My husband and I went here during our honeymoon and were beyond impressed by the quality of the food, the care of the staff, and the kindness at this restaurant. They were very accommodating and knowledgeable of food allergens and cross contamination, and went above and beyond to make sure I could eat there safely. We will definitely be returning during future trips to the beautiful panhandle!

If your girl is trying to get a “perhaps not”… PLEASE take her to George Bistro + Bar… We’ve been here for almost 2 years & somehow never got around to trying this place until tonight! The food is insane! Huge portions.. seasoned perfectly. I had absolutely no complaints.. Even the service was amazing! It’s such a cute atmosphere… & we will 100% be back! Also, it is kid friendly! Not Pictured: ❤️ George Fries - hand cut fries, andouille sausage, cremini mushrooms, parmesan, feta, rosemary, sea salt, served with curry ketchup, basil aioli, chipotle aioli… ✨ I would rate these a 20/10 if I could! I have never had fries this good possibly in my entire life! ✨ ❤️ Kid’s Menu - Grilled Cheese - Brioche bun with cheddar cheese & a side of fresh fruit ✨ If our daughter could tell you how it was, she’d probably rate it a 20/10. It was devoured! ✨ Pictured: ❤️ Ribeye Steak Frites (except we subbed asparagus as we already had fries for an appetizer) - 16oz. split bone-in CAB ribeye, topped with herb butter, served with hand cut rosemary sea salt fries or mixed greens salad ✨ My husband has rated this a 9/10! He said the ribeye was REALLY good… great char. It was a perfect medium rare! He said them were some thicc boiz (the asparagus)! 😂 ✨ ❤️ Filet Mignon - 8 oz. sous vide filet mignon, black garlic dolce gorgonzola Amish butter, roasted fingerling potatoes, grilled asparagus, bouquet of fresh herbs in lemon dressing ✨ Delicious! It was soooo perfectly cooked… like butter melting in your mouth! Amazing asparagus.. Crispy smashed fingerling potatoes with a garlicky lemony finish. 20/10 ✨ ❤️ Turtle Cheesecake ✨ My husband gives it a 7.5/10! It was good, but not his favorite.. We didn’t ask if it was made in house.. but to me it was nice! It had a very buttery taste.. ✨ ❤️ Pumpkin Spice Crème Brûlée ✨ We both give this a 20/10… very basic.. very mindful… very demure… very delicious! It was without being overwhelmingly sweet (again, this restaurant has seasoning.. & sweets down pat!) like a pumpkin pie.. the top layer was torched to perfection & garnished with a fresh whipped cream & pumpkin seeds! The inside was just enough pumpkin to custard.. perfect spice blend! Our baby also really loved it! ✨ Overall, we were really impressed! This is the place to go for a date night.. or honestly just for a foodie adventure.. My taste buds were going on a trip & im here for it! I was extremely hesitant that we were underdressed, but there was guests there in every attire.. We were able to sit outside.. the weather was beautiful.. the vibes were immaculate! Great lighting! Please check this place out especially if you’re new to the area! You won’t regret it! ❤️ Thank you for coming to my TED Talk. 😂

8/6/25: George's is consistently some of the best food I've ever eaten. It never fails to disappoint. Great cocktails, wonderful servers, and good atmosphere to boot. Wherever you are, it's worth coming here! ----------------------------------------- 8/1/24 UPDATE: Came back a year later and still got the same great food and excellent service. It's so good that I proposed to my GF here. Thanks to our server, Faith, for being our impromptu photographer 📸 Got the durock porkchop with grits and Swiss chard, Alfredo pappardelle, mushroom soup of the day, and key lime infused creme brulee. Highly recommend it all! ------------------------------- 2023: Amazing food and service here. Definitely on the pricer side, so keep that in mind. You do get a great quality meal for what you pay for though! My only advice is ask your server how big the serving size is if you have a big appetite like I do!! They're very knowledgeable of the menu. I had the grouper and my girlfriend had the braised short ribs with mushroom ravioli. Both were insanely delicious, but my grouper was a rather small portion. Luckily my GF is a light eater and had a good sized plate, so I got to eat some of hers. I heard that the lamb chop was pretty good sized, FYI. Their dessert is to die for btw! Check this place out if you're looking for something light, delicious, and if you don't mind spending a bit more for the quality.

Wonderful food! This was one of the very best meals we have ever experienced. Jay our server was the best server. He knew the dishes by memory and explained them beautifully to us. He let us relax and timed the food perfectly. He is the very best!! Thank you Jay! We had the halibut and the Grouper and the tuna appetizer and the butternut squash soup. I loved every bite! It was so beautifully created. I love this restaurant. This is the place for us when we're in Pensacola.

Delicious homemade food. Noodles were even handmade! Did not disappoint. Definitely expect to spend more when eating here but know youre getting the best food and service.

The food here was amazing, really nice flavor to everything I had! I had the virgin espresso martini, the shortrib mushroom ravioli, and fig and pear ricotta. All recommended dishes, unless you don't like the taste of mushrooms, then the ravioli would probably not be the best for you.

Fantastic from start to finish! My husband and I came to celebrate our anniversary and it was perfect! Our server was very hip and knowledgeable about every item on the menu and she made our 1st visit memorable. I honestly can't wait to go back! Everything we ordered was so delicious and presented beautifully! Will definitely recommend!

I just keep coming back, it's consistently amazing! My most recent visit was for a date night with my wife and we simply had a fabulous time. The food was fresh and delicious, the drinks were smooth and the atmosphere as always was pleasant and sophisticated. I have yet to be disappointed at George Bistros and promise if you go you will love your experience. A couple food highlights, the octopus starter is amazing! Super tender and flavorful. The seasonal grouper is also fantastic, highly recommend both of these!

George’s Bistro was absolutely fantastic. Jennifer made our dinner fantastic! Her recommendations were spot on and she was very attentive. My filet was like butter melting in my mouth. I could not be more pleased. Thanks, Jennifer and George’s Bistro!

This is our go to place for celebrating something special. My boyfriend and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary here, as well as his acceptance into a Master's program. We could not have had a better experience. You make a reservation and we prefer to enjoy a nice quiet spot outside. The service is always great despite the crowd, and the food is always SO delicious! Everything, drinks, desserts, appetizers, and specials are never anything except incredible. Over time we have gotten the peach salad, Alfredo Pappardelle, Grilled Duroc Pork chop, Seared Scallops, & fries, and they were all absolutely amazing. The pork was moist and tender, perfectly seasoned. Excellent truffle oil and mushrooms in the pasta. The fries are a must for an appetizer. We also got to try their St. Patricks Day specials, including a perfectly balanced matcha creme brulee and the world's best lamb pie. Delicious champagne as well. The atmosphere overall was warm and friendly. This was a great experience and we will be back!

If you’re in Pensacola and haven’t been to George’s Bistro + Bar, you’re seriously missing out. We stopped in for dinner and every single thing we ordered was absolutely incredible. The Wagyu strip special was cooked to perfection — tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I loved the little palate cleanser salad served alongside it. It was light, fresh, and the perfect bite between tastes of that rich, buttery Wagyu. The Brussel sprouts were crispy, caramelized, and packed with flavor — probably the best I’ve ever had. And whatever you do, don’t skip the George Fries. They’re a must-order. The flavors in those fries work together so well, it’s honestly one of the best things I’ve eaten in a long time. Our waiter George (yes — George at George’s!) was incredible. He took the time to guide us through the menu and made recommendations that let us taste a little of everything. I’ve never had a server so confidently and accurately recommend an entire meal before. Every single suggestion was spot on. We’re already planning to come back the next time we’re in town. Highly recommend this spot — 10/10.

It is one of the absolute best restaurants in Pensacola. Came in for my wife's birthday, and our Filets were spectacular. Perfect cut of meat and perfectly cooked. The smashed, crispy potatoes served with it were crunchy and wonderfully salty. We tried a few cocktails, and all were perfectly mixed and well-balanced. Highly recommend George's to anyone wanting an upscale restaurant in the area!

This is such a lovely restaurant. The food is absolutely amazing, every dish we have tried is delicious. Especially their bone marrow appetizer. Cocktails are beautifully presented and hit the spot every time. The wait staff is also extremely professional and friendly. Shout out to Kylie for her grace and kindness on Mother’s Day and George today for lunch! Yes I went two days in a row 😬 it’s that good. Can’t wait to keep visiting and trying new items on the menu. Updated my review- added more photos of the DELICIOUS food. Best kale salad. Super yummy homemade pasta. Every time I visit I am impressed and so happy with the food and service. Forever 5 stars

We made reservations for the outside area on the same day and they made sure the fans were running. The food was top notch and flavorful, refills were prompt, satisfaction checks were frequent. The Summer Peach Salad and Hugo Spritz is a very refreshing mix after a hot day! If you prefer indoor seating, you may want to ensure you’re planning way ahead of time.

went for a brunch date with my husband and it was delicious! we both got a latte (salted rosemary and the ube, both very very delicious), sweet potato bisque, and french toast. we shared the entire meal (minus our drinks) and it was PLENTY of food! super quick, friendly service. it was extremely busy so make a reservation if you can! we left feeling very satisfied and we will be back for brunch!

This is hands down my favorite restaurant. I keep waiting for the ball to drop and to leave disappointed but it hasn’t happened yet. I’ve celebrated 3 birthdays here. The food is divine. The George fries are a part of my identity. The mini cream cakes are luscious and perfectly seasoned. They’re filled with nice lumps of crabs. My friend ordered the lobster roll and side salad. The salads are fresh. The lobster roll was stuffed. The Parmesan truffle fries were crisp and perfectly soft in the center. We both ordered a cocktail. The paper plane is a staple. I tried the lychee rose spritz. They were both yummy! We decided to end our meal with lattes to go. Not too sweet. A perfect ending. The service was impeccable. I think our server’s name was Sue. I struggle to remember. She was attentive but not overbearing. Incredibly kind and thoughtful with her recommendations. She was absolutely lovely. I can’t thank her enough for how she treated us on my special day. Will return!

I’m a big foodie. I wish I would known about this place sooner. That’s the type of place I would give way more than 5 stars if I could. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It’s classy, delicious and a celebration in my mouth. I’ve been a flight attendant who was traveling all over the world and my food expectations is high. This is by far the best restaurant I’ve visited in Pensacola and Florida. I just wanna go back again and again. Was interesting for me to learn about the chef and understand more about the journey he took to create such a delicious unique place. We’ll definitely be visiting it as much as we can while we’re here.✨also the drinks are on point. Thank you for making me happy !

George’s Bistro was recommended by our hotel concierge. She raved on the Very Berry French toast so I had to try it. I got the 1/2 portion and I’m glad did as the 1/2 portion was huge. My husband got the Coastal Omelette and it was super flavorful and yummy. Be sure to ask for Katie to serve you. She is very knowledgeable and gracious to accommodate your needs. The decor is stunning with modern touches. And everything was very clean. If we lived here, I would be here every weekend. My only complaint is it was very cold, but in their defense we were the first people to arrive. I think it probably gets warmer through the day.

Brunch at George Bistro + Bar was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. It was modern but still cozy with just the right buzz of conversation in the air. We started with the Coastal Omelette, and it was absolutely spot on. Light and fluffy, filled with fresh seafood and vibrant vegetables that gave every bite a burst of coastal flavor. It is the kind of dish that feels both comforting and refined. On the side, we shared the Truffle Parmesan Fries, which were addictive to say the least. Perfectly crispy and golden with just the right balance of earthy truffle and salty parmesan. They are a must order if you are a fan of elevated comfort food. The standout for creativity was definitely the Bread Pudding Benedict. It was a genius twist on a brunch classic. Rich and slightly sweet bread pudding as the base, topped with perfectly poached eggs and a silky hollandaise that brought everything together. It was indulgent without being overpowering, and every element was thoughtfully balanced. Of course, no brunch is complete without a good cocktail, and their Espresso Martini did not disappoint. Smooth with a bold coffee flavor and just a touch of sweetness. Exactly what you want to sip on to wrap up a great meal or kickstart the rest of your day. Overall, George Bistro truly delivers with creative dishes, high quality ingredients, and a relaxed yet upscale vibe. The service was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot I will be returning to whether for brunch or to explore more of their menu!

First time patron that had lunch at George today. What a find! This restaurant had a great menu, excellent service and the food was awesome! The drink selection was fantastic. Our server, Katie, was extremely knowledgeable of the menu selections. Such a wonderful brunch experience! Will definitely be back.

Amazing service and food. Make reservations because it was packed. We arrived 45 minutes earlier than our reservation time, and the only inside table available was a high top next to the bar. They have a beautiful outdoor section, but it was just too hot for us. When the server asked if it was our first time and we said yes, she insisted on finding us a nicer table inside and moved us to a more spacious area. The George Fries were to die for…perfectly crispy and full of flavor with all the toppings and sauces. The sausage on the fries was quite spicy, but delicious! My husband said the salmon cake appetizer was wonderful. He also had the angus burger and loved it. You could tell they are careful not to mix the meat up too much because it was crumbly soft and very juicy. I had the quiche, which was freshly baked with the best croissant-like flaky crust. We would’ve loved to try all the other menu selections like the shrimp and grits and bread pudding dish. This is a MUST if you’re staying anywhere near Pensacola. I’ll be craving those fries next time I order Aussie fries at Outback 🥴.

We are visiting from NC and came here to try some good food and it didn’t disappoint. The cucumber basil martini is a MUST!! Sooo light and refreshing. Now it isn’t cheap but is that really a problem? They have good salads - maybe a little too much kale but we ordered the special which was the Salmon Croquette sandwich and the Avocado Power Bowl. I’d maybe get the Greek salad next time but it was honestly tossed perfectly. Great time, great atmosphere. Happy to come visit without my kids :)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Had an incredible Sunday brunch date on the patio at George Bistro + Bar. The atmosphere was cozy, stylish, and welcoming—perfect for a laid-back but elevated meal. I ordered the shrimp and grits, and they were hands down the best I’ve ever had. The truffle fries? To die for. Crisp, flavorful, and honestly worth the visit on their own. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and everything from the vibe to the plating felt thoughtful and well-executed. Highly recommend for brunch or a casual upscale bite in Pensacola. We’ll definitely be back.

I feel SOOOOOO bad. For years, I was looking at the menu for this place online. I'd say to myself, "got dang, this is the whitest white person menu I ever did see, I bet you all the food is bland up in here." Came here today because a friend insisted. I have never had such flavors on my palette, not since I was in culinary school. These people know what they're doing, and they do it well. I suggest you give them your money, your mouth will thank you.

George Bistro was great as usual. My wife's burger was not quite done enough, so they brought a whole new burger, including fresh fries and egg. It is hard to find great food and even harder to find great food and great service. George Bistro does both!

Was visiting Pensacola for several days and yesterday, Sunday night, my friend asked me to join him at George’s. The server, Amy, was AWESOME!!! She was funny, knew her “stuff” and was a step above. The food did not disappoint at all. What a GREAT dining experience from the beginning to end. BRAVO

People say you eat first with your eyes. From the moment the ceramic clanks in the waiter’s hands and your head spins round in anticipation that your dish has proceeded forth from the kitchen, it is utter delight. The crispy edges and soft center of the bread, you feel the tactile sensation on your tongue from sight alone. Then the delicacy and playfulness of the ricotta with the sweetness of a subtle pea puree. Finally when the eating commences and the dream becomes reality, you become truly satiated.

George Bistro + Bar in Pensacola was a fantastic dining experience. We started with some delicious appetizers and followed up with entrées that did not disappoint—the duck and ribeye were both perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The smoked Old Fashioned was a standout, smooth and well-balanced with that extra flair from the smoke. Great atmosphere, attentive service, and quality food and drinks all around. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in Pensacola! PS: Nate our server was fantastic.

The burrata salad was fresh and gorgeous, the lobster Benedict was rich and delicious (that hollandaise?! omg), and the quiche was flaky perfection. Super cute spot, great service, and everything looked and tasted amazing. 10/10 would brunch again.

This is my favorite restaurant in the whole world. Every single time I’ve gone it’s been nothing but an amazing experience. The service is always top notch and the food is always on point every single time. The waitress we had yesterday was Ms. Nadine and she was so awesome I couldn’t help but make sure I did a review this time to let the world know she deserves all the smiley face and gold star stickers. She was so incredibly sweet and patient, communicated the specials without missing a single beat, and gave me awesome recommendations. I got the Snapper based on her recommendation and it was incredible. I also want to say the consistency with the quality of the food I’ve experienced here is unmatched. It’s just an awesome place and it makes me so happy when I get to eat here. The beef carpaccio is to die for too.

George Bistro + Bar pushes all the right buttons. Quaint setting with an excellent back porch to dine on. Super attentive and accommodating service with spot on advice. Portion sizes were just right. Finished up three meals with only a small box to go. Best of all was the food itself. Unique takes on some regular type breakfast items provided delicious flavors with every bite. Definitely a return spot for us.

We have been regulars at George since 2020 and have honestly never had a bad experience. The food is amazing but what keeps us coming back is the attentive, knowledgeable, and extremely friendly staff. The service is truly top notch. They also have the BEST cocktails in town with many on a seasonal rotation. It’s a win all around!

A

A friend recommended George Bistro + Bar for dinner, and they did not disappoint. The food was delicious, the service was top notch, and for the price point this beats out almost all other restaurants. As appetizers we got the Bone marrow and Octopus. They gave us 4 bones, which is way more than what you'd get at any other restaurant. And the octopus was cooked correctly, a perfect bite. The main courses were so good we didn't leave with any leftovers. The steaks were huge and the compound butter on top was the only thing needed. The short ribs were so tender and the ravioli pairing was a great complement. Even the scallops were perfectly seared. All in all, Georges is a must if you like great food at a reasonable price. We left very satisfied.

We had a wonderful meal. Every single thing that came out was amazing! The Earl of Apricot cocktail is a must. The bone marrow and octopus were also divine. A special thanks to our server Jennifer, she was wonderful and explained each dish in detail! I highly recommend this spot, worth every penny

George Bistro + Bar is an absolute gem! I visited based on a recommendation from a waiter at Pearl & Horn (also in Pensacola and owned by the same family), and I’m so glad I did. The service, atmosphere, and quality of food were all spot on—just like my experience at Pearl & Horn. The fries were by far the best I have ever had, perfectly crisp and flavorful. Their teas and coffee are fantastic, and every dish we tried was outstanding. The attention to detail in both the food and service truly sets this place apart. A reservation is highly recommended, as there is usually a long wait—no surprise since the best restaurants are always in high demand. If you're looking for an exceptional dining experience in Pensacola, George Bistro + Bar should be at the top of your list!

George Bistro is one of the premier Pensacola restaurants. Read about George's background and you'll see why. Everything is very well done. Today we went for the brunch which was really good. Crab cake Benedict was really well done w perfectly poached eggs on top of very excellent crab cakes. Also had the lobster roll which had lots of lobster and was very good. For a starter try the tuna tartar - fantastic, and always upgrade to the Parmesan & rosemary fries. Even the kids pasta was a hit! I was a little surprised that bar service was a little slow today...but that's usually not the case. Enjoy.

Wonderful service and incredible food—this place is officially a must-stop whenever I’m in Pensacola. We started with a refreshing spritzer, and Ryan, our server was excellent, even suggesting Campari instead of Aperol for a less sweet cocktail. It was a brilliant touch. We had the octopus, which was unbelievably tender and packed with flavor. For the main course, the catch of the day with leek emulsion was absolutely delicious. And the dessert? A total standout. I had a crème brûlée that wasn’t even on the menu, infused with matcha for a unique twist. It was so yummy. They’re also pet friendly and were wonderful accommodating our dog. This place is a true gem.

Amazing, we had the best dinner, highly recommended this place. We have been to most of the restaurants in pensacola. This one will not disappoint. From the appetizers to the main course. For the appetizers We had the smoked octopus, crunchy bacon Brussels, mini crab cakes, for the mains we had the Duck, lamb chops, short ribbon. All we Amazing, can't recommend enough. We loved everything! Got the duck and short ribs with ravioli and we were obsessed with both dishes. We tried the artichokes and bruschetta which were also amazing. It was my husbands 30th bday, we will definitely be coming back! We also got a piece of cheesecake for his birthday, great service, food and vibes!

Love this place! I believe our waiters name was Zach and he was just wonderful and so knowledgeable! Best waiter we have had in a very long time. The portions were a little smaller than expected considering the price. The food is all made in house and top quality, however we did still leave hungry. We did have such a wonderful experience though and will be back, we will just be sure to order things off the menu that might be of bigger quantity.

It was my wife and I’s first time at George. Our server Faith F. gave us the best service we have had in a really long time. She was knowledgeable about the menu, made sure the kitchen was aware of our allergies, and was just overall extremely friendly and funny. The food was just as good as the service. The sweet potato bisque was amazing, and the steak was flavorful and cooked perfectly. My wife and I were celebrating getting married and they made sure we felt celebrated. 10/10 experience and we will definitely be back.

I love this place! I’ve already been twice in the past month—once for breakfast and once for dinner. It’s always packed, but I’ve been lucky with timing and managed to snag a table for two without a reservation. For breakfast, we enjoyed a refreshing non-alcoholic Hugo Spritz and the English Peas + Mint Ricotta. Both were a delight—light, bright, and the perfect way to wake up the palate. The ricotta was especially memorable: creamy yet delicate, with the peas and mint balancing each bite. We loved it so much we ordered it again at dinner. Speaking of dinner—the menu is outstanding. We went with the Grilled Lamb Chops and the Short Ribs & Mushroom Ravioli. Both dishes were phenomenal. The lamb chops were seasoned and cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, bursting with flavor. The herb-infused pearl couscous with lemon mint yogurt was an unexpected highlight for me: chewy, flavorful, and so satisfying. The ravioli was excellent as well, filled with creamy mushroom parmesan and topped with rich braised short ribs. Surprisingly, it was even better the next day as leftovers—the filling/sauce deepened overnight and became even more bold and comforting. These two dishes alone made the meal unforgettable. Honestly, before I leave Pensacola, I’ll be back at George’s one more time—just to grab the lamb chops and ravioli again, even if it’s to-go.

Susan took care of my mother and I at lunch today. She was absolutely fantastic. Menu knowledge, service, vibe, everything about was perfect. I have owned and operated restaurants most of my adult life. Seriously one of the best servers I’ve ever had. Aside from Susan the food was equally as amazing. She was so sweet even surprised us with a piece of chocolate cake to celebrate me getting my cast off of my arm! 1000% recommend the restaurant and highly recommend asking for Susan when you go! She is super cute too!

We were visiting in town for my partner’s work trip. Hannah took care of us and every thing was amazing. From her bubbly personality, top tier drinks, and to the chef’s amazing cuisine, you can’t go wrong. We started with the crab cake appetizer, my partner had the filet and I had the Alfredo Pappardelle with short rib on top. All of it was amazing. Great place, 10/10 recommend.

The carpaccio, pasta was excellent and the ribeye was perfectly cooked to liking. Manhattan was also super good! The snapper was ok! Dog friendly and the staff got us a dog bowl. Travis our server was also great! Definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu!

I cannot really say this is my favorite restaurant because this is the only one I go to when I’m in town for work. I save all my PDM to enjoy a different dish every time I go there! And they are all 12/10!! I feel like I’m getting a bite of heaven with every bite I taste! And the service is top! Last night my waiter George” was so kind to me! He knew the menu so well and his recommendations were precious! I had the “Spanish grilled Octopus “ which is my favorite and must have! And I tried for the first time “George’s fries”. Definitely the half portion is the way to go! I never go to restaurants by myself. This is the only place I don’t mind going and sit at the bar or on the patio! They take care of you and check on you often! I’m in love with this place.🥰😍

We come to Georges Bistro at least once a month (sometimes more!) because it’s truly that special. It’s our go-to spot for date nights—the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is always top-notch. The waiters consistently take the time to explain the menu in detail, which makes the experience feel even more personalized. The food? Absolutely outstanding. We love the appetizers so much that we often order several and make it a tapas-style meal, though the entrées are equally incredible (and perfect to share). The flavors, presentation, and quality are worth every penny. As someone who has traveled internationally and eaten at many restaurants around the world, I can honestly say this is some of the best food I’ve ever had. Georges Bistro is a gem, and we’re so grateful to have it close by.

Went for a holiday lunch with my family and enjoyed everything! Service was excellent as was the food! I got the short rib pie that was fabulous. We also had the bone marrow appetizer and the artichoke appetizer, which had a delicious lemon tarragon sauce. Seasonal Cocktails were also amazing

My husband and I went here for my birthday for the first time and we have nothing but good things to say about everything. The environment was beautiful. The food was phenomenal. I had the pomegranate molasses lamb and my husband had the ribeye steak frites. I also had two of their seasonal cocktails, the home for the holidays horchata and getting figgy with it. For dessert, we shared the seasonal creme brulee. It was all absolutely worth the price, and a great place for a fancy date night.

If I could give this establishment more than 5 stars I would! Compliments to the chef and the very accommodating wait staff! The food... OMG the food was not only picture perfect, it was perfect and cooked to order. Now it's a bit pricey but for good reason. The pricing matches the quality so there are no complaints from me! My wife and I are definitely coming back!

The food gets better each time we come, literally our favorite place in Pensacola. We’ve been here a few times and always enjoyed ourselves but Susan Z went above and beyond with her service. She made our Valentine’s extra special, hope her team appreciates her.

Everything here was phenomenal! Especially our server Jen, she was so sweet and attentive. We were celebrating a Bachelorette trip and she was so wonderful with us! The Fillet mignon was the most tender I’ve ever had. The George fries were very tasty, we also tired a few different desserts which were all great. The Chai tiramisu was incredible. Can’t wait to come back here!

An Unforgettable Anniversary Dinner at George’s Bistro George’s Bistro made our anniversary absolutely perfect. From start to finish, everything felt elevated, welcoming, and thoughtfully done — and we owe a huge part of that to our amazing server, Susan. She was truly exceptional. Attentive, warm, and incredibly knowledgeable, Susan made us feel genuinely cared for the entire evening. She struck the perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness, and she helped make the night feel special from the moment we sat down. We began with a delicious appetizer spread, including fresh bread and a beautifully prepared seafood dish in a rich, buttery sauce. It set the tone for what turned into one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. For our entrée, we ordered the wagyu steak, and it was unbelievable. Tender, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor — every bite was a reminder of why wagyu is in a category of its own. The grilled asparagus, crispy potatoes, scallops, and fresh herbs tied the dish together beautifully. To finish off the night, we were surprised with a stunning anniversary dessert board. The crème brûlée was smooth with a perfect crackling top, and the pear panna cotta was elegant, light, and the ideal sweet ending. Between the phenomenal food, the romantic atmosphere, and Susan’s outstanding service, George’s Bistro made our anniversary one we’ll always remember. If you’re looking for a place that delivers on both flavor and experience, this is it. Highly recommended for any special occasion — or just because. 💛🥂

We have dined here many times, but never for lunch. It was a lovely day, so we sat outside. There are two consistent qualities at George: 1, the service is prompt, friendly, and efficient, and served with casual elegance. Mary-Mc was our server and did an outstanding job. 2, the chef is willing to take new chances with sauces, soups, and cuisine. There is always plenty to eat, and I have never had a dish I would not recommend. The sweet potato soup is outstanding, almost like a dessert. The mini crab cakes also exceptional. The shrimp and grits is a family favorite. And look at the size of the local fish sandwich! I had the harvest salad with perfectly cooked salmon. Little touches make it special. George never disappoints!!

Wow! What a great place! We ate here for brunch on Sunday. Seeing the crowd of cars when we pulled in, we were hopeful that its popularity was an indicator of the food and experience. We were not disappointed! All of the food was of very high quality and expertly prepared and presented. The ingredients seemed super fresh as well. We ate on the outdoor patio and were able to enjoy beautiful fall weather! I want to give a special shout out to our server, Susan Z. She was one of the best waitresses we have ever had. Her friendly, outgoing demeanor immediately set us at ease. Her knowledge of the menu was excellent and was reflected in her superb explanations and recommendations! Her service made our meal that much more enjoyable. I would definitely request her when going back again! Strongly considering going back for dinner while we are here on vacation! It's a must-visit!

We absolutely loved George, and are kicking ourselves for not having been sooner. Went for a birthday celebration and had an absolutely fantastic all around experience, helped in no small part by our awesome server, Drew. From the exquisite cocktails to the super tasty apps and the perfectly composed entrees, finishing with scrumptious desserts and post-dinner drinks, couldn't think of a better way to toast our dear friend. Highly, highly recommend George, and we will be back soon!

This place is the best of the best! Great atmosphere - beautiful lighting and decor. Extraordinary service! Our server was a delight! Great recommendations and very efficient and accommodating. The food…You have to experience it yourself! EVERYTHING was A+++++ Definitely pricey but you get more than your money’s worth! I was unable to visit on my birthday but delivery did not disappoint! I missed the atmosphere and one on one service but the food was delicious! I made a subtle mention of my special day and they went above and beyond. Absolutely love this restaurant! I only have one pic from my dine in experience, enjoying the moment trumps everything!

Dec. 2025 - George's is a must go when near Pensecola. We have visited multiple times over the last 5 years and always look forward to going. We appreciate their ingredients made in house and the attention to detail, the flavorful options are a rare find, the atmosphere is pleasant and cozy, most staff are friendly and helpful without the need to ask (a few staff seem to be having an off day - on the flip side, Zack was our servor and was great at explaining the various dishes and was attentive to our needs), and the restrooms had a much needed update since our last visit. If you are looking for unique one of a kind flavors that most everyone can find something they will enjoy, George's is a definite place to go. It is pricey (salads $20, dishes $30-50) but it is unique quality tasty dishes. Its not your standard bistro food. Its much better! Yum! Reservations are recommended as there is often a wait from our experience. Business causal dress is most suitable. Can't wait until we visit again! The unique flavors of custom made ingredients is what we value most.

Great service, delicious food! The only negative is that it is really loud inside. However, it's worth the noise. We are foodies and it's hard to find a restaurant that doesn't disappoint, especially since my husband is such an amazing cook. We were there for weekend brunch. Our table had the steak & eggs, smoked salmon tartine, and the savory bread pudding Benedict. Everyone loved their meal. The steak was cooked perfectly. Our server, Thomas, was very attentive and friendly.

The food, service, and ambience at George’s are always fantastic. We were there this time for a business dinner, but we have also enjoyed multiple family dinners here over the years, and it has never disappointed us. Because it is a local favorite, the noise level can make conversation somewhat tricky at times, but that certainly would not steer us away. We love it and will keep coming back!

We were there for brunch. The Bread Pudding Benedict was amazing. It's savory, not sweet like you think of when you think bread pudding. (Infused with bacon, so how could it not be awesome?) Service is always good here and the outside dining area makes for a great atmosphere.

A Return to George’s Bistro An incredible experience. George’s Bistro has managed to both maintain consistency with quality, and creativity with their menu. After seven years on Ninth Avenue and the opening of their sister restaurant, George’s remains a reliable source of amazing food and service. The coffee with hints of chocolate and undertones of cherries paired with the French toast and berries that taste like childhood, while complex enough to unequivocally please the palate. The service, however, made Saturday brunch a heavenly experience. Mary Scott enthralled me with all the lovely contradictions that only a truly great server possesses; both openness and reserve, elegance and approachability, as well as undivided attention and multitasking. She balanced these contradictions not unlike a da Vinci painting. George’s Bistro insists on its relevance with its delicious food and wonderful service.

We celebrated a midday birthday here and as always, the food is excellent, the service was far exceeding any other service we received there before. Our server, Drew, was on top of everything from the moment we walked in as well as incredibly personable and friendly throughout. I highly recommend George restaurant as well as Drew as your server if you’re so lucky to have him.

George's is one of the best places to enjoy brunch or a special dinner. I ordered a filet and a garden salad. My steak was cooked to perfection and I enjoyed every bite! This is a popular spot, so I suggest making reservations.

Hands down the best restaurant in Pensacola, if you ask me! To start off, our server Winsome was absolutely fabulous— her bubbly personality alone would be enough to make me come eat at George’s regularly! My husband and I shared 3 appetizers- the octopus, bone marrow, and the beef carpaccio. They were all so wonderful, I probably couldn’t pick a favorite. For our entree we split the lamb chops, and added the scallops. There was so much flavor and it was the perfect portion to top our 3 apps. We left very VERY satisfied and will be adding George’s high up on our date night restaurant list! And thank you again, Winsome!

My family and I have visited this establishment several times. The food, atmosphere and staff are always on point. I have to write a review on my server George. This is my second time being seated with George. I must admit, I will be requesting to be sat in his section on all future visits. He describes the items on the menu as though he is the one preparing them in the kitchen; I have ordered everything he recommends. Of course, he never disappoints. I will be returning to this establishment and you best believe I will be asking for George.

Nothing shy of amazing. Every bit of our experience was fantastic. From our server, tyler, the charming building, to the food. The tomatoes used in the burrata were phenomenal, the beef carpacio in general was mind blowing, but weirdly the best thing we ate, was the base( broth/ sauce) that the crab claws were in( a special, not on the menu). The artisan bread served with the burrata, dipped in that, with the fresh arugula, tomato, and burrata was truly remarkable. The drinks were great to, and the earl grey infused creme brulee would've been worth the visit by itself.

I just wanted to thank the young woman who answered the phone yesterday and help me with my takeout order - Food was delicious. I trust George's because they have always been so professional. As always the short rib ravioli knocked it out of the park. My husband loved the pork chops - no one makes greens that taste that incredible. The espresso / raspberry couli cake - delish. Thank you for a nice evening at home with takeout - it made for an intimate dinner for busy parents who needed a weekend date - even if it was a stay at home date night on a Saturday night! Thanks for making our night special.

Just sat outside and enjoyed a wonderful dinner served by Amy. Amy and her fellow staff members were all so kind and helpful. Recommendations from all were great. Amy was so fun and energetic. She was very attentive while not being overbearing. The food was incredible. I especially enjoyed trying the bone marrow that Amy recommended! Can’t wait to be back for my next visit.

Overall, a pleasant experience but after reading so many glorious reviews I expected more. The service was nice. We were seated promptly ( though they were busy). The waitress was friendly but it took her a while to bring straws. My husband asked her for butter, she never brought it. My son had shrimp and grits and said they were exceptionally good. I had smoked salmon tartine and it was decent. The food presentation was nice. It didn’t take very long before the food was served ( though they were really busy).

This is the second time that we have visited George Bistro + Bar while in Pensacola, FL. We kicked off with an espresso martini, cup of soup (sweet potato) + mini crab cakes for appetizer’s. For entrées, we had the ribeyesteak Frites, upgraded to the truffle fries (pro tip) and roasted cauliflower with grilled shrimp. Both were excellent!!! The food was great, the service was average (not very attentive), which is surprising since they weren’t busy. Enjoyed - we’ll be back!!!

Excellent cuisine as usual. Our server was fabulous. She was attentive and helpful with knowledge of our choices. I was unsure of my drink choice but it was unique but so tasty. I’ll definitely order that again! The grouper over spaghetti squash tasted delicious. My son in law enjoyed his whole fish snapper (pretty evident) the octopus was delicious and cooked perfectly, and the short rib mushroom ravioli (always a go to) was yummy as usual!

The atmosphere was great and with our reservation, were able to seat quickly. The seasonal menu is great, for both drinks and food. The fig and pear ricotta as an appetizer is very tasteful. The main course of scallops was amazing. However, the short ribs entree was lacking in taste in both the ribs and mushrooms in the ravioli sauce. If it had even been salted when cooked, we couldn't tell. Great spot and look forward to trying their other dishes!

Great cuisine! Thank you George. They are popular and thus get busy. I'm not a patient person and don't want attitude from the servers. The food (sorry George!) is excellent! Can't just call it food. Call it cuisine. I really want to know where is the herb 🌿 garden??

Cute restaurant with great food. Overpriced and horrible service. The food was delicious though. The service was very slow and not tentative. We kept asking if our waitress was coming and it took forever for the food to come out we waited forever so much that they should have discounted or sent something out. Plenty of parking with a lot next door also for overflow.

Short rib mushroom ravioli is what I had dining at George Bistro a few nights or so ago. Reservations were made, and my group was seated without issues. Everything I order tasted great. If you enjoy fine dining establishments and fare, this restaurant is for you. Service was excellent, and the atmosphere was lively and immaculately maintained. I truly enjoyed being there... I'm just not someone who goes for these types of places. The wine list was incredibly impressive, but they don't offer draft beer, and the beer I did order was in a can and poured into a glass pilsner. The menu appears sophisticated and intimidating. I did have a great time here, nothing but rave reviews. Personally, I'm not the clientele. This was a special occasion, and it they were great at making it special. If I'm in need of making a specific impression, this place could be a top option. 2/20/25 Sister came into town for a visit took her here. I had the soup of the day, loaded baked potato w/fresh bacon bits and a Kale Caesar salad. Both were truly delicious. Beer still served via can and pilsner glass. Still standing by my choice as a go to place for special occasions! Nine of us for dinner so we sat in the outside patio which in my opinion is spectacular.

I've visited George Bistro + Bar several times now, and while the atmosphere is fantastic and the service is always excellent and professional, I have some mixed feelings. The setting is stylish and comfortable, making it a great spot for a special night out. However, the food is very expensive, and the portions are quite small. Despite the high prices, the dishes haven't really wowed me. The flavors are good, but nothing extraordinary that would justify the cost. Given that my past several visits have been similar, I'm not sure if we'll be back. It's a beautiful place with top-notch service, but the food just doesn't seem to match the premium price tag.

The food was pretty good, but I am disappointed that the server never mentioned any specials to us. The restaurant itself is extremely dark and loud. We were sat at a small table by the door and I couldn’t even have a conversation with my husband on our anniversary. I had noted that it was our anniversary in the reservation booking, so I don’t know why we were not given the same “happy anniversary” treat that everyone else has posted in their reviews. I don’t know why we had such a drastically different experience at Pearl and Horn, after learning that they’re sister restaurants.

Nada del otro mundo. Un poco caro. Cuando pedí un capuchino me lo trajeron a los apurones y derramado. Nothing special. A little expensive. When I ordered a cappuccino it was rushed to me and spilled.

Very disappointed with the service we received from Travis. For price we are paying and a 20% gratuity automatically being applied to the bill, I would expect service to be better. The food was delicious and the service at the bar was good. Service for dining was slow, unenthusiastic, and overall poor.
