Oswego Tea Company Oswego Reviews
I moved to Oswego 2 years ago with my husband and this is our favorite place to have breakfast. I usually order the specialist breakfast crepe and it is always delicious. The service the best!! They are always friendly, warm and super helpful. It is usually not too crowded or noisy which allows for a pleasant breakfast. Highly recommended!
We had a wonderful experience. The staff was lovely and helped us with their gluten free options. The food was delicious!!
This has got to be the cutest place I have ever come. It has a very warm, relaxing atmosphere. It has a cute vintage look. Everyone was very kind and very helpful. I've also had great experience with take out. The FOOD is so delicious! The cinnamon swirl pancakes are the best! It's like a fluffy home made pancake cinnamon bun. Be sure to ask for real maple syrup. I'd also recommend the amazing raisin bread French toast! Cinnamon heaven. The crepes are delicious too. Their muffins, bread, everything is so good. Nice parking. Lots of seating. This is a very clean restaurant. This is my new favorite place I will definitely be back. I highly recommend!
This is the second time I’ve been there. First time wd to get that wonderful cinnamon raisin bread. This time I took my daughter to celebrate our birthdays, excellent food. They were busy but we were in no hurry. I was enjoying the look of the place. My daughter ended up forgetting her take home box but we got three loaves of the bread
Had the waffle with a blueberry sauce and real maple syrup, absolutely delicious there raisin bread the best I ever had. Quint little place that I hope is there forever.
Fabulous little place to stop in for some breakfast! Tried their Amazin Raisin French toast and it lives up to its name. A wonderful, dense bread perfectly made in to French toast. You can also buy a loaf to take home! Service was friendly and exceptional even though they were busy.
I've been going here for some time and wanted to update my review to reflect how consistent and wonderful the food and service have been here! It's one of my favorite places to eat and my go-to in Oswego. Old review: I ordered the "Kitchen Sink" for delivery and loved it! I asked for my eggs over medium and for my home fries and bacon to be extra crispy. All of my food was perfect and I look forward to ordering from here again soon!
Best breakfast spot in Oswego!! The Kitchen Sink is one of the best breakfast dishes I’ve had since moving to NY from the south. Cozy environment with a huge selection of coffee and tea. The raisin bread is the best I’ve ever had. Oswego Tea Company deserves way more recognition than they get. Will most certainly be back!
Building has lots of character however I feel the tables for customers lack a little invite.. perhaps adding green & white plastic table cloths, tea battery operated candles, a table game, TV with captions words with news and soft background music would make it more welcoming.. ladies room needs some sprucing up.. The food and service is excellent!
Stopped in for breakfast and had a really pleasant experience. The service was warm and attentive—staff made sure everything was taken care of without being overbearing. I ordered the Eggs Florentino, and they were absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The only downside was the music. The atmosphere of the café is cozy and inviting, but the endless stream of 80s hair bands felt out of place and distracting. It’s 2025—time to freshen up the playlist a bit! Otherwise, highly recommend for the food and service.
Slow to welcome and seat a guest and in taking their beverage and food order despite the dining area not having but 2 other parties. I suspect a lack of staff that day. Regardless, the staff was friendly, and the food was worth the wait. I loved being able to order a pot of tea, which I took the time to thoroughly enjoy. The attention to service picked up while dining and checking out.
When we went it was a little hectic, as a lot of people showed up all at once. The tea was excellent, but one pot only really work for one person. The food was okay, the Rasin French toast is really good. There were only 2 servers who with the sheer number of people that arrived all at once, kept getting confused and lost. I'd be willing to try again and see if it's better next time.
The past two loafs of raisin bread have been shit. I think its time to try somewhere else. I have heard wades has good raisin bread.
The problem with this place is, and has been for quite a few years, is the service. I would not recommend this place and I stopped going there a long time ago. I reluctantly went with a friend on Sunday September 21st, 2025. The first thing that was lacking was the coffee, it was not hot and when served, no silverware (apparently they don't know how to set a table) was given, no cream, no sweetener nothing, we had to ask for each item one at a time, and it was like that through the course of the meal. The napkins were the fast food type like you get at certain restaurants that you drive up to. The place was so hot and when we mentioned about that they said the air conditioning is on, oh well I guess it doesn't work. I won't be going back. I thought it was pretty pricey for what we got. I also thought the waitress was dressed inappropriaty for a server. The main door where you walk in was closed and you had to walk up the street to a common entrance with several options after walking up the stairs.
It used to be one of our favorite breakfast spots, but lately it's usually busy and they take forever to take your order and bring you the food. Today it took over half hour to get the food and when they finally brought it, it was cold and my crepe was all burnt... I hope they take action because it was a very nice place!
