Some friends and I had lunch here today. The food was 😋 tasty! There was a good variety/selection of dishes, and everyone left satisfied. You have to pay extra for cold drinks, other than water. The lg. plastic take away cups are an extra .75 cent . Happy hour: 1:00- 3:00 p.m. = a meal and drink for one price. Senior citizens get a discount. The restaurant and food stations were clean and the associates were courteous, friendly and helpful.

We went to the Golden Corral on 9115 Broadway St, Pearland, TX, and had an amazing experience. My son unfortunately lost a box with his video games (worth about $500), and the staff went above and beyond to help us. Huge shoutout to Veronica, Juan, and Lynn — their customer service was outstanding, caring, and genuine. They truly treated us like family and did everything they could to help. If I could give 10 stars, I would. We’re definitely coming back!

One of the most welcoming food places I have ever ate at. Most places don't have the awesome crew this place has, always available, always ready to help, always checking in if you need anything. The variety of foods offered, from endless salad combos, to the breakfast display, to delicious lunch and dinner options there was so many options to pick and choose from. Don't get me started on the desserts section, seasonal and traditional desserts that wrapped up the experience!

So satisfying! I haven't been here in a long time, but I will be going back a bunch in the future. People might think it is a little pricey, but it is so well worth every penny! My mind is blown away on how good everything tastes and well cooked. The gentleman cooking the steaks got it right the first time, and seasoned just right. I was not sure if people tipped at buffets, but it is good to tip these people. If you don't have cash on hand for a tip, you can get cash back at the register. I am so full I don't think I can eat anything for the next 3 days lol!

Really great experience, we got there during a big rush. They grabbed all the steak , so once they got some more cooked the chef came to the table and let us know he had some ready. Came here for my birthday, and it was a pretty good experience. We went for dinner at 7 pm and the selection was good. Our waitress Amanda was great. I enjoyed the steak bar the most. The food all seemed fresh. We did have a large group, but they were awesome and accommodating and even told me Happy Birthday. If you sign up for their rewards, you get a free buffet for your birthday!

First time visiting this location. Went 1.5 hours before close. The staff was extremely nice and friendly, they took care of us the entire experience. The food selection was still bountiful and well heated. We got steaks and they were cooked beautifully and juicy. Staff checked on multiple times to make sure we were all taken care of. Love the tuna salad and the fresh hot rolls. We've had so wonderful wait service. They check on us periodically and get our refills without asking. I remember back in time Golden Corral was the place to be. Had a line for breakfast and gou g in to lunch not to mention dinner. Just good old fashion cooking. Every one seamed to be happy 😊. All the staff was very nice but this place needs some deep cleaning starting in the parking lot. It was very dirty on the outside and the carpet was filthy on the inside. A carpet shampoo machine costs $30 to rent. It's not that hard to make the restaurant presentable. The food was fresh and hot. The dessert section could be better but overall, the food was good.

Had their Thanksgiving dinner to go and I have to say it turned out fantastic. Everything tasted great. To go orders are not known to be hot from the oven but the temperature was good on everything. Would definitely recommend their to go services and the Thanksgiving meal.

Easter Sunday, very busy when we arrived and seating was hard to find for a party of 3. We all had the buffet and the food was good but we had to wait for some items to be replinished. My favorite was the pot roast,with mashed and gravy. I actually had 2nd's 🤗😋 My ladies had to wait for the shrimp and fish to come out, but they enjoyed both. Desert was excellent.

My husband who go to Golden Corral at least 2-3 times a week. He was approach by the manager who he is very familiar with , accusing him of taking home a piece of chicken home. Which he was not. I find this to be poor judgment and humiliating upon the manager who knows his customers yet feel the need to accuse a familiar customer for an action that wasn't even done. 👎 Thumb down. You know what you did. Just lost a customer who eat at your restaurant to the three times a week. To all of those who are reading reviews please be aware that you can be humiliated easily by the manager. ☹️.

Great service from beginning to end. Staff was very helpful. Grill man did an excellent job on steak temp! Table Attendant on top of taking care of our party. I came on Easter 🐣 Sunday and it was very busy. But the food was very good and fresh. The roast beef was not good. The steak wasn’t bad. Loved the Mac and cheese, veggies, mashed potatoes, and butterfly shrimp. The desserts were all good. I loved the chocolate chess pie. I think the bread pudding was not cooked with enough liquid so it was kind of chewy in some parts. The bread was not soaked all the way through. My server was very nice too. I would come back again. I wish it were closer to me.

Golden Corral might be showing its age a bit, but I still find myself stopping by from time to time — and it’s mostly for one thing: the bread. Seriously, their rolls are so good. Soft, warm, buttery, and full of flavor. I’ll often grab a dozen (or two) to take home, and they never last long! Even if the place isn’t as shiny as it once was, that bread keeps me coming back. It’s one of those little comfort food favorites you just can’t pass up.

Waitress checked on the table behind us a (single Hispanic Man) quite often. But for us 2 kids 2 adults (Black) she stopped at our table once my wife said she asked for something I forget what it was, but the lady said ok she'll be back with it but she never returned to the table at all. We didn't complain we just proceeded to clean our own table and get our own drinks..... There is an old saying that black people don't tip jokes on them because my wife and I tip great when treated with good service. She missed out on at least $30.

It's not as good as it used to be. Looks like they're trying to give the entrance a face-lift. It looks a little better. The areas that need attention are the restrooms. They're nasty. They took all the silverware away from the plate stations. The server brings you the silverware after you show them your receipt. No spoons available for your soup. Now you have to ask your server for one. I didn't like having to wait for my spoon 😕

Food was average, definitely had better at other Golden Corral locations. This particular one was really stingy about drink refills for some reason--they only let you have one refill, which is crazy considering how expensive the drinks are and how much ice they put in your cup. No other Golden Corral that I've been to had ever done that, and I've been to at least 5 different locations. They didn't have steaks ready at all. Everything on the grill (the were like two steaks) was "already spoken for". You had to specifically order something. Never had that happen at a Golden Corral either, as they're usually always grilling something, and keeping cooked meats warm on one side of the grill. Everything else on the buffet line was either bland or poor quality. Wasn't worth the money tbh, would rather go all the way to the Galveston one. But it was 4th of July so that was out of the option. This one wasn't even busy, but I guess that makes sense considering the quality.

Weekend buffet Front and center, as you walk in they got the grill master cooking up steaks. Right away I knew I was gonna get one. I asked for a medium rare- guy servin grabbed one and slammed into all my other food onto my plate just very abruptly. I pull back and turn away and as I’m looking at the cut judging its quality, I look back and see how he sliced into the woman who came after me and saw that was actually a med steak. He didnt cut into mine for approval, I just knew mine was well done because I pressed it and it had no give. I went back and asked for something medium well. He gave me attitude saying his steaks aren’t dry- something I never said and very snippily grabbed the steak and gave me a different piece. Either way it wasn’t seasoned nor was it juicy. Something that the other location on the south side I went to the other week had any issues with. And that grill master over there was super friendly and confident in his abilities to serve up the best. So that’s why I give that location a higher grade compared to this one. But in general this location was more accommodating when it came to the servers. While getting dessert a man in front of me was just walking around coughing and it made me uncomfortable as he wasn’t covering his mouth. It actually was in the direction of my food so even though I just got my food ready on the plate, I went ahead and used their hand sanitizer station and got another plate. I saw that unsanitary guy go out of his way to get what I was tryin to eat which seemed almost laughable but anyways I digress- I notice after I gathered what I had originally he took a booth right behind my table. That was enough for me to want to move to another part of the restaurant. I felt uncomfortable but I asked the staff if it was cool if I could move around and they understood and were very accommodating and that is why I give the service 5 stars. Not sure what’s up with pearland but either way probably won’t come back to this one since the other location was just a much better experience.

My daughter loves coming here after I once took her for breakfast which at that time was amazing. I took her last week for dinner for a treat. Now I never hold expectations with a buffet but I was disappointed. The lady getting our drinks and plates was amazing so no problems there and the staff was very friendly but the food was not that great, edible but not great. Steak was tuff, food seemed old. She would try various things and while a few things were really good most got thrown away. and the dessert section was a mess of smooshed pies and stale cookies without even a working ice cream machine that looked nasty. This was at 5 pm by the way. I will always give them another chance but may stick to breakfast. This could have just been a bad night and I will post again after another visit.

Super clean restaurant. This location is usually my favorite but felt very ignored. I came here two days ago and I did not get a refill even once. I did not even meet my waiter. He was busy going table to table in my section but skipped my table completely. I didn't wave him down because I am not a confrontational person at all and very much do not like to bother people. I left in the middle of my meal, both because I needed something to drink and because I felt bad. I'm not entitled to any special treatment at all but at the very least the waiters usually are super friendly, attentive, and treat everybody like family. I didn't feel that at all this time.

It's not de-veined. I ate half my portion before I found that disgusting detail out when breading came off of one. Started pealing the breading to check the others and it was all of them. Took me a minute for my stomach to settle, I had literally already eaten a handful. Completely Disgusting! The cook should be ashamed of themselves. So ya, never again.

This was my previous 5 Star review: "Good food...Best fried chicken!" Fast forward a month and here is my current review: There was no white meat chicken. When I asked I was told it would be four minutes. When they brought the chicken out it was all dark meat. I asked again and was told it would be 4 minutes. I waited and when it came out it was all dark meat again. I asked again and was told it would be another 14 minutes. I was there almost an hour before any white meat chicken came from the kitchen. The Kitchen Manager did bring some chicken to our table after we complained to management.

Lunch hours had very little selections to choose from and what ever was out was not very appeasing. A lot of items seem to be canned goods (corn, green beans ect) and side dishes (broccoli, fried okra ect). The overall flavoring of 90% of the items was very bland. I had just one plate before leaving. I’m from Detroit which that Golden Corral was amazing but this was a big let down.

Second time we have been here to this location this month. The food is Bland and not refilled properly . we went during the week for lunch, the trays of food in the buffet were not filled. I counted seven that were empty or only had one or two small pieces of food in them. Even the ice cream ran out and wasn't refilled for 45 minutes. Decided to go during the weekend. Again the food was boring Bland and there was nothing but chicken, fried chicken, baked chicken, chicken Asian style, the only beef product was the roast beef stew, and the steaks which we could never get because the lady cooking could not keep up and didn't understand very well. I don't believe she had any clue what she was doing poor girl. Worse of all someone poured straight bleach on the floor in the bathroom stall..alot of it. Did not rinse or anything. Made floor dangerous and smell was so strong..2 of us got headaches from it. Will not return to this location..will make the drive to Hwy 59 location...much better everything

Kitchen is understaffed for a Sunday. Limited breakfast, no orange juice, no milk, no cereal, Old food didn't get replaced. The steaks were served late at around 11:40 instead of 11 and they were all overcooked. I don't even blame the lady, she was the only one working that station.

Food was terrible other than the one small steak I got off the grill. I went at dinner time with my girlfriend at 630 and it’s like every thing had just sat there all day long even the dessert was terrible the churros were cold and soggy cafeteria food at the hospital is better we moved tables twice and even the third table felt like it had a film over it like they don’t change the rag water or I’m not sure what definitely wish I had the 42.00 back for two buffets and two drinks. I have been a true patron of Golden Corral due to their variety of foods, desserts, or etc., at a reasonable price - ever since I was in middle school. Today, I’m currently an adult that has experienced various restaurants, including 5 - star restaurants, but still have a good time with my kids (daughter - 12), and (son - 17) who enjoys the desserts and unlimited steak on Sundays sometimes after church. This particular Sunday after church took an incredible turn for the worst that created an immense sense of insecurity, and a huge amount of discrimination and discomfort as my daughter and I were called liars about her age, and asked to provide a birth certificate or insurance card to prove that she was 12 years old. The cashier and supervisor told my “12 year old daughter “ in front of a crowded line that, “ she was not 12, and does not look 12” and “ will be charged as an adult.” after I over - explained and provided her birth date. To reduce the high - level of embarrassment and emotions that my daughter was experiencing I even provided her medical insurance card so that we can move forward and eat. The supervisor/Manager that assisted in creating this scene lacked the accountability to apologize or accommodate for the inconvenience, but instead told us to leave because I held up my daughter’s insurance card after she refused to take it and view it after feeling outdone after she thought that we were lying and trying to scam for a discounted price. The supervisor/Manager also called the police on me and my family, after I asked why were we asked to leave after I provided what she asked for, and with no apology given to my daughter or myself from her. The police arrived and stood in solidarity with me, but unfortunately there is a “ right to refuse service law.” In conclusion , the officer requested that I file a civil suit and etc. I am a hard - working mother that works two jobs, and also building a business that welcomes, values, and respect people. I aim to be a true example of integrity, character, and honesty for my children that view and depend on me. However, this incident caused me to do more self - esteem building with my daughter that has already experienced bullying and harassment for being more developed . This location lacks customer service, and lead with bias versus high quality customer satisfaction.

This is the second time I have ordered their rolls and they have looked like this both times. They would not even fix this issue. This is the worse Golden Corral I have ever been to. They do not care what they serve people.

I’ve been off my game for a while with posting . I should have taken pictures and pictures of the manager and the cashier Celeste laughing tonight. The food was dry, no taste , it was gross where me and my friend vomit outside. We ask for a refund and she said no because we were there for 20 mins which was a lie. We left all the food on the table and we only had a sample . I feel sick. The manger said no she was not giving our money back and she was arguing with us and rolling her neck. Trash

Would I recommend or suggest this particular location...? No! Between duplicitous actions, old/ over-cooked food and deplorable bathroom conditions. That would be a negative!

This place is ridiculously overpriced. The only thing that was okay was the waitress. Food was salty and cold. The tables and trays were dirty. The restrooms were so nasty to the point that the men's restroom had a flood from the toilets that was starting to come out of the door. When I informed the manager, she was not apologetic and, by my estimations, used to it. What was concerning was that none of the staff seemed to mind it being so nasty. We will not be returning again.

Update: as usual, it's uncomfortably hot and humid. The only reason I set foot in this place is when other family are really interested and I'm unable to politely talk them into something else- thank the stars above that's only about twice a year. As a top 10% American restaurant reviewer, I recommend having breakfast elsewhere. I went to satisfy my weekend breakfast cravings & was sorely disappointed. The scrambled "eggs" were cooked to death, the grated potatoes soggy & soft. I wasn't able to find a biscuit safe to bite without extreme care due to concern of molar breakage. The white gravy was bland and cold- not lukewarm, but cold. Bacon was salty as hell and the sausage unusual at best. I regretted this visit with every bite. The person checking on us for drink refills etc was attentive and pleasant.

Upon arrival the cashier was great So you have to pay for food before you get to see it. They had No bake chicken only barbecue & chicken breast. I eat dark me but tried to eat the breast very cold hard I ash Juan the manager if he could put out some fresh bake chicken dark. Juan the manager said that he will cook any chicken because they were getting ready for dinner rush Simply refused having excuse that he did not have any dark me drumsticks nor chicken thighs. He stood over my sister plate hot and sweaty spot coming out his mouth when he talking over our food This is not the way to treat a paying customer we will never come back and if someone over him care's about they money spending customers your manager does not like people

Drove from humble to sit with my niece for her birthday. After arriving veronica and tarek both claimed managers denied me from entering, unless I was paying to eat even after I explained my circumstances. Nothing towards the restaurant it self but certain things should be displayed or advertise and not informed last minute like a made up rule. Now I’ll be waiting outside establishment until family and friends finish enjoying company of my niece’s love on her birthday.

AND THAT'S PROBABLY BECAUSE WHENEVER I GO THERE EVERYONE ELSE KNOWS I'M A SENIOR CITIZEN EXCEPT THIS PERSON VERONICA WHO WANTS TO START SOMETHING WITH ME. SHE WENT AND TALKED TO MY WAITRESS IN THE CORNER AND MY WAITRESS STOP SERVING ME. I HAD TO FLAG HER DOWN AND ASK HER WAS SHE STILL SERVING ME. The initial feel when you walk in is it's fancier than most golden corrals but once in it really isnt... our waitress rarely came to our table and I mean extremely rarely to the point we almost had to get our own drinks... most of the silverware and plates were dirty... the gentleman on the grill was awesome and very very nice! For 110 dollars meal should have been so much better and it wasn't... Not planning to come back to this location....

I came in last night with my entire family, everyone was so excited, I made my plate with fried chicken, and some chicken and sausage paella, I had eaten some of my chicken and started eating the paella and noticed my throat getting tingly, turns out they LABELED THEIR SHRIMP PAELLA AS CHICKEN AND SAUASAGE. My husband had to call 911 and I went to the hospital. We paid for a buffet and got a hospital trip instead. They only refunded my plate, even though my whole family didn’t even get to finish their dinner. This place is dangerous!

James, MOD 01/3/26 unfortunately did not fulfill the leadership role on the above date and practiced poor managements. In addition the establishment was filthy. Three different plates and found hair in ALL 3! On my cauliflower and on my ribs were the first 2 plates. Although my hair is not shedding I thought maybe it’s mine. But nope! They’re just unhygienic in the kitchen. Plate 3, I found hair IN MY SOUR CREAM!!! When I spoke with James his response was, “that’s unfortunate, we wear hair nets so I don’t see how.” No apology, no refund offered, not a coupon or nothing. Just an inconsiderate, “that’s unfortunate.”

I ordered Thanksgiving dinner from this restauarant. When I came to pick up the dinner, this Hispanic lady said she did not have pumpkin pie and gave me pecan pie instead. She placed three boxes of food in a plastic bag and watched me leave. Twenty minutes later, I got a call from my wife that there were more foods that I was supposed to take. I had to drive all the way back. When I got home, my wife said there was no gravy for the turkey. That lady who works here needs to be fired.

I’m glad this wasn’t my first trip in Golden Corral. My previous experience in other branches were awesome, so I thought other branches won’t be that different. It proved me wrong. The reviews on Google Maps were pretty accurate. The cleanness in this branch needed to be improve A LOT. The environment was not proper cleaned and the tongs for the food for some reason were greasy, even the salad section. Need to go wash my hands every time after I went for food. The restroom was ok that day. I won’t say it was clean, but it was usable. The staff who grilled the steak had a good memory. He remembered our order and somehow he tried to limited the amount of steak we asked for. That was weird cos I went there the first round and my company went after me was told that I already got their steak so they came back with an empty plate. I did not experience this situation in other branches. I happened to see the staff rinse one second under the water before they cut the tomatoes, I don’t dare to eat the salad after. The steak was to salty compare to other branches. From my observation, the steak were already marinated, so they can’t undo anything with it. I would go or try other branches in the future, but not this one. Highly recommend to think twice before you visit this branch.
