Shogun Pasadena Reviews
My friends and I had a great time , the food and service was fantastic, Cristina was our server and she was great. The cook has talent and made the experience memorable. Thanks Osvaldo " Top Chef "👨🍳 Sally the manager was great too! thanks alot, will definitely recommend and return 👍
Wanted to give a shoutout to the manager. They gave the best service I've had at any restaurant in a long time. Was extremely generous, and the food was great. Will come back again soon.
Shogun is one of the best dining establishments in Pasadena. Not only is the food ALWAYS prepared to perfection, but the wait staff is so accommodating and attentive, and it's always a good time being in there on a Friday/Saturday night! On our most recent visit (with a toddler and a 1-year-old) the wait staff was so on top of it! They brought the kids drinks with lids, extra miso soup, and white rice without even being asked. Rita is the best server ever and the chefs always do an amazing job with any modifications (like no butter). This is honestly our favorite restaurant to go to as a family, and the quantity of food is always MORE than enough!
I’ve been in Okinawa for 5 years and this was by far the best burger I’ve had here ! Food is amazing and the place is super clean ! Super unique sauces too. Definitely recommend 🙌🏽
Brooklyn was great, had a good holiday party
Our server Rika, and our cook Tom were AMAZING. Super friendly, funny, engaging and entertaining. Fantastic atmosphere, food and people. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend!
Place was delicious and the chefs were entertaining. Service was good. Food was a bit pricey, but it is Los Angeles. Would eat here again. Love the YUM YUM sauce.
I came with my mom for Mother’s Day and we had the yakisoba and it was so good I ate everything and it was a lot of food too! The smoothies are nice and refreshing. It was cool to see the chef play with fire :0 we had so much fun! Edit: So I came here again to celebrate my graduation but I came during the day and the atmosphere was different and less appealing. I recommend you come at night for a better experience. I had the same dish but this time it was saltier. But the cake I had for dessert was delicious. I took a star off for service only because I asked for a water and never got it. Luckily I had my mango smoothie so I’m not mad.
The food was delicious, and the chef was a comic. We had lots of fun over a wonderful dinner - celebrating a graduation.
This place is getting more and more expensive. But you can't beat the taste of food here. 6 people, $350 with tip, (no alcohol). But again, I just love the food. The service for drinks got behind a little and I had to ask for more rather than be asked .... But, did I mention how good the food is here? They also don't put on the show as well as they did 20 years back, but we like to come here at least twice a year for birthdays.... Everything is great here, steaks, shrimp, fish, chicken, everything!
Shogun is always an awesome treat. Hubby and I took the kiddos (2 & 1) for lunch and they loved it! The staff is so kind and engaging with the little ones.
the food was great as always. They must have been short staffed because it took a long time for our chef to get our food going, but once he did, everything was great.
The food and service were amazing, the environment was loud but it can be a fun element. The hibachi cooks are very entertaining and do an amazing job of cooking everything. I had the sushi combo (seared salmon roll and shrimp tempura roll) and the crispy rice and everything was amazing.
The food was amazing, the drinks were fabulous and the chef was a blast to watch. We hadn't been in almost 10 years but it definitely won't be that long again!!
Our server Brooklyn was extremely helpful and had excellent communication and service I highly recommend her as your server. 😊
The server and cook were awesome. The food is amazing. This restaurant is so much cleaner than the other Shoguns I've been to. Totally recommend going to the pasadena location.
Always a great experience at Pasadena Shogun. We frequently dine here.We choose to get a regular table rather than "the show." Gilbert is awesome....attentive, friendly and funny. Food is always great. Highly recommend..

Fun time to be had here. The food was fresh and extremely flavorful. I got the shrimp, scallops, and fillet mignon hibachi. Oh, so tender. I took most of it home. I made the mistake of ordering and appetizer soup and salad. Rookie mistake. The next day, it was still so good, I definitely recommend this place for the family dinner, celebration, or date night.

Normally, I think of Shogun as a place to go to celebrate something. Today I went for lunch on a Sunday and I gotta tell you they have such a great deal. They have a lunch special every day of the week if your feeling like Teppanyaki. Super healthy with meats, vegetables, a salad or soup and rice. And if you’re alone or in a small group and don’t wanna sit at a teppan table, you can sit at a regular table and they’ll bring the beautiful set to you. Gilbert was very attentive and made my eating experience all the better.
Very good experience. Could have had more seasoning on the food but all good.
Delicious food and quick service, but tried to over seat the table and we had couldnt get the table show.
Amazing food, great entertainment from the chefs! This was our second time dining at this restaurant, and once again it exceeded every expectation. Our family gathered to celebrate our son’s birthday, a party of 14, and we were treated with such warmth and care from the moment we arrived. The service was exceptional, our waiter was genuinely friendly, attentive, and made sure every detail was perfect for our celebration. When they sang Happy Birthday to our son, it filled the room with joy and made us, as parents, feel truly grateful for the experience. We had an amazing time, and this restaurant has definitely become one of our family’s favorite places to celebrate special moments.
Been dining here for many years and never dissapoints! Good food. Both the restaurant side and the show are awesome with good service.
I have been coming here since I was a little girl. Today was the very first time I've ever had a negative vibe. I called ahead to make reservations but ran about 10 mins late due to traffic. We had to wait about 40-50 minutes before we finally got seated. I was very disappointed the way the host & hostesses handled their waiting list. However, as we were leaving the manager; Taylor Vela apologized for the long delay and handed us a certificate for a free dinner. I really appreciate him going above & beyond to gain our business back. I truly love bringing my family here and love the food and ambiance Shogun, Pasadena has to offer. Thank you Taylor for keeping me & my family loyal Shogun costumers! We've only been coming here for 20+ years, :)
Chief Daniel was so awesome, shout out to him, he’s been working at Shogun nearly 40 years!! It was really nice to sit down and dine, and it was when I first experienced it that I began to understand their motto “come for the show, come back for the taste”:) The food exceeded my expectations, it tasted SO much better than it looked, and also shout out to supervisor Rafa who took good care of me, he was server at my table (even sneaked me an extra miso soup lol). I love it here, would definitely come back with a friend!
Tom was our chef for my family and he was exceptional! He made us laugh and the food was so delicious! Coming back just for him 😁
Shout out to our cook tom! . He was the man. Definitely made up for our server being bunk. We will definitely come back after the experience tom gave us.
Great food, great atmosphere, and our server Shinnoi took care of us very well. We were never left wanting. He made sure our appetite was sated, our drinks were full, and we were good with every aspect of the service. Definitely recommend.
Shogun is always a great place to eat! The food, the cooks, and the ambiance are always great. A tip to the cooks: You are playing a Martin Garrix's song from when he was 17. The guy is 29-32, and he has new and really good music. Try it! Other than this! You are the best! 🙌🫶🙌😁
I’ve been to this place a bunch of times but never made a review about it. It is a lot like Benihana but the food seems to be about the same. The wait staff was very attentive and prompt when we first got there. We ordered drinks and the meal to which the drinks came out fast and strong. The guy came out and served up a great meal on the grill with all the flair. The food was good as we ordered ribeye, scallops, chicken, shrimp, chicken fried rice, vegetables, and miso soup. My wife even ran into an old childhood friend there which made the night that much better. I would definitely recommend going to this place. It’s great for birthdays, anniversaries, or just a regular date night.
Always a good time at the classic Shogun. Came right around 12 pm on a Thursday, wasn't very crowded at all. As a matter of fact there was only one other grill that was full. We were seated right away along with another group. The waitstaff was very friendly and thorough when it came to ordering and remember any dietary restrictions the table had. I hadn't been here in many many years and the food was just as good as I remembered. The chef was great and entertaining and the birthday desserts were amazing! A long time fan who will be back.
Came here for impromptu dinner with mom and sis, wait time was 20+ mins after 4pm - understandable, because this place is bustling. Dinner was delicious and entertaining! The chef, was so funny and younger than most I’ve had the pleasure to watch. He refreshed the show that’s put on 🤩 the server was also great - very personable, attentive and accommodating. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience.
I ordered the Genji combination (Seafood), which consists of Shrimp, Scallops, Calamari Steak and Lobster. It came with fried rice and I also ordered Sushi. My food was pretty good. 4.4 stars. My Lobster was the highlight. It was tasty. Good flavor. I want to order that again. I would come back for sure.

Great food. Great show We had a fun time for lunch. price was excellent. We love going to shogun
This place looks nice, we'll kept, clean... Very similar to Benihana's. Came here on a Sunday afternoon, parking was difficult. Ended up parking at in the Trader Joe's parking lot... Don't know if that's allowed or not but it worked out for us. We had a large party and they sat us right on time per our reservation. Usually at a place like this for a party our size they'll have two chefs cooking at the same time, but for some reason they had one chef come in first and cook for one side (half our group), then once they were fully served they brought out another chef to cook for our side (other half of our group). So there was a lot of waiting on both sides. The food was good, not great... Though their mushroom soup was very good. I'll be honest, I didn't appreciate the way they cooked for half of us at a time, but the server was very attentive and friendly, and the cook was very personable and entertaining. I don't think it's as good as Benihana's, but I'd be willing to give it another shot.
nice family place attentive staff too much pepper on the food, I should have thought to say something
Food? (IMAT - It'll make a terd). That's about it. Someone get these people some spices. Not bad enough to avoid, however, don't turn the car up on 2 wheels trying to take the exit to get to it. I'll tell ya this, the place has music loud enough that I first thought I was clubbing, and then it hit me, it was Tuesday at lunch. Got me all confused, but made a flash of youth run thru me as well. So, bring your clubbing clothes and chopsticks, let's eat!
We made a reservation in the afternoon for seating the same night and were seated very quickly after we arrived. Service was very prompt and all of the food was very tasty.
Fun spot. Good show. Food was as expected!
Nice place, expect to spend some cash, they have a pretty good happy hour and okay for kids the cooks really entertained the children 😊
Food is okay, The wait is kind of long at some point we felt stranded at our table, but we get it there was a lot of other people and tables to attend. I most likely wont go back.
Definitely will have to go back to check this location out to give it five stars. Being it was valentines day it was super busy and the dinning area was super packed. The ventilation system was not the best it was pretty smokey in there. But over all it was a good time the cook was amazing and had a good show and the food tasted great. The service was good really didn't have to wait for much. I'll return on a non busy day and time.
Been coming for years. The food is always solid. Great steaks and seafood. We got pasta and potatoes this time which was a little weird. We will ask for no pasta (linguini) next time. Rika is the best server. We really enjoy her!!
My wife and I visited Shogun in Pasadena, CA, to celebrate New Year's Eve and her birthday — it was a special occasion for us! We were seated promptly, and the waiter came by quickly to take our order and bring our drinks. We waited about 30 minutes for the chef to arrive and begin the show, which felt a bit long, but once he started, it was worth it. The chef was funny, polite, and clearly a good person overall — he really made the experience enjoyable and entertaining. He reviewed our order, asked a few clarifying questions, and then proceeded with the full hibachi performance. I ordered the filet mignon, and my wife got the steak, along with an order of fried rice and vegetables. The show and service were solid, and we left mostly satisfied with the fun atmosphere. That said, there were a couple of disappointments with the food. My filet mignon didn't taste like the classic simple preparation I was expecting — it had a noticeable soy sauce flavor, and it came out well done instead of the rare I wanted (I prefer just salt, black pepper, and a nice sear). The fried rice also felt a bit dry and overcooked. Overall, it was a memorable evening thanks to the chef's personality and the celebratory vibe, but next time I'd make sure to clearly emphasize the desired doneness and seasoning preferences when ordering. It's a great spot for the show and special occasions — just double-check your steak preferences with the chef!
I have been coming here for 30 plus years. Food and service has always been great. That is until last week. There was food service change that I can't agree with. They added complimentary yakisoba noodles that felt out of a place and were not that great. For the vegetables, they added broccoli, which wouldnt be that terrible if it was cooked well, and mini potatoes. I am not sure if the chefs are not used to cooking these new items, but the new selections felt out of place and would prefer if they didn't offer them.
I love this restaurant I’ve been going since I was a kid and now that we have moved away I still come every time we are in town. With that being said I don’t really understand the new updates they made on the menu. They added noodles (linguine pasta) and potatoes. Both of which do not make sense when you’re already getting rice. Broccoli was a nice addition though. I know the prices have gone up too which is fine, I think everyone expects this due to inflation and it’s nice they’re trying to beef up the entree to make up for it but truly it doesn’t make sense and feels like a waste.
I find Shogun to be a really enjoyable meal. I definitely felt the pinch in my pocketbook at the end of the meal...ouch.. but that is just me. It was crowded but not too much as we waited a mear 12 minutes for the whole of our party to arrive and a station to be cleared. My only real complaint is that the dinner "show" (can't recall the correct terminology) is dated . The food is cooked well. The service is above sufficient, and for a special occasion, I'd say to definitely give them a go.
Have not eaten at Shogun in a few years. Sign on the door said under new ownership and it was apparent. prices were obviously higher. Staff seemed unseasoned. The teppanyaki chefs were underwhelmin…
Very entertaining and good quality of food but expensive. I celebrated many birthdays there and had tons of memories and fun.
great experience! \nchef and server were nice, service was great. no long waits, lots of attentiveness. chef was so entertaining!!\n\nfood was okay, i guess i expected more flavor? lemon chicken …
Our chef Tree was rude and kept repeating everything my family would say it was quite annoying. We went for a birthday but there was not really happy given the service from the chef. They even forgot to cook the birthday boys Filet Mignon. We were a large party of 16 so we spent quite a large amount of money. And it's Sad we didn't get the service we deserved. The food was not that great either very bland. The waitresses were nice though. Everything else not.
I think the food and service was great. Delicious food and ample parking. But I’m knocking it down because of the way they handled my nephews allergy. He has many allergies and while the server was proactive and lead by asking if there was any allergies the cook didn’t seem to take it seriously. Mom asked for the kids meal (chicken Teriyaki, white rice and veggies) be prepped in the back, server agreed. Upon the arrival of the cook who did the show the allergies were mentioned again. In this case he can’t have any butter (dairy allergy) and while the cook did prep it separately on the main area he did use the same spatula that he used to grab the butter and cook the rest of chicken and meats and shrimp. It was wiped down by once again the same cloth/ towel used by the rest of the food. So again the food was good but I wished they’d taken his allergies more seriously he didn’t each much (he’s a kid) but by the time we were walking out he had visible red spots and hives on his checks and his chest was puffed up, so mom had to go and buy Benadryl nearby.
Restaurant was dated. Quality of ingredients so so. Had Teppan and a sushi roll for party of 3 people. The Rainbow roll was excellent with nice slices of fish draped on top. Teppan was good but not great. The chef came to the table with a nasty soiled apron....not great when you're in front and at eye level. I got the impression that the chef was a fill in as show, professionalism, food presentation and food prep was lacking. Scallops were overcooked and fried rice was soggy. Prices were high and I expected more. Service was rushed, inaccurate and marginal. Good, but not great food. Not worth the price.
The show is certainly fun but the food wasn't the best. Some dishes like the veggies were really good while others like the chicken were over cooked and over seasoned. Plus the prices were quite high. It is a fun dinner but not worth the expense and up sells
I’ve been going for 40 years. I agree with other reviews. I do not think noodles instead of sprouts was a good switch. And I did not care for the broccoli and potatoes. I wish it was the same as it used to be.
We got a gift card for Shogun for Christmas. Came here on a Sunday night. There were no wait for the regular side of the restaurant. The food was average. I have to say i had much better Japanese food before. The service was nice. Although it does look like they need more servers. Price was reasonable. Can’t say for sure I would come back tho (unless i get another gift card 😝)
We were seated immediately on mothers day with our reservation, order was taken, got drinks right away. The show was nice, not spectacular but pleasant. Food quality good. Not dry or tasteless as some have said. One pet peeve . Everything on the paper menu was $2 or 3 more than the online menu price. Bait and switch, false advertising whatever. Or call it corporate greed
I’ve been coming here 15+ years and loved everything about the place and food! But recently I think they got new management and now the new menu changes don’t justify the price increase. The new food additions like the noodles (were bland), broccoli and potatoes to the veggies are a weird combo to have. Why did they try to “fix” something that wasn’t broken ;/ Used to be my go to spot.
It was a Decent first time there, the fried rice stands out best for me personally, but the rest of the food and drinks were okay. The veggie little over cooked and the sodas flat, and the show was okay, too. Some chefs do better then others, but good to checkout at least once. The parking is free and location not too crowded. The price is up there for okay. We did a reservation, but they do take walk ins I noticed and the tables are shared unless you book private.
Great restaurant, upset over how we were treated. Have been going to showgun for years now, personally have celebrated at least 10 birthdays here. Came here for Father’s Day this year and they changed their menus in the attempt to get more money. This, along with having to wait an extra half an hour on our reservation, spoiled our experience. It’s due to the quality of food, management, and honestly, the overall feeling, keeps us coming back, but we are disappointed in the direction this restaurant is going. Back in the day, I felt a very warm loving feeling with showgun - they cared about their clientele, Now it feels sterile (hello Benihana) and just not so welcoming. Still a great restaurant just not heading in the way I would like.
Looks like this location is going thru ownership change. It was not the same this New Year's Eve. Every year restaurant was decorated, balloons throughout the bar and waiting area. This year 12/3…
So this is my favorite place to eat at for birthdays or just daily dinner plans. So I had a reservation for today dec 2nd for my dad's birthday everything was going great, even with the person who …

We haven’t been to Shogun for about a year and but every time we have been the food has been consistently good but not last night. We always have the tempura and love the dipping sauce but it doesn’t taste the same, the waitress was even nice enough to have the kitchen make us a new batch but it wasn’t good. The fried rice also wasn’t the same, I know a lot of restaurants are using cheaper ingredients to save money and I don’t know if that is the case here but for the prices they are charging I expect better. Needless to say we will not be back. The only good thing about our experience was our lovely servers.

Horrible wait time we waited over 1h 30m with reservation. We are not coming back anytime soon.
Went there on a Mon night to celebrate my son’s birthday and it was a mess. It wasn’t a busy night either which was extremely disappointing. It took over 45 mins for us to get our drinks and almost an hour for a chef to get to our table. There were tables that were seated after us that got their service before us. The chef might have been new. He dropped pieces of my husbands steak on the table, picked it up, tossed it on the grill and then tossed it on his plate. He didn’t cook my 4 year old daughters steak correctly but instead of taking all the bloody pieces back on the grill he left a couple on her plate that I removed. He didn’t do a lot of the techniques that they usually do. It was my third time eating there this week and the other two times were excellent but this time it was horrible and it was the most important time. We paid $350 for our meal for a party of 5 and left feeling very disappointed. I wanted to talk to management but at that point my husband was over it and just wanted to leave. Why would anyone think it was ok to pick up pieces of steak off the table, throw it on the grill and serve it to your customers when we pay what we do? We obviously are never coming back.
Well, I came here for my 25th Anniversary dinner. I clearly explained to the waiters I was allergic to mushrooms. So they cooked everyone's meals on the table without mushrooms, only to, in the end, make a pile of mushrooms for everyone else, which I was okay with, but they did it right in front of me. Well, the steam from the shrooms ended up in my face, and as I was trying to dodge it, I could not. Within a few minutes, my face was red, and I was getting very hot. I went to the bathroom to wash off the steam, which did help alleviate some of the symptoms. The manager eventually came out to bring me some milk to help dilute the issue, which also helped. I was told at that point they would comp my meal since they were told I was allergic, and they admitted that did cause this. I went to the car and left my wife to settle with the manager. She told me they only comp’d one meal and still charged us $117. I was still having a reaction and told her to lets go home and never come back.
Dear owners of Shoguns Pasadena, We have patronized your establishment since you’re early years a good 30 years or more. The last two visits to your establishment were horrible! Horrible in the sense that the food is been downgraded to select beef and other items that I can tell are the cheapest on the market. Whoever is making sushi in the back doesn’t know what they’re doing. It’s just not the same. Show guns has been downgraded from a five star to a one star. People who spend money understand quality of food at one time the quality of food at your Establishment was premium. After spending $450 on my family of eight, I will tell you I will never return To Shoguns , any show guns in California! Too bad! Kudos to the waitress she was phenomenal! Service was outstanding!
It was mid but accommodated a large party. It would've been nice if they told us refills were not included. Almost 200 in drink refills. Smh never coming back and we didn't Even get the full show from our cook we had 2 back to back and a third that's how large the party was about 25
Shogun used to be my favorite alternative to benihanas... Now I’ll pass on going there! Our chef literally was not in a good mood and his food shows for it. Everything was cut in big awkward sizes over cooked or not cooked enough horrible place to go with my family for Valentine’s Day and spend a few hundred dollars for a mess on my plate. Then I asked to speak to the manager and that was even more of a joke. Bottom line just got to Benihanas!
We made a reservation for 7pm for a kid birthday party but it’s 8:15pm and we are still waiting for a table and they are not guarantee the availablilty time for a table. Horrible experience specially with bunch of hangry kids waiting at over 90 degrees outside.
So i ordered sesame chicken which i assumed came with sauce cause that’s how it’s normally made. The fried rice was dry and plain needed salt. The miso soup tasted like dishwater… I’m not exaggerating. The chicken should have been more cooked if anything I’ve had way better hibachi place than this. They are very respectful over phone though!
ABOMINATION OF AN ESTABLISHMENT‼️.... We went for Father's Day( keep in mind we had RESERVATIONS) and STILL waited for an hour just to be seated......THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN A "RED FLAG"‼️.. the HOSTESS & front end staff were of no assistance ( herding everyone in just like cattle) and just answering the phone STOCKPILING MORE RESERVATIONS‼️........ FINALLY being seated and LO & BEHOLD - NO AIR CONDITIONING ‼️‼️.......How in the BLUE MOON cam you not bring in a SPECIALIST on one of the BUSIEST DAYS of the year???!!!????.......... MANAGEMENT STAFF ON HAND, HAD ABSOLUTELY NO ACCOUNTABILITY IN REGARDS TO THE FIASCO OF THE DAY!!!!......At the end of it all. ........WE WILL DEFINITELY NEVER RETURN UNLESS THEY CHANGE MANAGEMENT AND CREW‼️........ PERFECT EXAMPLE OF "BUYER BEWARE"..........PS ..... DON'T EXPECT MUCH, YOUR PEERS ,AS YOU WILL SEE, ARE THE PERFECT EXAMPLE OF THE "ELEMENTS"‼️
We had a reservation, yet were not seated and were told other guests would be let in first. Apparently, having a reservation is useless here. When we asked about the wait time, the staff initially said they couldn’t tell us. After asking again later, we were told it would be at least 30 minutes. Extremely rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. This is by far the rudest service I’ve ever experienced. Makes you seriously question how the management is running this place. Same price, average food,I’d much rather go to Benihana. Won’t be coming back.
Terrible with new ownership. arrived at 6 for reservations at 6, was told that they were backed up and would take 30-45 minutes by hostess. upon our 30 minute check in we were told to check back in 30 minutes and new development, they lost our reservation within the previous 30 minutes. The manager told us that they accidentally overbooked and could not figure out the reservation system. this location is no longer part of the chain as it was bought out and it shows. have been coming to this location since it opened and have never experienced something like this. family didn’t want to take any chances on our christmas dinner so we drove to the pasadena shogun instead! DO NOT DINE HERE
on 10/18 i went to the location in Pasadena, when i first walked in i was not greeted by anyone i was there for about 10 min before anyone acknowledged me, then after they realized i was there i told them that i would like to place an order togo, i ordered 2 chicken fried rice and steak medium rare and shrimp and the other plate was medium rare steak and sesame chicken and 2 onion soups, they told me the wait was 25 mins, the wait was about 45 mins i went in and i asked the manager Micheal who had a green shirt on if my food was ready there was food on the counter bagged he asked my name and went and looked at the food and came back and told me it was not ready and to wait another 10 mins, i sat there for about another 15 mins and the gentleman that took my order told me what i was waiting for i said my food and he walked over to the same exact counter the manager did and said your food is ready and handed me 2 bags that the manager went and looked at, and said that was not my food and to wait, it took me about 20 mins to get home, when i got home i relieved that they gave me the wrong soup that my husband is alergic too and needed to take Benadryl because they gave me miso soup, Also noticed that the steak was cooked well done and it was dry. The food was cold and there was no fried rice in either orders,i called the store and told them that i was very upset because the food was not complete the steak was over cooked and it was no fried rice for either others, so i drove another 20 mins back to the location asked for a manager, preferably Michael , they said michael went home for the night and that the manager there was Ian, i told ian that i waited 45 mins for my food spent over $100 and had to drive over 20 mins, he told me that he could reheat my food and give me the two missing items, i was extremely upset, never had i ever experienced this service i always come here bout 2 a month, i told him that i did not want reheated food because my order was not complete i told him the steak was no cooked Medium rare I told him that I would like fresh food because now my food is extremely cold and I would like my steaks to be cooked, medium rare. The food was dry, so I asked if they could add butter while cooking, I also asked if he could throw in a thing of sushi since I have to wait because I was extremely hungry and I've already waited now extremely long, he told me he could not give me anything but the rice and redo the food, i told Ian thank you and sat down, as i was there waiting i noticed a gentle who was also complaining about his food not being cooked right and missing items a lady from altadena expressed dissatisfaction with her food as well and begged then to double check that everything was there, also another gentlemen who order togo asked for them to check the food to take it out the bag and look and make sure it was done, they even gave him a hard time, i waited about another 45 mins for my food to come out, finally ian brought it to me and it was complete and the order was right and he gave me the sushi i asked for, i waited a total of 2 hours between waiting and driving back and forth i will no longer come to this location any more the service is horrible
