I have been meaning to go have breakfast or lunch at Goody's Cafe in Palm Springs. Some of my friends enjoyed going there from time to time. A dear friend and myself decided to go there on a Saturday - around noon time and check it out. I was overwhelmed with their menu and system for getting food to your table by an assigned number once you place, and pay for your order. I would really suggest that you spend a great deal of time studying the menu, there are tons and tons of options ... The staff is super friendly, some speak Spanish (and so do I), and they are hard working back and front end of the establishment. My friend order one of their Gyros and I order the Veggie Wrap. Our food was absolutely delish!!! Overall a great place to go for breakfast or lunch. Families there with children and even when they were making lots of noise and a mess at the soda/dispenser area, the staff was on the case cleaning up immediately. I am very impressed and will definitely come back.

Food always good price makes the portions you get not had a bad meal from here. $23 I got a drink as well but I think it was worth it

It was great as always. They kept bringing us the wrong food & drinks, but when we finally got the right food & drinks they were great as always! Even though there were a lot of mishaps they happened with a smile. Love Goody's. Had never been to this location though. Super convenient location. Tons of parking.

I visited Goody's Cafe for the first time during the weekend of May 3rd and 4th. It is a very clean and well lit location. My interaction with the employees was very positive. It offers a wide selection of menu items. I ordered the Patty Melt Combo with Fries and Drink on Friday night and Plate B: 2 French Toast, 2 eggs, 2 bacon strips, 2 sausages, and coffee on Sunday morning Both orders were well prepared and were very good. I forgot to take a photo of the Patty Melt Combo. I definitely plan to return on my next weekend trip to the Coachella Valley. 06/15/2026 I visited this Sunday morning before I left the Coachella Valley on my recent overnight stay. It was slightly busy but not crowded. I had a pleasant visit once again. Once again, I ordered Plate B for breakfast.

Had the Greek Omelette without tomatoes. Was delicious! The Orange Juice was also very tasty and made in-house.

My family likes eating here. If you have a group that isn’t sure what type of food they’d like this is the place for you. We had a salad a sandwich and French toast on this visit,but they have hamburgers and Mexican food as well. Can’t say that I’ve found anything on the menu that I love but I try something different every time we go in so I haven’t settled in on a meal or even a type of food yet.

Discovered Goodys Cafe and glad I did. The concept is like a regular diner but you order at the counter, they bring it to you and you don’t even have to bus the table… just leave your dishes. On real dishes and silverware too. They don’t even ask for a tip at the register! All of this adds up to really giving you an experience above a fast food place but not $30 or more per person at a “table service” restaurant. The food was pretty good. I had a Cobb salad, while I’ve had better this was not bad for $13.95. Companion had the turkey melt they reported had lots of turkey and was quite good. Typical kinda fast food atmosphere here. And they have a drive thru. Sometimes I want a big salad but don’t want to pay $25 at a “sit down” restaurant. I’ll just zip through the drive through and take it home. And save the tip for myself.

Goody's Cafe is a mderately priced place. Most meals cost between $8 and $12 including drink. The staff is helpful and polite. The menu includes a selection of diner sandwiches, salads and breakfast served all day. We ordered a BLT and Chili Fries. The sandwich was well prepared with ample bacon but the fries were not crispy as requested. The chili fries were delicious in the greasy spoon way. This place is worth a stop.

The food has become mediocre. The prices have gone up alot. Its not what it was. I had the chicken strips and fries. The chicken was dry. The staff is friendly and fast. The sit down area is kept clean. Dirty dishes are removed right away.

Used to be a fave go-to for us for breakfast. No more! I’m not sure if they have a new cook, but they overcook the eggs into a crispy brown mess. Not appealing and not tasty, sadly. They need to get their mojo back before we revisit.

We have always loved this place. The food hasn't tasted good the last few times we have have went. The food isn't worth what they charge now. Probably won't be returning to this location. Chicken tender and fries, carne asada nachos and a cheeseburger with zucchini cost 45.00

We’ve been here a bunch through the drive through and there’s an occasional mix up with special instructions (add ons or leave offs). Tonight i ordered a breakfast burrito with fries on the side instead of hash browns. I notice there’s no fries in the bag so i call and they say “oh we put them inside the burrito, come back through the drive through and we will remake it” i say okay great thanks. I come back through and the girl at the window has the most insane attitude ever. I explain the situation and she starts going on like “i heard your order” and im like okay just a miscommunication it’s fine and she’s like “i don’t know what you guys want we’re remaking it i don’t understand what the issue is like we didn’t know if you were coming back today or tomorrow or at all” like girl what? I’m just doing what the person on the phone said and explaining the situation it’s not that serious. I’m not even the type to leave reviews but the attitude and eye rolls were just too crazy over a side of fries. Food is always great but this girl has a major attitude problem.

The place is filthy, and the staff has very little understanding about customer service. There are all kinds of restaurants in Palm Springs that serve the same menu and do it 1000% better. Do not waste your time or your money.

Yuck! Food is lifeless and totally uninspired. Cheap ingredients. Served with a frown by employees who couldn't care a less. No idea why people eat here. I took two bites of my sandwich and decided to give it to a homeless person. Prices are not even that good.
