Pizza Ria Delphi Palmer Reviews
I just picked up a big takeout order. In the past I always had pizza, which is the best I’ve ever had. But the spaghetti and lasagne I got tonight was fantastic. They are so nice, amazing service and the best Italian food I’ve ever eaten. And I’ve been to Italy many times!
Bill's favorite will have you looking at pizza a different way, a great way that is. Absolutely delicious. I'm now trying the Chicken Cordon Bleu Sub, ohhh my this should be illegal, so much flavor and the dough is perfection.
Great prices! Delicious pizza and gyro plate! Large menu. Glad to know business has made it and continues after 40 yrs! Congratulations to you and bless your business into the next 40!!
Absolutely loved it. The pizza was great. No complaints from us. We all got a different personal pizza and we enjoyed it. We will be visiting again soon.
We needed a place to end our day and enjoy a simple pizza. This place was quaint, dated, and the live piano was a great touch to our first day of traveling through Alaska. We enjoy locally owed. Food was timely served.
Pizza was baked fresh. The cheese did the melt-y thing it does when hot. All great signs. I am not sure I would go again, there wasn’t a wow factor for me. Mostly the fact that there was some concerns whether a hair on a platter was from someone in the kitchen or if it was one of ours. Anyway - food 3/5, customer service 5/5
Good food but small portion for the price. $18 for a small portion of lasagna and a salad. Lettuce, olives and a half slice of tomato. Still hungry.....😒
Piano player was good! The food was less than expected. I ordered the chicken parm. And got brought a "chicken parm sandwich" it's was chicken tenders.
This place was not my favorite. Ordered to-go, the pizza was decent - not bad, not the best, would probably go elsewhere. Got chicken parmesan too, and it seemed like a frozen chicken cutlet got warmed up with some mozzarella and tomato sauce. For how much we paid, I’d expect higher quality.
Yesterday we received a very sub-par meal. It was ordered as a delivery order and I was told it would be 20 minutes. About an hour and a half later I received a call telling me it was ready for pickup. I reminded the girl that it was delivery and she said she was new and apologized. No big deal…we all make mistakes. When the order got here the pizzas were barely warm and the antipasto salad was loaded with brown lettuce. We ate it anyway. Today while finishing the order and looking at this brown salad I felt like I needed to talk to management. I could not have been any nicer or more understanding but when the manager made a comment about the “CALIFORNIA LIBERAL FRUIT-CUPS” (something to do with how his produce is supplied) I told him that not only did he serve us a horrible meal but he insulted a customer. I will NEVER order from them again.
50 dollars for 2 pizzas is something, taking over an hour to get takeout because they "lost" our order is not okay.
I paid $9.95 for this order of fried mushrooms and only got 9 pieces! While the mushrooms were decently crispy, the portion size was shockingly small for the price. The container looked half-empty, and even the ranch cup seemed oversized compared to the amount of food. At nearly a dollar per mushroom, this feels like a total rip-off. Definitely not worth it — I won’t be ordering this again.
The grossest fish and chips I've had in Alaska since moving here. They call it Halibut but it's Cod. Nowhere in Alaska servers four pieces of Halibut for 19.99. That was my bad for trying to get a deal. Im not sure if the location in Palmer is any better than the location across the street from 3 Bears, but the "manager" I spoke to makes me believe it's not. Do better.
Our family have been patrons here for years. Weekly visits, lately the service has been getting worse and worse. Tonight, we sat down in an empty restaurant, ordered our food as usual, 20minutes go by, people come in, 30minutes, 40 minutes. Then we see the people who arrived after us get served. Over an hour later, the manager tells us they messed up our order, and gave it to a take out client. We have a large party, how do you not notice we don’t have our food? Then, they finally bring our pizza and it’s sloppy, hurried together crap. That’s the last time we eat there.
Still searching in vain for a decent pizza. The best so far is now closed & nobody up here in the Great White North seems to have a clue how to make a good - let alone an exceptional - pie, despite there being hours of online videos and culinary sites detailing how it's done. Read Pizza Delphi was 'the place' in the Matsu so reluctantly decided to give it a try. Ordered 'the special' thinking that if they're proud enough to call it that it might well be our best bet. It wasn't. The aroma of the pie was excellent. Hopes up. But the toppings were sparse. Feared the worst & was sadly rewarded when we found the crust soggy and the slices limp & wet. Worse still, the first taste was a salt bomb worthy of cod preservation. There was enough salt incorporated in this 'special' that it could have preserved an Egyptian mummy for another 1000 years. Couldn't eat it and ended up throwing it out. That will be the last $30 we spend on this disappointment, one that is all too common here. We dined in when it wasn't busy. Between the lunch & dinner rush. We ordered pizza, pastas, & calamari. The calamari was soggy and left a really bad aftertaste. We only had a piece each and didn't finish it because it just tasted off. The pizza was also soggy on the bottom and the crust was very tough. The pasta was ok though. Not very flavorful but not terrible. The server wasn't very friendly, seemed annoyed, and checked on us only once and that was before our food arrived. We had the impression that if we let them know about being unhappy with our meal it would not be received well. So we paid for our meal which was mostly just sampled and left. The restaurant itself is dated but cozy and has that familiar feeling of family restaurants as a kid.
