Everything was perfect, kind staff and very good meals
Wow
A noteworthy pizzeria and restaurant, easily accessible and offering ample outdoor parking (unattended). If it's busy, you can park in front of the adjacent furniture store. The restaurant features simple but elegant furnishings, well-arranged tables, and a pizza oven on display—a treat for those with a sweet tooth, watching their pizza puddle come straight out of the oven! The highlight is the children's area, which also features a small outdoor area, staffed to keep an eye on the little ones. The dishes are delicious and reasonably priced, though the desserts offer a slightly less varied selection. The waitresses are courteous and helpful, as is the restaurant staff. The bathrooms are clean but clash with the rest of the restaurant. Definitely recommended for families with children, but also for couples looking for quality at a good price.
Bellisimo
The restaurant consists of a large, slightly retro-style room; it also features a strategically placed children's play area. We found it crowded with young families. The menu is varied, but we opted for the pizzas, which we'd heard good things about. Although the dough (classic, soft, and not very crispy) isn't my favorite, the pizzas are well-topped and taste excellent. The staff has always been attentive and helpful: they even offered to move us to another table after a short while because our table was a bit awkwardly located. Unfortunately, the service was a bit slow, but I suspect it was also due to the rush hour. In addition to homemade desserts, they offer a selection of Bindi pastries. A blast from the past, so nostalgic. I couldn't resist, I ordered the profiteroles, and they didn't disappoint. The crème brûlée, on the other hand, tasted good, even if it was caramelized a bit hastily. Prices are a bit lower than average, so good value.
A lovely place to spend a fun evening. Children have a play area with a play leader. Sports can be watched on the big screen. The pizza is good, with a wide selection. Parking is convenient, and service is fast. The place is quite noisy, but the Wi-Fi is forgettable! NB: They have an app that lets you book, view the menu, and keep an eye on your kids right from your phone or tablet!
Caposala scortese, ci ha praticamente lanciato i menu sul tavol, capisco la sala piena..ma non proprio il massimo. Mezz'ora di attesa per risotto gamberetti e martini: insaporte ed impattatura da men…
We went for lunch. I have to admit, the food wasn't the best. But the good thing is that they're super quick (which is great for lunch), the prices are fair, and, what's more, they accept meal vouchers! Two things are unforgettable: their homemade tiramisu and the person who served us, that skinny gentleman with glasses. Extremely kind and friendly. You'll fall in love with him right away; he makes lunch even more enjoyable.
We ordered takeout pizza and were a little disappointed. The classic pizza was good but nothing special, while the gluten-free one was the classic frozen one you buy at the supermarket. As for the classic pizza, maybe it's better at the place, but for the gluten-free one, I recommend going elsewhere where they make it in-house and it's not frozen!
We searched online for a place with a children's area and came across La ca' di Mat. We read the reviews, and it seemed to offer a good value and a welcoming atmosphere. I called and made a reservation, and the owner (I think) very kindly reserved a table for us near the play area, as per my request. We sat down, and the first impression was negative: the wall the table is against was dirty. If I could post photos, you'd see it. From my point of view, it was indecent for a place where you eat. I went to see the children's area and, at first glance, found it shabby: the entrance wall was worn, graffiti was written on, and the rugs were worn (or old or dirty). The entry regulations require children to wear non-slip socks. Since I didn't have any, I asked the manager. He very kindly brought them to me. I may be picky, but they were non-disposable socks, normal non-slip ones, a little "black" underneath. I hope they're worn and not dirty from the beginning. Service: Slow because the room was really busy. Everyone was very friendly, though. Food: The child had a Margherita pizza, average-to-low quality. We ordered the €30 menu, which included rice with porcini mushrooms and Taleggio cheese, fusilli with cream, speck, and saffron, tagliata with arugula, cherry tomatoes, and grilled vegetables, and house wine. The house red wasn't to our liking. We ordered a €20 Refosco, which was average. First courses: The porcini mushrooms in the risotto were flavorless, the rice was cooked well. Fusilli, thanks to the ingredients, were edible. Tagliata: Medium-firm meat. I'm sorry because the staff is really nice, but between the feeling of being dirty and the mediocre food, I don't think we'll be back.
On weekends, the place is busy, so I recommend making a reservation, although they kindly found us a table. The staff are helpful, though perhaps a bit lacking in organization, as they often forgot something and had to ask. The prices are good, and the food is varied. The mixed fried fish was good, but perhaps a bit greasy. Their strong point is the children's play area, so adults can eat more relaxed. Overall, the food was good.
Certi soggetti sbagliano lavoro! Non andateci assol…
We went to this restaurant to try the cuisine (for the first time) and then booked a large party with many guests. Unfortunately, the dinner went very badly because the grilled meat was smelly. Despite pointing this out to the waitress, we still paid for the grilled meat in full. With this in mind, we decided to avoid this location for our son's birthday and, above all, avoid it for any other occasion.
Totally disappointed, first, starting outside (place didn’t look open) called in to have a guy yelling at me in Italian, couldn’t understand English (which I can completely understand), chanced it and tried to walk in, and surprise, it is actually open. Didn’t feel very welcome but don’t know the area and it was a restaurant so thought I would give it a go. Ordered a steak, steak itself, prepared very well. Problem is tiny, and that’s it, it’s all you get on the plate, a small steak and a half cut cherry tomato. I think I’ve set myself up, always thought Italian food was meant to be the best, but far from it. Service poor, atmosphere (hostile) didn’t feel very welcome. Waitress brought my Coke Zero after my food, after I tried to get her attention, only 3 tables in the restaurant at that time. Feel like I wasted my first time in Italy on this restaurant as I’m sure there are way better.
