Amigo Room Palm Springs Reviews
What a lovely surprise! I had been to the Ace Hotel but hadn't discovered the Amigo Room. It has its own drink menu, but you can order from the Kings Way menu. Great room with a contemporary, upscale interior design. It's the perfect place to meet friends for drinks. The bartender is knowledgeable and has suggestions if you prefer a mocktail. Looking forward to going back.
My boyfriend took me on a date to the Amigo Room and we had an absolutely phenomenal experience! If you’re looking for incredibly unique cocktails, and a suite of bartenders with impressive depths of alcoholic knowledge, the Amigo Room is definitely for you. Dauntless and the Corn & Oil cocktail were my favorites, so incredibly balanced, perfect ratios. We also dined, the Fried Cauliflower was killer, the 10oz pork chop was juicy and flavorful, and the Branzino fish was the best I’ve had in my life! We left feeling full and impressed! Check this moody well decorated spot out for a lowkey and lovely date night.
A great place with a unique ambiance to stop and have a few drinks with friends! The service was great and the drinks were made to order delicious! Prices are reasonable, too. You can order food (a limited menu in the bar) from Kings Highway restaurant, if you need a snack. Definitely one of the local bars to check off of your list when you are exploring Palm Springs!
It's the best when Pedro Le Bass is in town
Open mic was awesome 👌

Located in the Ace Hotel, this is a cozy bar with access to the pool. Bartenders are friendly, knowledgeable, and skilled.
Oh Jesus... The best bar Ever!!! Where else are you gonna see as stuft bear and be drunk out of your mind... Yeah Amigo!!! The Amigo Room...
The bartenders are good guys, the drinks are on point and the beer selection is why I go.
My husband still talks of Drag Nite Bingo at this place: COWBELLS!! Where to start? How about with the 6'3" drag queen hostess/ bingo-trivia leader/ performer with the 8" tall purple hair-do? Enuf said. OK, add that she/he keeps everyone in line with a COWBELL and a friendly "YOOO- HOOOOO!!" every once in awhile. Friendly place, you will meet your neighbors in this bar, people are happy to start a conversation. TOO much in every way, and we LOVED IT!!
This is a place I have been to many times before, but not recently. I write this now because there is a new sheriff in town and he did time at Mikkeller DTLA. He scrapped the previous, anemic tap list and immediately installed the real deal on tap. I had a English pale from Yorkshire Square in Torrance and a Reissdorf Kolsch - an actual Kolsch from Cologne, fresh! This may easily be the new king in town when it comes to craft beer (not that that is saying much, unfortunately) and there are plans for more. Keep it up!
Bit of a sleeper this one but some great cocktails (Oxacan) good food (Amigo burger with horseradish!). Good selection of craft beers. Friendly staff are what made it.
I'm a regular here on Mondays for the most fun bar trivia I've ever participated in. The beer selection is always an adventure.
My favorite bar in PS. Awesome vibe, great service and you can have Kings Highway food inside.
Came here for a birthday party and had a blast. The staff reserved a space for us and decorated it nicely. The cocktails were delicious, and the music kept the party going all night. Everyone was friendly, and the atmosphere was electric. Highly recommend for group celebrations.
It's true that a lot has changed, but the local love remains! Daily events keep this place lively!
Recently renovated and fabulous. Monday night 9pm drag Trivia is not to be missed.

Nice ambiance. Wish we could drink inside but that's covid, not their fault. Poolside is still pretty dope.

Little watering hole in the Ace Hotel. Wed night's comedy night 9-11pm

I got to the Amigo Room around 9 p.m. and it was rather inviting. I liked the decor and the vibe. It's a small space, but the booth setup provided what felt like a little privacy that allowed for talking with friends. Until a little later that hour when the DJ started. The volume was up so high that talking (or hearing anyway) became very difficult. I would anticipate that at a bar more suited to dancing, but the Amigo Room is more of a tiny, low-key, pseudo-Mexican cocktail bar that would be better left to those who want to sit and drink. However, that being said, it's not a great place to go if you appreciate a good drink. I was warned by more the one person in the party we were joining not to order the drinks that they had chosen, and my whiskey sour was all sour and nearly no whiskey. Overall, the Amigo Room had some charm, but probably not enough to get me back there.

Rude bar staff and misleading information. Went in for dinner and drinks when there was comedy event. Was told at the door by the hostess that meals were still available, ordered drinks at the bar and was told that meals were not available. Left and went to the restaurant (Kings Highway) instead.
