Fourways Inn Restaurant Paget Reviews
Hands down my favorite fillet mignon on island! I usually get take-out but decided to dine in for my birthday and was very pleased with the spectacular service, fantastic food and sophisticated ambiance. This restaurant has a reserved, atmosphere (complete with live lounge piano) not very well suited for small children. I have yet to receive a meal that was prepared any less than excellent. Highly recommended.
Another amazing, no, marvelous dinner at The Four Ways Inn. The highlight of our visit to Bermuda!
Hands down one of the best if not the best dinning experiences I have had. What a great experience the food and service match perfectly. The Escargots you will lick the bowl. Table side prepared Caesar was perfect. The four ways veal is there go to dish. You can not go wrong. This evening we order the Chateaubriand is was absolutely perfect. I am glad I came hungry. The peppercorn sauce was spot on. I will.order this every time I can. To finish we had order the chocolate souffle it is gluten free ask for the Alen souffle it will feed the whole table. I can not wait to go back here. Till next time Check my pictures out.
It was one of the best spreads I've been to. The plus , it was my birthday and won a voucher to come back for free.
Really enjoyed dinner yesterday evening at the Fourways Inn. The team of servers was both professional and welcoming. WE enjoyed our apps, mains, and especially our peanut butter chocolate, chocolate, and coconut soufflés! Tom the pianist was a great entertainer, he came over after his set to welcome us and we had a lovely conversation. Cannot wait to return!
Amazing brunch experience with excellent food choices plus grilled-to-order seafood and meat. One of the best steaks I've had. Loved the Dark N Stormy Banana Flambe and Cassava Pie. There also a selection of sushi. Pretty crowded for Sunday Brunch, making reservations is recommended. Overall, it was an awesome brunch. Highly recommended!
Enjoyed the wine a lot. Friends had been here 20 years before and we found their name in the book. Everyone thought their food was fantastic. The pianist was great and played any tunes we could come up with.
This restaurant was awesome. It had great reviews and they were all right. The food and service was spectacular, especially the souffle desert (best I've ever had!). We went to Fourways for our 20th wedding anniversary and this place didn't disappoint. It was a full five course meal with a great ambiance and setting. There was a piano player who was also terrific. I highly recommend this place over any other location on the island (and we went to a bunch including Blu) for a great dinner if you want a fantastic & romantic meal with your significant other.
We had heard about the amazing gourmet burgers for take-out from Fourways Restaurant, and decided to give them a try. Wow, wow, wow! They are DELICIOUS! A flavourful explosion of tastes, including the incredible Wagyu beef burger itself. The mac-n-cheese fries tasted like more - there was no eating just one! Yum! The vegan burger was a hit too! The staff are super friendly. Orders can be called in for take-out or orders can be placed and delivered through Sargasso. Your tastebuds will thank you!
The service is always on point. Staff are knowledgeable on their wines and food, very professional and friendly. The meals are always delicious and don't forget to try their desserts, they're to die for!
Went here for my birthday dinner and had a great evening. The atmosphere is very Bermudian. Cedar beams and all. World class service and food. We ordered the tableside Ceasar Salad & Steak Diane. Great fun and flavorful. Go and enjoy.
Absolutely the best experience in Bermuda with our party of 10 close friends. We are truly amazed with the excitement of service and the unmatched hospitality. Our dining experience was fabulous with mouth watering options. What a memorable evening with the talented piano player entertaining us throughout the evening. We’ve been in Bermuda a week for the first time and look forward to our return. The charm of this establishment is quite comforting just as it is and is Truly unique. Until we meet again.
Still one of, if not the best restaurant on the Island. A fantastic wine selection, delectable entrees (especially the Diane), and wonderful soufflés (Grand Marnier is unrivaled).
One of the best on the island! Just went here for my birthday and it was absolutely amazing! Foie gras cooked perfectly, the Branzino was fantastic, seared tuna was excellent, and the molten cake was heaven. The maǐtre d was awesome with his upbeat personality, server was excellent, and Tom the piano player was superb! This place is a 10 out of 10! Best dinner on the island! Absolutely incredible and marvelous! 😊
We haven't been into the restaurant yet but had a delivery after a long day and the set 3 course options we good. I had the BEST steak ever!!! We will go on a Sunday as the Brunch is supposed to be fab.
I had planned a trip to Bermuda to visit my first granddaughter, my plan was to stay at a beach hotel all week but was not able to get all 7 nights, so I booked 3 nights at Four Ways Inn. The mistake I made was not staying all 7 at Four Ways! This place is incredible, beautiful clean rooms, and an exceptional staff that always greet you when they pass by. I arrived the day after hurricane Umberto, 80% of the island was without power, including Four Ways, they offered to let me cancel but I elected to stay. They served everyone dinner in their room that night and provided a wonderful breakfast the next morning all compliments of the house. My room had large french doors that allowed a wonderful cool breeze in the room, best nights sleep I've had in years! Now the best part of my stay, the day I was scheduled to check out I had called for a cab to take me to the next hotel, less than two miles away. I waited thirty minutes and still not cab, I went to the front desk and asked Alex Rech, who is the hotel manager, if he could call me another cab. He had a list of drivers who he regularly depended on for his guests, unfortunately none were close by. He left his desk, asked me to wait in the lobby while he went down to the road to try and hail a passing cab. After 15 minutes I walked down to the road and told him I could walk to the other hotel, after all it was less that two miles. He said absolutely not, walking on the roads is dangerous outside of the downtown area, if you've been to Bermuda you know what I'm talking about. He said his assistant manager would be there in 10 minutes, and then Alex would take me to the other hotel in his own car. Within 20 minutes I was at the next hotel thanks to Alex. I've never experienced Customer Service like this, anywhere!!! I'm in a customer service oriented business and this is a story I will share with the rest of the company. Two things came out of my experience at Four Ways, Alex showed me what going the extra mile is all about, and I will be a guest at Four Ways every time I come to Bermuda to visit my granddaughter! Amazing place, amazing staff, and most amazing customer service EVER!! Thank you Alex!
Everything about Fourways is perfect - it’s the only place we will ever stay in Bermuda! Alex is the consummate host; welcoming, knowledgeable, and generous of spirit. Can’t recommend highly enough.
I'm reviewing the restaurant only. We only dined here. But what an absolutely awesome experience we had. The staff provided some of the best service I've ever experienced. The food was top notch. It's the best meal we had while in Bermuda and one of the best all around dining experiences I have ever had. The food is a bit pricey, but in my opinion It is worth every penny. If your looking for a 5 star fine dining experience look no further, Fourways Restaurant will not disappoint.
Great accommodations, friendly staff, and delicious food at the restaurant (especially the Sunday Brunch). Highly recommend.
Absolutely, top of the mark. Awesome experience, wonderful service, exceptional cuisine, all the way around, perfect. So happy that my local partners invited me to Fourways Restaurant during my recent visit. Perfect - and a must place to visit in Bermuda.
My favorite restaurant anywhere! Alex and Andy make it an incredible experience. The food is amazing, piano playing in the background, and the service is unmatched. A special place for a special meal. And the Sunday brunch is outstanding!
10-05-22 Spent our last night in our favorite place on earth, Bermuda, having dinner at our favorite restaurant on the island, Fourways. As always the service was outstanding and our meals were fabulous! To top the night off, Xavier was playing the piano & was at his best. He was taking requests and making everyone's evening extra special. If you've never been to Fourways, I cannot recommend it highly enough & if you have been there before go back. Fourways never disappoints and thank you to the entire staff for such a delightful evening. Karen Tuman
Loved everything about this place. We stayed in one of the cottages & visited for dinner on two separate occasions. The rooms were clean and lovely, the service was fantastic & friendly. The food was superb. Cannot wait to go back. You could tell that a lot of customers were all repeat! Thanks for making our trip special!
Our family enjoyed a lovely Thanksgiving dinner at Fourways. Incredible service, delicious food in a beautifully appointed historic inn.
Amazing meal. Be sure to enjoy the Steak Diane and to end with the Soufflé! Tip the piano player well - he is truly excellent and adds so much to the ambiance.
The staff at Fourways went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The suite was so spacious and comfortable and they do an amazing Sunday brunch.
Party of seven, six of them had the surf & turf w/ lobster and Vela, I had a half lobster thermador. For dessert we all had various different souffles. The entire meal was fabulous and the wait staff outstanding.
Went for Father's Day and the brunch was absolutely terrific! They offer of wide array of various foods and desserts and everything tasted fantastic. Definitely one of the prime Sunday brunches offered on Island.
The restaurant is always 1st class. The food, the service and the ambiance are always excellent.
The food is amazing. The wait staff extraordinary. Alex and team truly deliver the best dining experience in bermuda. 10 stars.
One of the best culinary experiences on the island. Wine list is great. Piano. Escargot, must order soufflé ahead of time, the main dishes are incredible and beautifully presented. Get reservations because you do not want to miss the atmosphere.
Last night of vacation and we decided to dine here. Really elegant setting inside an older, historic room - the live piano player was a great touch. Service is 5 star and the food is right on. Wife had the catch of the day and it was stupid good and I have the veal dish that was also cooked to perfection.
I made the mistake of booking the wrong day for Mother’s Day brunch, but the staff were so kind and accommodating to give us a table anyway! It brought be so much joy to receive the grace and hospitality that day. They preferred to accommodate my family and made it work rather than turning us away. I know now to book Father’s Day brunch several weeks in advance this time 😅
Our wedding plans were really wrecked by Covid-19 but Fourways patiently and graciously worked with us to provide a private evening of catering for our very small gathering! The food was remarkable and the servers and chef were very professional and extremely friendly! I am so glad that despite our plans being different that we were still about to work with this great establishment! 10/10 would recommend their catering services!
We were riding by on our scooter and my nose (I'm the chef in our house) spotted some sort of reduction sauce going on. Turned around and made a reservation for 6:30. A little early..... meandered over to the fantastic old bar and had a classic martini, nice slow and enjoyable. By that time the place started to fill up. We ordered two special appetizers and the special tuna. All perfectly prepared with a terrific wine in accompaniment. We were not rushed and thoroughly enjoyed a top shelf meal at a leisurely pace. My only regret was not ordering the soufflé (must be ordered at seating time to prepare) for dessert. I saw many others and eyed hem with envy. They were perfectly prepared and stood proud.
Dining in is a great experience, but dine out is equally as impressive. Andy will guide you through the delicious options for an exquisite experience at home. We had appetizer sampler and 3 course tasting menu - escargot, lamb shank and cheese cake. Well worth it. Highly recommend.
Fantastic dinner, all elements were there. There was live piano music playing, the service was excellent with a server that was knowledgeable about the menu. The food was delicious. I am however a bit disappointed by the limited options for people who don't want to eat meat or fish. It's 2018 now, only two vegetarian starters of which one a standard tomato mozzarella salad and not really a vegetarian main course is just not acceptable anymore. However, we enjoyed ourselves and the food that we had was nice. The building is beautiful, as is the little garden, it looked very pretty with the holiday decorations. The interior is quite old fashioned but that made the restaurant look romantic. Serving staff is willing to cater to everyone's needs. The dessert is always a soufflet, but you can choose among different flavors, we were full so we didn't have any. The wine list has some affordable wines (for Bermuda prices), and also some extravagant wines for the wealthy. The restaurant is located in a hotel, and based on my dining experience I would not mind to stay there. Would love to do Sunday brunch there too, which is heard is amazing. Hope to be back one day.
An old traditioned authentic French restaurant. Amazing food and great service. We ordered caviar, escargot, Cesare salad, and fourways sampler to start. All were delicious. The entrees were filet mignon, pan-cooked chicken and fish and scallops. No disappointment there. The wine list was expansive. We ordered a $300 Chardonnay, impressive. The lead server, an older European gentleman, was funny and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.
Sunday brunch was out of this world and service was exceptional. About 25 years since we were last here (or in Bermuda) but worth the wait.
We had dinner at the restaurant and had a lot of fun. The service was incredibly swift and attentive. The food was all fantastic and hearty (even by a New Yorker's high standards). They put on a bit of a show here that makes for a classy dining experience. The crowd skews a bit older and it seemed like a lot of folks here were celebrating birthdays or some other occasion. In terms of atmosphere the restaurant has an authentically retro-upscale vibe that makes me think of the 1970s/80s.
Sunday brunch is to die for. Staff is extremely welcoming and attentive. Infrastructure a bit dated for the price. Overall I’d recommend it. Very nice stay for us as with a toddler.
I really enjoyed my dinner here. Everyone was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the steak Diane that was cooked at our table! The tuna tartare was amazing. They had a live piano player which added to the great atmosphere.
My husband and I went for dinner here. The atmosphere was relaxing, soft lights, piano music. The staff were attentive and professional, we had Edi he was fantastic. All staff working together. My husband had ceasars salad for appetizer which they made by our table. The food was excellent, I had filet mignon done to perfection. For desert we had chocolate peanut butter soufflé it was delicious. I would give this restaurant a 10 if I could. A definite go to when in Bermuda.. loved the whole experience. Thank you.
Have stayed here four times. Alex and staff are superb. They meet all of your needs, and I have the answer to your questions on the tip of their tongues. The ferry is a short walk. We ate at the restaurant. All dishes were 5 star from salad to entrées to the delightful lemoncello souffle for dessert. The wine list is as extensive as I have seen anywhere. Service is impeccable. If you are in Bermuda and don't eat here, you are truly missing something special.
Whether we are talking about the rooms or the restaurant, for me Four Ways has been the best Bermuda has to offer, consistently, for many decades. Dinner is a wonderful experience. Don't rush it. It's also a great place to propose marriage. Thank you...
Marvelous! Fourways is simply the VERY BEST! What to choose for dinner from their extensive fantastic menu you will find as a fortunate impressive dilemma! You will for sure find yourself planning the next night’s dinner. The finest, freshest ingredients curated by their amazing chefs result in consistent delights to the sight, smell, and palate…amazing! Table side created Cesare salads, Steak Diane or Banana Foster are all an entertaining and tasteful delight. From the moment you arrive at the front desk the service is impeccable, warm, and friendly! The management and staff immediately make you feel like family. Andy and Alex, are always the consummate hosts with deeply refined knowledge of their extensive wine selection and a flair for preparing some of their fantastic dishes at your table, an impressive sight to behold. The old-world charm of the restaurant brings you back in time with elegant furnishing and finishes – a delight to your eyes. Even better, staying in one of their charming cottages is a true delight at a very reasonable price. Located in the centre of Bermuda and minutes from Hamilton makes it an ideal location for visiting the island. We have been staying at Fourways for several years, when visiting Bermuda and can honestly say, Andy and Alex always ensure with genuine care that you have everything you need and want for your stay at Fourways! The uniquely beautiful benefit of staying in a Fourways cottages is that you have a very pleasant and short walk to the absolute best restaurant on the island! – Marvelous! Looking forward to visiting our home away from home next year for a longer stay at Fourways!
Great experience. Very friendly servers. Very good tasting food.
Located away from the business of town, this is a lovely restaurant to go to for either a romantic dinner or a brunch with the whole family. Make sure to go on a sunny day, as the grounds around it are always inviting for a stroll or picture taking. Food has never disappointed us, the brunch food choices are always overwhelming. Not the cheapest place around but that hasn't stopped us from coming back.
Went for dinner Saturday gone, upscale dinning with 40 year's under it's belt. Attentive personable staff whether they have know you over the years or first time visiting . Menu wide selection from veal, chicken, lamb, fillet minoin to strip steak , fish sections (local Bda , caught Daily ) or brought, beef Wellington and deset souffles with a variety of flavors. ambience - darker room with lights dimmed to create a cozy feel along with beautiful music being played on the piano . Very enjoyable evening .
Excellent food, went for Sunday Brunch on Father's Day. Spectacular selections from seafood to desserts. Made reservations ahead of time and was seated promptly. Only disappointment was their advertised pricing was different than the tab ($10 higher for the holiday). Their website advertised $59/pp but tab had another $10 tacked on for $69/pp. They honored the pricing when brought to their attention, much appreciated!
Recently had dinner at the restaurant, beautiful rooms, great service. Food good but not great. Chefs veal special and wagyu beef appetizer average. Remainder of dishes very good.
Went to the restaurant midweek. Space feels historic in some ways merely old in others. Not the buzziest place in town with the carpet belonging in another era. Having said that the food was excellent. Menu was old school but if you want classic recipes executed properly this is a good choice and everything was well cooked and seasoned. Service was attentive and polite.
3rd time for brunch in the past year. It was meant to be a best of the best, all their best dishes from previous brunches. I think it was a little too much. Some dishes were good. Most of the meats were well prepared and properly seasoned. I usually look forward to the cold selection but the grilled veggies and sushi were under seasoned. Even the desserts were bland and they're usually great. I applaud the vision but the final product needed more flavour.
Disappointing French Cuisine Very elegant restaurant. Upscale interior with live piano music. Attracts a lot of rich locals, mostly for special occasions I suppose. Very French menu - attempting to be haute cuisine. Not sure if they have wine by the glass - wine list shows only full bottles and a few half bottles. Had a nice half bottle of Kendall Jackson Cabernet. French and mixed grain bread was good. Appetizer was escargot. They came in cream sauce which was not very appealing. Main course flank steak - perfectly seasoned and perfectly prepared, but the meat was tough, almost gristly. Dessert was a WONDERFUL chocolate souffle. Piano play produced elevator music and looked like he was in severe pain while playing. But when he took a break he did walk by and smile. Overall, pretty disappointing for the VERY HIGH PRICE I paid.
Wonderful atmosphere, delicious food pleasant server. What I didn't like is that our server did not speak English at all, and had to get her manager a few times for simple requests such as, "what type of juices do you have?" Or "may I have 2 shots of tequila?" It saddens me that while she may have the experience this is considered the slow season, and a local could have been in her job position. If I recall the only local was the hostess. If our server had been living here for a long time I'd be more understanding but she had been on the island for only 2weeks. She was a total sweetheart but it's disheartening to live on an island and not see at least half the staff be local.
Fantastic food and service. One negative though, we were over charged for an after-meal drink. I mean by like 30$ x 3 so close to 100$ over. No apology, no compensation, nothing. Lame excuse was "we recently updated our prices" ya right, you increased that single item by 50% and left all the others the same.... Feel like they knew ours was a corporate meal and they might be able to get away with a quick one. Disappointing as the rest of the meal/service was great. Left a sour aftertaste.
If you’re 117 years old and going to die tomorrow this is a perfect place - felt like an over priced nursing home. Food was OK but it was quiet and weird and there were ants crawling on my table( like actually… I alerted my waiter and he pinched them away to the floor like it was no big deal) . The piano player was so tired and old and quiet and so was everything else.
The staff is ABSOLUTELY horrible! Please do not stay here! Take your money elsewhere! Especially the hotel manager Alex! They are rude, inconsiderate and very unwilling to help. I must have called 7-8 times for help and emailed 4 times to which no reply was given. Please spend hour money elsewhere.
Was charge $250 for my husband and I to eat but never was able to eat as we had our 1 year old girl who was doing normal baby talk yet a table of 10 people seated next to us was much louder and we were required to leave because of the baby. This more than just unprofessional if you have children you been warned!
