Ristorante Berta Pertusio Reviews
The best place to eat in Canavese Clara in cucina confirms its #1 status If you haven't been yet, I have a tip for you. Get it ASAP!!!
The atmosphere is very intimate, romantic, and elegant. I had lunch at a marble table lit from below. It was my father-in-law's birthday, so I don't know the prices. They decided to go with the chef's own approach, with the menu almost entirely seafood. The seafood soup was delicious, a little spicy. The desserts were delicious and spectacular.
A well-kept restaurant, small but warm and welcoming, with attentive service. The owner recommended an excellent wine that matched our tastes... and the dishes are a visual spectacle, an explosion of flavors and unexpected pairings. Everything is personalized, from the backlit table to the similar yet different plates and cups, to the house-made bread and breadsticks.
A very well-kept, welcoming place with a very kind owner who welcomes you warmly, making you feel more like a friend welcomed into his home than a customer. The refinement of the dishes and the attention to detail can be felt in every course and every corner of the restaurant is an art gallery... to say the least, an experience, not just a simple dinner... thank you so much!
Super!
You could say anything about this bakery restaurant... but any words would be superfluous. Clara is the queen of the kitchen and Tony is the king of the dining room, as well as of the production of bread, biscuits, pizza, and cakes that are found in the bakery but also served to you at the restaurant table. Sure, you might have to wait a few minutes longer, but I assure you, the wait is worth it. Ask to see the wine cellar... you'll be amazed, it's located under the dining room ❤️
I come to this restaurant to celebrate with my family, and it's always a great experience! The owner is very kind and helpful. The food is superb and fortunately varied, not just in terms of the menu, but because the dishes change regularly (not just the two classic summer and winter menus). Plus, the off-menu options are exceptional delicacies. The wine cellar is good and varied. If you're in the area and want to eat well, you know where to go.

Intrigued by my participation in "4 Ristoranti," I wanted to try Berta's cuisine. Let's start with the positives. Good cuisine with excellent ingredients and beautifully presented dishes. The restaurant is well-kept and welcoming. The same cannot be said for the staff. As for areas for improvement, we found the staff to be unprofessional and inattentive to customers, distant and tactless. They were a bit clumsy with the grater and truffle (half of it fell off the plate), although the quality was a shame. Perhaps just youthful affectations. They'll learn with time. Another negative was not being able to order a glass of wine without much insistence. The waiter repeatedly insisted on offering us the option of a bottle, and if we didn't finish it, we could take it home. A truly strange policy. Especially since I would have liked a glass of red and my wife a glass of white. I find it a drawback not being able to choose the wine to drink and having to negotiate a deal on a whole bottle. I reiterate that the food is good quality, although I find the price a bit high. We spent €75 per person without dessert and liqueurs in a small village in the Canavese area, while I had the experience of a tasting menu at a renowned restaurant in Venice on the Grand Canal for €80 per person, including dessert and two glasses of liqueurs. I'd revise the prices a bit. P.S. The idea of including some house finger foods between courses is a nice one. But I'd make this clear to the diners, because you risk eating the (good) samples offered by the house and not enjoying what you've chosen.
The atmosphere is always very busy and welcoming. It's a shame that, as unfortunately often happens these days, too much emphasis is placed on visual appeal, though I admit it produces excellent results. However, the taste often suffers. Less drama and more substance. Beware of cold dishes... too cold.
We returned at the beginning of the year after a long time and we no longer had a good time as in the past. Imaginative cuisine and dishes presented very well but perhaps to the detriment of the substance, there were several mistakes at the same table (my octopus was very hard). But what devalues the whole thing is the service, exasperatingly slow, with inappropriate language and an inappropriate familiarity towards strangers. We arrived among the first and were served among the last (big difference in treatment between friends and non-regular customers), we ordered after more than an hour because the owner came to the table then left, came back without the bottle, left again, sat at a friends' table helping himself to drinks and came back to us without bringing anything. Too bad, I don't think we'll be back again, when you spend 70 euros for two dishes you expect "something more".
Welcoming but chaotic atmosphere! Tasteless food, lots of spectacle but little flavor, a shame! I've seen fantastic dishes that were spectacular to say the least, but the taste on the palate is something else! Bad day?
