Bella struttura al centro della piazza di Cernobbio, con tavoli all’ esterno sotto un grande ombrellone … tutto perfetto dalla posizione all’ allestimento della struttura . Non è la prima volta che ci vado, ma non avevo mai ordinato la pizza, buona anche quella. Tutti molto cordiali e professionali, in particolar modo l’ultima volta ci ha colpito la gentilezza e il sorriso che portava ad ogni tavolo la ragazza che ci ha servito. Complimenti a tutti

6 dicembre 2025 io e miei amici siamo venuti a Cernobbio per vedere i mercatini di Natale, ma ahimè abbiamo sbagliato giorno. Dopo un giro tra i negozi siamo andati in cerca di un locale per un aperitivo. L’onda ha svoltato la nostra giornata, locale lungo lago, struttura stupenda e curata nel dettaglio, il cibo e i cocktail buonissimi. Serviti dalla gentilissima e molto professionale Anna siamo stati davvero bene.

One of my best experiences in Italy! The food was wonderful and I think a modern take on traditional Italian dishes. I loved the brown butter sage sauce. Location quasi mozzafiato di fronte al lago di como. Buona la fornitura delle bottiglie di vino anche se devo segnalare che nonostante vi troviate in Lombardia, terra piena di cantine vinicole e vino di qualità, di bottiglie lombarde ne vendono solo 1. Location unica nel centro di Cernobbio, Atmosfera molto piacevole e romantica! Abbiamo preso due antipasti e una pizza: nulla da dire su quest’ultima però magari un suggerimento sarebbe l’aggiunta di una salsa per il carpaccio di mare. Anche da mettere a parte ma credo che darebbe più personalità al piatto! Servizio da migliorare. Per il resto tutto ottimo! Sono sicura che la prossima volta sarà perfetto!

Sono già stata in questo ristorante e mi sono sempre trovata bene. Questa volta però ho avuto una brutta esperienza: mi è stato servito un piatto con funghi e uno di essi presentava chiaramente segni di vermi. Quando l’ho fatto notare al cameriere, mi ha risposto che i funghi erano stati lavati. Certo, nessuno ha detto che fossero sporchi, ma il problema era la loro qualità. Un vero peccato, anche se la pizza era molto buona.

We walked in rather late and they sat us right away, they have some issues with fruit flies and made us aware that they will go away. The female server was very kind and nice, we appreciated her hospitality as you don’t get that often in como. The food - the pasta was so Al dente I actually had to bite through it which was unfortunate because the sauce was some of the best red sauce I’ve had on this trip! I would try this place again.

Was very sceptical about eating here due to the reviews but I'm glad that my experience was a positive one. The devil pizza was delicious and they accommodated for my friend who was GF. They swapped the normal pasta for her dish to a GF one served with a GF bread. The fries were as you can see overcooked sadly. The service could be better we did stand waiting to be received but this is minor. Their cocktails are nice and they do a good pinot. Beautiful settings at night too.

La posizione è buona, con una splendida vista sulla città e sul lago🏞️ Ma una trappola per turisti☝️ Non c'è menu, devi guardare attraverso lo scanner, ma non ha funzionato. I prezzi sono alti e prezzi di froosh non c'è. Il personale non è organizzato. Ho notato che i camerieri non prestano attenzione ai tavoli con i piatti sporchi, e un paio di volte sono venuti i clienti, hanno aspettato che qualcuno arriva e se ne sono andati dopo 10 minuti.

Ci siamo fermati per un aperitivo a Luglio 2020. Un posto carino dove gustare un buon cocktail guardando il lungolago di Cernobbio, ottima anche la pizza che abbiamo preso come aperitivo. Mi è spiaciuto attribuire due stelle all'ambiente, ma non è bello vedere all'interno persone schiacciate ai tavoli e personale fare slalom per evitare il disastro coi vassoi in mano..nota ancor più negativa i bagni sporchi, senza sapone al lavandino e carta igienica (magari ho preso io quello sbagliato). Prezzi piuttosto alti giustificati dalla zona spettacolare e dai tanti turisti stranieri incompetenti in cucina e pronti a lasciare belle mance😅....nota positiva però ai ragazzi addetti al servizio ai tavoli e all'ambiente esterno che si lascia guardare, ho anche apprezzato le stufette e le coperte ai tavoli. Per me che sono della zona è sicuramente un posto di passaggio per un caffè.

Volevamo semplicemente placare la nostra piccola fame. Abbiamo ordinato due Campari Spritz, una birra e un'acqua minerale. Da mangiare, una Gazpacho, un'insalata Caesar, patatine fritte per i bambini e una pizza. Uno dei Campari Spritz era rosso come si deve, l'altro invece era rosa. I bambini hanno atteso invano il ketchup che avevamo ordinato. L'insalata Caesar da 22 euro non era affatto abbondante, ma la Gazpacho ha superato ogni aspettativa: conteneva a malapena tre cucchiai. Per dolce avremmo voluto il gelato, ma non era disponibile a causa di un frigorifero guasto. Abbiamo optato quindi per un tiramisù e un babà con crema e caffè. Per questa "piccola fame" abbiamo pagato la considerevole cifra di 158 euro. Chi pensa che io non sappia che nei ristoranti stellati si servono porzioni piccole ma raffinate, si sbaglia. Tuttavia, prezzi esageratamente alti uniti a porzioni esageratamente piccole non trasformano un ristorante turistico in un ristorante gourmet.

We stopped at Onda Cocktail Bar in Cernobbio and, unfortunately, left quite disappointed. The location itself is undeniably charming – a lovely place to sit and enjoy the surroundings – but the drinks did not live up to expectations. We ordered an Aperol Spritz and an “Aloha” virgin cocktail. The Aperol was priced at €12, which is unusually high compared to the average €7–8 you’d find almost anywhere else in Italy. The virgin cocktail cost €10, but sadly it was little more than overly sweet syrup, without any creativity, balance, or even a garnish to make it feel special. For the prices charged, we expected a higher standard of both quality and presentation.

At first everything was fine. Our order was taken, but unfortunately we got our food first and then our drinks. After eating we asked for the bill, for which we waited about 45 minutes! We asked for the bill 3 times! Around us other customers were being served even though we were waiting. Finally, after the 4th time we asked for it, another lady came and told us that we could have gone inside and paid, but how could we have known that. The food for the price was average, but the service was terrible. Unpleasant treatment despite the waiter's error, and it was not our fault. Unpleasant place, I think there are better choices around.

The location is great because you have the como lake in front of you. But our experience with the staff was very unpleasant. When we paid our bill (about 16 Euro), I gave her 50 Euro and she didn't give us the change immediately. Instead she returned to the kitchen, took orders from other guests, brought them food and took their payment in the following 10 minutes. I had to chase her for the change. If you have to eat here, pay with a card.

Colpita e affOndata Che dire… più alta dell’aspettativa, c’è la delusione. Se volete consumare un drink o un pasto e non reni e fegato, sconsiglio questo locale. Attesa interminabile per esser considerati in accoglienza, dai camerieri per l’ordine, dai baristi per preparare l’ordine e dai camerieri per portarlo. Cocktail list elaborata, ma non all’altezza, drink senza nè carattere nè gusto e sinceramente per dei signature che hanno un prezzo di partenza di €12 un cliente parte con delle aspettative, senza considerare i soft o la caffetteria e bypassando interamente il food. Per giunta ad orario brunch/aperitivo, in Italia si suol dare qualche stuzzichino, evidentemente locale turistico perché sembrano non passare dal convento. Un mese fa ho richiesto un preventivo per il mio compleanno e ho parlato direttamente con uno dei proprietari, che mi aveva assicurato un riscontro a breve. Da quel momento è sparito completamente. Nonostante ripetuti solleciti, non sono mai stata ricontattata. Un comportamento del genere non solo dimostra zero professionalità, ma mi ha fatto perdere tempo inutilmente. Eravamo a Cernobbio per una passeggiata e abbiamo deciso di fermarci al bar Onda. Innanzitutto non era possibile avere un menu perche bisognava inquadrare QR code. Abbiamo chiesto di poter vedere le propste e ci e' stato detto che non era possibile e che dovevamo vedere con il cellulare. Abbiamo ordinato uno spritz, due affogati al caffe' e un gelato al cioccolato. Intanto l'attesa lunghissima, l'invasione dei piccioni anche su di un tavolo apparecchiato con tovaglioli, piatti e posate su cui hanno lasciato anche un ricordino. L'igiene non e' di casa.Abbiamo pagato € 27.00. Lasciamo perdere la poca e scarsa professionalita'. Mi spiace perche la zona e bella cosi come il panorama. E sicuro che non ci torneremo piu....e non siamo turisti.

Trappolone…. Esperienza: 4 amici a cena in una calda sera di luglio, desiderosi di cenare con un po’ d’arietta di lago. Risultato: deludente!! Iniziamo dai lati positivi: la location, nella posizione migliore di Cernobbio. Aggiungiamo pure una cameriera sorridente e gentile (non conosco il nome, so solo che ha detto di essere siberiana). Dopo di che, STOP. I (tanti) lati negativi: 1) I tavoli sono vicinissimi tra loro, tanto che, per passare, sia i clienti che i camerieri devono fare improbabili slalom. Di conseguenza, anche se si è praticamente a bordo lago, solo le prime file hanno un po’ d’aria, per gli altri c’è solo afa…noi eravamo in seconda fila ed era ok ma i commensali più indietro sudavano 2) il servizio è approssimativo: a parte la su menzionata cameriera, gli altri erano spaesati e sia l’antipasto che il piatto principale sono stati prima portati ai tavoli vicino al nostro 3) Cibo decisamente non memorabile: fiori di zucca unti (a 3€ l’uno…), bruschette con pomodoro insapore, primi piatti e dolci passabili ma nulla di più 4) Prezzi decisamente alti rispetto a quanto fornito Ciliegina finale: si paga alla cassa (e vista l’affluenza ci sta)….ma, una volta che la persona davanti a noi ha pagato, il cameriere/cassiere va via e ci molla per andare a fare il piacione ad un tavolo con 2 belle ragazze….mah…per fortuna è intervenuta un’altra cassiera a rimediare dopo 5 minuti 5 di attesa per pagare. Mi sono recata in questo locale poiché ero in piazza Risorgimento per il mercatino. Ho visto che era un ristorante per cui ho chiesto se faceva anche servizio bar. Alla risposta affermativa ho ordinato una birra media e una cocacola zero... lo scontrino parla da sé... alle mie rimostranze mi hanno"scontato" 5 euro... ho pagato anche se ritenevo follia 4 euro una cocacola... ma 6 euro per una birra media ci poteva stare... quando recandomi al bar per ritirare ciò che avevo ordinato mi trovo... un bicchiere di birra da 0.3... Ok che volete salassare i turisti ma mi sembra pura follia!

Tourists trap! We ordered 3 Pizza's, 2 Aperols and 2 colas! With payment the manager told us that we ordered 5 Pizza's! I got at least double price as 147 euro! We sat there because we thought it looked cool. We were served two extremely watered down spritzes (huge disappointment as an Italian) and we had to ask them twice for some crisps/olives and they barely brought any. The toilets were also a big disappointment as the ladies' was dirty, the door wouldn't close and they even ran out of toilet paper, which is not exactly what you expect from a place that looks so elegant and curated. It's all a facade, apparently!
