I have been doordashing on the side and I have done a few runs for this location. I had a pick-up Sunday 12-22-2024 for a rather large order. I just wanted to say the team that was working was doing an absolutely great job. I was very impressed with their communication and fluidity working together. I've been a chef and in kitchen management for years and while I dash I'm always watching the kitchen crew work while I wait for food and you had a great crew on that day! Those are works you invest in. I just want to let them know some took notice in their work.

I tried the Taste of KFC meal at this location, and it was pretty good. It also seems like a good deal for the price. The service was pretty fast, but note that I went at a time when it wasn't very busy. I also ordered at the kiosk, not at the front register. The interior is very unique for a KFC, and the seating area is quite spacious, though keep in mind that doesn't mean there are a ton of tables. Also, the parking lot entrance is on Edgar Tillman St, not on W High St, and it can be a bit confusing to spot the actual entrance at first.

Unfortunately I had a long wait for my chicken, and the traffic pattern at this KFC is not exactly easy. Food was good when I eventually got it. Beautiful building, reminds me of a bucket.

Every time I go my food is excellent. Fresh and warm. Staff is friendly. They should clean the front door handle, though.

I usualy love KFC but I've wanted to try the Mike's Hot Honey Chicken Sandwitch. The 1st time I got one there was hardly any of the Mike's sauce so all I tasted was the pickle. So this time I ordered it no pickles via the app for drive-thru when I got there I asked if they could put a little extra sauce on since there wasn't that option on the app and was pretty rudely told that she put enough sauce on them and there pre-made anyway. I gave a 3 star because the gentleman who actualy gave me my bag at the window was friendly. I take get my sandwich out i take a bite and EWWW 1. The bun is hard 2. I got a mouthful of Mayo (which isn't even suppose to be on this sandwitch) and a dry piece of chicken. It literally looked like she took a regular chicken sandwitch that had sat for a while and just added some honey sauce. Realy disappointed.

Food is usually haphazard and poorly made at the Painted Post location. My most recent order had smushed biscuits, corn in both my gravy, and mashed potatoes and gravy sides (I didn't order any corn). I also ordered 2 breast and 1 wing, and received 1 breast, 1 wing, 1 thigh. Now granted, it was a big thigh, but it was still clearly dark meat, when I prefer white meat, and paid extra for it. Food from this location is very inconsistent, there seems to be very minimal staff, and I am frequently disappointed. I had delivery for the first time today otherwise I would've taken the thigh back. My ratings for service and atmosphere are based on 5+ other visits in store as opposed to today's delivery. I desperately miss the quality of this KFC and do think this location lacks quality due to a lack of staff - usually see only 1 or 2 people in the building. Not fair to the employees, so I hope management and/or the franchisee fixes that ASAP!

Food used to be decent when it was a newer location. I typically get a chicken sandwich meal. Last 5 to 10 times the chicken has been like rubber. This time, the bun was stale as well, and you could taste the fryer oil on the still rubbery chicken.

Imagine this one day you’re driving down the road and you’re passing your local KFC. I say driving by the KFC. I see a sign for fried pickles too. HOT DOG! I love fried pickles, i say. I’m gonna go over and buy some. I the spent 20 minutes, trying to find the parking lot. I then do my Marvin needle hay stroll inside of the local KFC I look around holy crap. This place is beautiful one of the most awesome looking KFC’s. I’ve ever seen in my entire days of going to KFC‘s across the country. The atmosphere made me almost fall on the floor in tears.CHAPTER 2: I then walk up to the staff a sexy fella let’s call him Harold. Harold is now my new favorite man however he sadly had to put some unfortunate news in my ears. I try to order the fried pickles, one thing of fried pickles. I say, Harold, my savior but also my demon goes sadly. We are not doing fried pickles anymore. I forward to the floor crying no I exclaim sadly my hero. Harold said it’s ok king is there anything else you would like? I respond. Is there anything else with pickles on it? I can’t get them fried. I must get them normal. He says yes you can have the chicken sandwich. There’s a spicy version too. I say give me some of those spicy John’s. I then turned into the beautiful atmosphere behind me in tears. I wait for the food. It was quickly given to me less than a minute and then walk out the store sadly but with the little thing in my hands, my little spicy sandwich I go to my car and I enjoy the sandwich the pickles good would it taste better fried the chicken awesome the bread I mean, it taste like bread the spice oh I made my tongue burn. The food was good. The place was beautiful. The staff amazing my king. I don’t remember his name, but I’m calling you Harold now awesome Harold if you’re reading this, you saved my day, but you also made it horrible. I like to say I would go here, but I would not recommend to another fried pickles man.

Wanted to order a bucket of only breasts (extra charge of course). Was told I could not order a bucket that way. I then asked to order them individually and was informed that they only had 3 breasts available and would have to wait at least 20 mins to get my order. The person at the register was completely unhelpful and acted like I was making his job very difficult. I ended up walking out without ordering anything. Won't EVER go back there.
