured on diners, drive-ins, and dives.
The food was amazing! We order the whole snapper with shrimps, the carne frita with rice and beans and the shrimp pinchos with tostones. The best side is definitely the rice and beans 😋
My family and I stopped in for a quick bite. This is one of our favorite places to eat in this area. Food never disappoints! The chicken pinchos with tostones was cooked perfectly. The mofongo de camarones relleno was amazing. I ask for the garlic sauce in the side as a personal preference to control sodium levels a bit. Piña colada was perfect! Joel was our server and he was awesome 🙂

4.5 Finally made a visit after bookmarking this spot a year ago. I think my expectations were a tad too high but I am definitely not complaining. Food was very good, just didn't have the flavor explosion I was expecting. Service was great and the staff were all wearing mask. The tables were spaced out. Will go back and try the other menu items next time I'm in the area.
Puerto Rican food in a small spot on Goldenrod road. The typical staples like mofongo are there with nice twists on other items. Burgers, hot dogs, and fries topped with Puerto Rican items are a great addition to the menu. The fresh juices are a nice touch on the menu as well
Definitely worth the 40 minute drive to get there..tasty trip down memory lane..beautifully presented, well seasoned, generous portions, we WILL be back!
We watch Guy Fritos show Diners Dives and Drive-ins so we had to try it. Well guess what it was worth the drive from Ocala.
Rice and beans were freaking amazing. Mango lemonade was to die for. I was not a fan of the churrasco has no flavor and the shrimp was okay. We also order the tostones loco was great
This was our first visit - another Triple D experience. The restaurant was cozy, family oriented and comfortable. I ordered the Steakstrami Jibarito, which was noted as Guy Fieri's favorite. This sandwich had great flavor, containing a blend of steak, pastrami, lettuce, tomato, and mayo ketchup. The bread was replaced with smashed plantains which was a little dry for my taste. My husband ordered Carne Frita Combo Mofongo. He liked the dish but found the Mofongo dry for his taste. He also ordered a side of fried plantains which we both found dry as well. We will definitely return to try different menu items. Our waitress was very attentive.

I've heard about Willie's Pinchos from the Spanish radio stations. What I didn't know was that it's right up the street from my cousin's apartment! My other cousin was visiting Orlando and we do our yearly routine of meeting up for dinner. We usually go to Mi Viejo San Juan which is really close by to Willie's but decided to try something different. Willie's is tucked away in a small strip mall and has that classic hick Puerto Rican exterior (I say that with love). Once we got inside, I was immediately enamored by the decor. It has a really cool Rican vibe and I loved the small touches they had all over the restaurant. We were immediately greeted and seated. We ordered the Carne frita with mofongo and the bistec encebollado with mogongo. Both meats are good although I liked the carne frita better. The steak didn't seem fresh to me. You could tell it was re-heated. The monfongo was good though and definitely fresh. It was soft and tasty. The little side salad would probably have been good if there wasn't a long dark hair in it, which pretty much ruined a good meal otherwise. Sometimes they say to stick with a good thing and not change it up. We should have probably listened in this case.
I will review this restaurant in real time. The wait was a bit long just to get a table in the middle of the afternoon, but to their credit, it's a small eat in and take out establishment on Goldenro…

Do NOT come for their sandwiches, sandwich bread was soggy, had way too much sauce and the tripleta sandwich specifically had ham sliced up like from the kind you buy at a store in a package, just sliced up, had no pork, barely any meat and very salty, it was the worst tripleta sandwich I've ever had (I am Puerto Rican so I've had my fair share of tripletas) The bistec (steak) sandwich was a joke, barely had any meat. Do not be fooled by the pics the owners most likely posted of their sandwiches. The burger was amazing though, I'd come for that only if you decide to come. Great service, which was nice, felt very welcomed. I definitely will NOT be coming back.
They close at 10 but stop service at 9 the sell you stuff but dont tell you they take 30 minutes until after sold. Chicken pinchos were dry and tasteless, they put lots of bbq sauce to hide the dryness, not Puertorican owned .

This was the worst food I've had in a long time. I got a pincho combo and both the meat and bread were hard and barely edible. The "salad" that came with it was just a bunch of stems and was also inedible. Never left so much food on a plate in my whole life. Only good thing about this meal was the guava lemonade. This experience has turned me off Puerto Rican food forever.
First time at Willie's, and I was really wanting some good pinchos. But they used chicken breast, which made them super tough and dry. I bought like 8 of them, huge mistake! And they didn't have pork pinchos in stock, only shrimp and chicken! For a place famous for pinchos, I'm seriously shocked. The price wasn't cheap either, so you'd expect good quality pinchos. Tostones were good.
