Noda Sushi Pasadena Reviews
I don't know why you'd eat sushi anywhere else.

A great low key sushi spot. Staff is very welcoming and friendly.
I Love NODA's. Everytime I have guests from out of town, they always request to go to NODA's at least once or twice during their visit. Food is wonderful and abundant. I don't like sushi but still go to NODA's offten for the chicken teriyaki, beef and gyozas. Good friendly atmosphere and very reasonable prices.
Fantastic service and very fresh fish!
Solid Pasadena sushi spot. Great sushi and very friendly.
Been going for years. .A South Lake institution with 18 years serving our community. The atmosphere lends itself to intimate conversation at the tables. And the sushi bar can be either a contemplative time or celebratory and gregarious. Noda is great.
OMG! Hands down to the chefs and sweet waitress who make our first time experience in this restaurant, we are going to come back for sure!
When I was working at Caltech I would come over here all the time. Visited today to see if it was just nostalgia, no the sushi is still as good as I remember. Yum!
Best sushi in Pasadena! The quality of fish is excellent. And the owners are lovely.
Good place to go for lunch. Check the hours first as they chose at 2pm (?) I think the diners are a mix of Caltech people, realtors, and nearby residents. Easily compared to most other Japanese restaurants. I think the prices are fair, maybe a few bucks more than others. I like that they bring the food fairly quickly, as well as the check. One of my pet peeves w/ restaurants is that they pick up the check and cc and then one has to wait forever for it to be returned. That doesn't happen here.🙂

It’s my second time in this sushi restaurant. The service started out slow on a busy Friday night but it quickly improved. We loved the seaweed salad, grilled shishito peppers and soft shell crab appetizer. The sashimi, salmon lover roll and Cynthia roll were fresh and nicely prepared. I asked for grilled salmon without teriyaki sauce and it came out nice. The dinner was satisfying.
Above average Japanese restaurant. Don’t judge it by its modest exterior, the food, service, and interior are good.
The food is pretty good here but for the money I'd rather go somewhere else. If you come here you'll enjoy the food but you won't get as much here as you would at some other places.

Located on Lake just past T-Pumps. The restaurant is small bit quaint with several tables and sushi bar seating. Staff are attentive and helpful. However there were only 2 waitstaff available when I was there and they appeared very busy. One more floor staff member would have been useful. Sushi was fresh and quality was fair. Pricing is reasonable for food and beverages. Seemed like a lot of regular diners and the staff treated them very well. Overall not a bad sushi restaurant on Lake in Pasadena.
Small and cozy place. I appreciate the lunch option to choose my own Bento box. The food was delicious, generous serving of tempura.

Nice people but last call is 8:45pm on a Saturday... so 8:15pm during the week? Like most places... shrinkflation. Prices go up, portions shrink. But consistent food and nice people.
Not too bad, but still forgettable. Stopped in for a lunch special and got a shrimp tempura roll, BBQ beef and the standard sides (rices, salad, miso soup) for about ten bucks. Not too impressed with the beef and would not order that again. Just not the amount of flavor and freshness I like. Shrimp tempura was better, but still pales in comparison to Sushi of Naples which isn't too far from this place. Glad I checked the place out, but I will stick with Sushi of Naples next time I'm craving something Japanese.

Little tiny sushi rolls, that’s their Philadelphia Roll. Does it look deep fried? That’s what $13.95 gets you.

Visiting Cali & trying new food. Came to dine in & they looked at me like I was crazy. I asked if I could order & the lady said “To go?”…Ha! I don’t spend where I’m not welcomed
Two people dinner was 120 IN TOTAL?!?! Wth… food was ok but price def not affordable. they should not be charging that much😒😒
