There food at this location in paramount by the Walmart is the freshest. There food here never disappoints. I am NOT a big yoshi fan but this location here serves excellent portions and fresh to order...I definitely would recommend this yoshinoya over all the others.100%

2nd time I've been here late night and the girl at the drive thru is so sweet. Tonight my order took a little long because they were making me fresh veggies, and she apologized and threw in a free cookie. As if the fresh veggies wasn't good enough. Really nice gesture and I appreciate it. Such a good, pleasant young lady. I hope she continues the good work and gets rewarded for it.

This is a place for mostly healthy fast food. I got the shrimp bowl with not so fried rice and it was delicious. Always a nice alternative to burgers and fries, and much healthier too.

Although we waited for approximately 20 minutes or longer in the drive thru when we got our food it was hot & wrong, but because of the long wait to order & to get our food we didn't want to have to wait more longer getting the correct food. Hopefully the people that are packing up the orders pay more close attention so that they don't get a hangry person come back to complain about their wrong order. Other than that the service was very good.

Aside from the food tasting not as well as I remember a few years back, it’s still good. That and combined with the fact that the portions are much smaller than they used to be, is why I’m giving the food 3 stars. Employees were great and did what they could despite the very large order they were given, along with other orders that came after mine. Also, would recommend not getting a combo bowl with veggies. Seems like whenever there’s vegetable in play, there’s also less meat. Maybe just get a guidon (beef bowl) and call it a day. So all in all, place is alright if you’re looking for a fast food version of Japanese food.

So we stopped here to grab a bite to eat as our son is located in a hospital right around the corner fighting for his life. We ordered our food and the young man that was taking orders seemed to refuse to give us our food, the gentleman that actually fixed the food had to come around the corner and give us the food. By the time we got here to the house we noticed there were no condiments in it no Ginger no teriyaki sauce. Overall it was not a good experience for us and we probably won't be returning my husband felt that there was racism involved in the food not being given to us in a timely manner.

I really like Yoshinoya, but this location always seems to be dirty inside, trash cans overflowing, dirty restrooms trash on tables or floors, If they don't care about basic cleanliness outside of the kitchen I doubt they are clean in the food preparation area either

Not the greatest Yoshinoya I've been to, the quality has definitely declined and the lines have gotten longer. I believe this is due to a lack of staff it always seems like there's only two people working there

I feel like this Yoshinoya is very inconsistent, what I mean by that is sometimes I go and everything goes smoothly, great customer service and service time. Other times the customer service is lacking and the service time can take over twenty minutes. My family loves chicken and rice so we will continue to go to this location especially since it's less than five minutes from our house. But I would recommend however that management does a better job of creating a consistent customer service and service time.

They're slipping again. Got some hard rice today. Dangerously hard for teeth. Just as an FYI it's better to use too much water than too little and for rice to be too soft rather than too hard. If Yoshinoya has trouble training its employees, it shouls err on the side of caution. Also, the Tokyo fried chicken was dry.

Not sure what Sonia's title is, but she was rude, loud to the kitchen staff, all the customers could hear her complained to the cooks, as she ranted on for minutes. She needs training. No complaints about food. Because of Sonia I gave it a 2 instead of a 4.

Well not so happy this was my second time going to yoshinoya in general, I really don’t go to this restaurant, but today I felt like the customer service wasn’t good and the food is to little for the price, also i don’t know if it was the teriyaki sauce or the chicken but I tasted burned. Hope they can do better.

It's usually good but the last two times it was sooo bad. The food tasted old. The only reason I went last time is because I was hoping I was wrong, but it was so bad it almost made me never want to go to any yoshinoya ever again. The customer service was great but it didn't make up for the food!

Very disappointed at the food quality and portion size. Ordered large beef bowl and beef was nothing but fat and stringy, but the chintzy amount compared to the large combo chicken vegetable bowl I also ordered was unbelievable. Can't anyone use common sense and make proper portions for the Huge cost we pay ?

I come up from San Diego everyday and pretty much try to stop here for lunch for the last year. The people are friendly and the service is usually top notch but yesterday I stopped in, I'm the only customer in the store and it took 10 minutes to get my order. I don't have that much time it's 3 hours to get back to my company in San Diego during rush hour, needless to say I just threw the order away and won't be back I don't intend on paying $9 for food having to transport it for 3 hours then microwave it just to have dinner. There are other options for me to get lunch.

This location is going bad to worse. The service has been declining little by little. It took a while to just to take my order in which I ordered a combo and Silvia the cashier forgot my soda I had to ask twice so she could give my cup to me. Tables and floor so sticky and dirty. I hope they improve their situation because I really like this fast food and beside this is the closest location to where I live.

Ordered a pick up order for 7:55 I parked and try to go inside to pick up my food since drive thru had a line and both doors were closed I was not trying to wait in line for a pick up on that case I would had just order on drive thru, I called the store about 3 times no one pick up the phone I gave up and went to drive thru waited over 20 minutes to get my food i left drive thru around 8:21 why they don’t take off the online ordering if you have to get on drive thru any way ?? but at least post a sign or something.. is not right I went on 07/11

Today's visit was OK but the older Latina assistant manager has a bad attitude/chip on her shoulders at times, is short when taking an order, inputs things that are not requested, & has taken her sweet time in answering the drive-thru speaker. The wait in the Drive-Thru line was 15 minutes . I was completely blocked in and could not leave. I had not had any food from this restaurant before. I tried the teriyaki chicken and beef. I wanted the steak but they were out of it. The beef was disgusting. I don't think you can really call it beef. The chicken was pretty gross too. Only good thing were the steamed vegetables. Never going back again. They also did not have unsweetened tea.

I got half and half chicken & beef w white rice and vegetables and the beef was so soggy and cold. The plate was sloppy and skimpy. They didnt even fill up the whole plate with rice and meat. they were so stingy with it. On top of that the egg rolls had no flavor what so ever . Today's date &time: 10:15p sat. Dec 28,2024 Hey just wanted to advise others this location is not open until 12midnite. Even tho Google maps AND the restaurant location phone number states they're open until 12midnite. I drove from another location because that Yoshinoya location closed at 10pm. I was extremely disappointed for a bogus drive out here for nothing. Please change ur advertised hours. This location closes at 10pm. 🤦🤷

I want to update my review because I dont know whats going on with this location. The last time I was here they forgot to add my udon noodles I paid a $1 extra for and now they're skimping out on sauces (which is the main reason why i eat the food). I used to love this location but its been going down. The one on Atlantic seems to hit it everytime. Ive attached a picture here so you can see the half filled sauce. Its even worse when you pay for extra sauce. FILL IT TO THE TOP. So disappointing because the customer service is great.

The portion sizes have suddenly been cut in half. Previously, the Tokyo Fried Chicken came with six pieces, but now it only comes with three. The size of the food containers has also shrunk by more than 20%, yet the prices remain the same. On top of that, the service is getting worse. At this rate, this Yoshinoya is bound to shut down. I’ll try another Yoshinoya, and if it’s the same there, I won’t be going to Yoshinoya anymore.

Second time coming here, food is good customer service not so good, employees sound very unhappy dont pay attention to the person they're helping out BIGGEST annoyance was both times we ask for extra ginger they only gave us five total so we had to keep asking, each time they'd just give about three gingers. I was a shift manager at a yoshinoya once and it was never a problem to hand a customer 20 or 30 gingers for two or three plates. Update giozas are always burnt, overcooked, reheated idk but they're gross

We went through the drive-thru. The girl who took my order nice. She was about to add some teriyaki sauce to my bowl because I forgot to ask for it at the speaker. But, she was stooped by SARAH who took my CC back after I had already paid to charge me an extra $0.65 for sauce. The first girl even asked SARAH why she was going to charge me, when SARAH said "I need to charge them." When I asked why she charged me when other places don't usually charge for a little extra sauce in the bowl, she said they all should have charged me extra. Suffice to say she was not pleasant. I feel bad for her those that have to work with her. You need some customer service training Sarah, even if you were supposed to charge, don't be rude about it. I'll drive to the Norwalk location next time. BTW: No complaints about the food. It was delicious.

We went through the drive thru at 10 at night and we waited 15 minutes for our order because they supposedly had to cook the shrimp and the steak... Got home and the shrimp which is supposed to be served in a sweet hot sauce had NONE and it was supposedly made fresh then why were the shrimp OLD AND DRY and the freshly made steak was chewy and had ZERO flavor... Drive thru lady was friendly, that was the only good thing about this place...

I genuinely feel like I was ripped off. $6.29 rice bowl ended up being $8.31 they have hidden charges for everything and it's not clearly presented on the menu. I ordered steak so there was an up charge for that, fried rice.. Another up charge! Then I pick up my food and ask for teriyaki sauce and they wanted another $0.60!! I about blew my top. Avoid this place! Go to L&L Hawaiian BBQ or WABA where they actually give you teriyaki sauce for free and give you a decent portion. L&L's portions are so big that it becomes three meals for me. WABA will be at least 2 meals. This place despite spending so much money was the tiniest portion imaginable. Never coming back!

First off she got our order wrong and even confirmed it to us and made us repeat hella times, the I had to go all the way back in the long and wait to order one bowl which I should’ve gotten awhile before, secondly when I was waiting for the bowl the white Mexican lookin lady was very rude!!! All I was doing was checking to see if that was my food on the counter and she went up to me very fast saying “no that’s not your food step away” acting like im trying to steal it, the Audicity she even has to treat me like that after what I had already dealt with they need new employees fr fr, and NOT JUST THAT litteraly my bowls of food were filled less than half of the container !! Crazy

They got my order completely wrong after confirming my order and even telling me it would be extra for the premium beef and noodles. When I came back they wanted to charge me instead of making the return to fix their mistakes. The workers seemed really unhappy to help me.

The only reason on why I’m rating this location a star it’s because I want to share my experience… host Kenya at the drive seemed annoyed with a bad attitude while she was taking my order. When she took my payment she grabbed my card in a bad way I asked to speak to the manager and the only thing she told me is that she will talk to her. I’m not sure if ppl there get trained on customer service but if the don’t… they should. My experience was at this one restaurant this one time past experiences at this location have been good.

Very disappointed. I ordered combo with light rice. I added the drink and spring rolls to make it a meal. Was never asked about a side order (I was given vegetables but wanted cole slaw (this was corrected at the window) they gave me the normal amount of rice and was told to just throw the extra away. When I got home there were no spring rolls

Yoshinoya is one of my favorite places to eat, i no longer live in the area and it is now in Palm springs so when I had the chance i made sure to visit a yoshinoya but this particular yoshinoya is different , the rice is over watered and it made everything else tasted bad and plus there's something about the teriyaki sauce it's just not the same and the music that crew was playing is not very nice to listen to while you're eating (punk rock music) I just wanted to leave right away and not to mention that I spent $65.00 on my food, I ordered 4 extra combo and ten extra sauce plus I also tried the new chicken but that chicken was nowhere near close to the picture (it was burnt) I feel bad for everyone else who goes here.

I'm being here two times already and the service was really bad, to be honest I'll not going back to this place. I was there just yesterday and a customer get in just couple of minutes before me,she place an order for about 30 people, I just order three small clam chowders soups, and take 30 mints to process my order, the manager should process the small orders first or in the order that received them, but no even the dash driver have to wait for a long time,that was ridiculous....but no more going to this store no organization skills from the person in charge!!

He ordered two bowls she stay quiet and he said “hello?” my husband is very calm She then rudely replied “I’m waiting on you” then he said he wanted one beef and she then said rudely again “we’ll it comes with two meats” As if he works at yoshinoya and is supposed to know that. Bad representation of the brand, not accommodating or helpful, made us feel unwanted.

OMG !!! First off the line was long as hell because the dining was closed at 9 when the web said 10. When I finally get to order they said there out of Beef but they have every thing else. Really That is what You guys are known for that's what made you yoshinoya!!! Such a disappointment All the way around!!!

Really slow. Messed up the order, even after I asked them to verify it when I picked it up. Lots of employees there (5), but none of them were working. Franchise owner is getting screwed, along with the customers. Only reason I'll be going back is to have my money refunded!

If I could give this restaurant -5 stars, I would. The food? Well, what food? What they serve at this particular Yoshinoya chain is not "food"! It is disgusting inedible pieces of garbage served on a platter. Seriously this place has been serving disgusting food for years now. I do not know how in the world their chefs still haven't learned how to cook the food properly. I went there on 12/12/24, after not having eaten here and years. I ordered a combo bowl consisting of gyudon been and Tokyo fried chicken. As soon as I ordered it, I knew it in my gut it was a mistake. The so-called pieces of fried chicken were so overfried and burnt, that it had black spots of burnt up batter all over it. It was so dark that it looked like it had been fried in 6-month old cooking oil. The gyudon beef tasted nothing like at the other Yoshinoya locations that I've been to and they literally put absolutely no broth over the rice. Who the hell is supposed to eat such garbage? I went into the restaurant to request a refund but I was told that since I ordered in the app, that I had to handle it in the app. As far as I can see, there's no option to complain about the service and quality of food and request a refund. I left that BS with the employees at the counter. Please do yourself a favor and save your money and NEVER eat here!!

Me and my friend have been going here almost everyday after an intense workout in planet fitness for months now, we both needed something healthy and best for our wallets, and it was good for a while until Friday October 25 2024 when the night manager Juan give me and my friend who is handicap with cerebral palsy a threating tone to get out of the store when we were already eating, the cashier named Angel was nice enough to let us eat in the dinning room prior, however. we have been eating in the dinning room almost everyday at night after a workout and this is how your managers treat customers? I think not! We are taking our business to Carl's Jr. next door where we are treated with respect and dignity. We demand an apology both written and email from Juan the manager of this place as well after his unwelcoming tone to us. For more context: they didn't tell us to order it to go when they were gonna lock up the doors, they always give us our food in boxes or bowls without a tray during the night as well, we were loyal customers until now. P.s, promote and give angel a promotion for good service and kindness, fire Juan indefinitely

The cashier Tattiana was not friendly. She was not helpful with letting the customer choose options. I asked a question and it so happened at the same time that she was about to talk, she said “I was going to say but you interrupted me!” I was not expecting that for someone working in customer service.

The WORST YOSHINOYA!! “Closed” At 10pm NOPE! By 9:30 it’s closed! And to make matters worse decided to give them another try and little to no meat and rice in my order! Do you guys charge by the pound or what!?

Honestly i felt very uncomfortable and disrespected on the drive through just now . I was trying to place an order on drive thru , i understand the speaker might not be working maybe idk to be honest , but she began to give me an attitude over the drive thru speaker, ive came here many times and noone has ever been rude or raised their voice at me in anyway like this. I dont know what her problem is but i didnt even say anything rude or with a bad tone as i avoid all conflict . all i wanted to do was complete my order and continue with my day . as she proceeded to act this way i just said cancel my order and said i wont be treated like this and took off . I wish you guys could hear the audio.

Avoid Yoshinoya Before Closing – You’ve Been Warned If you value basic decency, edible food, and being treated like a human being, do not make the mistake of ordering from this Yoshinoya anywhere near closing time. I made that unfortunate decision and was met with an experience so appalling it deserves a public service announcement. From the moment I walked in, it was clear the staff had mentally clocked out. I was greeted with an eye-roll, not a hello. The dining area looked like a war zone—tables uncleaned, trash bins overflowing, and a general aura of "we don’t care anymore." I should have turned around right then, but foolishly I placed my order. What followed was a masterclass in passive-aggressive indifference. My food was slapped together with the care of someone angrily quitting their job. The beef was dry, cold, and stringy like it had been sitting under a heat lamp since lunch. The rice was clumpy, and the vegetables were clearly from a batch that had given up on life hours ago. I’m not even convinced what I was served would’ve passed health inspection standards. When I dared to ask for napkins or, god forbid, a lid for my drink, I was met with the kind of disdain you'd expect if I had insulted their ancestors. The cashier literally sighed at me—audibly sighed—for interrupting her phone scrolling. Yoshinoya corporate needs to take a serious look at what’s happening during late-night shifts because this isn’t just “bad service”—it’s hostile negligence. I left feeling like I needed to shower, not just from the grease but from the overall grime of the experience. Bottom line: if you see that the location is closing within the hour, do yourself a favor and eat anywhere else—even a gas station microwave burrito would be less soul-crushing.

Seriously the worst rice bowl I have ever had. The meat had a funny flavor and the rice taste like it was cooked with the meat. I would skip this place and eat elsewhere, three bites and my stomach is upset. The only thing my kids enjoyed was the music.
