Tea Town Plano Reviews
I used to go here almost every day to week durning my senior year of high school. The man that works here all the time is the sweetest and always made the best drinks and bubble waffles. The fries that come with the popcorn chicken taste similar to McDonald's fries but 10x better. Some drinks I recommend is the Okinawa and the lychee strawberry tea. I love this place
Fantastic service and drinks, with a great cafe atmosphere! I got their Halo-Halo Milkshake and Buko Pandan with ube ice cream, and it was so good I even bought seconds for the road. This place is my new favorite cafe of all time. I go to school in Oklahoma, but this cafe is one of my must-visit locations whenever my friends and I drive down to the DFW area.
Their Taho (豆腐花) reminds me of the ones you can get on the streets of NYC Manhattan and Flushing. In other words, it is so good! Their popcorn chicken and boba are also very good. I’d love to try their other street food, drinks, and especially the egg waffle dessert. Just from looking at the other customers, the other food looks just as good.
A cute, cozy little merienda! Angel, the Owner is always so very kind and joyful!! The lumpia is delicious and a large portion! We ordered 50 for a company lunch and they were a hit! My favorite is mixing the dairy free Okinawa with the Ube foam. It is everything delicious, the salt in the Ube balances out the flavors of the Okinawa. Order it and let Angel know it’s the “Celeste” Ube Okinawa drink! Try the Filipino pastries as well, all are made by Angel and reminds me so much of childhood.
This is a pretty nice place! It’s very comfortable, nice background music, nice drinks, and free wifi! First time I’ve been here and I’ll come back again :)
I come here pretty consistently and have had a couple different drinks. My favorite is the buko pandan and I get it with no sugar since it’s still a sweet drink. I also got the pink gulaman with no sugar which tasted really good (amazing if you like coconut flavor). Their coconut cream drinks are also creamy and I recommend if you like coconut. I will say, it is quite pricey but also one of the only Filipino places in the area. It’s also quite hot inside so I wouldn’t stay too long and usually take things to-go.
Tried this place for the first time. Good flavor! Loved my taho! Tokwang baboy was my favorite 😍 😋! My son loved the popcorn chicken. I wanted the buko pandan drink to go! But they were out of the coconut and the green jelly! Its not the same without it! So I was disappointed. But staff was very friendly. Good customer service.
I have had Halo Halo at the Taste of Philippines and Scoops N Buns, but the Halo Halo milkshake here is over the top good! I also had the chicken and waffle and enjoyed my meal. The waffle texture is wonderful! It has the perfect atmosphere for hanging out and being yourself!
Very cute cafe with so many amazing unique pastry choices! It is definitely worth checking out, I would love to go again. I got a simple black tea with lychee flavoring and it was delicious.
If you want authentic Sago't Gulaman and Buko Pandan that tastses just like how they make it back home, you must come here! They have all the filipino desserts, even taho and halo halo! I think everything you crave from back home, they will have. The owners are super nice and accommodating. My New favorite spot!
Boba shop with filipino food. Got the peach mango, and it is more tangy than sweet, more like how gong cha makes it than kung fu tea. That drink was $5.10. Sapin sapin is here, just a bit expensive at $9, but yay.
Boba has an incredible texture! I got Thai tea with dairy free milk. A little expensive but I think inflation is just hitting everything in general 😅 still amazing taste and flavor and I’d rather spend my money on something that tastes good like this tea.
I love everything about this shop. Literally everything. I didn't know what to order when I walked in and the gal that took my order was super helpful. I asked her what she recommended for a pretty drink and she told me the Okinawa Milk Tea! She was so right! It was super pretty but also super delicious! It tasted kind of like brown sugar milk tea and that's one of my favorite flavors. Their menu features so many interesting items that I can't wait to try! I can guarantee I'll be back for more because you just can't find customer service like what they offer there. Everyone was just so friendly and the atmosphere was great and the inside decor was super cute! I'm definitely going to try the Arroz Caldo and the Buko Pandan drink when I go back!
We LOVE TEA TOWN!!!! The owner is super sweet, and their popcorn chicken is amazing. Try the garlic Parmesan popcorn chicken with their house sauce. Paired with a boba milkshake with coconut cream on top. Heaven. I come here once a week. I would come here once a day if I could lol
Great boba and tea selection! I also tried their bao and it was some of the best I’ve ever had. Definitely recommend going and trying Tea Town! I’ll be back for sure, and I even grabbed their reward stamp card
Great place to take out some delicious tea drinks!! We had the Halo Halo milk shake and the pandan drink, so yummy!! The inside smelled a little greasy (not horrible) but it doesn’t really matter to me for taking out.

I’m definitely coming back. We had turon, leche flan latte, and buko pandan. The drinks were very good. I’ll keep coming back for their buko pandan!!! Their turon was nice. I want to try their cooked food, several folks bought their mami and other things, but we had to go. Next time :)
They are currently running a happy hour with BOGO free only on certain drinks, around 5pm to 6pm. I forgot to get the flyer, but they should have a small print out nearby the cashier and the cashier also promotes it. I like their halo halo and the tofu drink. They also have fresh baked items but they are ok, nothing special. The owner was very friendly and inviting. I wish there was more foot traffic for the whole plaza. It seems a bit dead.
Very friendly and helpful staff. I wasn't sure what I wanted but they had an honest opinion, which turned out to be right on the mark. Drinks, smoothies and Filipino street foods. Pandesal, Mamon, empanadas, Puto. We also got a waffle stuffed with ice cream, blueberries and whipped cream.
Tough to grade this. 4 stars for the drink but 5 stars for the ambience and service. I got the 12oz hot house milk tea. The worker was very nice and she warned me it was very milky and it was indeed. However, there is free wifi, clean restrooms, and ample comfortable places to study. Would def recommend to come study here, and I would come back, def at least to try some of their many snacks and also try other drinks :)
This place has many philipino desserts. I tried bubble tea. I asked 50% syrup with no added sugar. The sweetness was perfect with half syrup. I'm glad I didn't get the one with full syrup. The boba was too soft.

Visited this spot hoping for a taste of authentic Filipino beverages, but it didn't quite hit the mark. The drinks, while decent, lacked that genuine flavor I was looking for. Additionally, the prices seemed a bit steep for what was offered. It's an okay place if you're not looking for authenticity and don't mind paying a little extra.
I was disappointed since this is the first time I’ve had a bad drink from them. The boba was way overcooked. It disintegrated and ruined the drink. However, I did strain the boba and had the tea by itself and that is why I settled on a 3 star review.
Small, cozy Filipino-owned boba shop with some street food and yummy drinks. One of a few places around the area that serves Filipino drinks and deserts. We got a Thai Milk Tea and a Taro Milkshake. The milk tea is solid, but the boba texture we had was a bit over cooked. The milkshake was more milk flavor than taro flavor. Didn't get the chance to try the snacks or street food but i'm sure they're great also. Service was friendly and kind. Ambience was warm and relaxing!

Decided to come in for a quick dessert and I chose to get some of their pastries. I got two baked ube macapuno and one baked turon. I was highly disappointed. Kind of pricy at $3.25 per piece and the quality and quantity was not up to par. As pictured, the ube macapuno had little to no filling and the banana inside the baked turon was old and not appetizing at all.
Wasn’t impressed... It’s an oriental boba tea shop with some finger foods. They use filtered water. I hope the filter is good enough to get the chlorine and fluoride out. They blended up real fruit into the tea. The first time I went, they were sold out of fruit. I got a $5 Mango Strawberry Black tea without boba.
I ordered popcorn chicken and waited 30 minutes just to receive a measly amount. It’s not even popcorn chicken. It’s just fried shredded chicken. Not worth the wait or the price. What I received does not match the picture advertised or what people received before.
Beef Pares was ok. The portion doesn’t justify its $12+ price. The Pares’ tastes is not the Pares I remember The napkin we were given is one each, which is typical for a Filipino restaurant in the Philippines. Sago’t Gulaman and the Buko Pandan drinks were above average. I’d check out other Filipino restaurant in the area before paying for their $12+ Pares. The service was below standard. I ordered two Pares but the cook forgot to bring mine out. I had to remind the cashier for mine before the realized she needed to cook for one more. Granted she apologized but it was just me and my wife who ordered.

Every once in a while when I'm back in town, I usually look forward to getting drinks and a couple of small foods here because it's the only Filipino boba shop in town. As of my most recent trips coming back here, I've been really disappointed with the some of the drinks I've received. One of my favs before was getting the Leche Flan latte, but recently the taste has been consistently diluted, watered-down milk with very little leche flan in it that now I avoid it. My most recent trips coming back here, I was craving Taho. Every time I received it, there was hardly any syrup in it that it tasted nothing more than dry tofu. The sago in it was fine, but I was incredibly disappointed that as a Filipina, I kept wanting to give them multiple chances at trying the Taho since it's one of the only places that serve it, only to find disappointment every time. Some other drinks have been great, such as the buko pandan and pink gulaman, as well as their food, but if all the drinks as a whole aren't up to the same standard, it really limits the store as to what it can serve, especially on drinks that represent the Filipino culture. I will still be willing to come back here because at least some drinks and food make this place salvageable, but if the Taho is advertised one of the most popular selling points of this store and continues to be unflavored dry tofu with nonexistent syrup, I'll just go ahead and find another place to receive drinks and small foods from.
Taho was soaked in syrup. Was just too sweet to the point you can't eat it. They ran out of boba so they put tapioca and only told us that when the order was given to us. I know they didn't just find that out coz they did the same thing to the customer before us. The tapioca was not cooked properly. It was still hard in middle. This wasn't the first time they failed us. Always running out of stuff that's on the menu.
Took 10 minutes to make two drinks and it just tastes like water and sugar mixed together. The girls there are sweet but service was soo slow and there was no one even there in the store.
The streetfood platter was lackluster in taste especially for $7.32. The Street food platter contained Kikiam was disgusting. The lighter white-ish colored ball was not bad and the other other ball that looked mercury red wasn't very good. The Beef Pares was not tasty and actually left a very bad and weird flavor in my mouth. They don't give you that much for $14.65. I had to add my mother's delicious stew sauce over the whole meal that I was given to make the Beef Pares edible. I really don't know what thing they put it in to turn me off so badly to it. I ordered a Coconut Cream Thai milk tea for $6.98. This is one of the more disappointing orders of milk tea. The foam at the top was bland instead of delicious and creamy. Overall it was just ok and I didn't really get too much coconut from the taste of the drink.
I made a trip to go try this place called Tea Town this afternoon around 5 PM , first time ever & I was so disappointed to find out that all they have were flavored drinks , nothing else . The only consolation was the young lady@ the cashier was very sweet & pleasant, she informed me that they have more & better selections on the weekends , huh!! I will never go back to this place again & would not recommend this place to any of my friends .
Nice cashier, even when we requested for a refund (and Im sure she knew) as it tasted very spoiled. Both drinks was disgusting and could not get the taste out of our mouths. Definitely needs a revamp... positive reviews are mainly from 1+ years ago. Do NOT recommend at all
