We absolutely love this location! Shelby and Liv have done such a great job from the staff, the quality of every order, to the customer service. Top tier!
There was an issue with the driver who delivered my item and Shelbie the manager at this location went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of and replaced my item. Even taking the time to personally call me and apologize on the drivers behalf. The customer service was amazing and definitely not what you’d get anywhere else.
This isbthe best place ever to get snow cones. The staff is super friendly. Love this place
I love Bahama Bucks especially because of the Party Packs. You can add packed snowballs to throw at each other for a party. We have done this several times for our softball team.
It was my first time having this shaved ice experience. The taste lasted all the way down to the bottom. Not like other places that the flavor is only over the top. I will be coming back.
The manager Shelby was very helpful and accommodating. He was efficient and extremely friendly. The whole staff was very quick even while having 10+ people in lobby and drive thru
The 5 star review is for Shelby and his amazing customer service! Not only does he have a positive and refreshing personality, but there’s something about the way he makes my order to perfection every single time - (Sweet Hurricane). Shelby doesn’t miss! He’s so great, that if he’s not on the schedule then it’s likely I won’t place an order. Shelby is amazing hands down.
Edit: came back again and they're as great as ever. The drinks look as good as they do on the menu board These guys were closed for a few months and it seems like they have a brand new staff compared to before. Doing this review after my third time and I haven't had any delays with my drink getting prepared quick and everything tasted great.
My family and I had such a lovely experience here today. Everyone greeted us with a smile and asked us how we were doing. Shelbie took our orders and made sure we had everything we needed. He also let one of us test a flavor to make sure we liked it. I got the Mangonada snow cone and it was so delicious! We will definitely be back to try more flavors!
Customer service isnt all that great. Im not surprised though because it's a bunch of kids work there. Better experience than the 1st time and my drink order was correct, plys they put cream throughout my whole drink so they still get 4 stars.
The wait is the reason I give Bahama Bucks only 2 stars. We literally waited 45 mins for just 3 drinks 😲. I just don't understand why drinks take that long. I was so ready to just leave but my daughter and hubby wanted to wait 🙄. For our first time it was a horrible experience. Also, because of the wait the place was extra crowded and it was hardly anywhere for people to sit for a while. I'll never go back. The drinks were not worth it at all in my opinion. Update: We went back today and it was nearly empty. The wait wasn't long at all this time. I'm still not a fan because there's nothing with cookies and cream on the menu but my daughter and hubby loves it.
Stood in line for 10 minutes for someone to notice us. And as soon as we set down after our order was taken, another person walked in, and was served immediately.
I was greeted when I walked in but waited about 10 minutes before anyone took my order, despite the place being empty. I asked for just ice cream with Oreos, but was given a sno cone with a little ice cream at the bottom, which was not what I ordered (they told me they can sell cups of ice cream. I’m not a sno cone person; my son is). When I tried to clarify, I was told ‘that’s the way it’s made,’ and no effort was made to fix it or offer a refund. The lack of customer service was disappointing, and I won’t be returning
I usually enjoy Bahama Buck’s, but this time around I ordered the pina colada breeze and it was a total miss. It ended up tasting really bitter — not at all what I was expecting — and honestly, it was inedible. Not sure if it was just a bad batch or the flavor itself, but definitely won’t be ordering that one again. Might stick to the classics next time.
Second time coming to this location first time I came with my husband it was 20 min before they were closing . They didn’t have my super sour cherry i totally understood . Second time now it’s Saturday 6pm and again no super sour cherry . Place was dirty and very hot like the ac was not working. Only have 2 starts because the girls were very nice and friendly especially the girl with the bun on the photo she shaved my snow cone and did it as instructed light ice and super soft . Manager should be paying more attention to details dirty place and hot place does not call customer attention especially if there ingredients missing . Need improvement also flavor of the day needs to be more creative .
Normally I never have a problem. There's usually a long wait time, but I'm pretty understanding. However, on my visit today, my sno had many little strings of blue plastic in it. I don't what it is, so I wont be eating the rest of it. Also, I've called multiple times to let them what happened and to give them a chance to fix it, but each time I'm told the line is busy. And, lastly, it has very little syrup. I asked for 3 flavors (and I was worried it might be overrun with syrup) but there's a rather big chunk in the middle of unflavored sno. If i can't reach them by phone, it seems I'll have to go all the way back there and wait in line again for them to fix these problems. 😒
My experience at the Bahama Buck’s in Pearland was unacceptable, and unfortunately it reflects many of the concerns already mentioned in other reviews. I waited in the drive-thru line for 35 minutes. Because it was taking so long and I had children waiting, I went inside and politely asked the general manager, Dianne (short gray hair), if she could hand me the sno cones as she made them so the ice wouldn’t melt. Instead of responding professionally, she immediately gave me an attitude and stated there was a customer before me and that she was the only one working. While I understand being short-staffed, that is a management issue — not a reason to be rude or disrespectful to paying customers. When I calmly explained that I wasn’t upset about the wait but about the attitude, her behavior became increasingly sarcastic and condescending, emphasizing her words and making remarks under her breath. Another customer inside also expressed that he had been waiting an extremely long time. The situation escalated when she told me to leave. I asked for my refund receipt and her name. She loudly and aggressively spelled it out: “D-I-A-N-N-E.” She then threatened to call the police, which was completely unnecessary and felt like a scare tactic. After issuing my refund, she followed me outside and stood behind my vehicle, appearing to take a photo of my car and/or license plate. This was extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable. What made this experience worse is that she claimed she informed another customer about the long wait but never communicated that to me. Customers understand busy days and staffing challenges. What is not acceptable is: • Poor communication • Disrespectful and sarcastic behavior • Threatening customers unnecessarily • Following customers outside to photograph their vehicles Management sets the tone for a business, and this interaction was completely inappropriate. Based on this experience and the similar complaints in other reviews, this location clearly has serious customer service and management issues. I will not be returning.
