Chinatown Kitchen Peekskill Reviews
Portion is a bit small. Everything else is good. Service was very good and quick. Price is very fair.
I get the shrimp and strin beans lunch special with white rice 🍚 😋 delicious
Great food ordered sesame chicken and steamed dumplings 😁🤤
This is my favorite Chinese spot. I feel like I believe in the princess treatment and they always get my order right. 9.5/10 would recommend
I like this place a lot, it's the closest thing we have to your standard NYC chinese takeout place near me. Combination meals are a great value, and if you go pick up you will also save a lot of money since Doordash are basically robbing us all blind. Five stars, this will likely be our regular spot for a bit.
I’m not a big Chinese food take out, however I wanted something different for dinner I’m new to the area. So I ordered the chicken & broccoli in garlic sauce with xtra onions on top with chicken fried rice I felt that they skimped on the garlic sauce overall it was decent food . As far as service I felt that there was a language barrier, atmosphere was clean quick and quiet not a hangout spot.
I went to Chinatown Kitchen for thirty years when I worked in the area. Solid Chinese take-out, same family for generations, and they got to know my preferences, such as adding hot chili oil to my takeout order without me having to ask. Good food, can't go wrong. I wish they were closer to me now.
The food is very tasty and still hot when they bring it to your door. I was impressed by the delivery guy's honesty. He alerted me I was giving him more money than the bill. I will definitely recommend this place for their food and their staff's integrity.
The reviews leave you thinking, you will either love it or hate it. 8 guys cooking and 2 women picking up no stop ringing phone orders. Got my shrimp egg fu young and went to hotel room. Was hot and smelled great. Mixed it all together and it came up short. It was so-so. Definitely filled the belly. YMMV
Arguably the best Chinese food spot in peekskill, food tastes fresh and never a stomachache! Delivery times seem to always be over an hour.
It’s okay for what it is. Tasted okay and the price isn’t so bad.
VERY hard to find great Chinese in the area, especially when you lived in NYC for years. That said, our favorite went out of biz, and this place is close and has been consistently very good. People who are asking for more than you get at take-out should chill!
The food is good, with good portions and good prices. The quality seemed inconsistent - the hot and sour soup is not hot and a little broth-y, but the vegetable moo shu was really great. The chicken and veg was very good, but the mixed vegetables did not have much variety at all. Delivery was no problem. Will likely not be my go-to place, but I'll probably order from here again.
The food is pretty good but can’t help but be disappointed that the seafood dishes are advertised as containing lobster/crab but it’s imitation lobster/crab.
Food and prices are similiar to all other Chinese food places in the area. Nothing stands out, the customer service, same. Very abrupt, no pleasantries certainly not welcoming, I guess you get what you pay for, convenient fast food. At least the place seems clean upon entry.
The worst chicken wings I’ve ever tasted from a Chinese food restaurant. Wish I could say something nice about the food but I was very disappointed.
“Stay away from this restaurant!” I ordered spare ribs, broccoli, General Tso's chicken, and an egg roll. The food wasn’t fresh. The chicken was tough and not fresh, and the broccoli and ribs were the same. The meat was dark in color and stale. Most of all, it didn’t taste fresh. I called to inform the staff, and of course, their reply was, 'It’s fresh!' No apologies at all." I will never go back!
workers are very rude, we asked if we can move the table a little out to make space for our family of 6 (two adults, 4 kids) She shook her head no and made a face. She gave a dirty STARE at my kids and I once she saw us enter the restaurant, so after not feeling welcomed, we decided to leave and find elsewhere. I used to be a loyal customer here, and after this incident, I will be finding a new chinese restaurant where I feel as where my money and time is appreciated.
Went to get takeout on mother's day, It use to be excellent, not this time wonton soup had no flavor just water, Chicken and broccoli, bland, pork lomein the same. Very disappointed, was great food, no very expensive ,small portions, and tasteless. I don't know if they changed ownership. Won't be going back
The best food. Very respectful my favorite place definitely will recommend good prices 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 After this post I received raw chicken shrimp wasn’t clean French fries were raw I called they said they were closing an they didn’t want to give me my money back.. very bad service.. i waited more than 2 hours for my food and it was cold.. I will never order from them again. After leaving them a good review.. it was really bad..
