Arepa Pueblo Pembroke Pines Reviews
The food is amazing! I wish I could eat there everyday ❤️😋
I had a Venezuelan food experience at Arepa Pueblo, and it was good overall. We tried the shredded beef and cheese empanadas, and they were both freshly fried, perfectly crunchy and delicious. We also had the patacón with sweet plantains, which was huge! For drinks, we ordered a caramel latte and a cappuccino. The caramel latte was good but not the best we’ve had, though I appreciated that they made it darker as requested. The cappuccino was nice, and they offer different milk options, which is great. One highlight was the variety of sauces—they had a garlic-cilantro sauce, a spicy one with a nice kick, and a pink sauce. The only downside was that the prices felt a bit high, especially since it’s a self-service setup where you order at the register and then sit down. But overall, it was a solid spot for Venezuelan food here in Pines!
As Venezuelan I am always willing to try different arepas, this restaurant was beyond amazing and service was great. Coffees are very good here as well. For all vegan and lactose intolerant they also offered almond and coconut milk which I find to be very nice. I would definitely go back especially for the amazing service.
Our next family food adventure take us to Arepa plueblo located in Pembroke Pines with a category of 5.6 and more than 652 reviews, walking around we founded this place. Traditional Venezuelan decoration, I think that the owner's idea achieved its objective, that you feel like you are in the country of origin of the food they offer, which is very diverse and exquisite. The customer service is the best because it is a family business, they make you feel at home and the background music, if you are Venezuelan, transports you to Caracas. But the most special thing is the food we ordered Llanera arepa Two cheese empanadas A Cod Empanada Two passion fruit juices A medium latte Everything changes when you take your first bite. It was an incredible experience. The crunchy and fresh flavor of the ingredients make the perfect combination so that you have an explosion of flavors and memories on your palate. Thanks to Arepa Pueblo for this culinary experience that is difficult to forget.
Visited Arepa Pueblo for the first time and had a latte/cafe con leche paired with a steak arepa. The staff was incredibly friendly and helped me decide on my lunch. The hospitality and warmth were standout! I thoroughly enjoyed my coffee and arepa, though my preference is for a medium rare steak, and I'm accustomed to melted cheese. I understand Latin restaurants often cook meat well-done, and I'm not familiar with the typical Venezuelan arepa preparation. One thing to note is that this place leans on the pricier side, a trend becoming common everywhere. While I'd recommend and happily return, a slight improvement in both the quality and quantity of the meat would make it even better. Looking forward to my next visit at Arepa Pueblo! 🙌🏽
Excellent mom and pop store in central Pembroke Pines. Have plenty of tables to sit down. Staff and atmosphere was also great especially for families. For a family of four the price will be arround 65-70.
I love this spot! For breakfast, lunch or dinner! I am currently pregnant, and all this baby wants for breakfast lately is an arepa with huevos pericos and white shredded cheese. There empanadas are great, and so are the tequeños. Their seasoning reminds me of my mom and her mom’s. I’m obsessed. If I don’t have time to go, or am too busy, I just get it off of Uber Eats! Highly recommend it! 🥰
Delicious food! My Venezuelan wife approves. I had the steak arepa which I loved. My wife had the avocado and chicken salad which she enjoyed too. Their tequenos we're just like her mother's. I highly recommend!
Ordered the stuffed shredded beef arepa, and man, they are good!! I really like how cheesy they are. Great salsa options as well.
Outstanding. Finally! A small business offering authentic Venezuelan food that truly tastes like home. No gimmicks, no fancy new recipes, just delicious, true, perfectly cooked treats and full meals that will satisfy all kinds of clients. I really enjoy their arepas and empanadas. Their arepas come with all the different fillings you would find at any arepera in Venezuela. Their shredded meat and gouda is amazing. The Reina pepeada which has avocado and chicken salad is mouthwatering deliciousness. Their empanadas are on the small side so you can taste all the flavors; they are crunchy and delicious. Their coffee is perfection. The Christmas menu is amazing! Hallacas, pan de jamón and ensalada de gallina are all perfectly cooked and so flavorful! Stop by, come back for more, repeat.
I was taking my grandmother to a doctor’s appointment and wanted to stop by for a coffee afterwards. I found Arepa Pueblo and it literally a jem! The place was very beautiful, clean, and welcoming. Jeffery was kind, passionate, and professional. They make everything in house and use organic beans for coffee. The coffee, cappuccinos, and empanadas were AMAZING!! I would definitely come back and recommend.
Place is amazing and consistent at being amazing. Vegan arepa is amazing 🔥. And shredded beef arepa is sooo good. Hard to stay away. It’s truly the best meal for breakfast / lunch. Sometimes it gets me thru all day 😝 Place your order 20 min ahead of time and it will be ready guaranteed.
I most have been from Venezuela in my last life I just love their food . This places is so nices and clean, I come here to eat my Venezuela Empanadas.
Prime example of a family business who cares about quality and customer service. The place is super clean and the food is super fresh along with being easily the best Venezuelan Arepas in broward county. Cafe con leche is also on point here! Great place to have a breakfast of brunch.
Arepa Pueblo is one of those small hidden gems you stumble upon by accident and end up returning to hundreds of times. In fact, this restaurant is my go to when I want quantity Venezuelan comfort food in the South Broward. Their homemade arepas are made with fresh ingredients and are the best I’ve ever had outside of South America. They’re served up in a quaint, friendly and inviting location just off Palm Ave and Johnson St in Pembroke Pines. Try them out…. You’ll be glad you did!!
Great food and even better customer service. I will definitely be coming back to this place regularly. Btw, their coffee looks and tastes amazing!! Please give them a try!
Love this place! The food is fantastic, the staff is friendly and the restaurant itself is clean and relaxing
The pumpkin soup is so good! Get it when you can. Their coffees are always divine as well.
Wow is been lots of years since I've had an Arepa this good, the ingredients like Carne des-mechada was amazing, the arepas are made to perfection this is going to be my go to place for real arepa gravings for now on and the service is great with a homi feel to it all, the empanadas are not so great but again the ingredients are so goood, I highly recommend this place. Don't forget the chicha soo good.
I got an Uber Eats from here and will probably do so again. I got a chorizo arepa and a chicken empanada. The arepa was really good and I thought the sausage was cooked to perfection. There was this salsa sort of thing that came with it that was amazing. The empanada was also really nice and the crust had a nice texture to it.
This is my first time here and definitely not the last, I love it! The food is really good and tasty, the place is cozy and the service exceptional. Today I tried Empanadas (shredded beef and chicken), chicha and Papelon con Limon
Awesome place, awesome service, awesome food. We have ordered to pick up as well as delivery, this place never disappoints, every arepa is better than the one before and the price is just right.
Awesome food and outstanding customer service. The place is very clean. It's rustic decorated and looks great. Very inviting and welcoming. I very highly recommend it.
Tasty Arepas packed with your choice of meat, and a variety of toppings. There are also several juices and drinks available. Ordered a chicken arepa with rice and beans, and it was delicious. The coffee is outstanding as well.
Just picked up their lunch special! Don’t remember the name of it but it was delicious! Best tres leches I ever had also! Hidden gem.
Amaaaaaazing arepas!!! Kind service and lovely Venezuelan atmosphere! Also something we hadn’t had before that was great was the tunapepiada pescatarian version of reina pepiada. Tequeños were great too and passion fruit juice. Tables socially distanced
The quality of the food they serve is amazing and the service is great. Probably one of the best Venezuelan restaurants in South Florida!
I went here with a friend that recommended this place and we had a meet up for lunch. It was absolutely amazing and so was the service 🤩 the arepa I had was fresh and delicious! We went with two toddlers and they were so toddler friendly and gave us our space to enjoy our lunch. It’s definitely a yes for me! Currently ordering again on UBER eats 💖
I eat here about once every two weeks with my friends. We play games next door at unfunstuff games, and Arepa has great service and food for a good price, fairly quick. Highly recommended from us.
This place is so amazing!! The customer service was top notch. Everyone is so nice and friendly. True Latin people. The food is incredible and fresh. The yuca teqeños were incredible. I will come back and rave about it to all my friend and family <3
This is one of my favorite local restaurants in Pembroke Pines! The Arepas and Empanadas are made fresh daily and recipes are very exquisite and flavorful. My personal favorite are shredded chicken and shredded beef empanadas and arepas! Their Coffee taste amazing and their iced nutella coffe its to die for. The costumer service its the cherry on top. The front counter lady, Domenica , its really sweet and attentive with all the costumers. Also really helpful at suggesting really good options from the menu. The Owner, Mariela, its a really sweet lady that knows her customers and greet them by calling them by their names and establishing that 1 on 1 connection. Really attentive and nice person with blessed hands because all te recipes are hers and everything its delicious. The kitchen employees are also very kind and nice people. They make you feel like the Mayor of the city, they make you feel welcome and apreciated. Definetly its a very delightful experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great food and Services. Venezuelan family runs the business. I have the pleasure to be introduced to the cook. A Venezuelan strong women who express her love on every dishes. Do not hesitate If u are in the mood to experience real Venezuelan food. This is the right place
Love the food, they always bring amazing quality Arepa Pueblo has the best jugo de mora I’ve ever tasted👍🏽
We had an exceptional dining experience at Arepa Pueblo yesterday. My family of seven enjoyed a variety of dishes including empanadas, arepas, and patacones. Every bite was incredibly fresh, just cooked, and absolutely delicious. The service was outstanding, reflecting the warmth and care of a family-run establishment. It truly felt like we were having dinner at our aunt's house. Arepa Pueblo offers a very good restaurant experience with excellent food. Do not hesitate to visit!
This place is awesome, I remember them from the day they opened! Several businesses in the plaza closed in the meantime but I'm glad they're still here! Best food ever, also they make really good coffee and they make real OJ. The inside is exotic in a pleasant way, and there's different sitting options. The prices have gone a bit up over the years but their food is worth it. Make it a point to stop by and grab something if you're in the area!
Everything was sooo delicious!!!! My only issue was my fault :D I ordered 5 Taquenos.... I think I received a box of 20 or so... LOL... oops! Seems there are 4 in an order. The food was super tasty!!!! Between the 3 of us, we had like 8 taquenos left over anyways LOL. so it was worth it~
An absolute favorite of mine, I would eat here every day if I could. I’ve driven 4 hours with the sole intention of eating this arepa. I would highly recommend giving it a try if you have not. No matter what arepa I’ve ordered (or the tostones con carne) I’ve always been completely satisfied. Over the holidays I placed 3 orders in less than 24 hours. As a picky eater, this is approved.
We were in the area, and wanted to eat Venezuelan food. Looked at all the good reviews and decided to try it for ourselves. WOW!!! Amazing food! Great prices! And excellent service. We will definitely drive down from West Palm Beach to eat here! 💯% recommend this place.
The best Venezuelan restaurant in Broward County
I ordered fish empanadas, and they were delicious. The service was excellent, and the restaurant was spotless.
Their empanada here are delicious. You can see the quality of the ingredients vs. other places where the meat looks like a paste. The grilled beef arepa was very good. Ask for some of their house hot sauce. 🔥 The cafe con leche was on the more leche side for my liking but not bad overall. Will be coming back to try other items on the menu.
This is such a cute little place with great Venezuelan food. Their empanadas are incredibly although they can be a bit greasy. The place isn't anything fancy but they keep it really tight and clean. I have ordered delivery a few times and the food comes out pretty quick. I have really enjoyed the food from Arepa Pueblo. Prices are ok
Most Delicious Empanadas de pollo ( SO FRESH) I’ve had the Arepa de pollo , But next I can’t wait to eat the vegan 🥑 one looks amazing thanks again see you soon!
Deliciously seasoned food. Wonderful costumer service. Not fast food. Most items prepared to order so you get beautiful freshly cooked empanadas and fresh arepas. Fresh squeezed orange juice, other delicious juices, imported refreshments and candy. Good coffee. Looking forward to returning frequently.
Everything about this place is incredible! From the service to the food. We were greeted right away from the lovely cashier Jeffrey who explained the menu throughly. My boyfriend and I came here for lunch and we had the shredded beef arepa 10/10, chorizo arepa, Nutella cappuccino, mini cheese arepas and delicious Colombian sodas. Everything was so flavorful and melted in our mouths. The price point was very inexpensive for the quality of the meats and experience. They also have vegan options, Gulten free options and a great lunch special!! Highly recommend arepa pueblo!!! Can’t wait to come back 😊
Food of this place is absolutely delicious every time I go. The arepas are so yummy!!! Place is always clean, everyone is very friendly and helpful . I have also tried the coffee which I love too, I highly recommend this restaurant.
Been coming every Saturday since they opened. This place is absolute perfection! I’ve never came and had anything taste off, cold, NOTHING. They consistently deliver not only amazing customer service, but quite possibly the greatest arepa you’ve ever had. Hands down the best café con leche in south Florida. LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!
I ordered the pabellon arepa off ubereats and it was Amazing! So delicious and fresh.. The meat was seasoned to perfection.. I got mines with no sweet plantains.. I also ordered a passion fruit juice and a tres leche that was delicious as well! Also the guy that answered the phone was very sweet and had great customer service. I'll definitely be ordering again.. 5 stars!
Fantastic food! The tostones with grilled steak are out of this world!!! The arepas are delicious, everything is freshly made and tou can taste it. The empanadas are crispy and they have an amazing flavor! The staff is super friendly and the place is cozy to dine in. As a right now I just have positives things to describe this amazing restaurant. Highly recommended if you want to taste the real south American flavor.
Come here about twice a week! Great establishment where I experienced authentic Venezuelan cuisine in a market filled with Americanized fluff! Anthony and the owners have an excellent plan for the restaurant and are constantly making improvements every time I visit. I recently tried their plant based option which is made with impossible foods meat replacement! Specifically the vegan empanadas made with impossible ground “meat”. As far as I know this is the first place to use the substitute in such a way.
Excellent food, pricey but authentic and delicious
I recently visited Arepas Pueblo, and it exceeded all my expectations! friendly staff made me feel like I was stepping into a little corner of Venezuela, The sauces were a standout feature for me, I started with their Cachapa, then Patacon relleno and it was phenomenal. The arepas, crispy on the outside, soft and warm on the inside. Each bite was a perfect balance of savory and sweet. If you’re craving authentic arepas or looking to try something new, this place is a must-visit! I left feeling full, happy, and eager to return to explore the rest of the menu.
We went to have dinner before going back to orlando and was the best decision!! Food amazing!! La Cachapa was great! La Arepa de carne Mechada Con Queso Amarillo tested so good. Everything was fresh made at the moment! People are friendly. For sure i will come back any time i can.
I love Arepa Pueblo. They make true Venezuelan specialities. Everything is made fresh daily in house. The appetizers are a great way to get started or perfect if you just want a quick snack. The arepas are a nice size and stuffed with delicious things like chicken or beef with cheese and avocado. I was amazed how much they stuffed into what we ordered. Go with a friend and share or being it home for later. You won't be hungry after eating here.
As a Venezuelan I enjoy looking for places that stand out with the food from my country, this being said, this place offered the best arepa I have ever had in my life (not counting my mothers). The ambient makes you feel comfortable and at home, with very nice service and typical music. Definetly a place to check out for their different foods.
Excellent, delicious food, great service (delivery through Uber Eats)! My friends at the party loved the different Venezuelan appetizers! Thank you!!
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Pembroke Pines! It’s authentic, tasty and fresh. Their arepas are filled to the brim with the toppings of your choice. I recommend the pernil, with gouda cheese, black beans and maduros. And their tostones were nice and crispy on the outside, with a soft inside. The green garlic sauce is also my fave! I’ve been coming here for years! The staff is friendly and accommodating. Support a small Latino business!
Best best best experience as far as Venezuelan food is concerned. Anthony ( one pf the co owners ) along with his Mom Mariela, took care of our visit. Food is well made, with love, attention to detail is obvious, coffee is just perfect. I am sure they use arabica beans ( not burnt) the milk perfectly frothed, custom packaging. Plantains well ripped, Very very nice.
My husband and I have been eating here since we move to Pembroke Pines. Love the service, food and Atmosphere. We usually do take-out but have eaten here a couple times. We love the food it tast home cooked, fresh, and its mouth watering good. I recommend this place to anyone who ask me for Arepas or Venezuelan food. I ordered the chicken soup today because I was feeling under the weather and it tastes just like my grandmother used to make it. Highly recommend eating here.
If you are in the Pembroke Pines area, and you like to eat very tasty, original flavors, made with high quality ingredients at very affordable prices, you have to explore this restaurant. You will be greeted by Jeffrey, the owner a very nice and polite person!
I abs Love Arepa Pueblo! The arepas are delicious, the staff is very friendly, and the place feels so cozy. Such a great spot definitely recommend.
Arepa Pueblo is amazing! I tried the cachapas and empanadas and they were absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavor and made fresh. The service was friendly, the place was clean, and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. A perfect spot to enjoy true Venezuelan food in Miramar.
All the food we had here was awesome. Enjoyed their arepas, tequeños, empanadas, and coffee. You can order the arepas filled with different items and they're great for any meal. One stuffed arepa is filling, get two and your stuffed. The staff was friendly and attentive.
Cachapa was the same as our country Venezuela, I highly recommend this dish. Wonderful experience. Hey girls I don't forget the review today for you. Thanks
Absolutely amazing. For me it is only about the food topic here.... Service..... not a great experience but it could be base on singular point of view. The owner of this restaurant is so humble positive and heartwarming person. Again the food is the best. Highly recommended. I could give 5 stars if it was not because the waiter at that momment.
I love the arepa pabellón and reina pepiada, we also tried their ground beef empanada and it is really good. If you order to dine in the food does take a while for it to be ready. I normally call in 20 min before so it is ready when I get there. Highly recommend it.
I had the best empanadas on the planet here yesterday. The woman at the register was sweet and friendly and the restaurant was spotless. I'll be back 😆
Purchase 2 portions Fried Plantains (take out) Advise will take 10 minutes. In a good matter that's good cause will be fresh. My wife said the plantains were that good, but me been hungry ate 3/4 of the portion. To me she was right, but when hungry I have to eat. Last time was Awesome but not today :(
*This review is based off a delivery order.* Food seemed to be ready fast. But I agree with others here on the empanadas seeming off. They definitely weren’t Venezuelan imo. They weren’t necessarily bad, just... odd.
I came with my family and we each ordered separate things. The coffee tasted like it was a day old and the white green sauce was watery. The cheese in the cheese arepa came out cold. The recipes need a little more flavor, the arepas tasted a bit bland. The attendant was really nice and sweet. Overall nice atmosphere but the food could use some work.
I had one queso de mano arepa and 1 coffee and paid $15 , the arepa was nothing to write home about, with just one little slice of cheese, I will not return. The gentleman who was in the register felt attacked when I gave him my opinion which i did because he asked.I am venezuelan but I try to avoid venezuelan places, really expensive, and you can get more and less expensive in other latino food places
Never have I seen a owner lash out at a customer for getting a knife (mind you he left them out on a table , a health code violation) and then act as if he were right , very disrespectful, food was cold , wouldn’t recommend it too anyone , and that comes from someone who’s owned a restaurant for 15 years
For 8.50$ this was the most underwhelming thing I’ve ever eaten. The arepa de pernil was just chunks of pork inside of an arepa. I expected much more value at this price point. As a dish it felt rushed and unfinished, ultimately unsatisfying. The pork, though tasty, was dry, and without any sauce or garnish this was unbelievably difficult to eat. Having grown up eating arepas my whole life, I was disappointed, wouldn’t recommend nor would I return any time soon.
Bad to the bone this place sb called.....never again im eating at a venezuelan place , their " cuisine " sucks ....a lot of people told me, I didnt want it to believe it, now I know....venezuelan " cuisine " is pretty bad
