TTO Bong EE Pacific Grove Reviews
No joke some of the best Korean fried chicken I’ve ever had. Speechless how good it is. Got the 10 Piece Boneless #2 Flavor. Sweet honey and Gochujang flavor. The fry on the chicken is impeccable. Crispy, craggly, flavorful, juicy. Unbelievable what a gem this place is.
I love going to Ttobongee. The fried chicken is amazingly delicious. It's crunchy on the outside and moist and juicy on the inside. It is served very hot just the way I like it. I usually get the spicy pork dish as well. It's not too spicy and has nice flavors. The server there has always been friendly and considerate. Go with an appetite.
This place was so yum! I went with a friend and we ordered half a chicken and some bulgogi and everything tasted amazing. The staff were really sweet and the vibes were fun! I loved the music going on the TV. Will definitely be back!
I just went to this place, and it was awesome! The service was super friendly, and the food was insanely good. We ordered the K honey Chicken and Galbi, and both were so tasty. Everything was packed with flavor, and the chicken was perfectly crispy and tender. Overall, I had a great time, and I’ll definitely be back for more!
Great service in this small diner that has great Korean food. Check out their appetizers like a corn dog that would be street food in Korea. The portion sizes are large... You've got to love this chicken.
Really crispy delicious chicken wings and Kim chi. Best wings I’ve had in years, absolutely favorite of mine as soon as the wings reached the table. Really happy with the customer service and atmosphere. This is really a hidden gem for authenticity and flavor.
This is the real deal. If you're looking for a tasty and authentic Korean fried chicken experience look no further. There's also good light beers on tap to wash down the spicy wings, or imported bottles from Korea. There's always something off-menu or special being made as well. Ask the staff for what is new! For those looking for some language training it's right outside the north gate.
Love the half-half yangnyeom and crispy fried chicken here, comes with chips and radish, and also some 2-finger gloves. The spice levels are the real deal. Great selection of other items as well including black bean noodles and jjamppong. Humble and cozy interior with kpop playing on a screen. Plaza parking can be a bit tough during peak hours. Hope to return soon to try more stuff.
We found respite in this beautiful restaurant on a wet chilly Feb noon. The food warmed our souls and the service was really good. For reference: we had the pork bulgogi with rice and the fried chicken combo
Visiting Pacific Grove and have eaten at 3 other places and this was the best by far. Yes it looks a bit like a "greasy spoon" type of joint but it was VERY good and VERY close to what you would get in a similar place in South Korean. Yang Nyum Chicken was cooked to perfection and the sauce it was swrrved is was amazing. Sause was sweet as well as having a spice kick to it just as it should. The 1/2 serving was 9 pieces. My wifes Bi Bam Bop was delicious and was big enough she has left overs for lunch. And the pickeled radishes on the side were extremely good. Definately recomend this place.
Delicious fried chicken. Perfectly crispy wings. No soggy wings here. Some of the drumsticks were huge. We got the combo and it was perfect for our family of 3. We also had the clear noodles and dumplings. Each dish was great. Super nice and friendly staff. The owner was there too and he was very nice. We’ll be back.
Best Korean Fried Chicken I have had by far.......Me and my Daughter go to spot.....never disappoints....our favorite is the Galbi chicken...super yummy..... If your in the Monterey Bay area it's a must to go to!!! ❤️🫶
Had a delicious dinner at ttobongee chicken! Have heard a lot of good things about the food and finally decided to come tonight. We are sad we haven’t come sooner! We got the jalapeño chicken, soy garlic chicken, ttokboki, Korean corn dogs, and rice cakes with sausage. Everything was perfect and service was quick and great! We will be back soon

Place is a hidden gem . The food is always amazing fresh and hot! The friend chicken rice is sooo good 10/10
This is a decent fried chicken place — nothing too special, but it gets the job done. The chicken was good, though not particularly memorable. If you’re looking for a quick, casual meal, it’s an okay option.
Ordered a full soy garlic to go. The flavor is great but the chicken does not stay crispy with the sauce. The drum portion was good but the wings were extremely small in size. I would recommend getting the drums if you’re looking for meat in the meal.

Love the food. It’s hard to get good quality Korean fried chicken in NorCal imo. Definitely not a cheap meal, but you get what you pay for which is quality chicken. Parking can be hard so plan ahead or come during non-rush hours. Downside: every time I come here there is this one cashier who always looks like he’s unhappy and is lowkey kinda rude to me like my existence is an inconvenience to him , or as if I’m trying ordering food they don’t serve. Idk maybe that’s just his vibe, but it’s major mood killer.

The original owner has changed. Since the owner is no longer Korean, the taste of the food was disappointing. “Old Whole Chicken” had thick batter and a bit of a strong seasoning. The tteokbokki was a little spicy, but maintained the taste of the sauce. However, it was disappointing that the rice cake split and lost its texture. We expected there to be a Korean owner, but we couldn't find one anymore.
Overall it’s not bad. The soy sauce and garlic chicken was good but both that and original came out super greasy. The thing I fell in love with was Sodduk Sodduk… AMAZING! The service could have been better considering there were only 2 tables and not many drink options.

This was our first time here. I ordered kimchi soup and my wife ordered spicy pork which her favorite goto korean dish. My wife and I both ended up with upset stomachs afterward, and luckily our kids weren’t with us. We love supporting local spots, so we’re sharing this in hopes it can be looked into.
Food is so so. I ask to go and they don’t even bother to put the utensils. How am I supposed to eat??? If they don’t provide it by default, at least they should have informed me. No utensils for to-go isn’t a universal norm.
