Wow, wow, and wow from moment you arrive at the front door of this magical place. Suggest you make an online reservation as we did since they were pretty busy on a Wednesday evening. Menu covers all you might want to consider, but the execution by the kitchen blew us both away. Started with a cup of the 6-onion soup special and the pork belly over biscuits. Pork belly heaven for me and those biscuits were like little pillows. Mains were the perfectly seasoned jambalaya and the fried chicken. That fried chicken was a double wow and my wife declared the collards as life changing. Our wait person Millie brought out some warm biscuits with honey butter. Oh no....make me eat more of these perfect biscuits? We will be back and highly recommend that everyone dine here. Our server Millie was personable and in Maine we would call her a keepah.

An Ormond Beach landmark for a reason, the atmosphere, food and service are absolutely wonderful. The restaurant is in a beautiful 1901 building that was initially a bed and breakfast. Portraits of Ormond Beach luminaries such as John D. Rockefeller and Henry Flagler adorn the walls. The building and furnishings are lovely. The food is Southern style, you'll find deviled eggs, grits, fried chicken and fried green tomatoes on the menu. What made me happy (and what made me go) is the separate vegan and vegetarian menu. Although small, the choices are creative and in the case of the Truffled Mushroom Vegan Risotto I had, absolutely delicious. I was very pleased, and will definitely be back to try the other vegan options offered. We really enjoyed our lunch at Rose Villa, you surely will too.

This place is the real deal in downtown. Outstanding service to start is exactly how to start a great brunch experience and they delivered. Started with the Biscuit basket and that was a green light to flavor town. Four perfect biscuits with honey butter, fruit chutney, and pimento cheese. All was very good, but I would buy a jar of the fruit chutney. I went with the shrimp and grits and was completely satisfied with my choice. It was loaded with flavor and texture with super creamy grits from the goat cheese with an added tangy taste. The wife had to go with the Signature Fried Chicken wing and breast and she was a winner winner chicken dinner. If you had a grandma from the south who made fried chicken she works here now. I’m not playing on this fried chicken, we will be back for just that. If you’re traveling from north to south Florida stop in. If you’re coming to Daytona check it out. This is a destination fried chicken. Great value with outstanding service and add some epic eats at this place. ✌️😎

Rose Villa – A Truly Memorable Experience From the moment we arrived at Rose Villa, everything was absolutely wonderful. We chose to sit in the festive and romantic gazebo on the back porch, where we were treated to live music by Rex, an incredibly talented musician. Rex is not only gifted with his guitar but also a true gentleman—warm, personable, and full of authentic wisdom. His presence made our brunch feel extra special. Our server, Sarah, deserves her own standing ovation. Hailing from Valdosta, Georgia, she embodied true Southern hospitality from start to finish. Attentive, kind, and full of charm, Sarah elevated the entire dining experience with her genuine care and warm personality. And then, of course, the food—simply amazing! The chef has crafted unique takes on classic favorites that will leave you wanting more. The deviled eggs, topped with pork belly and a sweet pepper medley, were a showstopper. My avocado toast with a perfectly poached egg was fresh and flavorful, while my wife’s crab Benedict was another absolute hit. If you’re visiting Daytona or Ormond Beach—especially if you’re with someone you love—make sure to stop by Rose Villa for Sunday brunch. Between the incredible food, the unforgettable atmosphere, Rex’s soulful music, and Sarah’s outstanding service, it’s more than just a meal—it’s an experience you’ll treasure. We will absolutely be back every time we’re in town!

Excellent private party I attended. Hospitality and Food were top notch. Live acoustic guitar/singer resonating throughout. Ambiance is outstanding, fashioned by beautiful decor.

We visited for brunch a while back, loved it, and returned for dinner now. Outside seating can be a bit loud during bike week. The inside is absolutely stunning, with turn of century dining rooms downstairs, and a 1920s speakeasy bar upstairs.

My husband and I were looking for a special place to celebrate our 26th wedding anniversary. I remembered a friend telling us about RoseVilla and we just had to go see what it was all about. Talk about Southern Hospitality wrapped up with some of the BEST southern food you could ask for! We were treated like royalty and to a dessert to celebrate with! We will definitely return! Thank you Patrick, Greg and the rest of the RoseVilla Family for making our day special!

I Love this restaurant, especially the decor and history of it! Staff is very pleasant, food is always great. Nice restaurant if you want to get dressed up for a special occasion, Birthday, Anniversary. There are so few places around like this such a treasure. So Leave your baseball caps and shorts/flip-flops home this is a place to shine up a bit and enjoy a special night out.

I love coming to Rose Villa and last night my family and I went out for a late dinner. The Shrimp and Grits were absolutely amazing. The goat cheese grits…Chefs kiss! I’m eating my leftovers for breakfast as I type this review. My dirty martini was shaken to absolute perfection. But the real show stopper was our server, Sarah. She was outstanding! Great service and great attitude the entire night… and let’s be honest we were there LATE. She went out of her way for our silly requests and delivered everything with a smile! Will definitely be back and not for just anyone. Sarah all the way!!! Thank you so much for a lovely evening with my out of state family.

The food was sooo great! Lobster Mac and cheese, Chicken pot pie and deviled eggs were bomb! Was a little put out by the parking as they had cones up into their parking lot so we couldn't park in there. We ended up parking along the street down a little ways. Will definitely go back again! Almost want to give 4 stars because of the parking, but...I won't. If you have to have reservations, there should be parking! Just saying. The parking lot wasn't being used for customers.

Lovely dinner stop. Service was great. Quick actually with fantastic specials. Shrimp and grits felt like home. Really enjoyed this so much and wish we lived closer because I would be there once a week if I were local. Such a cute place. Perfect for date night or meeting friends.

Rose Villa is one of our favorite places to go in Ormond. It continuously impresses in all areas, food is always delicious and prepared to near perfection, service is polite, and the atmosphere is really warm/cozy with a laid back elegant southern charm. One of us always gets the fried chicken, but we've also tried many other things from the menu (Sea Bass, Filet, Pork Chop, Deviled Eggs, Beet salad) and everything has been as good as it could be. To top it all is some really nice drinks including an Old Fashion with candied bacon and some deserts that are usually enough for at least 2 and are delicious.

This restaurant exceeded our expectations. The food is high quality and delicious. I'm a vegetarian so I wasn't sure if I'd have good options, but I did!!! I enjoyed the Roasted Beet Salad, Vegetable Minestrone (seasonal soup), and a side of grits! My mom is a pescatarian and enjoyed the Shrimp & Grits. Food and service were wonderful!

We had the most delicious dining experience at this restaurant! From start to finish, everything was exceptional. We kicked off happy hour with a couple of amazing cocktails, and the complimentary deviled eggs were a delightful surprise. For appetizers, we ordered the fried green tomatoes with lobster—absolutely incredible! As for entrées, I couldn’t resist the fried chicken, which was perfectly cooked, and the collards were hands down the best I’ve had in years. My partner opted for the potato hash, and it was just as memorable. Everything from the flavors to the service was a 10/10. We will definitely be back very soon. I absolutely loved it - LOVE!

What a gem! We made a quick detour for lunch while heading north to Jacksonville and chose Rose Villa because it was dog-friendly — and wow, what an incredible find! From the moment we called to confirm we could bring our pup, the experience was truly 5-star. The entire staff was so welcoming, and the chef even came out with a bowl of shredded chicken just for our dog — such a thoughtful touch! Every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious, and the deviled eggs were AMAZING! The specialty cocktails were also yummy, yummy! We sat out back in the beautiful gazebo, but I also took a moment to explore the historic building inside — what a fun place! Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area (or even slightly off course). Totally worth it!

Rose Villa is top notch! Service is impeccable, Food is fabulous, and the atmosphere is beautiful and unique. I recently hosted a business dinner here for 15 guests. We sat outside in the gazebo. It was a wonderful evening and everyone enjoyed themselves. Rose Villa goes above and beyond in all aspects. Lindsay and Alexis took wonderful care of our large party and even added some laughs. I had the Bourbon BBQ Pork Chop with goat cheese grits and a side of collard greens. It was phenomenal. The Candied Bacon Old Fashion was delicious. For appetizers we had the fried green tomatoes, deviled eggs, crab cake, and Belly and Biscuits. All were fantastic. They also have a vegetarian and vegan menu that is impressive. It is by far the best option in town for anyone with a vegetarian or vegan guest in their party. Most will just do a pasta or salad or modify an existing dish. Rose Villa’s menu is truly special and thought out for those with this dietary preference. We also shared dessert of Chocolate lava cake, Chocolate Peanut butter cake, and raspberry tart. All delicious.

A spectacular restaurant with a great atmosphere, outstanding service, and some of the best food I’ve ever had. It was a delightful experience. I felt at home ✨ I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ormond Beach; you simply cannot miss out on this beautiful restaurant. The warmth and beauty created a good memory for us.

A very historic building in Ormond that houses a marvelous meals and wraps you through time back to the good ole days. Extremely friendly staff, comfortable seating both inside and out, and an excellent menu, including a dedicated vegan/vegetarian menu. Good wine selection and a good set of cocktails and beer. Come check it out

An excellent restaurant with a wonderful ambiance. There are several different dining areas, including outdoor patio. They serve southern dishes as well as handhelds. The fried green tomatoes with lobster were delicious. Everything tasted great, and we enjoyed excellent service.

We enjoyed lunch today. The wait staff was professional and helpful. We ordered fried green tomatoes w/ lobster, shaved brussels salad and deviled eggs w/ bacon to start. Fried chicken, fish tacos, pot pie, and shrimp as mains. The kids ordered the soft centered chocolate cake and the really enjoyed it.

I have been meaning to try this for years, especially when decorated to the nines at Christmas. Well today we popped in for Saturday brunch. We didn’t have reservations but were able to choose either the front porch (on Granada) or a high top in the downstairs bar. The traffic on Granada makes the front porch less than ideal so we opted for the bar. The house is so charming inside & out! We ordered their signature fried chicken and it was delicious, not greasy but crispy outside and juicy inside and the biscuit was terrific! We will definitely be back soon for dinner

What an amazing restaurant!!! Every thing we ordered was absolutely delicious. They bring you a basket of their hot buttery biscuits with honey butter which were to die for. We had the shrimp and grits, fried chicken and waffles, jambalaya, and sea bass with risotto. Ended the meal with a decadent hot chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. Every dish was out of this world and the servings were abundant….especially the fried chicken!!! One of the best meals we ever had!!!

My family and I had a great dining experience. I had the fried green tomatoes and lobster appetizer (delicious). For entrees, my husband had the chicken pot pie and I had the shrimp and grits. For dessert we shared the peach cobbler. Everything was great! The portion size was smaller than I envisioned, but after finishing it, I was adequately satisfied with room for dessert. The service was excellent. We had our toddler with us and our server offered her digital writing pad to him to keep him occupied. Everything was wonderful!

We had an office party with 10 guests in the Roosevelt Room. It was a great experience! The service and servers were as great as the food. We loved the holiday decorations and ginger bread house motif outside. The venue is historic and charming with a "speak easy" whiskey bar featuring over 300 spirits and maybe a little extra spirit if you believe.....

This was our first visit to the area and we wanted to go somewhere nice for dinner that was known for good southern cooking. We were delighted to discover RoseVilla! We were well cared for and served exceptional food! We would highly recommend to anyone looking for great southern cooking!

Just recently went to this restaurant for a work party Happy Hour & the appetizers and cocktails were delicious. I’ve never been here but the atmosphere and restaurant is a whole vibe. Loved it! We had the upstairs speakeasy to ourselves & enjoyed fresh southern appetizers from deviled eggs, lobster Mac and Cheese and fried chicken. The bartender/waiter that was working our event was quick, personable & attentive. Will be back!

Easily the best dine out experience of the year. Warm, ambient and cozy surroundings of an old mansion, dim lights and absinthe wall art on a frigid December night. We were seated with another couple in the corner of an upstairs dining room and Rhett, our server, excelled in every possible way, even giving us a brief tour after our dinner. The scallop appetizer and the wedge salad were delicious. The filet melted in my mouth. The entire restaurant gave off an enchanting, mysterious and haunted vibe, with a secret doorway and an upstairs bar tucked away that serves absinthe. This is a place to go on a chilly night to celebrate with friends. By far one of the best dining experiences of my life.

Beautiful place with a warm ambiance. The food was out of sight as was the service. Colin was fantastic We had the Asian deviled eggs which were a special item. The flavors of the dish were amazing. Our entrees were excellent. The chicken and waffles was done to perfection. Upstairs is a beautiful quaint little bar that has a huge selection of bourbons. The lovely bartender was so knowledgeable, warm and friendly. This place is a true gem.

10 stars. There’s a reason for all the great reviews. This restaurant is a big house from a different era converted into a high end restaurant. I’m not going to blab blab lab. Pick anything on the menu and you will be extremely happy. Reasonable prices great service and a really cool place to eat. We had salads, Shrimp, Lobster Mac and cheese and blueberry martinis with a blueberry ice ball that was spiked. First time in but we will be a regular. Ormand definitely has an amazing restaurant scene going on. Highly recommended

Great food! We tried the fried chicken, collard greens, and mash potatoes (mash was great tasting). We also tried the Rose Villa Burger with a fried green tomato, goat cheese, and pepper jam, which was yummy, especially with that melty goat cheese. We also tried the deviled eggs appetizer which was also delicious. They brought out biscuits with honey butter...what's not to like! We were too full to try dessert, but the options sounded incredible. We will have to go back and try other things and save room for dessert next time.

What a gem in Ormond Beach! I opted to sit out on the front porch…you will be serenaded by big pipes on vehicles passing by. My server Quinn was awesome…he took excellent care of me and made sure I enjoyed my time here. Opted for a Wedge Salad and the Lobster Mac & Cheese…this is a solid meal! The wedge was great and hit all of the points of freshness and flavors. The Mac & Cheese…WOW. Incredibly creamy and rich but not overpowering to the flavors of the lobster. One of the best I’ve had in a very long time! This is a wonderful place and can’t wait till I visit the area again to dine here!

Fine dining and amazing atmosphere at its highest level! RV is truly an Ormond Beach gem. The only thing that rivals the fantastic food is the setting. Located in a historic home with period decorations this is very entertaining place to eat. The dining rooms are intimate and each with its own unique feel. The menus is broad and every meal at our table outstanding. The whisky bar is super cool and has a mega variety of offerings. The service was fast and professional and it’s located in a lovely part of town. It’s truly a blessing to have a business like this in our little beach town!

Had a group of 8, the place was not busy but the service was lacking. We waited about 20 minutes before we even got water, and another 20 to get drinks and to take our order. With that being said the waiter was kind and apologized, said that another waitress was supposed to take care of us but was swamped. This could have been a one off so I won’t judge based on that. The food however was phenomenal, I had the fried chicken with fries and Mac and cheese, my wife had fish tacos, others had fried shrimp, grits and greens. The chicken was seasoned to perfection, you can tell it’s brined and was very juicy! Everything was seasoned perfectly, and tasted like they use fresh ingredients. I would highly recommend.

Took us too long to try this place. My new favorite restaurant in the Daytona/Ormond Beach area. Arrive just before 3 to learn their restaurant closes from 3-4pm, so my wife and I saddled up to the bar for some cocktails before an early dinner. Molly is my new favorite bartender holding down the fort in a deliciously cute bar area. The rest of the dining areas (and upstairs speakeasy) is a delight on the eyes as well. Though this isn’t just my new favorite restaurant around because of Molly and the decor, but rather the food (of which we ordered far more items than we should) was delectable. Our served Cassandra as she kept our plates coming and coming throughout our meal. Will most certainly be back.

Food was great. I got chicken & waffles, my husband got the pork chop over grits. We chose to sit out in the gazebo which was decorated and looked nice next to the Ti plant garden with water fountain. staff was very polite and informative when we asked about surrounding buildings and where the best place for watching fireworks would be. Will go again next trip

I hate to rate Rosevilla as anything less than 5 stars but tonight I had two issues. I ordered an old fashioned with one cube, it came out on the rocks so I sent it back. I watched them strain it into another glass and asked them if they were doing that, the response was oh do you want me to make a new one ...yes, is the owner in because I know that wouldn't be acceptable. A new drink was made. The ambiance wasn't what I normally get, apparently there was a girls birthday party in the same room and lots of bj talk etc was loudly exclaimed. I'm not a prude but it was such a long conversation about penis that my daughter caught on...I know management can't necessarily control that but we had reservations so perhaps don't seats us next to two large parties of women!?

Bar, located at 43 W. Granada Blvd, Ormond Beach, FL 32174, has set a new standard for excellence. I am eager to explore every menu item, as this upscale southern restaurant and whiskey bar presents innovative interpretations of classic southern cuisine, available for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. My extensive order included multiple entrees, appetizers, specialty drinks, and desserts, all of which have consistently impressed. Noteworthy highlights include deviled eggs on southern slaw, pork belly on homemade biscuits with tree fruit chutney, and expertly cooked filet and New York strip steaks, each with distinct flavor profiles. The menu also features beloved southern staples, including collard greens, baked macaroni and cheese, classic chicken pot pie, peach cobbler, and award-winning fried chicken.

Rose Villa redeemed itself. We gave them a second chance after a very disappointing first visit for an evening out. This visit was vastly improved. Our wait staff was great. Escargot was OK, do prefer the traditional butter presentation over fried. The chicken and waffles were good, excellent waffles. The lamb was perfect. Would have enjoyed more aspartame less potatoes but they were good.

The ambiance is amazingly beautiful! Some of the staff gave a weird vibe (perhaps because we were the only minorities that I saw). Nevertheless, our server JACKSON was phenomenal!!! The food was delicious, especially the soup of the day...zucchini blue cheese. Sounds strange but it's absolutely wonderful.

Had out front decorations so cute. Gingerbread and Christmas decor. I was by there before Opening. Spoke to hostess about eating there when open. Never said get a reservation or anything but come back at noon. I did and treated not best because no reservations and only a party of one. Then thought be more decor inside for Christmas. Alot of decor was gingerbread. But yet no gingerbread items menu. I thought waiter said cinnamon corn chowder but instead was salmon corn chowder. I said oh sorry no it's salmon and left. I paid for it and didn't eat. Had fried fish and fries. It was very good. Had to request slaw that it said came with. Didn't get dessert because was hoping for gingerbread something. Anyways felt out of place since I didn't have reservations and single diner.

You would need to drive to the backside of the restaurant for complimentary valet parking. You can enter from the front or the back of the house. Fried chicken tastes juicy and skin is crunchy. Waffles does not taste good. Pork belly biscuit is tasty. Service is good. Price is more expensive.

My wife and I decided to stop in for an impromptu Italian meal. It was suggested that we had reservations because it was the end of a promotion that they had for september. We were seated at a table that had a 5:30 reservation and we assured the hostess that we will be done by then. The server was decent, never went over the daily specials unlike other servers that were taking care of other tables. We ordered our food and server brought us some awesome biscuits and honey butter that were to die for. Food arrived at the table by a food Runner and guess what food Runner had shorts, slides and a t-shirt on. Dining at the Rose Villa we thought was a little upscale but we were both taken aback when somebody shows up and slides and shorts. Kind of reminded me of eating at a tiki bar. We found out through the hostess, that was gracious enough to find out how everything was with our meal that he was the owner of the place. As you know they may dress any way they want but I thought it was very very unprofessional to show up in shorts and slides. I guess too many it makes no difference but when you want to go out and you dress up a little bit to make the dinner experience at Rose Villa a little rememberable, that blew the wind out of the sail. Nevertheless the food was awesome and my wife and I enjoyed the cocktails and the dinner. I am not sure if I am overreacting but it was just something that struck me as inappropriate for that type of dining experience

for me the most exciting part about eating at this restaurant was using the bathroom because of how beautiful this place is. everything else was kinda bad though, we waited like 30 minutes just for the server to take our order in the first place, and then over an hour and a half to even get our food. and then the food wasn’t even that good. as we were being served the food my friend noticed a hair underneath her fries. they got her order wrong too. someone would order like a drink (while we were still waiting) and then it was forgotten about until everything came out way later. service was okay, but waiting pretty much like 2 whole hours for some pretty mid kinda overpriced food sucked.

Really neat place, was super happy to find it. Very cool atmosphere, bar, the house, the history the restoration—I appreciate all of that. The drink—fantastic, and Instagram worthy. The biscuits—amazing. But everything we ordered off the menu, extremely subpar. It felt like we were duped to be honest with you. The fancy wording of the potatoes that came with the ny strip steak—they were pre-cut home fries from Gordon food service. The steak was a cheap crappy ny strip. Burger was alright but not waygu and also sourced from GFS or sysco more than likely. Deviled eggs were okaaaaay. Just didn’t match the price they were asking nor the presentation of the meals as they were worded on the menu. We had salads, apps, drinks, and entrees. All over priced and subpar (except the drink was good). I just really wish they would go the extra mile with their food like they did the house and menu wording. It’s a disservice to the wait staff and customers and the owner themself to not do things the right way all the way. This could be a really great place.

Food and experience has always been lovely, until they just ruined Valentines Day. I booked my reservation months in advance and even called them to make sure they weren't having any special menus or 4 course menus. I was assured they were not. Fast forward to a week before my reservation, I get a call to "confirm" and oh, to also let you know that we are having a 4 course menu starting at $125/pp. At this point, trying to get a new reservation somewhere else will be nearly impossible.

Where do I start! They specialize in country fried chicken, but they were out of white meat on Friday at noon. My wife got a salad, but got the wrong dressing. It took forever to get her dressing and by then she was out of the mood to eat her salad. We had to ask for butter for biscuits and salt for food. The waitress didn’t offer to refill our beverages… we had to ask. Chicken wasn’t real done! No straws for beverages! Overall, it was a 2-3 rating on service. Won’t go back!

We went here for our anniversary because they had Gluten Free options on the menu and we heard it was fabulous. We were very disappointed. 1. Appetizer came out with Gluten/bread crumbs on it. 2. While waiting for the bathroom in the hall I could hear servers swearing and complaining how busy they were and discussing how good some cookies were they were eating in the back line. 3. Food was sent to the wrong table. We had to get up and ask the other table for our food because server/runner didn't notice. (Not our server) 4. Fries were cold and my burger was missing cheese and onion. I ate fries while I waited though because I was hungry. 5 minutes later The server took my whole plate back instead of just getting the sides. I didn't get fresh fries so they were even more cold when the plate was brought back. 5. Burger was cold and rare. I asked for MW I took a bite. It took 10 minutes until the server came back. She was busy. By this time my husband was done with his food. 6. I asked for it to be recooked and to go. They put the burger I ate off of on the grill /pan/microwave who knows. It came back well. They didn't make me a fresh one. We were offered a free dessert but declined. It was very disappointed... especially for the price point. Our waitress was very nice and apologized. She said there was a new person cooking and they were doing their best. I felt she should have sent management over as so many things were wrong at our table. This was our first time there and it was unfortunate this was our experience. I understand that I could have asked for the manager but I didn't see one walking around our entire time there. Both my husband and I have ran and worked in restaurants and were very nice to the staff but felt for the cost and reputation of this restaurant it didn't meet the level standards it claims to hold.

This establishment provided the worst birthday experience I've ever had. We had reservations for Saturday 27th. I want to preface my review by saying that we live in a rural town on a farm and we don't get out much these days because we are so far from the city.. I was quite excited on my milestone 45th birthday that so many had recommended the Rose Villa and we decided to make brunch reservations to start the birthday day off right. When we arrived and were seated, it took a while for someone to come and take our drink order. When the waitress finally showed up, she asked if we wanted water so she could pour some in the glasses that are on the table- I lifted my glass up and I could clearly see a lipstick stain on it. I asked the waitress if she could provide a new glass. We also asked her if the water was tap water, what she was offering us. She said probably because it "was from the bar". Okay, I ask if they have bottled water. She goes to check and says that they only have fizzy bottled water, not still water. I ask again if she's sure they only have fizzy water, how could a restaurant not offer a bottled water without gas? Strange. We order coffee. She brings us a pot of what could only be described as water with color in it. Flavorless, cold, and watery. I ask for the manager. He approaches our table without introduction. I ask if he's the manager. We discuss the confusion with the water/coffee situation and the fact that I was almost served water in a dirty lipstick stained glass and its my birthday. He apologizes and says the waitress got confused, the water from the bar is filtered. He says they will brew a new pot of coffee for us. Now the new coffee was a slightly darker coffee color, but still flavorless. So he says he will bring us a deviled eggs on the house and the whole meal will be free. We felt very awkward and said we were not looking for a free meal, just a pleasant Birthday experience. Not kidding- he comes back 2 minutes later with a plate of the deviled eggs. I thought, there is no way the kitchen has fired this as a new order. They were cold and tasted old, awful. Tasted like they had been leftover from the day before in the fridge and he had given them to us to appease us.. I ask the waitress if the deviled eggs are freshly made. She says the wait staff sometimes makes the egg dish and that's all she knows. Not very reassuring. We order the biscuits. Tasted worse than the ones out of the tube at the grocery store, with a horrible aftertaste. Also, biscuits were burnt and the sauces that were brought to accompany them also looked and tasted awful. See photos below. My husband ordered the potato ham egg dish, no one asked how he'd like his eggs, the dish came out with 2 extremely sunny side up eggs, almost raw on top. We also tried the waffles- those were cardboard, tasteless, like something microwaved out of a cardboard box. At this point the waitress had been apologizing for everything, and I believe she was so embarrassed she didn't want to check on our table anymore. The manager came back once to ask how stuff was and I didn't even know what to say. He tells us he will bring a dessert on the house. I also ordered the goat cheese grits and the grits were the only thing that that was edible. We waited ages for the manager to come back, he never did. We asked the waitress to bring us the check so we could pay and leave. She came back and said the manager refused to give her our check. I didn't even bother to ask about the birthday dessert, we left the waitress a tip and got out of there. I am just so, so beyond disappointed. The dirty lipstick stained glass, the service, the quality of the food - for a somewhat fine dining experience- the Rose Villa was not what we expected and I give it zero stars. We drove almost an hour each way to this restaurant for absolutely nothing. This was not what I was expecting for my birthday. We went home hungry and saddened by our experience. We don't blame the waitress. This is a management and kitchen problem. Cannot recommend.
