Good size selection of breakfast and lunch items. Went on a Sunday around noon. Had maybe a 15-20 min wait but we'll worth it. The pork belly bowl with eggs cooked to order was excellent with the pork belly fried and tender. Added the kids menu french toast and bacon which was cheaper than ala carte. One in the group got the bourbon French toast which was good. Another had the feta cheese omelet. All were happy with selections. Prices very reasonable. No bar. Wonderful wait staff. No reservations that I could tell. Walk in and write your name and party size and whether you prefer inside or out or no preference. Not a large place so arrive early. Parking on street or lot across the street. Visiting from out of town. Hope to return.

Favorite halfway spot to meet friends in SF if you’re in north Bay Area. Right in downtown Pinole, close to street and city public parking. Food is Filipino-California Fusion. A must try for those seeking good eats at an excellent price. I hope they make it at least to Michelin Guides, food is really very good. The place is a mom and pop’s family owned restaurant. If Anthony Bourdain was still alive, he would enjoy this place.

Highly recommend this delicious spot for breakfast or lunch. Great fusion offerings blending traditional American with Filipino favorites! My husband enjoyed his generous plating of strawberry waffles with delicious ube sauce and a side of sunnyside up eggs. I devoured my brisket with perfectly prepared over easy eggs served with a side of Hollandaise, home fries, and freshly baked biscuit. Super friendly and efficient service. Every table was filled with seemingly happy diners. We will definitely return!

Superb food from this quaint and cozy restaurant. You are going to love their Ube Pancakes! This is the ube taste I’ve been searching for far and wide. A taste only few have been able to satisfy. I applaud the place for such delicious tasting ube pancakes. I also got the Huevos Rancheros and wow so flavorful and tasty! The service was wonderful, our waitress had all smiles and friendly attitude. It was refreshing. Absolutely my new favorite place for breakfast! I can’t wait to try more off the menu.

Going to Hercules for a pre construction site visit and arrived an hour early. Needed breakfast and searched for "near by." Found Sue's and 1.6 miles later I arrived. Greeted immediately upon entering and seated. Good sized cups of coffee and ordered up a traditional breakfast of eggs, linguica (sp?) sausage, home style potatoes and sour dough toast. I say traditional because I got the sense this is a Philippine style restaurant. They have some real interesting variations of things. The food was excellent, service was exceptional and location convenient. As we do work here I'll push my crew guys towards this establishment. Reasonably priced compared to other places and I'll definitely return here again.

The food was excellent. The atmosphere is friendly inviting and feels like family. The food was very tasty and the cook does not use salt. Excellent flavor. Good size portions. And I'll say it one more time super friendly.

One of my new favorite spots and I have my friend to thank. She had never been either but she looked up best spots in Pinole and she read and shared that they have some Filipinx-fusion meals, it was an immediate "yes" for me. So after our stroll through Point Pinole Regional Shoreline, this sounded like a pleasant space to enjoy a meal. We elected to sit outside - it was breezy but we were protected enough by the outdoor cover that it did not negatively affect our experience. Our server was outstanding - Diana (I hope I spelled it correctly, if not and someone sees this, please correct me). She was incredibly pleasant and accommodated my need for decaf coffee (since no one really drinks decaf she did brew me a pot of it). My friend ordered the tuna sandwich and I ordered the Bistek Silog. I was quite excited for this meal. Per the menu, Bistek Silog is "ribeye steak seasoned with Filipino adobo sauce grilled with onions. Served with 2 eggs, garlic rice, & pickled vegetables." I did not have any pickled vegetables but there was plenty on my plate to enjoy and enjoy I did. It was delicious. Quality food and quality service. Diana provided optimal service, great person overall and loved her earrings (one was a frying pan with an egg I think and the other a spatula). I cannot guarantee you will have Diana as your server if you go, but I have no doubt that the quality and service provided will be phenomenal. And please, as with anything, be patient and enjoy the experience. It really is a great spot and I will be back to try the Bourbon Street French Toast and Eggs Benedict (probably not in the same trip but over several).

Absolutely A gem!! I've been seeing their page in FB for a while now. Yesterday was my birthday and I wanted breakfast there. Took a short trip across the Carquinez bridge with my Dad & daughter. Though it is small, it is filled with cute decor, the friendliest people there and wonderful food!! I had the banana/strawberry pancakes! We found out Sue is the chef, her mom was a server~so sweet and such a good vibe! Very nice to talk a few minutes to Sue and give her our feeling in the place! Please give this place a try~so worth it!!

Walked in around 11AM on a Sunday. Parking was scarce but weather was great for a quick 5 minute 2 block walk. Got seated immediately. Drinks were served, order was placed, order was received and all was great. Partner ordered a Breakfast Burrito. Served piping hot. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak and eggs. Substituted hashbrowns for fruit bowl and sourdough toast. Everything came out perfect. Service was good. Only had to ask for a refill of water glass once. Place got really busy during our stay. When we left, there were at least 3 parties waiting to get seated. Owned by a Filipina and serves a lot of Filipino food here. Lots of UBE pancakes and waffles, adobo, etc. Both Breakfast and lunch served here. I recommend giving it a try!

Wow, Sue’s place was awesome. The place looked like it’s been there for ages. It’s small and narrow. BUT it looks like a hidden gem to the locals. It was full when I came in but it had that cozy feeling inside. I couldn’t decide what to order because they were all good. The staff were friendly and patient for waiting for me to order. Th service was fast too.

Great old times vibes uplifted by the fusion of classic diner fare with a Filipino twist. Delicious! If you sit at the bar you'll get a first-hand view of Sue herself, hard at work on the line.

A fantastic spot for anyone craving traditional American comfort food. The service was amazing—quick, friendly, and always with a smile. I had the steak and potatoes, and it was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy with just the right seasoning. The mashed potatoes were creamy, and the gravy was rich and flavorful. The ambiance was charming, with a retro diner feel, complete with classic Americana photos on the walls and a relaxed, family-friendly vibe. It’s the ideal place to enjoy a hearty, satisfying meal.

Oh wow! Who knew this place existed?!! I’m from the area but currently live in Texas so when I wanted to have brunch with friends I found this place on suggestions. I am glad I did!! I love Filipino breakfasts. There is also Hawaiian and American type fare. I had the chicken fried loco moco and ube coconut pancakes. Both were extremely good. Right down to the garlic fried rice. I can’t wait to visit “home” so I can have brunch at this place again. Going to take my mom and sister. Service was excellent as well. (No Pictures because I was so hungry!)

Classic old local diner feel, very cute. We waited awhile for a table but were helped quickly after sitting down. Coffee was hot and pretty strong! OJ tasted pretty fresh. Food was mostly good (perfect biscuits and gravy) although I don’t recommend the “pig-and-waffles” dish; the pork belly was dry and overcooked to the point of tasting burned. The waffles themselves were decent, drowned in what seemed to be applesauce and topped with lil pieces of pineapple. Maybe this is a Filipino classic dish, I don’t know, but I wish we had just ordered the regular chicken-n-waffles here instead.

Ok so I had the tower of waffle, a biscuit with sausage gravy and the braised brisket. The waffles were really tasty but I was disappointed in the size and cost of the dish (looked different than the menu pictures). The biscuit was ok but the sausage gravy to me was subpar in flavor and bits. The brisket was tasty but again didn't say to me I'd make another trip back for it. The staff was great, the ambience was ok the place was small and parking took a few minutes. They did however have a huge Christmas stripper pole in the middle of the place.

Went for breakfast and wanted the bourbon French Toast. Server got to talking and didn't get that. No worries, everything was tasty. My lady loved her ube pancakes and tofu scramble!

The adobo bowl was delicious. The linguica was not that good for $8/ piece on the side. The wait was not that bad for a Sunday morning (around 10am)

Always so friendly and happy to check in and ask or tell about the food. Brie on pancakes? YES! A take on baked Brie and fruit; these were just the way to start my day. Also they keep the coffee coming.

The place was way overly priced for the food provided the menu was also misleading, which allowed them to over price you, if you didn’t understand what they wrote. The food was moderate but not worth the price. I would seek another place.
