An amazing dinning experience as always. The atmosphere is comfortable and open - service is flawless and the food options delicious. We have been often and never had a bad meal. This time we tried the NY Strip - not the best option. A bit more marbled than we expected at this level of dinning. We would have opted for the pork chops or chicken which have never disappointed.

Oh my goodness, this place is a must-go if you are in the area. Each and every dish was mouth-watering good. We ordered the focacia with whipped butter and honey, cheese plate, fettucci, swordfish, and mushrooms. Everything was phenomenal. I could eat those mushrooms on their own every day. I regret not ordering dessert (I couldn't, or I would have had to roll myself out since the portion sizes are family style and generous), but each item on the dessert menu sounded like it needed to be in my belly. I will most definitely visit again. Our server, Ryan, was knowledgeable, kind, and attentive. The atmosphere and interior design are very cool. Limited seating with plenty of space between tables made the atmosphere very comfortable and gave the illusion of a private dinner. Great for a date night. Loved to see everyone dressed well for a night out, even on a Tuesday. I am craving the food already and looking forward to the next creative menu options!

Everything about this place was great! Starting with the seating, the waiting area is really nice, and then when you get to your table you have plenty of space between you and the other tables. The host nicely explained the menu to us. We got the chicken livers for appetizer, which we really enjoyed, and then two pasta dishes. The food was super delicious and you could tell that the pasta is freshly made. There were so many subtle flavors in the sauce that you could taste. For dessert we got the frozen chocolate mousse with whipped marshmallow topping. As someone who isn’t a big fan of marshmallows, I was amazed at how delicious the dessert was!!

Hands down this is the best dining experience in the state of Arizona. The menu changes monthly, a lot of seasonal items featured. The desserts are all homemade and seasonal as well. You just will not find a more unique and personalized dining experience. Highly recommend you find your way to this neighborhood to embark on a memorable experience. I live in Old Town, walking distance from so many restaurants I can't count them and not one can compare to the cuisine quality and experience that Tratto delivers.

All the appetizers were really good the chicken liver was a hefty portion and the lettuce salad was so simple but very tasty. Pasta tasted fresh and were flavors we’ve never tasted before. Everything is well done but simple and not too complex. Bartender was very nice and made me a mocktail.

This restaurant is an undeniable gem for anyone seeking authentic Italian cuisine. Seated at the bar, we indulged in a symphony of flavors, sharing starters, handmade pasta, entrées, and decadent desserts—each dish a masterpiece. Chris Bianco’s passion for his craft shines through every plate, a heartfelt tribute to his roots in Italy. Here, you won’t find Americanized interpretations but rather a reverent celebration of Italy’s culinary heritage. Each dish tells a story, honoring traditional recipes and showcasing ingredients sourced with care and respect for their origins. Dining here is more than a meal—it’s a journey to the soul of Italian cooking.

Amazing meal start to finish. Top quality ingredients treated with care. All the dishes had subtle, balanced flavors, nothing overwhelming. We had the focaccia with whipped ricotta, gem lettuce salad, crispy gnocchi, asparagus, and pork chops. Started with an amuse of pickled strawberry with balsamic drizzle. Superb experience and we can't wait to go back.

Came here for my best friend’s birthday dinner & everything was exceptional! The bartender was incredibly knowledgeable & kind. I ordered the fettuccine & it was perfect. The atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing, overall it was a very peaceful experience. I will be coming back.

Every single visit reminds us why this is our go-to spot for date night when we’re in Phoenix. The food is consistently out of this world—thoughtful, elevated, and absolutely delicious—but what really sets Tratto apart is the service. Our server, Cass, remembered us and remembered that I’m vegetarian, which honestly blew us away—especially considering we don’t even live in Phoenix. That level of care, attention, and genuine hospitality is rare and unforgettable. From the atmosphere to the food to the phenomenal service, Tratto never misses. If you’re looking for a place that makes you feel known, welcomed, and incredibly well-fed, this is it. We’ll keep coming back every time we’re in town. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Every once in a while you have a truly incredible dining experience…last night was one of those. While I initially went back and forth about taking myself out for a fancy dinner for my birthday, I said why not. As someone who worked in leadership with Fairmont Hotels for over seven years, I understand the power of authentic hospitality and genuine service. I dined at the bar and Ash treated me like I was a regular/friend and made me feel like I’m at home. Never rushing me, honest, authentic, and fun. She heard it was my birthday and made it special. Great wine and food recommendations - incredible. Other staff members also heard, and came by to say happy birthday too. Erin, the manager clearly has done a fantastic job with her team and checked in multiple times. Did I expect it, absolutely not. But these experiences rarely happen. I have to share a story. Restaurants like Tratto make magic and more importantly, community happen. Another guest (Dean), was sitting at the bar and must have heard it was my birthday (we never talked except for saying happy birthday on his way out-which already made my day). He left a shocking surprise on my tab…I couldn’t believe it. Kelly, another guest, comes to Tratto because of Erin’s +1 service and was sat next to me. We had a great conservation and surprised me with the focaccia to take home that she raved about all night. I felt honored to sit with such great people (not because of the gifts). I hope Tratto can share this with both their team and Dean/Kelly when they come back. This literally made my week, as someone that doesn’t celebrate their birthday much, nor had anyone to celebrate with. Time to pay it forward, and another reminder to get off the phone and talk to those around you!

Tratto is a treasure to Arizona. Grateful for Bianco’s food. Cassidy was our server and made the whole dining experience one we won’t soon forget. Absolutely amazing!

Cassidy was an amazing server. As good as the food, and the food was excellent. Food allergy aware and concern for one of our guests from multiple severs. We did family style and everything was very tasty. Looking forward to returning soon. Thank you.

First time visit. Very appreciative of how our server was aware of allergies for members of my party and was quick to point out the items that could be an issue. Our server also proceeded to explain the menu and answered questions. The overall experience was excellent. Will definitely be back.

Phenomenal food, fresh made daily. Including homemade/fresh made PASTA! Smaller menu that is rotated but also perfected. Easy to pick from! Tratto has a quaint little restaurant space, it was a little loud in there with every seat filled but it was tolerable! Extremely accommodating staff- down to someone asking if I needed a purse hook for my purse after seeing me place it on the chair!! We were asked beginning of our meal if there were any dietary restrictions and brought us a little sample of other dishes not currently on the menu. As a picky eater, I was nervous coming here but I’m not kidding when I say EVERY. SINGLE. THING. I ate was DELICIOUS. None of it was “meh this was fine”. All of it, bangers. I was kind of surprised they charged for bread until I ate it. I’d pay $20 for a basket of that stuff, my god!! We will absolutely be returning. If you’re considering going, highly suggest a reservation! But they do accept walk-ins too :)

The pasta was very good! Salad was fresh, reasonable price, great service. They were good at filling our water glasses, and good at change our plates to new clean plates after we finish the last course! It made me feel like they were always there to do thing to make us feel good eating there, gave us time to talk to friends, no interruption, no over talking/asking, just thoughtful action with great service. 👍 Chicken liver is a must-order, nicely seasoned and cooked. 👎The $62 Halibut was hmmm… very expensive for 2 pieces of fish that didn’t taste anything special or different than the fish you cook at home. It was a little over cooked, kinda plain flavor. Sorry to say but I don’t think it worths $62.

Not our first time there as we absolutely loved it the last time… eager to get a reservation this time but were ultimately disappointed in the cacio e pepe (was the reason we came back… last time it was incredible) and the service. Felt like we were a bother by being there for our 8:15 reservation. We were rushed to make decisions and threatened w the kitchen closing. Overall disappointing… with so many great dinner options in Phoenix probably won’t go back.

Frickin Netflix... Yeah, we noticed this restaurant because of Chris Bianco's episode of ChefsTable Pizza series, and we bookmarked it for a special occasion. We came in with too high an expectation, or maybe we had appropriate expectations that should have been met. Either way, its a one-and-done. The Chicken Liver appetizer was tasty and a delicacy, but the ratio of liver to bread was a bit high for our palettes. The Limoncello Negroni was tasty but stronger than we anticipated. The fettucini al limone had some spice due to the chili flakes. Fresh pasta in a delightful sauce. We did appreciate the NY strip, whatever seasonings the chef used made the crust fantastic. And the single quartered russet potato with cheese shavings and rosemary paired well with the steak, but the price point was well outside the experience. And based on our waitress' reaction, we can safely assume that chef Bianco doesn't often make an appearance. The night could have been saved had the valet followed through with his promise to bring us the Porsche Cayenne instead of our Kia Soul.

First visit! The pasta with black pepper, Parmesan, and pecorino Romano was the standout—simple yet bursting with flavor, a dish that left us blown away. We also ordered the bucatini, which was good, but the black pepper and cheese pasta stole the show. We started with the focaccia topped with whipped ricotta and honey, which was so delightful that we immediately ordered a second round. The swordfish was cooked to perfection, with a delicate, melt-in-your-mouth texture. We were also lucky to have an amazing server who went above and beyond to explain each dish in detail. He guided us making great recommendations. The restaurant’s decor is well-designed, providing a warm, inviting ambiance, which was refreshing in a rather unremarkable area of town. The Bad: Despite the great food and service, we found the prices to be on the high side. Unfortunately, the experience was also tainted by the attitude of the hostess. We arrived five minutes early for our 6:30 reservation and were told that other guests were “ahead of us,” even though no one was waiting. She offered us an outdoor table, which we declined due to rain and chilly weather, yet she insisted again, mentioning heaters. Her annoyance at our request to be seated inside was apparent, and as we left, she didn’t acknowledge us—a disappointing end to an otherwise enjoyable evening. Tratto’s food and warm service from our waiter made for a memorable meal, but the lack of hospitality at the door made us decide that we would not return.

I had heard good things and had high expectations for Tratto, it’s been on my radar for a while. Food was good, nothing spectacular or impressive. A classic Italian cuisine, Tagliatelle with Duck Leg Ragu and the Chicken Livers dish were the highlights of the night. Ambiance is rustic and retro, nice place for a date night or group of friends. Presentation and platting were dull and could improve. Service was excellent and staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. Menu seems to partially change frequently, not updated online. Wine menu was decent , they have an open kitchen concept facing a wide bar which offers seating and same menu as well. Overall, an average experience

Four of us stopped by without a reservation when restaurant was a third empty. First person was friendly but person in charge of seating looked at us like we were crazy. She could not have been any less friendly. We ate across the way where we had an excellent meal and looked into Tratto on our way out and the same empty tables were there. So much for the reservations but I gather they are doing so well that they do not need customers.
