I’ve been to Desi Bites before but in Irving. This restaurant has recently opened and I thought of trying it here as well. I must say the taste and quantity are exactly the same 👌🏻 I tried Burnt Garlic Fried Rice & Veg Manchurian, both of them were delicious. For now they are offering introductory offer on few of their items. They also offered us a complimentary Irani Chai (Tea) which was great. I would recommend visiting this place! The staff is friendly and there is plenty of seating available.

Haleem taste was too good, Hyderabad authentic style. Best Haleem in Dallas.

Haven’t tried anything other than their Haleem and it’s very good will visit any number of times just for that

We visited this hotel as a group of three and enjoyed their breakfast buffet — it was absolutely worth the money! The allapu chutney and palli chutney were standout favorites, bursting with authentic flavor. The overall quality of the food was excellent, with fresh ingredients and great taste in every dish. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a satisfying and value-for-money breakfast experience!

Great food! The naan is freshly made, soft, with a slight crisp! Their kababs are well-seasoned and grilled to perfection. The chicken kababs are tender, with just the right amount of spice, while the lamb kababs are juicy and packed with a smoky flavor. Tried the mutton roast curry which was yummy! Overall, Desi Bites does a great job of delivering authentic taste, making it a go-to spot. Highly recommended for a flavorful, casual dining experience.

One of the better tasting restaurants opened during last 3 months in Plano. Gongura paneer biryani is very good and veg manchuria is not as bad as I expected, tasted very good. Liked the indo-Chinese fusion dishes. This restaurant better stay consistent otherwise its gonna be hard since it has two more Indian restaurants in the corner.

The owner is nice and staff is courteous. I liked their kabab items and special biryani. Would like to give order here again.

This is my first time visiting desi bites plano , the food is really excellent and especially every one need to try out the fried rice , which is very good which includes correct measurements of all the spice levels , i have never tried this type of fried rice in US. And the starters were really good i have tried two different paneer kabab starter , those are must to try out 🔥🔥

Woww..I mean absolutely authentic!!!!! I ordered Desi Bites special chicken biryani and Chicken fried rice, both the items were extremely good and tasted wonderful. Their way of packing was unique and kept the food fresh. I will definitely recommend this place and order from here regularly. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Smallish interior with a mix of booth seats and rustic chair style tables. They have seating inside and on the patio. First time try with them, we had a meat thali for lunch hour during the work week. Great sampler type of dish - they also had marble glass bottle soft drinks including mojito and masala flavor sodas.

Amazing Haleem, Served Piping Hot & Live. Best In Dallas Metro. Tried their Dhaba Style Platter with 3 meats which is great value for the money. Will definitely visit again

Had their Tuesday special $10 biryani deal. Tried Desi bites special biryani and enjoyed it. Can't treat it as biryani but eat it like it's pulav and you will enjoy too. Good people. Will come back again.

The food was decent, but not exceptional.. Overall, it’s a good spot if you’re craving Indian food, but there’s room for improvement in consistency and seasoning.

Ordered chicken fried combo and burnt garlic fried rice(veg) and hakka noodles Food was very dry and lacked any flavor. Will give it a shot again when they start kebabs but not worth the trip for indo chinese food!

I don’t eat eggs, and the curry came loaded with boiled egg pieces—something that should have been mentioned on the menu or by the server. It also came with a small side of rice, which wasn’t enough for even one person, so we had to order garlic naan separately to make it a proper meal. The chicken drumsticks, however, were the real disappointment. They tasted stale, almost like they had just been reheated, and the heavy sprinkle of chaat masala on top completely ruined the flavor. This a BYOB place. The other time i was here i had ginger chicken and tandoori chicken. They were pretty yum but i believe they arent consistent with their taste in other items I usually like this spot for other dishes, but this particular order was definitely a no-no for me.

We tried the haleem and the biryanis. The haleem was okay, pretty average. The chicken fry biryani was the real disappointment. It tasted like plain biryani rice with regular chicken curry mixed in. The pieces weren’t fried, just soft like curry chicken, and the whole thing didn’t have much flavor at all.

The service was pathetic. I ordered my food and waited for 30 min, I went to counter and the girl told me that give us 10 more minutes, from the response I found that they forget to prepare my food and there was no rush at that time, only 2 other person has ordered.

If you are looking for authentic food, don't go here. If you are looking for mystery flavors, then this the perfect place for you. Rice is the only exception to the above, as the rice is good in all the dishes I ate. Portions smaller than I expected looking at it competitors. All the meats are very average. You can cook food just as good if not better at home for far cheaper. Just don't come here. Go to one of its competitors if you need to.

My wife and I went to the restaurant on Monday Labor Day at 3:11 PM. We sat there at the front counter, waiting for someone to take our order. Several people walked by us did not say a word did not greet us or anything. We sat there for approximately seven minutes and we decided to walk out. The service was terrible. I will never go back there again. Is there a certain race that you guys serve, I’m black and you did not welcome me and my wife. Whoever the owner is or manager they should contact me. We deserve better service than that. Mr. Chapman, thank you.

Horrible food. Horrible atmosphere with loud music. Haleem is a nightmare. DO NOT EAT HALEEM HERE. Do not fall in to those Instagram influencers words. Absolutely disgusting food. No wonder people develop cardiac issues eating at such places.

It’s not possible that I had to wait 20 minutes for my meal when a restaurant is completely empty!! It was just a chicken curry!! I think they went to the chicken slaughterhouse because the wait was very long!!

I didn’t like the taste of food at all. I hardly give negative reviews but I literally left eating after one bite. My husband had some but he also left after sometime. I don’t know about other cuisines but I would suggest never ever eat dosa or chilli paneer.

Highly disappointed and don’t want to return again. Firstly they took 45 mins for a pickup order when there were no other orders waiting. Secondly I ordered sathibabu pulao which is undercooked and no spicy at all. Dhaba style platter is as bad as the sathibabu pulao. Sincere advice- have some one at the counter and at-least give answers to people.

I ordered Vegetable Biryani and Paneer Butter Masala under the "Buy 1 Get 1 Free" offer via Uber Eats, but what I got was a health hazard. The biryani was STALE, SMELLING REALLY BAD, and tasted sour. As a breastfeeding mom, I'm not just worried about myself, but also my newborn who could be affected by the potential food poisoning.Overall, - Stale and spoiled food - Serious health risk - Lack of quality control 🟥 "Buy 1 Get 1 Free" shouldn't mean serving rotten food Don't serve stale food just to fulfill orders. Your customers' health is more important than your profits. Check your food quality before serving, and don't compromise on NEVER ordering from this place again. You lost a customer due to your carelessness.

The egg schezwan rice is not even tasty or good. I didn't like it at all. It could be atleast better.

WORST HALEEM - Dont trust Instagram promotions Mutton Fry briyani was just disaster - served with very plain biryani rice and Fried mutton

Tried mysore bonda, samosa, Manchuria and irani chai, asked specifically if the snacks were fresh, but served very cold and pale food, was offered complimentary replacement for the mysore bonda, but couldn't find anything reasonably good to try, even the peanut chutney served was served cold and tasteless.

We ordered 2 family packs of Haleem and tried it , but it was quite disappointing. The texture was very watery and loose instead of the rich, thick consistency that Haleem is known for. Overall a very bad experience not worth the money spent.

Seriously worst haleem at Plano location. Last one year haleem wasn’t available at this location n used to call and then drive to frisco location to get . Now they changed little bit n started more marketing .. after the haleem season they are back to square to say for most of the items. Also every Monday they closed but their team Post haleem videos in insta so people calling to find out but they are close. Very funny mgmt. I wish it could be like Irving and frisco where the actual tall girl takes care very well!! Her focus is only Quality and consistency and available all The time any item you ask them. She served sarvapindi, kudumulu apricot delight , khubani ka meeta all hyd dishes

We planned to visit Desi Bites in Plano and tried calling the restaurant several times beforehand, but no one answered the phone. Since we didn’t get a response, we decided to go there directly before 9 PM. Unfortunately, when we asked for the dish we wanted, we were told it was already over. It would really help customers if calls were answered so we know the availability before coming all the way to the restaurant. Also, the staff response in the store wasn’t very helpful or polite when we asked about it. Overall, this was a disappointing experience and I hope the service improves.

I tried Haleem after seeing all the hype from Instagram influencers. It costs low but even at that price, the taste should still matter. Unfortunately, it was very disappointing. The Haleem was watery almost like someone had diluted it the way you’d add water to sambar. Definitely not worth it. Please stop with the paid promotions, influencers.
