Main Street Farm Parksville Reviews
absolutely the best baguettes--I always stop by when going upstate. Very good sandwiches for people who like fresh, clean flavors. (can range from blander which I enjoy to way too salty) A lot of local and artisanal products. Lovely space.
We love browsing interesting and unique products, and simplicity is key for me. Local, real and easy to pronounce are the ingredients we get behind. This place had a little bit of everything, and maybe had it all. I reference Yuka or the Bobby Approved apps when I'm shopping, so to see that many of their offerings were highly rated made me feel comfortable at the market. We didn't get a chance to try any of the freshly prepared items from their cafe…but a variety of sauces, syrups, oils, produce, cheese and drinks had me like a kid in a candy store, next door. Some comic relief on their product labels, too.
Obsessed with this place! I can’t believe we found a store that has everything we want and need in the Catskills. Cafe is great- really good coffee and drinks and delicious sandwiches. I recommend the Farmstead. Staff are nice and super helpful. And then the market- excellent selection of local produce, cheeses, eggs and beer and cider. And then lots of other great grocery items that makes it one stop shopping! Definitely visit when you are in the Catskills.
Great little spot that offers a nice variety of freshly prepared food and drinks. I got the vegan Reuben, kale white bean soup and the oatmeal raisin cookie. All three were delicious, the sandwich seemed a little pricey but it was a good size portion. It was very charming inside and very cozy. A lot of people sipping coffee and doing work on their laptops while we were there. They also had a large variety of groceries to choose from and seem to cater to a wide variety of dietary preferences/needs.
What a great place to grab gourmet breakfast and go shopping for unique local food. Upscale place to find anything you need and want; love their selection of beers and wine, cheese, local trout, sauces from around the world, produce, local honey, granola and jams. Endless amounts of goodies! They also have outdoor seating in the back, overlooking the water. Beautiful store to stop by at Livingston Manor.
What a find! We ordered the scramble with mushrooms, spinach, and cheese. It was so delicious, freshly prepared. I was blown away! Instead of bread it was served with a lovely salad with a slightly sweet dressing! So delicious. If you’re in a rush this place is not for you. But there’s plenty to look at while waiting for your food to be prepared. Fresh produce, local beer, delicacies, and bath products! I would have liked a smile when greeted but I didn’t want to take a star away for that! Also there is seating inside, outside in front and back!
If I could rate this place higher, I would! The shop inside is a little pricey but the quality is amazing! So many cool things in there. The main star in my opinion is the cafe side. The sandwiches and soup were so good! Jeffery (I think that was his name, apologizes if not!) was soooo awesome. Super sweet guy. Theres a nice area you can eat out outback that is right on the stream. cant wait to stop back in the next time im in the area.
Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but don’t let that fool you - it’s a full blown grocery and souvenir store, as well as a place to get coffee, breakfast and sandwiches. And it’s good at that, too. The iced latte coffees we got were among some of the best in the whole area, and the prices, while not cheap, were adequate. We didn’t get food, but the menu definitely is enticing. Where this place really shines is its astoundingly huge selection of grocery and other goods, almost all exclusively sourced from locals. Honey, maple syrup, beer, vegetables, meats, pasta, spices, cheese, souvenirs, shirts… it offers something for everyone, and you’ll leave with the good feeling of supporting local businesses. Definitely worth a stop, if just to gaze at their selection of goods.
I guess this is the only cafe in the town. This is actually a cafe cum market and they sell a lot of nice organic produce and other groceries at the store as well. There is a nice seat area at the back facing the river, but it was pretty cold when he visited, so he chose to sit inside. I got the iced vanilla latte, which was pretty good, but nothing out the world and the cider doughnut which was very light and phenomenal. My friends liked their drinks as well. we also got a trout sandwich, which was pretty good. The groceries here are obviously a little bit more expensive given that it’s organic. I would rather buy stuff from the nearby supermarket. But definitely recommend coming for your caffeine hit.
I have 2 opinions. Store wise, absolutely beautiful. It has a great selection of local products and everything is very high quality. Customer service wise, terrible. There was no acknowledgement when I walked into the store, when I was browsing the store (wasn’t asked if I had questions) or when I was leaving. When I walked in, I received some looks from one of the 3 staff members in the store standing behind the cafe counter, but no hello or even smile. The staff were all in their own business talking to each other, not noticing the customers around. Not pleased!
Worst food I’ve had in a long time! The bread was rock hard and even tasted stale (mind you it was a heated up sandwich) the steak was dry thin shavings and the potatoes tasted like grill cleaner. I’ve ate here for years regularly- NEVER AGAIN! Wasted $30+ and added time to an already rough drive. Just so wasn’t worth it.
They have lots of nice options and the food is fine. The atmosphere and staff are nice too. However we waited for over an hour for our food. 30 minutes in we checked on things and they said they were working on it. 60 minutes in we checked again and they hadn’t even started making the food. They didn’t offer anything to apologize or make it up to us. They also charged us for something we didn’t order and didn’t refund us. Really awful experience.
