Osteria Casa Marcellina Passirano Reviews
We stopped by chance for a quick lunch and had a great time. The lady who runs the place, as well as her staff, were kind and welcoming. Good food at a fair price.
What a lovely surprise! We arrived by chance and found ourselves in a small restaurant run by a very competent staff. From the welcome at the door to the waiter and the kitchen staff :) Delicious first courses! The fennel and cavolo nero soup, the pappardelle with ragù, and the casoncelli... truly delicious!!! You can tell the entire staff is doing their best when, at the end of the meal, you're happy with the welcome, the location, the food, the wine, the service, the company, the bill, and the time spent at this Osteria... BRAVIUS!!! ;)
A family-run osteria nestled in a small town setting, its façade immediately stands out. We had lunch there over the weekend and were treated very well, despite the restaurant being full.
We called at 12:30 to ask if the kitchen would be open at 1:50 PM; they confirmed they would be open for us. Once we arrived, we were greeted very kindly and served promptly. The mixed antipasto was delicious, and the primi (typical Brescian dishes) were delightful. On the staff's recommendation, we finally ordered the tiramisu and the crema catalana; both were delicious. For €30 per person, we had the best meal of the trip.
A small osteria out in the country. Himemade, very delicious food. Kinda a fusion
We found this place by searching on Google. We like to try small restaurants in the Brescia hinterland, and we really enjoyed it. The place is small but very clean and well-kept. The food is well-cooked and beautifully presented. The menu is displayed on a blackboard, but is also explained by the very kind owner. The prices are absolutely competitive. The bathroom is clean and fully equipped. It is wheelchair accessible. There is ample free parking in front of the place. We will be back to try the paella, which was recommended to us.
A pleasant surprise. We chose this place for a quick stop, but...what a treat! First of all, don't be fooled: it's called an Osteria, but it's a beautiful, bright, contemporary place. It offers traditional dishes, but you'll also find specialties from other regions. The owner's kindness is a significant added value. Our dog was also very welcome. The homemade tiramisu is a true masterpiece, worth a detour if you're in the Lake Iseo area!
Excellent food, a very welcoming place, even though there were about twenty of us for a celebration. It's best to book to ensure a spot. There's also ample parking nearby. The tagliata was very good, and the appetizers were also impressive. The desserts were good. I'd revisit the tiramisu, adding a layer (the cream was delicious).
Nice Bistro. Menu wrote in a chalkboard, good food and very nice staff
The food is perfect. I recommand
Top!

Nothing special, appetizers and first courses cost €11, while the second courses cost €18. We ordered casoncelli and stracotto, but we won't remember them. We liked the entree soup. There was no menu, just the writing on the wall of the dishes. In fact, we got ripped off by asking for a glass of wine, and they brought us a 0.50 bottle of red for €16. We were disappointed. In the end, €50 for two for lunch in the middle of nowhere. In hindsight, I would have gone for lunch by the lake, at least I had the view. The bathroom door was broken. Dessert: I can't caramelize the crème brulee. "We make it soft," no, dear, so don't call it crème brulee or buy a blowtorch, I make it at home too. Coffee: nothing special.
The restaurant is family-run, and the friendliness is evident even over the phone when you book. The chalkboard menu offers limited options, but they're all inviting. The tagliata with grilled vegetables is excellent. The pasta e fagioli (pasta and beans) as an entree was a delight. Fast service, very friendly and welcoming staff, even accommodating the needs of a celiac. Good value for money.
Not recommended unfortunately Very plane food, not much of a choice, no prices in the menu on the board but we took 2 portions of Pasta and then pain 15€ each...no one bothered to explain there is a lunch fee for everything The waitress seems not interested in people who aren't regulars, in the end was actually rude..
Just don't.
