La Herradura Peekskill Reviews
Food was delicious, good prices!!!
This is as traditional as traditional can get for Guatemalan food. This restaurant offers authentic food and even the way it’s laid out is just like in my country. Please do not come here expecting service or vibes like American restaurants. This is a homey authentic and relaxed environment. If you’re looking for clean delicious flavor this is it.
The food was sooooo good. I'm a vegetarian and most dishes had meat, but I had the pupusa combo and it was absolutely delicious. Very friendly too.
Tasty, amazing Guatemalan food. Best pork chops and onions I’ve ever had and the ceviche was out of this world. Service was great. Friendly and helpful.
Well it was excellent food and I haven't had Spanish food in a long time but it was an excellent dish and I enjoyed it. And I had a good time since my friends got married Jim and Alexandria
Great Guatemalan food.i had the ceviche con camaron, nice size portion with plenty of shrimp.i highly recommend this place if you like central American food. I definitely will be going back
The food is amazing. Great taste nice presentation and huge portions. The staff is friendly and attentive. Prices are great too. My girlfriend and I have been there twice and plan to stop in whenever were in the area. Its a great pit stop between Manhattan and a day at bear mountain. Nice clean little town. The restaurant and surrounding area is clean and quiet. We love the food!!
Great food, great service, nice cozy dining area. Reasonable pricing and you will be bringing home some tasty leftovers. I brought someone here who wanted a vegetarian dish, and the server was happy to accommodate by altering an existing one.
I don’t have a lot of experience with this cuisine. But I can say that the food was freshly prepared and quite tasty. Our waitress was extremely pleasant. The restrooms are superclean. We would definitely return. Although I do think that the beer was about a dollar too much per bottle.
If you want Spanish food at its finest !! And so much food that you'll get full but never will hurt your wallet you get more then you ask for this is the place for you and family . Well this is heaven !. Most friendliest staff you'll meet also if you dont know Spanish no problem they have English Translated menus even kid menus and a bar very clean Environment .Tables always cleaned and the fresh air mix with Spanish food cooking is great i would give La Herradura a 10 star rating if the let me
What a wonderful surprise and fabulous meal. Just going through the door youfind yourself south of the border. The food was perfectly spiced for flavor and not reliant on the heat from peppers to be great. The steak I had combined perfectly with the rice, beans, salsa and avacado. Fresh tortilla and best fried plantains I remember. Simple but perfectly selected and combined ingredients. Staff very kind and attentive and only spoke spanish but we all made it work. A lovely mini Mexican/Guatamalan vacation before heading out again into the snow. What a lucky find
Food/price good ! My only problem is that They don’t have an online menu so is hard to order for take out.
Disgusting place. Employees are rude. Don't come here
I was going to eat here. I parked to go get some coffee before going into the restaurant. And that took about 5 to 10 minutes. And I had a sticker on my car saying if I park here again my car will be booted. So they vandalized my car Before I could even get into the restaurant and try their food in a parking lot that is for the restaurant. Seems like a very hostile place. I definitely will not be trying. Be careful.
I had a very bad experience with this restaurant. The food was either undercooked or burnt. The servers were rude. And I saw a couple of cockroaches under my table.
