I arrived at Peet's at 10:15 AM on Tuesday, so the store wasn't busy. I approached the second cash register like I do at the downtown location I frequent. The cashier came to the first register and started helping an Asian male before assisting me. When I told her he cut the line, she ignored me. The employee, a woman in her twenties wearing an army shirt, had a loud voice and seemed phony friendly. She then asked for my name, but I explained that she could see it in the app. She insisted that was not true, even though other Peet's locations always recognized me by name. She then accused me of being loud, despite her speaking like an army general. Overall, the experience with this woman was very unpleasant, leading me to rate the service one star. So I looked for top rated coffee in Evanston and found one the Backlot Caffee where they attended to me immediately, they welcomed me as a new customer and the employees were genuinely friendly. Much better than the unfriendly army woman at Petts Evanston :)

Once *was the best Peet's. Service *was friendly, atmosphere was warm and inviting. Still has lovely 180' big window views outside - which are especially nice when snowing. *Edit: management has changed hands and all the great staff that made this place a second home for me are gone.

No curbside pick up option. Most chains offer this in lieu of a drive thru.

This place used to be one of my favorite coffee shops. But times have changed and it has turned into something similar to a cheap coworking. People buy a cup of coffee and sit there all day working on a laptop. All the seats are constantly occupied. It's a pity that they don't have time limits like in many other cafes. I don't go there anymore

The most rude and irresponsible employees especially the person who makes the coffee . She is absolutely rude and purposely slow . She shows she hates her job her name is Melinda. She should not be working on busy hours especially in the morning. Management please consider it.

The service was normal up until today. When I was ordering my drink, my wait time wasn't the issue as the woman who made my drink explained, so I had no issue. When she called my name to hand the drink to me, I was in front of her so I assumed in any social interaction she would simple hand me my coffee. Instead, while my hands we're out to get my coffee, she puts it on the table below my hands so I can pick it up instead. The woman is extremely rude. She's the one who makes the drinks. It literally happened this morning.

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE! EMPLOYEES OR THE DRIVER ATE HALF OF MY DOORDASH ORDER! I ordered 1 coffee, 2 cheese frittatas, 2 bacon frittatas, and 1 pack of Mighty Leaf tea. The total through Doordash was $63 including $8 tip. The bag was sealed and when I opened it bacon frittatas were missing! I got a refund from the Doordash (still pending though), and called the location and when I said my name the person was like: "Yeah?", as she already knew what's up! She said to request the refund through the app and when I started asking so you guys sealed the bag right, just trying to figure who took the food, she said: "I don't know what happened there..." Or something like that. Oh I'm sure YOU KNOW if I request cameras footage! I doubt the driver took it (although it's possible to undo the staples and take out food and then staple the bag back), I'm pretty sure employees ate my food because they know Doordash has plenty of money of refunds and they are not going to get caught. If they didn't take it, they should at least seal the bag better than putting 2 staples at the very edges of the top of the bag so anyone can literally slip their hand in there. WILL NOT ORDER AGAIN FROM THESE THIEFS!

I am a regular at this location. I keep coming back because I like the coffee but the staff is oftentimes very rude. This morning was clearly not a good morning for Stephanie. First, she was rude to the woman in front of me and then she loudly yelled at her coworker when I pointed out that I ordered oat milk, not whole milk. I don’t consume dairy. She went on to complete three orders that came in after mine before remaking my drink. I will likely use up my reward points and go somewhere in the future.

This was once the best Peet’s location. I’m not sure what happened or if everyone woke up on the wrong side of the bed. But within the past couple of months, the hours are not consistent. They are incredibly rude any time I walk in. And they also do not know how to make a frappe or cappuccino! There is either so much sugar or so little with too much coffee. Either way, it is too expensive to not have a decent drink. The flavour is never consistent. Service and customer support (online number) is terrible. I asked for my cappuccino to be remade not too long ago and they looked at me like a deer in headlights as if they couldn’t accommodate.

I really really love this coffee. Ok in the last 4 months I have ordered 3 ice Carmel mach. Everyday for my employees. In 6 days of being open I may get 2 made correct a week. But today is it for me. I ordered 3 they all look different and they all taste like coffee with cream not sweet or anything.
