Mushrooms Risotto was amazing. Gnocchi with cheese also very tasty. Place is small but it has tables outside, quite and sunny.

Don't recommend it. Long wait times to have your orders taken and the waitress was quick to run off, didnt take the order of half of us, had to call her back. Plates pretty mediocre: we ordered the first two meat dishes, briscolla and arosto, and they were just 2 thin slices of (hopefully meat), like prosciutto. Felt very cheap. The potatoes were pretty raw, not very well done. The sauce wasnt bad, but thats about it. Also lacked chocolate ice cream for their desserts.

I never had such a negative experience. It is worse than a tourist trap. Bad service, bad taste, low quality cakes and ice cream. And a price designed to remind you that they are only interested in your money, and have no expectation to see you ever again.

So bad. The rudest staff. I had a horrible experience here. I have no clue if it was because I’m a tourist? Really terrible food too. A complete rip off. Do yourself a favour and find somewhere else. (Edit: typo)

Were rudely told that you can’t have ice cream sitting down even though there were enough tables there to seat many more. The ‘coffee’/milk was also only half full

The waitress started ranting at us in Italian that we are not allowed to sit at their table while waiting for our ice cream, which is already expensive. Not so tourist friendly, maybe need to be Italian to be treated kindly. Doesn't deserve a star at all.

Spend a sizeable amount of money on gelato only to be told not to use their tables and chairs because we made the mistake of not ordering from a waitress. Terrible business acumen. Zero stars. Go elsewhere.

We stopped at Mojito Café, Orta San Giulio for a quick lunch, attracted by the list of dishes based on Porcini mushrooms as indicated on their display board in front of the location and more precisely by a dish called "Tagliolini ai funghi Porcini", and that was exactly what we ordered, but it was a big disappointment to find ONLY champignon mushrooms in the dish of tagliolini pasta that we were served. I called the waiter and kindly focused his attention on the dish we were served and the fact that it was not containing Porcini mushrooms at all, but he reacted in extremely rude way saying first that he had no idea of what they were doing in the kitchen and then sustaining that it was their way to make that dish and there was a certain percentage of porcini in the dish. There was not even one piece of porcini mushrooms there, but if he apologized and offered to replace the dish with another one it could be ok. What was absolutely unacceptable was his rude attitude towards us as clients, so we decided to leave that location. As we had ordered also a beer, he insisted that we pay 6€ for it without even bringing a check for the payment he was claiming.
