Amazing place. Amazing service. The pizza is the best. This is my childhood favorite restaurant, and it still is. There is a model train going around in the top and a game place for the kids. Totally recommend.

I must say this is the place to eat pizza, whether you choose to order out or dine inn is up to you... but if you dine inn I definitely advice you to order a salad on the side they are the best, fresh lettuce 2 choices and all ingredients are fresh and daily prepared and the pizza is perfect the crust is on the thin side just the way I like it not to much bread. My top favorite is Canadian bacon "ham" Italian sausage and olives, second is bbq chicken and cilantro and if you like beer you can also order a pitcher or a solo beer and last but not least if you have room for dessert their chocolate chip cookie pizza with a scoop of vanilla ice cream is freshly made to perfection.

Oxnard famous pizza- probably the best in town. They make it super quick, too. Lots of variety, multiple locations and this one is pretty convenient if you live in any of the residential areas nearby. Parking is a bit hard to find because it's always packed.

I come in all the time, food and service is always fantastic. There was a small issue with my order it wasn’t a big deal at all but the gentlemen that cuts the pizza addressed it in a manner that exceeded my expectations. So while this is a review of appreciation for this toppers location as a whole, it is also an appreciation review for that young mans custom service.

Like always, workers are super friendly and patient. For the times I've been at this Toppers there has been no inconveniences. Just a friendly environment in general. I love that they are Never skimpy on cheese they put on the pizza. Also that they have a Coke machine that has every kind of flavor of Coke product you can imagine. Great pizza! Has been the iconic pizza of Ventura county for decades. This particular location is usually busy, but the restaurant kept clean and inviting, and the staff are friendly and quick.

Yes you get to customize your own pizza and get it made. The taste is great! There's a salad bar but you only get 1 run at it. The pizza here is just like the pizza you like (Domino's at its best when its hot), I have come to realize that is the kind of pizza that is the best available (in America at least) The lunch option is good and cheap with the choice of 2 toppings. You can buy a salad to eat while you wait for your pizza. Pizzas are better than you would get at Dominos. Nothing to really die for.

You can never go wrong with having topper's. It's been one of my favorite local places since growing up . The jalapeno poppers are so delicious and the pizza is always cooked to perfection. Salads use to be one of my all time favorites here but now with the whole Covid going on they are already premade. They're still good but I prefer to make my own my way.

Other than the Saviors Toppers, this is one of my go to Toppers I've been coming to since I was a kid. Food and service are good. Arcade is way better than the other two Oxnard locations and overall it's very spacious. Only issue is the Parking.

I moved from southern California but every time I come for a visit I have to have Toppers!!! We don't have a Toppers in Fresno (hint, hint) so I make sure to get pizza from here any time I visit. Please consider opening a location in central California. We finally got a Coffee Bean and tea leaf after living here for 20 years and it is very successful. I know the public won't be disappointed in Toppers Pizza!

I won't lie...the pizza while super greasy is super tasty! Ours was cooked perfectly crisp on the bottom with the perfect ratios of sauce, cheese and toppings. If I was in the area I would def go back. Salad bar reminded me of Sizzler, but cleaner and fresher. The bathrooms though.. the parking lot and bushes might be cleaner options.

Wonderful over-priced pizza and (ONE TRIP ONLY) salad bar. Soda fountain, handful of beers on tap, and minimal wine selection. Not a fan of the ball of oatmeal they call a cookie served a la mode. It resembles a pazookie from BJ's Brewery that's made for someone on a diet, meh. **The customer service depends heavily on your tip here** The dining area is always over crowded, loud, and unfortunately (for the staff and those of us with obedient children) full of obnoxious, sugar-loaded brats making huge messes and tantrums with lazy, terrible parents totally tuned out. What surprised me was the really cool miniature train track overhead with operating train, our twins and baby got a lot of joy watching it. There are a handful of TVs to watch sports while chowing down. Some of the booths are long but most are shallow and stiff, not very comfortable for longer visits. The parking lot is absolutely the worst part about this location. With minimal spaces to park and poorly planned flow of traffic, hitching a ride here is your best option. There is a small arcade that uses quarters for play and a quarter machine nearby to conveniently change out your cash. End impression, expect to experience a sloppy circus from the other guests while you're trying to enjoy your very over-priced, but delicious, pizza once you've traded your first-born for a parking spot.

If you've spent any time in Ventura County and don't know what Topper's Pizza is; then you need to find a new travel agent immediately. If not the best pizza then definitely in the top 3. Old school styled pizzas paired with specialty pizzas that are new family favorites served in a pizza joint that houses little league celebrations, college student study groups, AA after meeting gatherings and all you sports fans who love a place to drink beer, eat good, play arcade games and be loud without hesitation. Nobody tops Topper's, not now not nor ever... Topper's Pizza Forever.

Great food + great service + big family friendly environment = great times. The pizza's are different than your traditional fluffed up greasy doughy ones... They're thin, have crispy crusts, and full of flavor. They have crazy toppings unique to Toppers only and a great salad bar with a variety of toppings as well. A bit pricier than you big franchise pizzerias but well worth every penny; plus they're local so enjoy :)

The staff is friendly and the restroom was clean . The only bad part was the kids that were running wild and kept knocking into us and the parents did nothing about it. Love Topper's. Their salad bar is the freshest in all of the land, I'm quite certain. Love their pizza as well. I do wish they offered cauliflower crust but perhaps in the future they will. I tried the meatballs this time. While small, they were good. If you are looking for a spot that is family friendly and also good for larger parties, this is a good one.

A bit expensive for pizza but then again, the ingredients used were excellent. My brother an I got IBM from the chicken ranch dijon pizza but I forgive them. I also had a bbq pulled pork sandwich that came with chips. For the price, I dont recommend it. It's far too small. Overall, I think this is a great place for pizza if you have a little extra cash and want to eat great pizza.

Food was good but no cap. The lunch size pizza is getting smaller. So it was 4 stars for me today but hopefully it was just an off day. The service is always good and the ambiance is always chill.

It's happened twice in a row for delivery. If you want the right condiments (that you pay for in delivery) they are most likely to get it wrong @ the Gonzalez location in Oxnard. If you call customer service, all they do is transfer you to the location you placed your order from. The location all they said is they will write a note to make sure this doesn't happen again. (A note to whom) they didn't even ask any info about my order, who I was or how to get in contact with me. It's the most expensive pizza my wallet has ever bought but I don't recommend the delivery service. Pizza is good.

Don't get me wrong, I love Toppers. They are my favorite. Tonight I ordered a custom pizza & I paid extra to have extra onions and bell peppers on it. I wish I could show you a picture of it. There is hardly any peppers and then the onions were clumped together on maybe two pieces, not some on most of the pieces. With the cost of everything going up, it just bothers me that I asked & paid extra & didn't get what I asked. As I have said, I love Toppers and will order again

I dont live in ventura county any more so I dont eat toppers as much as I used to. Toppers normally is great. This time, not so much. We ordered 4 large pizzas, and they were all overcooked, dried out, and just not the same as they were the last time I went. I know that this doesn't happen at every location or everytime, but this time, it just wasn't good.

Ordered a carnitas chipotle pizza with chicken instead of carnitas, was told it’s an extra charge since they consider it as an extra topping and don’t have replacement. Never heard this from other pizza places.

Service at this location was terrible by the female named Dulce. She brought 3 orders to our table without a hello, good afternoon or enjoy your pizza, salad or dessert. Not even a smile, if she worked at my business l would just have to let go elsewhere to work. Bad for business not lots of attitude adjustment.

The food has never been the issue here but this is the second time in the last few months I come in and the cashier's are horrible. They don't greet, they're making faces like they're upset and make you feel unwelcomed. Today I waited in line, there were 2 lines, one for each register, the girl saw us waiting, took the last order and waited for us to come up to her to tell us "she was cashing out.. why not say something as the line kept forming? Just sucks to know that it's a sorry not sorry attitude with this place when it's not the least expensive, but you're here to spend money, a little courtesy would to a long way. Just saying ...

Nice place, very clean, but with major issues. First of all it costs $30 for a pizza which is crazy and not a "low price" like they say. Additionally I was waiting a very long time for my pizza and there was not hardly anyone here (maybe 3 other families) which was also a shocker because they are usually super packed. Lastly, they notified us that our pizza was ready via the buzzers that they use and when we went up there to grab it they apparently changed their mind and said our pizza wasn't ready. Not sure if I will be coming back here anytime soon because I'm not looking to pay $90 for dinner with my family at a restaurant that can't even tell us when our order is actually ready.

the pizza is great but the service I got last week was not. I ordered a large pizza for pick up, I got 2 ranch cups and I asked him if I could get two more and he said no that’s the limit and I was like okay never had this issue before so I asked him if I could buy two ranch cups then and he looks at me annoyed and I’m so confused is there a limit on how many you can buy too??? He eventually just says “I guess I could” and rings me up. I don’t understand why he was so annoyed about the whole interaction. I usually go to Toppers in Gonzales Rd. But the last two times the same lady was with a very bad attitude. She is so rude and her face is showing a really bad attitude about the customer service. Ordered delivery, first time experience with this location and it was quite poor, I bought 2 small pizzas and a garden salad, the cheese pizza was over sauced and under cheesed there was (marinara on top of the pizza) and the salad came and the cucumbers were so rotten they were slimy mush as I tried to pick them out, they didn't bring the croutons and the celery was mostly white since it was all from the bottom of the stalk, a good 1/4 of the lettuce in the salad had red and brown edges. Really disappointed to spend almost $50 on this. Won't be ordering delivery from here again.

I’ve been a regular customer of Toppers for as long as I can remember. I’ve had a few issues the last two times I’ve placed my order. One time my order got messed up on line, things happen, I get it. I think it’s straightened out over the phone. I show up, my order isn’t ready..not even made!! I wait another 30 minutes. No apologies, just gave me my pizza. Poor customer service. Today, I order for Valentines Day…well the heart shaped pizza looked like someone threw it in the box…no heart can be seen! So disappointing Toppers! What is going on in your Gonzales Store?!

Started noticing the pizzas were smaller, until one time I noticed a slice that looked like it was from an entirely different sized pizza- the edges didn’t line up or anything. I can only assume the workers are eating portions of pizza and cutting smaller slices to make up the right amount of slices.

Just orders from toppers today. My neighbor keeps giving me crap if my dog barks all the time so I asked people please do not ring the doorbell. Call me. Obviously the person that I placed the order with did not put it for the delivery driver so I made a complaint, but I don’t want it to be the delivery driver because he didn’t know. But the person when you tell them, please do not ring the doorbell toppers instead of Domino, but if they don’t care enough to put it right, it’s really annoying to put an extra delivery payment. Especially over $10 at this time of how things are in the economy with someone Who is only buying food for one person.

I've been buying their pizza for years but lately i've been noticing, that when I ask for extra cheese I don't get it. Even worse I get less than the regular pizza. I call the office, but nothing was able to be done. I have pictures 📸 and video 📹 but they didn't want to see them.

Don't get me wrong I LOVE TOPPEPRS .my go to pizza EVERY SINGLE TIME BUT... this one star review is for the Ancient rule for delivery. We are in 2024 not 2000 so why are they asking for proof of card and ID for deliveries. I BEEN IN THE HOSPITAL 5 Days and my kids who are home wanted pizza . So I order and get a call saying they can't give them the pizza without proof of ID and the card I used which is a Virtual card . How do I show proof when I'm in the hospital? I can't screen shot it because it goes against the banks policy. So basically if your ordering food for someone else . Don't go with toppers forsure becaise you have to be present to show payment and ID . Way to go back in time Toppers

I usually LOVE toppers, but our delivery order was missing a pizza tonight, and the employees refused to take responsibility. Toppers is delicious, but this location lost a party full of customers because their employees don't accept accountability for their mistakes. Since it was close to closing time, they couldn't deliver another pizza (no problem), but wouldn't offer anything for our inconvenience. A discount code or coupon towards a future purchase would've been considerate... but now there will NEVER be a future purchase from any of us.

I placed my order while I was very sick with pneumonia. I had left specific instructions not to ask for a signature after I added a tip. Despite this, the delivery driver waited at my door, insisting that he needed my signature because his manager told him to get it. To that manager: if you don’t understand what pneumonia is, please take a moment to read about it.

Worst customer service, payed $87 visiting family here in Oxnard. Rude waitress started an argument asking me why we had a small plate of croutons. My family are locals now but it was my first time being back in years. I can now understand why the popularity has died down.

Toppers doesn't know how remedy incorrect orders. They want you to wait an extra hour or two when THEY make a mistake before you can eat your food. They make you wait while a driver shows up to your house to take back the incorrect order to have it inspected to make sure it really is incorrect. After that, you have to wait for the delivery of the thing you actually ordered. Just replace the food immediately or give your customer a refund. If you contact corporate you never hear back. Totally overrated. Very frustrating.

Been really downgrading a lot they decided to use the dough from yesterday it was definitely noticeable and also admitted it we were dissatisfied with it and just ate a piece of a slice within each and just tossed it in the trash and then we got another pizza at the ventura location by the mall and it was just extremely salty couldn’t enjoy it at all I wish they would try their own food because both times were just so disappointing… I will admit that it was so much better before they started hiring these younger people that just don’t care for the food quality because I was really thinking it was just the Gonzalez location that downgraded but both definitely really disappointed!! If anyone wants some real good quality pizza try out Ojai Pizza Company that spot never fails!

This time, someone finally took our receipt and returned to inform us that the machine had broken down and our order had not been processed. They offered to remake it and include a cookie for the inconvenience, but by then, our 11-month-old baby had become tired and was crying, making it unfeasible to wait any longer. I asked to cancel the order, and staff informed me they would issue a credit to my card. However, once I returned home and reviewed the refund, I noticed that I was only credited for the large pizza. We also ordered a sandwich, which we never received, and it was not refunded. We were correctly charged for two drinks and a small salad, which we did consume, and I have no issue with those charges. I am very disappointed by the lack of communication, the mishandling of our order, and the incomplete refund. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and look into issuing the remaining refund for the sandwich we never received.

Not sure what the issue was here but maybe they ran out of cheese. Notice the sauce I had to throw this away. It was almost as if I requested light cheese on the pizza or extra sauce which I didn't.

Garbage! Tastes like Walmart frozen pizza. What pizza place doesn't sell slices??? If you want ACTUAL good pizza go-to NJ or NYC then tell me how you feel about this knock off Digorno pizza they sell here.

I HAVE BEEN THROWING UP 2 HOURS AFTER I ATE THEIR PIZZA AND THEY WON'T STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT TO GIVE A GOOD CUSTOMER A CREDIT IF THEIR PRODUCT MAKES THEIR CUSTOMER VIOLENTLY ILL! I pulled into toppers pizza on Gonzalez with intent to dine in. Before I even got out of my vehicle, a delivery driver zoomed into the spot next to me & advised me to move because this is where "delivery driver's park" & stated that my car might be at risk of being hit or scratched.. what??. There is no sign posted that i couldn't park there. I asked to speak with the manager, "Burla" or "Pearla" not sure which as she was speaking so fast. She agreed that my vehicle was at risk of being dented because their driver's are reckless. Wow, okay, I'll go to Pizza Man Dan's.

The Gonzalez location is the worst. Either you’re followed around by older ladies while making your salad, or you’re dealing with miserable employees. I’ve never had these issues at any other location. Hadn't been or picked up from this location for quite some time but made the mistake of going in and its always the same type of service.

High prices. I strongly advise you to prepare your own pizza at home, upper management appears to be indifferent and dismissive of your concerns. Even Cathy, the manager who handles complaints, has been known to ask personal questions about your family matters, which is clearly inappropriate and constitutes harassment.

Ordered a turkey bacon sandwich and there was more veggies then meat no bacon and I love bacon..salad was huge and enough dressing, cookie was good along with the ice cream. first time ordering frm this place ... will give another try but I think I'll order in instead of delivery
