Casa Ole Pasadena Reviews
Food is always good. Big portions. Excellent service. They have lunch and happy hour specials.
This was me and my sons second time coming here for dinner and of course it did not disappoint. Alberto was our server and he was super sweet and very attentive. Best part of the evening was when Mr. Corky (the owner) came to our table. He is so kind and very friendly. He took the time to have a conversation with my son and l, which we truly enjoyed. This is definitely our new favorite place to come and have a peaceful delicious lunch/dinner. Highly recommend! 100 out of 10.
Got the Man vs Fries burrito there and it definitely did not disappoint like other restaurants do. Tasted just like the food truck!!
Always have loved this Restaurant good good food to me quite and pleasnt
Casa Olé is to Houstonians from the 90’s-00’s what Casa Bonita is to Eric Cartman from South Park. It is a Tex-Mex treasure that either Houston or the creators didn’t cherish it enough when they had the chance. You will NEVER find better cheese enchiladas or green sauce that is guaranteed, and although to some this could be argued, but to me it’s undebatable. Sadly, these beloved chains have been closing down one by one to much chagrin and lament from me each time it happens. I used to go to the now closed Stafford location from a literal child of 7 years old, and before that the Sharpstown location. And although going as a kid can slant your opinion to one side with the familiarity and nostalgia factor, one could argue if it wasn’t that good I wouldn’t care, and I most certainly care what happens to this business. The Pasadena location is clean, the service is friendly & quick while the prices are excellent. This particular restaurant does everything to the tee and I recommend this location and the Pearland location depending on where you are coming from in the metropolitan area. Smaller towns appreciate Casa Olé and they take pride in doing things top tier. It’s great for a night out to have some margaritas with friends & family, (look into the cheap Rita nights that vary by location) birthdays as they will give you a free dessert and sing the traditional song to ya, or just a regular night out. It’s decorated like an Americanized idea of a Tijuana hotspot, they have TVs for sports or other programs, and vending machines with some small trinkets for the kids. If you like Tex-Mex and you aren’t a regular to Casa Olé from time to time you don’t know what you’re missing. Try it tonight if you’re looking for a place, and keep giving them your business so we don’t lose the only two locations on this side of Houston. They did nothing wrong and we will be worse for wear without them.
Birthday meal for my granddaughter. 10 of us. Chelsea was an excellent waitress. She got is all we needed. Did not rush us and kept up with the chips and drinks. Best time
The food is wonderful, but sitting down with family and enjoying each other, well that's priceless. We as a family have enjoyed the food of Casa Ole at many different locations through out the years, but up until recently, we might have found our favorite location. The service is friendly, the ambience and music is wonderful, and the food was hot and tasty. And if you have the luxury of having a once of their mixed drinks, they are that cherry on the sundae. We can not wait to go back and have some more of their delicious food.
This was our first time at Casa Ole and I'm glad we went! The online menu looked good and when we went inside we loved the decor and atmosphere. Seating was plentiful and booth seating was available too. The wait staff were prompt and courteous and we enjoyed some fresh chips and salsa while we decided what to order. There were a lot of great choices and while the cost was around $25-$30 per person the food was delicious, well prepared, visually appealing, and came in very big portions indeed! So we were very satisfied. Dessert was Mexican Donuts with 2 tasty dipping sauces and they even gave us an extra donut each (they just mistakenly put in 4 instead of 3 donuts per order and just let us have them when they realized their mistake...very nice!) So now Casa Ole is on our list of great restaurants to come back to!
I love this casa ole! The staff is really friendly and the food quality is always great. We had a craving for some chips and green sauce and popped in for a quick lunch. I ordered the lunch fajitas and my husband ordered the lunch chimichanga.. we were delighted to hear that kids eat for $.99 on Tuesdays! Also, they have a good happy hour house margarita, and daily beer specials!
The chips and salsas are always really good, the food quality over the years has gone down. Its not bad but not like it used to be. The prices have gone up and the portions are smaller too.
Had an early dinner here for a quick bite. This place was pretty empty for a holiday weekend. The food was fast but lukewarm. Drink are ok, went during happy hour. Honestly, I only go for the chips and salsa but I cant put my finger on it, it was just average. This use to be a popular place but the food menu and quality cant cut it with the prices they charge. I need to think twice before coming here to see if there are better food options. I think it needs a rescue.
The people were great, atmosphere was pretty quiet but with great music but I would only go back if I was guaranteed the food would have a LOT more seasoning 😅
Parking lot is almost empty, employees on their phones, our server had maybe one table other than ours, but she was absent, my cup sat dry on the edge of the table waiting for attention that came only once my food was finished being eaten. The location in Deer Park is always busy, the severs are prompt and attentive, and its always a great experience. Do yourself a favor and pass this location up on your way to Deer Park.
We went in on Tuesday 10/29/24 at 4:45pm and were seated right away and then....NOTHING for 4 minutes (I started timing)...no employee/server came to the table or even passed us! So, we left. I was really disappointed because this location has a happy hour menu for drinks and food. Nevertheless, my Casa Ole craving was satisfied by the location in Deer Park. I did call and let the manager know that her staff dropped the ball today.
I waited to be seated and was passed several times by employees and ignored when I asked to be seated. I waited 25 minutes, just standing there asking if anyone could assist me. A employee walked right passed me after using the restroom and completely ignored my existence. It wasn't even busy. 😡😡
Update . I have replied 3 times to the request below since November to the email provided to give more information so they could “make it right.” I HAVE NOT gotten 1 response to their request! I am very disappointed in place right now! Tonight i was refused my meal. I have been coming to both DP and Pasadena locations for years. Very loyal customer. I ALWAYS get the taco platter . It has 2 extra long tacos that get soggy by the time you get thru one it’s falling a part and the second is soggy . I ALWAYS get same plate just in 3 small taco shells. Tonight manager told our server he could not do that. No reason just that it was not a option . So I did not order! Rather let long time customer sit a table with no order, make no money, rather than give up 3 small taco shells . SMH I’ll be going to Deep Park location from now on
