Pizzeria Positano Piazza Adua Reviews
One of the best pizzas I've had in italy. Upon sitting down and when ordering we were asked if anyone is gluten intolerant which was a very good sign. All pizzas have the option to be gluten free and both mine and my better half pizzas were amazing. Definitely recommend Sidenote - great music being played
I had gf pizza and the others in my family had the regular base. All of the pizzas were fresh, hot, and delicious, and they offered some creative and seasonal pizza toppings. The gluten free pizza does not contain deglutenized wheat flour, which is great! The staff were super nice and helpful, even taking a photo of the pizza flour packet for me.
On our first day in Florence, I wanted to try Florentine pizza and, after walking across the Ponte Vecchio, we went in search of a pizzeria. We saw that Pizzeria Positano was rated highly and nearby, so we decided to give it a try. How could we have known that not only would the pizza “A Great Love Story” be some of the best we’d ever had, the greatest part of our experience would be Mario, our server. He was so attentive and wonderfully positive that his mood was infectious! We spoke of a shared love of music and, since it was close to closing time after lunch, he changed up the playlist to reflect our shared favorites. It is rare to find a place with amazing food, wonderful service, and a person who makes the whole experience memorable in the best way but that was what we found at Pizzeria Positano on n Florence! Grazie mille, Mario!
This is not just food, its an experience, the taste for gluten free pizza is unbeatable. Highly recommended of you are a tourist and you are near by, this is must try. Very welcoming and friendly staff, Bruno is the star of the show, he was very helpful and patient and on top of all welcoming.. this is an experience not just filling your tummy with good Italian pizza
Gluten free? Eat here. When was the last time you had cheese-stuffed crust on a fresh gluten-free pizza dough? Or tried creamy buffalo mozzarella? (Order the Annare pizza to get both!) Craving fried comfort food? How about a gluten-free croquette or Italian style mac & cheese ball?! Yes, fried and safe! They take Celiac precautions seriously here—gluten-free meals even come on a separate, color-coded plate. Bruno will take good care of you! No reservation? Come early—this place is small and gets slammed fast.
Im going to keep this one short. Food: The best pizza I've ever had. Service: Bruno was our server and recommended us the pizzas we (my family and I) ate. He's also a really fun dude to be around. Atmosphere: Basic but still amazing and lively and much much better than other places I've gone to. Only problem: Discovering this on the last day of our trip, not their fault whatsoever. Overall: 5 stars, best place I've ever went to.
We had an amazing gluten free pizza and a delicious croquette of mac & cheese pasta that was to die for! They have so many Gluten-free options and the pizza was incredible!! Bruno was super welcoming and service was warm and friendly ! We are definitely coming back!!! 10 out 10
The only problem was discovering this pizzeria on the last day of our trip. The pizza was absolutely delicious... full of flavor. The place has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Bruno took great care of us, super friendly and attentive. If we ever come back to Florence, this will definitely be the first pizza place we go to!
In my 5+ decades of life, I've lived in several countries, I've owned and operated an upscale restaurant, I've traveled all over Europe, and I've been an unapologetically picky eater. BEST DAMN PIZZA I'VE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. EVER. PERIOD. Bruno was the icing on the Nutella pizza, he took excellent care of us. The only complaint I have is that I waited until our last night in Florence to eat here. Once a trip is not enough. I've had pizzas all over Italy over the last two weeks. This was by far the best.
This small pizzeria is the best pizza you’ll find in Florence. Maybe the best you will ever have. Our waiter, who I believe is the owner, was extremely friendly and gracious, and helpful with recommendations. Go here or you are missing out. (Apologies for the crust in the pic…we were so excited by the pizza we started eating before putting down the slices to snap a shot)
Pizza was great. Bruno, our server told me that this would be the best pizza I’ve ever had and boy he was so right! I had a Queen of the Sele Gluten free pizza, my husband had other regular pizza and when he tried my crust he was surprised how tasty it was. Best of all, 2 different kitchens to avoid cross contamination. Gluten free is served in a yellow plate and regular on a white plate to avoid any confusion. Gluten free beer, and you should definitely need to try the “Ferrero Rocher” dessert!

A very good and delicious pizza. The only thing that make me freak out afterwards is that they didn’t write the Coperto on the cart but charged them. What I read online is that a law says the coperto has to be visible on the menu I checked afterwards on the digital menu, which I also used in the restaurant and couldn’t find it anywhere.
