Cena davvero piacevole al Ristorante Il Giurista. La trippa era spettacolare: morbidissima e saporita, si scioglieva letteralmente in bocca. Ottimi anche i tagliolini al tartufo, ben equilibrati e ricchi di profumo. A completare il tutto, delle patate altrettanto buone. Si sente la qualità dei piatti e la cura nella cucina. Un posto dove tornare volentieri.

Locale nel pieno centro di Perugia, molto caratteristico, curato nei minimi dettagli. Particolare attenzione al cliente, personale preparato, gentile e simpatico. Cibo oltre le aspettative, piatti creati e impiattati con cura e attenzione con gusti e sapori tipici della tradizione umbra, porzioni giuste e costo medio. Consiglio assolutamente di andarci almeno una volta se si passa a Perugia. Meglio prenotare visto che il numero di tavoli è limitato.

Ristorantino nascosto in un vicolo del centro, ideale per una cena tranquilla. La tagliata al tartufo è davvero ottima! Personale gentile e ambiente raccolto. Prezzi un po’ sopra la media, ma giustificati dalla qualità. Bonus inatteso: niente segnale, perfetto per lunghe chiacchierate senza telefono.

Abbiamo pranzato nella bellissima sala con archi e vino esposti, davvero bella. I ragazzi di sala, tutti gentili, educati e preparati. Le pietanze sono squisite. Materie prime di ottima qualità. Salumi davvero buoni e il pecorino spettacolare!!! La trippa favolosa. Gli umbricelli al ragù di cinghiale ottimi. Le tagliatelle al tartufo (il cameriere ha grattugiato altro tartufo al momento dell' arrivo del piatto) buone! Consiglio di prenotare e di provare questo ristorante!

Ristorante in pieno centro a Perugia. Ho cenato in questo posto nei primi di dicembre e l’atmosfera che si respira è molto piacevole e accogliente . Il personale è molto gentile e attento alla clientela . Il menù non è vastissimo ma questo fa sì che i piatti siano curati nei dettagli . Mi è piaciuto molto e lo consiglio vivamente a chi vuole provare la cucina Perugina pagando un presto onesto

Un ringraziamento speciale va a Renato, il proprietario, che è davvero una persona squisita, capace di far sentire ogni cliente come a casa. L’atmosfera è bellissima, accogliente e curata. Piatti molto buoni , iniziando dal pane e focacce con un olio ottimo e continuando con un ottimo primo con il ragù , buonissimo il brasato , deludente il coniglio porchettato . This is one of the best restaurants ever. We eat here every time we’re in Perugia. The ambience is lovely, the food is exceptional and the service is top notch. They also have gluten free options. The gnocchi with pecorino and fresh truffle is to die for! It’s maybe the best thing I’ve ever eaten in my life! The owner is very friendly and it’s clear he cares a lot about his customers.

One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to in my life. I’ve been traveling around Italy for over 20 years, and walking in here, I never expected to discover that truffles actually have a flavor! I ordered tagliatelle with truffles, potatoes, and antipasti. Everything was top-notch, and I also tried the house red wine and local beer—both drinks were fantastic. You absolutely must visit this place; it’s rare to get such intense gastronomic pleasure anywhere else!

We thoroughly enjoyed Ristorantee II Giurista. From the moment we sat down the atmosphere was full of ancient vibes. Set in a vaulted cellar it had the perfect Etruscan mood. The food was meticulously prepared and served by the friendly wait staff. The beef tartare was magnificent. The wild boar stew, risotto and beef fillet were all delicious. The only down side is we only had one opportunity to eat at Ristorantee Giurista.

If you're in Perugia and want to eat delicious traditional food then this is definitely the place you should pick. I ordered steak with truffles and I was recommended to combine it white bean soup as a side dish. Amazing dishes and they compliment eachother so well. You won't be disappointed, I promise.

Absolutely fantastic, worth every penny. The place is the quintessential whole in the wall gem that ticks all boxes. We had the gnocchi with truffle, the boar stew, roast potatoes and onions, and finally the beef tartar. The last of which was impeccable, especially with the mustard ice cream (new concept for me). The Umbrian wine was fully bodied, rich and fruity. The gnocchi was light in texture and paired beautifully with the generous amount of fresh truffle. The boar stew was bold and hearty and paired very well with the surprisingly best dish, the roast potatoes! These were, slightly unexpectedly, sliced and roasted with onions in a clay pot. The waiters were great, all knew English but would entertain my rudimentary Italian. My favourite chap even knew Mandarin. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place, on par with Michelin star restaurants.

There is a reason this restaurant is listed on all of the gluten free in perugia blogs! My family and I (a celiac) ate here one evening in Perugia (book ahead if you can, even if you dont think it will be busy) and got lucky to take the last available table on a weekday in mid december. Service was outstanding, everyone was very caring and explained very well which dishes could be done gluten free. I opted for the gnocchi with cheese and truffles, delicious! They even make their own gluten free bread which was fantastic along with the warm chocolate cake for dessert. We were sat in a cosy cave like room filled with wine bottles and really enjoyed our entire meal from arrival to departure! I can't wait for another chance to go back to Perugia purely to eat here!

I was so excited to try RISTORANTE Il GIURISTA after reading so many spectacular reviews. The dining room in the center of historic Perugia is lovely with incredible attention to detail. The regional wine paired perfectly with all of our menu choices. We started with a pecorino soufflé with a light cheese sauce dotted with a brunoise of peeled, perfectly ripe pear. Amazing. The antipasti field salad with fennel, walnut, orange and pecorino was light and refreshing. I had the local beef tartare - perfetto - with a very generous serving of truffles. My husband had the boar stew which was delicious and so tender. The chef and kitchen staff did not disappoint and we would love to return. Unfortunately a surly waiter seemed to be agitated with our order and seemingly punished us with increasingly slow service to the point of ignoring us when our plates needed clearing. As a chef myself, it is always disappointing to see a perfectly executed meal tainted with marginal service from an unhappy server.

Such an incredible find! Delicious food, amazing wine list, spectacular atmosphere and super welcoming staff! The truffle dedicated menu is a must try - especially the truffle pasta!! They will always slice up more truffle over your dish! Boar ragout dishes are warming, hearty and tasty, even the bread is perfectly seasoned and with incredible texture (the breadsticks are next level!). Cannot recommend this enough - if in Perugia, this place is a must!

What a great experience. We had a table of 9 booked and had a fantastic meal in Perugia. They were very accommodating and our server even spoke multiple languages to help. The food was impeccable, the sirloin, truffle pastas (I had the gnocchi), troife and wild boar pastas were great. Tiramisu was a delightful finish as well with some espressos. It was a cool vibe in there and well priced for the quality we got.

Absolutely wonderful! The staff are delightful and the food is excellent. The head waiter suggested a perfect red wine pairing for our meals that was NOT the most expensive wine in the list - always a good sign. The Gnocchi With Pecorino Fondue And Freshly Shaved Truffles was probably the best gnocchi dish I have had in my life (and I’m not young!) - it is TO-DIE-FOR!!! And the prices are incredibly good value for what you are served. Would absolutely go again if I was in Perugia

This is really a place you have to go to if you are in Perugia, Italy. One of the most memorable and best meals I’ve had. We spent 2 days in Perugia and ate here on the first day. But it was so good we decided to make a reservation for our second day here as well. The appetisers that we ordered were splendid (tripe, chicken liver and the eggplant) and the truffle pasta was just amazing. We had the truffle gnocchi as well as the truffle taglioini. It was just so so good. The fragrance of the black summer truffle was just so aromatic and the taste of the creamy gnocchi and the truffle butter pasta was delicious. Very well priced dishes as well. The sliced truffle beef was very good as well, I recommend ordering it without the olive oil on top if you are not into the olive oil type of taste, it was still very tasty without it. We also tried the Pork Cheek with mashed potatoes that I unfortunately did not get a photo of but it was also very very good. Apart from food, the service was also very personalised. We had quite liked the tripe appetiser and gave our compliments to the chef. When we asked whether they could make a tripe pasta, they were very accommodating and it ended up tasting fantastic. The waiters were very cheerful and attentive. The restaurant itself is lovely as well with a very calming vibe and atmosphere. This is truly such a lovely restaurant and you should definitely come here if you’re in Perugia!

The service was good and consistent from the moment I walked in til I said goodbye. The servers were very attentive and quick. The food was consistently good from the bread to the wines and with reasonable prices. None of the ones we ordered disappoint. The pasta dishes were generously topped with exquisite tartufo and the rabbit was juicy and flavourful. The Tiramisu was heavenly it was gone in a few minutes. Highly recommend this restaurant and would love to come back again. Definitely a must-try when in Perugia.

Dal giurista si mangia bene, porzioni non esagerate, ma giuste. Ottima scelta di vini. Servizio molto cortese ma un po' impacciato,(a mio avviso anche per il controllo eccessivo del proprietario), attesa dei piatti un po' lunga. Ambiente confortevole e rilassante. Bellissimo ristorante a due passi dalla piazza IV novembre. Abbiamo mangiato salumi tipici umbri con pecorino, a seguire un piatto di gnocchi freschi con crema di pecorino e tartufo e un piatto di pasta fresca con il ragù di cinghiale e come dessert il tiramisù. Il tutto accompagnato da un buonissimo vino di montefalco di ben 16 gradi. Tutto buonissimo e molto gustoso, personale educato e molto disponibile.

Prenotazione quasi d'obbligo dato che i tavoli sono limitati. Lunedì 8 dicembre abbiamo prenotato il turno delle 14, l'altro era a mezzogiorno. Dopo aver aspettato qualche minuto all'esterno, in attesa che preparassero i tavoli, siamo entrati e ci siamo accomodati in un locale molto tipico e accogliente. Non si può non provare almeno uno dei piatti col tartufo previsti nel menu: io ho preso i tagliolini ed erano buonissimi e abbondanti, il tartufo te le grattugiano davanti agli occhi al momento. I miei commensali consigliano anche il risotto al sagrantino e salsiccia e il coniglio

Locale molto elegante e caldo in centro a Perugia. Servizio attento e gentile. Abbiamo provato il fagottino con pecorino,spinaci e tartufo e gli gnocchi con pecorino e tartufo. Molto buono. A seguire il cinghiale alla bugliona(cottura lunga tipica) davvero tenero e la tagliata al tartufo. Mi aspettavo un gusto più intenso di tartufo nella tagliata ma comunque buona. Le porzioni dei secondi sono contenute ma prendendo un antipasto o un primo piatto prima vanno più che bene.

The food here is the star. Everything is well presented, hearty and super tasty. The service was quite odd with most other tables being served quickly and people finishing their meals and leaving while we were stuck there with the plates not being cleared then further ignored when we wanted to order final drinks. The atmosphere of the place is nicely done. I would recommend to others to eat here as the food is fantastic but I do think the service needs improvement. We ordered the buffalo panzanela salad, the fillet steak, the wild boar ragu pasta, plus sides of potatoes, salad and baked vegetables.

The food was good, but I was misinformed regarding allergens. When choosing a dessert, ( semifreddo ) I asked twice about the ingredients and the presence of lactose: not only was I informed that there was no lactose in it (I asked about cream, butter , milk to eliminate the misunderstanding) but I was told that it was a dessert specifically dedicated to people who could not eat dairy products and there is no milk nor cream. Which is a lie. The base is cream. For those with intolerances please beware. Ps. A first-class restaurant also requires a first-class response - and this, too, was lacking on your part. Instead of empathy and professionalism, I received a defensive lecture. Guests come to your restaurant not only for food, but also for trust and experience. If there was a misunderstanding, it could have been resolved with elegance and respect, not by dismissing my concerns as ‘completely untrue’. That is what makes the difference between a good place and an exceptional one.
