DQ Grill & Chill Pearsall Reviews
I’ve never had a bad experience at this DQ. They make the best blizzards by far! Always extremely cold and if you ask for extra toppings you’ll get them. Maple valley DQ needs a lesson in making blizzards from this location!
Gabriel is a rock star. His natural kindness and attentiveness makes his customer service exceptional. Everything else was as it should be aside from the lobby soda machine needing some love. Keep up the good work 👍
Yesterday I did something I haven’t done in years. Forgot my purse in the booth I was eating at. Several hours later I called and they said they had it. I drove there as quickly as possible. Gabe - thank you. They were closed but told me to go through the drive through to pick up my bag. Nothing gone, cash still inside, my ID, my bank cards…. I am truly grateful there are still folks out there with morals. Gabe deserves a raise and all the kudos possible.
Stopped by tonight 01/07 at 8:10pm, their lobby had just closed for cleaning but drive thru was open. The employees were quick to help us & rang our order correctly. When I pulled up to the window the three gentleman working were professional & helping us while ensuring the lobby was cleaned. Very organized & great atmosphere. I will definitely be back for another ice cream cone.
It was definitely busy towards the time i came (night) 8-9pm. The customer service was pretty good considering the amount of people there was. At the window however, they seemed to be waiting on food for a long time. Considering we got our icecream order quick. Maybe more cook training? Only recommendation i have really, and it was very clean looking from my point of view which is definitely a surprise. So good on that part
Food was good. But the drive through was so slow. There over 15 minutes mostly waiting for a single car ahead of us.
Stopped in for blizzards. Currently they have some yummy specials. I got the s’mores blizzard. It was pretty good but they definitely not as full as I get at my local DQ. I usually get the rounded lid and it’s full. Other than that it was great. We also ordered cheese curds which were also delicious.
Ran in super quick to purchase an icecream cake. I was greeted by friendly staff and was helped right away. There were zero customers at the time. I did notice that it is very run down inside and didn't look very clean. I definitely don't recommend eating inside, hope the kitchen is maintained better than the dining area.
cant answer for the food star accordingly since i didnt even receive my food. i ordered for delivery threw the app and spent 80 dollars. it took an hour for it to get “delivered” and it not even get delivered. i do not know if they just left it at a different building and didnt bother finding the right one or if they just didnt deliver it period. but theres no photo of delivery and dairy queen refuses to answer their phones. the management here has been wack for years in person and online too i dont know how this is acceptable to dairy queen standards but i guess it is. hopefully we can get this sorted out.
Foods fine but Dairy Queen is too expensive for the amount of portions you get. Paid almost 30 dollars between a shake and a basket to get like 20 fries and a shake that you can't turn upside down (to that used to be the whole gimmick).
Used to love this place and haven't been the there in a long time, but I guess this place must be on their way out as well. Staff was super friendly and nice. Food was like stuff that's says we gave up. Sad day. This was the chicken stips. 😩 Another icon gone. 2 stars for the service only
We came here while visiting family and wanted a quick snack. There were only 3 cars in line, but we waited 20 minutes just to get to the order screen. Then another 20 minutes for food. The food was OK, but the blizzards didn't taste like ice cream. It was more like frozen milk. It wasn't creamy, and we were very disappointed in the flavors. NOT recommended!
Hello I know everywhere is charging more for meals, but we ordered two of the $7 meal deals, but come on. We understand not large fries, but at least fill the cup you give in. This is our fries for 2 adult meal deals. Not close to full or worth the money. Will not be getting meals here again if ever come back.
I don't eat the food, but I pick it up. Slow, makes mistakes often. The staff never really seems to know what's going on. You couldn't pay me to trust these people to make me food
Family has loved it here and I've rarely had any issues until today. Horrible service. No acknowledgement from cashier, she took the gentleman behind me while I was waiting at the register waiting for my online order after going thru the drive thru and being told to come inside. The lady down at the drive thru came over and acknowledged me. Definitely not coming back here. 2 other customers while waiting for my familes food was having issues with different parts of their service. Whatever happened to friendly basic service?
I ordered a meal from this Dairy Queen and received 3 patties, a slice of cheese, and 2 buns for a signature meal, priced at $20. Upon calling the store and speaking with Gabe he placed the blame on the internet and theres nothing he could do. Ive worked in fast food before but honestly was disappointed as to a manager quickly not wanting to find any resolution to a customer who usually enjoys Dairy Queen's service and meals. Seems the staff and cooks are lazy and management needs a bit of training when it comes to running a restaurant that serves the public.
The review is of the Auburn store Dairy Queen, on Auburn Way South just off 18. The manager served us, she is in her 50s with red hair. We went through the drive thru, and when served we noticed that one of the blizzards felt lighter than the other. We drove off and onto hwy 18. We found that one of the large blizzards, after eating about an inch and a half off the top, had one side that was completely hollow all the way to the bottom. The other blizzard was short about 1.5 to 2 inches from the top. This was not an employee in training, this was the manager of the store cheating customers. Were not happy with the store and although we were served promptly, we were short changed, or cheated. The store is known to have less than frozen ice cream. They don't like to flip the blizzard cup because the ice cream is too soft. This is bad management, do they really expect customers to return when they cheat them?
*UPDATE* I called to see if I can get an update on how I can get my refund and Samantha answer (she was the manager the first lady told me to speak with). I explained that I was calling in for an update on how I was to receive my refund and she immediately became incredibly rude, she did not like that I told her that her phone was breaking up (it sounded like she was away from the phone so she was cutting in and out) then she hung up on my face. I called corporate who told me there is nothing they can do since they are a franchise, the store manager has not called to help me with my refund. This is by far the worst customer service I have EVER seen in my life!!!! I went in on Saturday 10/26 to pick up an ice cream cake for my son's 9th birthday party. I ordered a 10 inch Oreo Cake. However, once I got in there the lady behind the counter asked me if I was there to pick up a cake, I said yes and she THEN informed me that they do not have the cake available. I asked her why they didn't give me a call and she lied and said she didn't have my information (I filled it out online). The only solution she came up with was to offer me either a peanut butter cup cake (my niece is deathly allergic to peanut butter) or refund me (my son's party started in less than an hour so I had zero time to go anywhere else). I ended up finding out an 8 inch cake that was Oreo and told them I would just take this one but I need a refund for the difference since I already purchased a 10 inch. She said the only way she can give me a refund was to refund me the entire amount then me paying out of pocket again for the 8 inch. I did not have the extra money to send another almost $50 for a cake. I explained I wanted to speak to a manager and she said she was the manager but she had upper managers that will come in the following day 10/27 and they will contact me. It is now Tuesday 10/29 and no one has called me, no one has issues me a refund for the difference. This ENTIRE experience has been HORRIBLE and I would NOT recommend going here not only for horrible customer service from ALL managers do not follow through when their customers have an issue. They still owe me money for the difference of the cake. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE IF I COULD GIVE A ZERO STARS I WOULD!!!
I ordered an Ice Cream Birthday Cake (~$60). I spoke with the staff on the phone explaining in detail what I needed it to say and look like. It ended up NOT being what I paid $60 for. There were NO decorations (I simply asked for something resembling fireworks for a 4th of July birthday ... NOTHING =( Also the handwriting was like that of a Kindergartener, VERY unprofessional.
These workers sucked the excitement and experience from my little 3 yr old who walked in excited for ice cream. The cashier was full of attitude, expressing her lack of patience in the form of loud body language while my little one provided their ice cream request. Definitely the 1st and last time I will give this Dairy Queen location any business with the lack of customer service. Not worth the experience.
If I could have given this location a 0, I would have. I ordered a cotton candy blizzard and it was super melted. I told the drive through attendant about it and she asked someone to remake it. She either gave me the same one back or their soft serve machine needs serviced. Very disappointed and dissatisfied.
Oh my goodness this place is terrible. The drive through employee basically yelled at me in the middle of my order. They forgot fries on two chicken baskets and he yelled at us again saying the fries were under the chicken (which they were not) because it wasn’t even in a basket like it normally is… no toast, no gravy, no dipping sauce. The soda tasted like it had been sitting out for 3 days. I called and asked for a refund and the guy on duty said Michelle his DM doesn’t allow him to do refunds? I’ve been coming here since the late 90’s. I know times are hard but not that hard. I want my money back, the burgers were literally not edible. I feel like I just got robbed for 50 bucks. Do not go here. You will probably get sick. I’m not kidding. Look at the photos. These burgers looked microwaved. No joke. I’ll be calling back on Sunday to talk with another manager that has permission to give refunds. I included my receipt on the photos with the order number. GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!
