Great place, small local mom and pop restaurant. very good food courteous and quick service, large portions, fair prices a good value for your monery. I had the country fried steak and eggs for breakfast 😋 so very delicious 😋 and it filled me up, after breakfast I road my motorcycle up PCH to Carmel and was still not hungry after that meal, now that's what I call a good breakfast. 😋 I'm really glad I found this little restaurant I'llbe comingback again. You gotta try this place. 😊 Tell them Smokey Fred sent you 😉 Follow me on Instagram at SmokeyFredsays 😊

Came on at 11am on a Thursday and very busy...very small wait. Food portions generous and we enjoyed two breakfast offerings. Staff very busy but very attentive. If you're on some sort of diet...maybe not for you (maybe share a plate) but we polished off ours. The place has a vet vib and some adornments suggesting Joe was in the service and a number of veterans were seated...a big plus in my book. When leaving the waitress (Karen) despite being busy asked if she could bring to go coffee cups and topped them off at no charge). Their breakfast meats are tasty and perfectly cooked. Kudos to the entire team.

Loved this local breakfast while we stayed in Paso Robles. Was bustling with activity on a Sunday morning.. seems to be popular with the locals..from the conversations I believe the waiters were knowing some of the customers personally.. greeting them and chit chatting before taking orders.. Food was fresh and the portion size was generous! While traveling I love to explore local eateries over others.. and this one hit the spot!

They're serious when they say best breakfast is Paso Robles! Must try Cinnamon Rolls and other breakfast items but be careful, the portions are huge!

Of all the places to get a delicious breakfast meal on the California Central Coast, this is the place to go! Diane is the best, and she is so kind and patient while serving! We promise that when you enter in and try whether it be hashbrowns, omelets, pancakes, or toast that you will leave with a great big smile on your face! 😁 ~ The Paso Robles Missionaries

I'll keep this short. Their Lorraine Omelette is the best omelette in all of SLO County, and this comes from years of arduous in the field testing from San Miguel to Nipomo! Ask for some of their home made ranchero sauce to go with it and your taters...you won't be sorry...

So good we went twice…the raisin toast was fabulous along with all the other food, whilst receiving great service

Delicious traditional American fare at a reasonable price. I especially like the chicken fried steak and pork chops with eggs. Bathrooms are clean too.

Absolutely loved Joe's Place in Paso. It's got a great history, they love us #MilitaryVeterans and active duty I'm sure. The way the restaurant architecture is you can tell it was something else turned in to the restaurant which I think gives it character. Destiny, our waitress, was sweet and just snarky enough to experience. Food was delicious, I chose the Lorraine which is spinach, bacon and Swiss cheese omelet. I chose Hash browns to go with it as well as sourdough toast! I'll be back for sure!!! Oh and the pin up girls, their in the men's restroom. Ladies was occupied and there were no men waiting soooo why not?! 10/10

Stopped in here for breakfast on our way out of town based on recommendations from a couple others we were traveling with. We almost didn't stay because there were so many people waiting, but they sat people fairly quickly, so I think we waited maybe 15 minutes or so. The breakfasts our group got were very good. Normally, it's hard to mess up breakfast food, but they do a really good job here. I ordered a basic eggs, sausage patty, and french toast breakfast and it was really good. Service was very quick, although as I mentioned before, the place is very busy. Obviously, there's a reason for that. Great place to stop in for breakfast.

Pleasant surprise after the original spot we were going to was closed on Sundays. But we were very satisfied with our service and our meals. We will definitely come back again big servings hot food service with a smile. Lots of seating, cozy, friendly locals spot. I had a supreme Chilaquiles while my husband had the pancakes, eggs, bacon, and sausage. Do not let the pics fool you the sausage were jumbo size so good.

First time here. Service was fast, polite and friendly. Portion sizes are large, and can't fill up a hearty appetite. Had a veggie omelette, potatoes and sourdough toast. All delicious, and I would highly recommend it.

Nice breakfast place just outside downtown, right off the spring street exit. Great easy free parking, inside or outside dining. The biscuits and gravy are really good. Chicken fried steak is yummy too!

Loved this self-described greasy spoon (though it’s spotless), sitting on swivel stools at the Formica counter, appreciating the gorilla and veteran theme (it works, which I’ve found to be true of almost every gorilla and veteran themed restaurant I’ve patronized). The staff was delightfully cheery, especially the morning after a full day of wine tasting. I couldn’t finish the very generous 3-egg scramble with ham, onions, green peppers, and added cheese, thick buttered toast, and huge pile of home fries. Open for breakfast and lunch.

Aug 6 & 7 When they say this place is "The Best Breakfast In Town", they're not lying! While in Paso Robles, this is a must stop. We were looking for a good breakfast spot while on our anniversary vacation, and this place did not disappoint. The first morning I had the Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs with the Biscuit & Gravy, and the wife had the Hamburger Steak & Eggs. Simply amazing. It was SO good, we had to come back the next morning before heading home. The next day I had the Lorraine Omelette (& they don't skimp on the bacon!), and the wife had the French Toast. Again, amazing. The flavor was so good with everything we had. And the coffee was the best we've had at any breakfast place. Service was great, and all the waitresses were very friendly. For being a small place, it's very cozy and they move everyone pretty quickly. Would definitely come back next time we come through Paso Robles.

Excellent experience. Truly a 5 star establishment. Friendly and attentive staff, food came out quickly and was DELICIOUS. (Get the sauce!!!) The only thing we didn’t like was the biscuits and gravy - it was just kinda bland on its own.

Mexican and American breakfasts. Delicious. My family always stops by when passing through Paso. Service is great. The space is small and parking is a nightmare but if you don't mind parking on the street and walking a little you'll avoid the parking lot. Be patient with the servers as this place is busy for a reason- good food!

Excellent service! Our server was kind, funny and incredibly attentive. The atmosphere is what you would expect from an all American diner. Our meals were decent, but nothing to be amazed about. My mother’s “tri tip” was tough and chewy. My Denver omelette was decent.

If you’re coming down Spring Street, it’s easy to pass by because it actually sits on top of a little hill with the entrance off the side street. Once inside though, you’ll be greeted by friendly, personable waitress staff. Like the other two Joe’s in the area this one is small but They are able to accommodate a moderate number of people. Coffee comes pretty quick and your cup never gets empty. With Their extensive breakfast and lunch menu there’s a lot to choose from to satisfy your hunger. I ordered the ham and American cheese omelette with sliced avocados. As you can see, the omelette comes full of ham. The hashbrowns are, well there hash browns. I’ve eaten it all three Joe’s now and I find the staff is friendly and personable at every location. Stop in for breakfast or lunch and you’ll leave satisfied

This is a neat stand alone restaurant, a very nice atmosphere. The host was nice, food looked great when it arrived. The omelette has a decent portion of thicker bacon inside but the bacon isn’t cooked, 1/2 of it was raw fat. The turkey meat is processed meat… The hash browns are browned nicely… with a thick clump of raw shredded potato inside. Make it a bit skinnier or mix it up a bit and fry longer. No seasonings. The sourdough is cheap restaurant sourdough and enough butter for 1/2 of the slice. I mentioned nicely to the waitress about the bacon not being cooked. Her response was not sincere.
