Smeraldo Piazzale Cremona Reviews
I went to Smeraldo with two of my friends during our trip to Italy. We were treated really well! The staff was kind and welcoming. Food was truly amazing. I’d say one of the best I’ve had in Italy so far (and I tried a lot). We were also treated with homemade limoncello which made our dinner even better. Smeraldo is a local place and you can feel Italian vibe there! Grazie mille per la tua fantastica esperienza!
3min walk from B&B Brescia hotel where we're staying. Server was friendly & attentive to us throughout & gave us recommendations & additional stuff like spicy oil for our pizza & fish. We ordered a sea breem that was nicely steamed & served in a kinda soup made up of butter, olive oil & tomatoes. It was served with carrots & some red & yellow peppers if I remember correctly. It was nice - a light seasoning to the fish but the bone-removal process was quite a chore 😅 We also had a salami + salted fish (I think) pizza that was huge as we requested for thin crust so the pizza was more spread out. The olives & salted fish bits were too salty in my opinion. I had to take them out as their salty taste overwhelmed the whole bite. The edges of about ⅓ of the pizza was totally burnt so we also removed that. Overall a nice & affordable eatery. Do note that there's a cover charge of €1.50/person & 10% VAT charge.
A highlight of my travel: the pizza was amazing, the dough and everything, and ready so fast ! The waiter was really nice and very helpful, he recommended us a good wine and the best dessert, and also told the story of the pizzaria, that counts dozens of years. He also spoke decent English :) The walls have prints of Kandinsky and some funny old italian movie pictures on. Don't miss out!
Very pleasant place, tasty pizza 😁
Ok
Don't normally do reviews but sat here all on my Jack Jones .......So here goes , a very Italian restaurant. Seems very popular with the locals, which is a plus. Had the Pizza which was one of the best I've had washed down with a few pints of the local nectar! Price more than responsible and that's coming from an original Ebenezer.

1 Star because the PR was rude AF. When we try to enter he told us that : "Usually we ask to enter" That ironic moustache face he had ... you do not talk like that in a person and a customer you just met ,this is very unprofessional ... also no one was at the entrance. Our meal too comes after a group of people that came after us . They were locals maybe thats why. If you are a tourist in Italy you will suffer from harassment sadly.. Menu is never translate in english for tourists ,many locals also they try to avoid speaking it in many places etc..
I arrived 22:30 and it was closed. On Google it shows open until 23:30
