You know a Mexican restaurant is good when they bring you chips and salsa the moment you sit down. The chips were fantastic, perfectly thin and crispy and paired with delicious salsa. The food was massive and very satisfying. Great value and extremely friendly staff in a nice cozy interior.

This place is really very friendly and welcoming. Their food is amazing and for the price definitely worth it. Called ahead of time to ask a few questions about the food, they were very informative and their service is great. They will come by to see if you need more refills or food, pick empty plates when you’re done. The food also came out fast. I’m happy to keep coming back here with my wife we had an amazing time.

This was so good! The two salsas that come with the complimentary chips are both good and fresh. My partner had a carnitas chimichanga and it was absolutely massive. I had the chicken taquitos and they were some of the best I've had. The hot sauce was absolutely killer! We were so happy to have it because it was so flavorful and decently spicy. We'll have to come back for sure! All of this was for a great price and the staff was friendly.

By far the best classic Mexican restaurant I ever been to, and I’ve been to a ton. The beans are flavorful, the chile rellenos and enchiladas are packed with the good stuff, and the roasted salsa is unlike any I’ve had. A good level of spice ranges. I’d recommend it to anybody! About $13 for these huge combo plates.

The place is clean, and the service is fast and friendly. Had the horchata, which was sweet and creamy. The fish taco was crispy and fresh. The menudo was excellent. I would recommend.

This place has some of the best crispy shredded beef tacos you can find ANYWHERE. Everything from the shell, the marinated meat, and fresh veggies+cheese keeps me coming back for more. It comes with beans and rice, both of which are perfectly seasoned and flavorful! The horchata is also creamy and sweet with that perfect cinnamon balance. Everything on the menu is fairly priced, a rare find in 2022. The service is also wonderful, you can tell the employees and owner love food and what they do. Some places are a 10/10 but this is honestly an 11!

This place is located in the inside corner of a small shopping center off of Colorado & Sierra Madre. I almost missed it - good thing I didn’t. Our order consisted of Campechana, De Chile Relleno Burrito, & Steak Nachos. Very satisfying. The seafood was done right, the nachos crispy, & the burrito was devoured as soon as it was served (barley got a chance to get the picture, lol). Expect to pay for quality....it’s not a cheap eat. But the portions are good & the atmosphere is inviting.

Amazing! I got an enchilada and rice à la carte, they made it into a plate for me. They even brought me chips ♥️ and the salsa was so fresh and tasty with thoughtful flavors. Homey vibe. I’m so happy I stopped here!

I’ve been going to Lupitas for years. They were even open during Covid consistently delivering delicious food. Their cheese enchiladas are the bomb and I love their crispy taquitos especially the beef ones. A strip mall nothing fancy, but always could find a seat there even on a Friday night

Place has great food for the price. I had their beef burrito topped with their sauce, I went with the large one and wasn’t let down! The service was great, attentive, and friendly. Biggest downside is the parking, wow it took 15 min to find a space and it was outside of the parking lot so if you’re lucky to get a spot, lucky you!

This is a very promising restaurant. I think I might have been served by the owner who was incredibly gracious and helpful choosing from all the delicious things they had on offer here. First I wanted to say how the chips and the salsa negra were excellent. I know it seems a trivial thing to mention but it was really good to start that way, and and seemed like a good sign for the quality in the rest of the food. When I saw the menu, I was impressed the way they mixed seafood in with the other meats. That was torn between the shrimp chile relleno, which is a perfect combination of my two recent cravings, and the brisas del Mar which was shrimp, chicken and beef mixed in a red sauce. I decided to go with that because it seemed lighter than the relleno, and at this point I polished off too many chips and salsa negra, and I didn't feel ready to abandon myself totally to gluttony, believe it or not. I will be coming back for the relleno and I regret that I didn't make a photograph of the menu because other things on the menu looked as delicious. However, there is bad news: the brisas del Mar, it was bland, like I have finished bouillabaisse they could have stood more seasoning and onions. I'm giving it a tentative three stars, Because I want to give the place a second chance even though the entree was disappointing.

Very average Mexican shop. Grandma likes it and apparently all her friends do too.
