Excellent hotel. Extremely clean, and as for the food (we only had breakfast), I'd say it was top-notch: the staff were always present and professional, there was a huge variety, and above all, excellent quality. They were truly excellent. Plus, all the staff were very friendly. It's also just steps from the Sanctuary.

You absolutely must stop here and try the ice cream. Certainly one of the best ice cream parlors in Puglia. The Nutella panna cotta, fior di latte, cookies, tiramisu, gaffe, amarena cherry... it's a delight for the taste buds served in a real biscuit cone, which will cost you the modest sum of €2 for two scoops. Excellent value for money...

I don't understand the reviewers who call it the best gelato in the country. I've tried several flavors: -Pistachio: It doesn't taste like pistachio, but rather vanilla. -Dark Chocolate: It tasted like regular chocolate, with a so-so aftertaste. -Cookies: Tasteless. -Fiordilatte: Fairly good. I'll try other flavors, but I'm not satisfied with the one I tried.

Spurred on by reviews praising the gelato's deliciousness, we tried it. Unfortunately, not only is it not artisanal, but it's also made with subpar ingredients. The fruit flavors (melon especially) are almost edible. The overpriced cream is tasteless. The coffee flavor is also a bit strong. I'm very sorry to leave these reviews, but I hope they're helpful to future customers.
