Nice place, very spacious, but I ordered a salami sandwich, and even though the menu said it was fresh, when it arrived, you could already smell it wasn't fresh at all. The first bite confirmed this. Two other people besides me ordered the sandwich and confirmed it wasn't fresh. No complaints about the drink, the beer is good. That said, I just hope I've had a bad night. I'll give the pub another chance, but I definitely won't order the salami sandwich. I should point out that immediately after reading the owner's message, I went to talk to him. When he invited me to check the ingredients, I felt compelled to decline because they could have shown me some truly fresh salami. Alternatively, I suggested they go check on the sandwich, which had been left on the table until we left the pub, and when I returned, two minutes later, they had, lo and behold, thrown it away. I would also like to point out that this review is based only on my experience this evening; I've had quite a good experience there on other occasions.
