The last time I was at Capo Nord, it was still under the original management. I went back last night, a nice trip down memory lane. I noticed my favorite sandwich was still on the menu! For those looking for a traditional pub experience, Capo Nord is the perfect place. It's great for a beer and good food with friends while watching the game in peace. Prices are, I must say, fair. The four of us spent €57 for two sandwiches/focaccias, a piadina, a plate of speck, crostini, and melted gorgonzola, two Cokes, one medium light, one mojito, and two iced coffees. We'll be back.
We went to Capo, as we have been doing for several years. The staff was fast and professional. Excellent food and service! The icing on the cake was the manager, Carmen, who made the evening even more enjoyable.
I grew up in this place... so many memories... my first outings as a teenager... Well, obviously, it's a historic Nice venue that has raised dozens and dozens of young people... always good food, friendly and attentive staff even when the place is packed... The atmosphere? The classic pub that you don't find around anymore...

A historic restaurant in Nice. All the food on the menu is excellent, especially the meat, which is amazing. The staff is very friendly and helpful. On Friday nights, there are live bands.

I've been coming to this place often for work now. Excellent service, great food, and reasonable prices. The menu and beer selection are impressive. Don't forget the large seating areas for watching the games: it's a bit American-style.

Good quality food and beer
It's obvious to call it a typical pub; more likely, it's the historic pub in the Nizza Canelli area and surrounding areas, where I think we've all spent at least one Saturday. It's returned to its former glory, with a varied and quality menu. Prices are reasonable for a pub, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the service a bit sluggish, but overall, it's good. You can watch the games.
I would have given it a full 5 stars, but since the first 3 items I ordered weren't available, like... pork tomahawk, veal rib... come on, you can't, take it off the menu and you'll make a better impression.... Anyway, the rest of the sandwiches were very good, the staff were kind and knowledgeable, and the beer was fabulous. Congratulations, I'll definitely be back.
I disagree with the negative reviews about the place. It's unfair and highlights the low personality of those who run it, putting people who are otherwise working at risk. I know the current team well, and they have other very good and important places in the area. The management staff has experience to offer in the field. My advice: give it a try.
Excellent quality meat. Excellent value for money. Very busy on weekends. For those who prefer a quieter place, it's best to go during the week.
The staff was a bit argumentative, but helpful. Service was slow for a place that was still empty. Nice place. My hot dog had a sour taste; perhaps the mustard wasn't the quality I'm used to.
