SFIZIO Italian Kitchen Phoenix Reviews
Visited for dinner and tried their Short Rib Rigatoni & Amalfi Coast cocktail! Everything so delicious and very filling— which was a pleasant surprise! The presentation and overall flavors & texture of the food was excellent, and paired well with the cocktail! I’m definitely going to come back to try more of their pasta dishes. Despite being busy for dinner, everyone was extremely sweet and super attentive to us while we were here. We really enjoyed their service and for constantly checking in on us. The atmosphere was very lively, yet intimate and welcoming. Highly recommend for some delicious food and wonderful drinks.
The food was EXCELLENT. It was true Italian, not like some of the places you find. They only had a few other diners so the service was excellent; she kept our waters filled and was very attentive. I will absolutely come back when I'm craving authentic Italian food!
Quality Italian food and pizza. Received fast and attentive service from the bartender. The food was pleasing starting with the arancini. The arancini was a little different than traditional arancini but was tasty. The Italian Farm salad was not as good as Humble Pie’s chopped salad, worth getting. The salad was large enough for two with ample amounts of meat and flavorful homemade dressing. The pizza was by far the star. The calabrese came hot out of the stone-fired oven. The crust was light and delicious and the cheese was bubbly and perfectly proportioned. The sauce was robust and the ingredients complemented each other perfectly. enjoyed every bite of the pizza.
If you’re into Italian food this place is a must. Fantastic atmosphere, great service, outstanding food and involved/present owners. This was our first time here and we will absolutely return. Check this place out.
Last night after work, my best friend recommended this place and it was a wonderful surprise. I loved the atmosphere and sitting outside. Our server was amazing. Her name is Jacqueline. Friendly, kind, and knowledgeable, she made the experience wonderful, treat her well she’s awesome. The food is delicious. I cannot wait to bring my family here.
Wow! Check out this place! I am very particular about Italian food as my family's heritage is from Sicily and we make some awesome foods. However, sometimes it is nice to just treat ourselves. The handmade pasta was just perfect. It was tender; yet it didn't just fall apart. The sauce was just right and not watery. The flavors were there and the bread was oven baked! Go check this out!
What a great cozy little place to try authentic italian food! Everything in this mom and pop family run restaurant is made from scratch and mostly from ingredients imported directly from Italy. The food was superb which doesn’t surprise considering that the owner and main chef comes from Italy himself and has years of experience in restaurant industry. I was looking for place like this for some time and glad I found it. Everything in this place is a treat for your palate and prices are very reasonable. Nice selection of wine as well. Will be back for sure.
A stunning Italian restaurant with incredible attention to detail. The truffle bread was rich and addictive, and the tiramisu was light, balanced, and unforgettable. Service was so amazing as well! My server Allison was so attentive and kind.
Outstanding experience from start to finish. The food was excellent- fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. What truly set this place apart, however, was the staff: welcoming, attentive, and genuinely committed to making sure every guest feels taken care of. It’s clear they take pride in both their food and their service. Highly recommended, and I’ll absolutely be returning.
I absolutely loved the atmosphere at this restaurant! We had an incredible server; she came and checked on us, made us feel some welcome, and made sure our waters were filled without needing to ask! Kudos to the new fettuccini, which was absolutely delectable and rich in flavor.
This is an amazing restaurant with a great atmosphere, lovely service, and the best pasta! We came twice this week—both times for dinner—and both times it was packed with happy customers. the average cost was about 30 dollars per person with app and pasta, which is very reasonable for the quality and experience. The appetizers are also one of the highlights here—fresh and absolutely delicious. I love this place and will definitely come back again.
I came for me and my wife's anniversary. Shes a fan of pasta and i heard good things so I thought to give this place a try. My wife is allergic to onions unfortunately so alot of the foods she was unable to eat. The workers up front were very attentive and layed out most of the dishes that she wouldnt be able to eat due to the onions that are in the sauce. She settled with a lemon chicken and pasta I forget the name of. I personally got the chicken parm and had a starter of meatballs which tasted great as well. All in all a great place for a dinner date and would definitely recommend.
I have to say that they have one of the best tiramisu‘s that I have eaten,I love the amaretto. The place was charming inside. Brian was nice although he could’ve been a little bit more attentive so my husband wouldn’t have to ask for a second drink that has been empty for a bit. Plus they had to tell him for a different times I had a reservation. I was not impressed with the Bolognese. Something was off about it. And my pasta was more than al dente when I picked it up with a fork. It kind of just all stuck together. I expressed my concerns to Marco one of the owners and he was truly confused because I guess that never happens. People are pretty satisfied with their product. He asked me if I would like something else, at that time, I didn’t, but I did talk myself into the tiramisu and he gladly paid for that. They really did try to make it right, but I truly was a little nervous about ordering a different entrée. They were so nice, I want to go back, I just don’t know when… I think next time it’ll have to be the A-Team.
Calzone is still available but not on the menu -- it was excellent! truffle garlic bread appetizer was delicious (but doesn't automatically come with marinara - suggest ordering together at the beginning of that's your thing so it comes while the bread is nice and hot from the oven.) Very nice pasta (short rib paccheri), pizza was good but not outstanding so wouldn't come here for pizza alone (great for our kids though). We went on a very busy night so service was a bit slow (had to ask for things a few times) but everyone was very nice it wasn't a big deal. We sat inside which was dark, so would recommend outside seating which is much nicer.
Stopped in for an early dinner on the way to a show. Table was ready when we arrived. The food was very good and reasonably priced. Parking is easy, especially compared to the mall across the street. Will definitely return.
I’ve been coming here for a while now with family as well as my then girlfriend, now fiancée and I think they just made some changes. It used to be 5 stars all around, service was never an issue, food was amazing, but they changed the truffle garlic bread, which used to be skinny and very flavorful. Now you get one less piece, granted it is thicker, but nowhere near as flavorful. Pasta Tuscan style is my go to but they changed the pasta in it to fettuccini which was not a good change at all. Also tasted incredibly bland compared to normal unfortunately. Very sad to see these changes and the lacking flavor from a place that was so good just a few months ago. :(
I want this place to be better. The food is pretty good. We both had pasta dishes and the pasta seemed fresh and the dishes were tasty. Where this place falls short is on service. Our waiter disappeared for a long stretch and we had to flag down other staff for assistance. The drinks were a bit expensive, so we stuck with water and it had an aftertaste.
The food was just okay, but the bigger problem was the balsamic vinegar on almost everything. About 75% of what we ordered came covered in it, and it was not listed anywhere on the menu. None of us like balsamic vinegar, so this ruined several dishes. It also wasn’t shown in the online photos of the food, so I am not sure why it was randomly included. If you’re going to put balsamic on that many items, it needs to be clearly stated on the menu or offered as optional so that it can be removed. Not disclosing it is misleading.
As guest from out of town, the atmosphere was not welcoming. Older man not sure if he was the owner/ manager but he needs learn to greet all of the tables not just his buddy’s tables. The food was just okay, nothing special for them to be that stuck up. The waitress disappeared, when the hostess told her our table was waiting, our waitress said NOTHING to us just dropped the check off, no thank you, no have a good night. If you’re from out of town and visiting the desert ridge area visit the other 20 restaurants in the area.
This restaurant truly means a lot to me, which makes writing this hard. It’s my go-to spot for Italian food with my fiancé, where my family celebrated my college graduation, where we took my cousin after his graduation, and a place I’ve brought coworkers, friends, and family many times. I always say this is my favorite restaurant. I recently came in for a very special occasion — I brought my sister here to ask her to be my Maid of Honor. I chose this place intentionally because it holds so many great memories for me. We sat outside (our choice), and while the heaters weren’t very strong and we were pretty cold, it was manageable. Service started off fine, but once our food came out, things changed. No one checked on us afterward, our waters weren’t refilled, and we couldn’t get anyone’s attention even though staff walked by multiple times. At one point, almost all the other outdoor tables had left, and we were still not checked on. I always order the vodka pasta and can’t really enjoy it without Parmesan. Our food was dropped off, but no one asked if we needed pepper or cheese. By the time we were finally able to get Parmesan, my food was already cold, which shows how long we had been waiting for someone to come back. I do want to say that in past visits, a tall server with dark brown hair and a beard (I think his name might be Mark) has taken care of us, and his service is always amazing and attentive — he was not our server this night. That level of care is one of the reasons I’ve always loved coming here. What made this especially disappointing is that this was such an important, once-in-a-lifetime moment for me, and the lack of attentiveness and long waits took away from what should have been a really warm memory. I’m sharing this because I truly care about this restaurant and know how great it can be. I’m hoping this was just an off night.
