Def worth it! A delayed review from our July 30 2022 visit for dinner, but had to share. AMAZING place and people. Pizza so great, fresh, crisp, tasty, the perfect pie. Beers ice cold. Vintage photos on walls of Shakey’s history so cool. And the team ROCKED. Nayley, José, the main manager (we forgot to note his name!), everyone else. Efficient, welcoming, friendly, skilled, and awesome human beings. Thank you! We’ll be back.

Huge fan of Shakey's pizza. This location is a good one. staff was friendly, service was prompt and pizza was great.

Shakeys pizza takes me back a few decades. Haven't seen one in years. Came across this one in Palm Springs and enjoy reminiscing with the food and atmosphere. Pizza is average but the chicken is about e average.

12.23.22 @ 4pm (Tuesday) - Visited this spot for the second time with little ones. The small pepperoni pizza($6.99) was tasty. The buttery/oily, crispy, crust appears to be evidence of an old fashioned brick oven. The mojos ($2.99) (thinly sliced, battered, deep fried potato crisps) are extremely addictive, but they would be even better if they came with some type of ranch or cheese sauce. Pretty good price for the food! We were the only ones in the restaurant and received prompt service. It would've been nice if the waitress would've came to check on us after we tasted the food. It's not like she was busy with other customers.

I love the Brunch of Lunch all-you-can-eat lunch buffet, for pizza, pasta, chicken, and of course, mojo potatoes! It's not fine dining, but it's good, cheap, and plentiful. The stand-outs are the fried chicken, and the mashed potatoes. The pizza options are usually fairly diverse, and if there's something specific you want, they'll make it for you! It's not fancy, but I enjoy it.

Everyone is great here. The food is not bad. My only reason for posting is the men's restroom is putrid. I've been here about 5 times and every time the men's restroom smells like a septic tank or a sewer. It's truly disgusting. Please fix guys.

I’ve never been to a Shakey’s Pizza before, but we decided to have a try at it. We have 8 kids, so for the kids it’s always a win when it comes to pizza. They had a good selection of pizza’s and even had an option to build your own pizza. We choose two large pizzas, wings and a salad. I had the wings first, which was actually the best part of the meal, but the pizza wasn’t great and the salad didn’t have much options for toppings. Ordering was simple and the service was fast, just wasn’t what I was expected for the price we paid.

All you can eat buffet with not many choices. It seems the same pasta sauce is used for the pizza sauce as well, giving it a very overly sweet taste. I enjoyed the mashed potatoes, gravy, and fried (like a jo-jo) potato slices though + refillable sodas.

I tried the buffet for the first time and found it very disappointing. The food was cold and not nearly as good as when you order from the menu. It’s unusual for me to leave a review after four years of coming here, but I felt compelled to share my experience. While I was dining, a couple brought in their dog, which they claimed was a service dog. It was clear to me that the dog was not a legitimate service animal. They sat in a booth and allowed the dog to sit next to them at the table! This establishment is meant for dining, and with food out, fans blowing, and people eating around, it was quite unpleasant. Absolute disaster. Chaos in the kitchen and orders were not going out in order. We ordered two small pizzas and one was done and just sat there. 60 minutes later I asked what was going on and the cook gave total attitude. Told me to just get a refund, so I did. I then watched him dump the one pizza in the garbage. Total mess. I used to love Shakeys and brought my partner there to introduce him. So disappointing

Recently, while in town for a high school football game, my family and I decided to stop by Shakey’s—usually a dependable go-to for quick pizza. Unfortunately, this visit was a big disappointment from start to finish. Right away, we noticed a horrible rotten-egg smell coming from the restrooms. We always wash our hands before eating, so we went in—but the odor was overwhelming. My wife sat down while I ordered our usual pizza, chicken, and mojos. The food came out slowly, and when my wife went back to use the restroom, she locked the door, yet someone was still able to open it while she was inside. That alone was unacceptable. We were seated in a booth near the restrooms since most tables were reserved, and every time someone opened the restroom door, that awful smell filled the area again. Eventually, I had enough and decided we’d just pack everything up to go. Before leaving, I took one last bite of my pizza—only to bite into a metal strip. I brought it up to the clerk, and the kitchen staff immediately recognized what it was. The employee offered me a $10 credit, which at that point I accepted just to be done with the situation, but the issue was never about the money. The entire experience was extremely disappointing: the smell, the restroom issue, the slow service, and worst of all, the metal in the food. I probably won’t be visiting another Shakey’s for a very long time.
