La Bamba Mexican and Spanish Restaurant Plantation Reviews
Love this place, there's a reason why they have 6 different restaurant locations, plus they are family owned. Delicious food, great service, and we go two or three times a week for lunch. Delicious homemade chips and salsa, never had a bad meal here, delicious. They can get busy around 12 pm, arrive closer to 11 am to avoid the lunch crowd.
Our first time here. Chips and salsa amazing. I had the steak chimichanga a lot of food! Wife had fajitas spectacular as well. I might not eat for days! 😂 seriously authentic Mexican food with a wide variety of dishes totally worth it.
This was like Tex Mex. Their chori queso is yellow, not white so don’t be surprised by that. The hostesses and server were great. I got the steak fajitas. Flavor was good and portion was decent. It came with 4 flour tortillas.
First time visiting and was surely happy. When we walked in the hostess had 3 menus and silverware ready for us because she spotted us in the parking lot. We were seated and served with fresh salsa and chips within 30 seconds. Justin, our waiter was fast, friendly and attentive. The food was fast, hot, and fresh! Definitely visit La Bamba for some great Mexican food.
We have been going to La Bamba for years. 👍 This location has a lively atmosphere with excellent service 💯. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes. The Mexican food is authentic with large portions that we always enjoy 😋. Will be back again soon
I was craving steak and grilled onions with refried beans and rice. I did a Google search and saw pics of what I wanted on this place's Google page. We got there and immediately had chips and salsa delivered to our table. Salsa is made in house and also have spicy version which was amazing. Our server was in training as she was shadowed. She did great. Food came out pretty fast and how we ordered it. We will definitely be back.
I’ve always been a fan of this restaurant 🌮. There’s plenty of space for big groups, which makes it a go-to spot for family dinners or birthday celebrations with friends. The food is fantastic and arrives in reasonable time, making every meal a delight. Plus, the prices are just right - not too expensive at all. And if you’re a pet parent, you’ll love the dog-friendly outdoor seating. 🐕🦺
5/5 stars – each star for customer care, product quality, atmosphere, speed, and value. I visited La Bamba Mexican and Spanish Restaurant and was impressed with the friendly service of our bartender, Davon (name might be spelled wrong :-/). The staff greeted us promptly, refilled our drinks, and made sure our order was correct. The tacos and guacamole were fresh, the fajitas were flavorful, and the margaritas were perfectly balanced. The happy hour atmosphere was relaxed and the chips and salsa were a great start. Overall the service was the highlight of my visit and I’ll definitely be back for more.
This restaurant is on my regular rotation of local restaurants. I'm quite surprised I haven't ever left a review considering I have probably been here at least a dozen times. Noel was our server today; he was also our server on our previous trip and he very professional and attentive. I was quite happy to have him as our server today. The chips were fresh and the salsa was perfect as usual. I was able to try 3 different margaritas while I was there and I will say that they were all awesome. The entrees arrived in a timely manner and everything was amazing. I love there Beef chunks, I would highly recommend it. I'll post some of the photos and I look forward to a future visit in a few months. I think happy hour is Monday and Tuesday for anyone looking for half off the house margaritas, but call them to double check... I hope you enjoy this restaurant as much a do...
This place was delicious! Second time coming here and I do not have anything bad to say about this place. My party and I were seated right away and we got the chips and salsa. I recommend the spicy salsa as the regular salsa was too watery. For my entry, I decided to get a steak quesadilla. Food was hot and tasted great! I had a great time.
If you love food and are looking for a nice, quiet place to enjoy with the family or night out with friends, La Bamba Mexican restaurant is the place for you. There's a whole lot more than meets the eye, I didn't get a chance to take as many photos here, got distracted...the food was absolutely amazing! The service was fast and our waitress truly awesome! I am delighted with this restaurant and will visit again. Try it you will love it!
Came for dinner. Parking is limited. . The wifes combination fatias of chicken and steak was very good The beef was good. The chicken was tender and flavorful. The steak burrito was excellent and stuffed with tender steak. The refried beans were excellent. Our server was outstanding. Overall, it was a good dinner. It's much better than the last visit.
This was an order delivered with Uber. All was great. LaBamba app made it so easy to get the food I enjoy.
We go here often. Not my favorite Mexican food but pretty good.
Definitely worth it. Sat at the bar. Great margaritas 🍹 by the way.😁 Fish tacos come with refried beans and yellow rice delicious 😋. Friend had the pork chunks with sweet plantains yummy. Hefty servings. Everything was excellent! Come have a drink at the bar and have dinner... nice atmosphere. 👍🏽*Plantation location.
Best Mexican restaurant hands down. I've tried others to compare and still can't find one as good as La Bamba. From start to finish. Chips and salsas, steak fajitas comes sizzling and the service is a 10. Very clean location. I definitely recommend it.
Love the food. Low prices very quick service. Multiple locations.
Always get a good meal with excellent service. I appreciate the fact they are so accommodating to dietary needs.
I used to live near by and this is my favorite Mexican Restaurant. I no longer live in South Florida but I still stop by when in town on business. Their Steak Fajitas are the best I have ever had. I also love their Chicken Chimichanga. You cannot go wrong eating here.
Great food, fun, lively and dynamic atmosphere. Friendly staff. Everything is delicious on that menu and fresh. Generous portions too. They are always so busy, so you know it's good. Don't be put off if you want more than one basket of chips and salsa, because they do charge a few bucks extra. But it is worth it. Great drinks and desserts too. The staff really do hustle there, so remember to be generous with your tips. Extra parking in the lot next door.
Food is always great. Order arrived right on time and food was nice and warm.
I honestly can't believe I'm just now getting around to writing a review of this place. La Bamba has been our family's go-to numero uno favorite restaurant for 15+ years. Their menu boasts a huge assortment of both Mexican and Spanish dishes. Portions are plentiful and reasonably priced. Our absolute favorites are the Chicken Fajitas and their Pollo ala Plancha. The servers are all so friendly and accommodating to whatever our requests are, even if we want to split a dish. Now that our kids are older and out of the house, whenever they come home to visit, La Bamba is always tops on their list. You can visit any of their six family-owned locations in: Delray, Margate, S. Ft. Lauderdale, N. Ft. Lauderdale, N. Palm Beach and Plantation. The largest seats 234 people. One brother works in the kitchen and one sibling in the dining room of each of their locations. Check them out- you can 100% count on great food, in a fun family atmosphere.
Are there tonight with 9 adults and two children. Alexandra was our server and did an excellent job in getting our drinks and orders perfect. Other staff was great also in getting us chips and salsa. Food was very good and serving sizes were large, so we had to take some home. Overall Alexandra made the experience well worth it.
Food was amazing and the staff was very attentive and helpful.
The food is absolutely delicious! Healthy, tropical and Latino culture; left and right. I've ordered a chimichanga with chunk beefs and tried the house Margaritas. The flavor was amazing: soft creamy, fresh, and healthy. I highly recommend eating here. The environment is social; a lot of people but the vibe is positive, friendly and relaxing.
Mexican and Spanish restaurant. Bit inside shopping strip mall. Stretched place with nice decor and cool ambiance. The greeter shown us the way to booth and made us seated right away. The service person Ms. Julie promptly show up to take the order. She listened to our questions and requests properly and patiently. Appreciate receiving information about various meats like beef, pork and so forth in dishes as well as after learning we cannot eat those she herself clarified that black beans and yellow beans do not have beef or pork broth as base. Also for cheese dip she pointed out addition of pork and asked to choose option as gucomole. Really liked her attention to details. Thank you Ms. Julue who waited at our table. Ordered pollo Sonora. Excellent well cooked juicy chicken with black beans and yellow rice. Nice dinner. Great experience. Professional courteous service. Enjoyed it thoroughly and would repeat. Definitly recommended.
went with a large group and this restaurant was PREPARED! typically with large parties you can expect a decline in quality of service and atmosphere but this was not the case at all. the staff was extremely efficient and prepared to cater to everyone and all the food came out hot at the same time. i personally ordered the combo (chicken + steak) fajitas and they were excellent !
Carry out service is always prompt and accurate. The kitchen excels in consistent and authentic flavors with a wide variety of options on the menu!!! Will definitely return.
Great food, fast service, great servers. My go to place for Mexican food. Reasonably priced
Love love this place. They always treat me right! Thanks Kelly for being so attentive and bright! La bamba will always have my business, they treat me like family.
Went on a Saturday night with my husband. Very busy night. S lot of people waiting, but the wait time wasn't that bad 20-30min. However, we asked if we could sit at the bar, and they said yes. Bar or hightops available. Not sure why no one was sitting there. There are PLENTY of hightop tables by the bar (4 top, 6 top) and bar area. Plenty of seating. We went RIGHT in with NO wait, and were served and eating within no time! Food was great! My husband got the Ropa Vieja, and I got the Lechaon asado dinner. Sooo good! Plenty of food. We brought left overs home and threw them together with some eggs! Delicious! Service was great. Friendly staff. Margheritas were great too!! And how could I forget the chips and salsa! Good pricing for great service and great food!
If I could give this restaurant 1000000+ stars, I would. La bamba is a regular place that my family and I have been going to since I was born.. for reference, I’m in my 20s now. You’ll never find better chips or salsa, their steak and chicken fajita is to die for. Their flan and other desserts are out of this world. Their refried beans and rice is amazing too. If La Bamba has no fans, I am no longer on earth. 🫶🫶 Thank you La bamba for being a part of my life. 😭
Very enjoyable place to get fajitas. Have had their steak and chicken fajitas. And it's very yummy. And the service is quite on top notch.
La Bamba is our favorite restaurant. Tonight did not disappoint. Alexandra was the best and we even tried something new!! Ask for her when you go!!!
This is our go to, the ace in a hole when we can’t decide on somewhere to eat. The food is always good, the wait is never terrible and the service is always on point.
This place is AMAZING, food is always good, staff always friendly and helpful. When i order pick up, never have any issues order is always perfect.
My wife and I have eaten here at least 30 times over the years, and we have never been disappointed. The food, service and drinks are always excellent. We live in Miami and don't get to visit as often as we'd like, but are always happy when we take the time to drive up and have dinner.
I have been going to la bamba for longer than i care to contemplate. I actually ate there on the evening of y2k. And actually a lot longer than that. They are wonderful. They are no longer cheap but they are still very much worth it. Im no expert on the restaurant business. I often joke that the only thing I know about restaurants is how to eat at them. But the most amazing part about la bamba is the consistency. In 40 years and at least 100 visits I have had exactly one sub par experience. Which they quickly remedied. That is the hardest part of the restaurant business: consistency. They are incredibly and deliciously consistent. And the same could be said of their service. Again, I can think of only one occasion where I received sub par service. They are always friendly, always kind and always attentive without being obtrusive. Honestly, they are so close to perfect that it is practically a miracle. I know this reads like a commercial. But its the truth. I was there today. I and my friend both found ourselves watching what other people were ordering. It all looked picture perfect and delicious. Seriously, these people should write a book. Or consult for other restaurants. They really are that good .
I've been going to this restaurant for almost 25 years and have never had any problems. The food is always good. The service has always been great. The overall vibe and cleanliness has always been super good too. I take friends and family here too. I'm really surprised this place doesn't have a 5.0 because this is one of our favorite go to places.
Love this place!!I have been eating at La Bamba since my oldest son was three. He’s now 21. My favorite dish is a shrimp scampi with rice and beans and plantains. It’s amazing!!! The menu has a variety of Spanish dishes and Mexican so you can pick and choose what you like and I love how they always bring out the fresh chips with the salsa, hot or mild.
I LOVE this restaurant. I am not from this area, but Whenever my family and I have a chance we come here. It's a delicious place. It can get very crowded and sometimes takes a little wait for your food, but its worthy.
I picked up my order to go which I usually don’t like because there’s always a problem. However, there was no problem with takeout from La Bamba. Everything was in the bag and packaged properly. It was great.
Been coming here for almost twenty years, and I have never had a bad experience. They've recently renovated but it's still as good as before. I recommend the carnitas, but nothing on the menu will disappoint.
It was 10 dinners to go so no service. But….a girl called to check on what I had ordered because she felt we had forgotten to add it. I was very happy and did. She really went above and beyond with just wanting to get it right. In a world where people just don’t care she stood out. I told everyone at the party what she did. Very grateful and I hope the world doesn’t change her desire to do what’s right. Thank you for a memorable night. Janice
Visiting town and saw this restaurant recommended. Our server was kind and the food was absolutely delicious—well seasoned and balanced. It was worth traveling a little bit to eat this high quality food!
Surprised !!! We hadn’t been to a La Bamba in years. Last night our good friend took us out to the one in Platation. We were immediately impressed by how colorful pretty and clean the place was. Marcella our waitress was more than accommodating- she was knowledgeable and very helpful in us selecting our meals which turned out to be very special. Shrimp enchiladas arrived piping hot and enough for two people to share. and the guacamole was so delicious as well!! We’re looking forward to our next visit soon. Make sure and ask for Marcella.
La bamba!! My very dear and near place. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant, I come here multiple times a week and I’m always treated like family. I always bring new clients and my family here to enjoy ourselves. Shout out to the bar, Dhaven, Jeff and Kelly and my favorite manager Ronny who always makes it happen.
Always a consistent meal. Food is prepared well and served hot. Staff is friendly and around when you need them. The restaurant was recently redone and is quite colorful, clean and spacious.
The fat kid in me ordered the steak, chicken, and shrimp fajitas and was not disappointed. Most the time I'm not a big fan of the veggies in fajitas. But the oinions and red bell peppers were grilled to perfection and bathed in flavor whose only draw back is that you've got to wait for the sizzle of the skillet to cool before cramming them all in your mouth. Also, the strawberry margarita was elite!
This restaurant never disappoints! The food is always so good. We’ve had quite a few items on the menu and they have all been excellent.
We went there to celebrate our good friend's 89th birthday and La Bamba didn't disappoint. The food was good and largely portioned. We all had enough left over for another meal. While our server was pretty good, there were a few hiccups and not all of our food were brought at the same time.
Great food, great value lunch menu until 2:30 PM. Large portions. Chips & salsa are made fresh. Waiter yesterday was very attentive. He earned an extra tip.
5/5 stars – excellent service, flavorful food, vibrant atmosphere, beautiful decor, great value. We loved the lively atmosphere at La Bamba Mexican restaurant. The staff was absolutely amazing! Alexandra treated us like family. The food was amazing – the chicken tacos and pollo ala plancha were perfectly seasoned. The staff were friendly and attentive, refilling drinks quickly and offering helpful suggestions. The chips and salsa were the perfect starter. Overall a wonderful experience that we will definitely return to.
If you’re looking for top-tier service and amazing food and drinks, La Bamba is hands down one of the best places I’ve ever been to. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is welcoming and the quality is unmatched. The margaritas are always on point perfectly balanced, fresh, and consistently delicious every single time. What really makes this place stand out is the staff. The bartenders are absolutely incredible and go above and beyond for every guest, making you feel like a priority even when it’s busy. They’re friendly, attentive, and extremely accommodating when taking orders, always making sure everything is just right. Huge shoutout to Jeffrey, Rebecca, and Carlos they truly made the experience unforgettable with their amazing service and positive energy. Between the high-quality food, outstanding service, and great atmosphere, this has quickly become one of my favorite spots. If you’re in Sunrise and want great vibes, phenomenal margaritas, and service that truly stands out, La Bamba is the place to go!
A big shout out to Ronnie at La Bamba for turning a frustrating situation to a really pleasant one. We ordered take out through the app on Super Bowl Sunday, only to drive to the restaurant and find it closed. My review was not kind, so they reached out to me to make it right by offering $20 off my next order and of course they refunded my money for the original order. I decided to use my offer tonight, but when I went to pick up, Ronnie (one of the managers) said it was completely on the house. They apologized for their part in not deactivating the ordering system on Sunday, and said they value all of their loyal customers and wanted to make it right. Great customer service! And one other thing to show you how much they care. My order was scheduled for 4:45 pickup, but I got a text at 4:25 that it was ready. I called the restaurant and said I didn't want it sitting out for 20 minutes because it would be cold. The other manager assured me that they would redo the entire order and it would be ready at 4:45 as requested. And it was just coming out of the kitchen when I arrived, hot and freshly remade. Now that's how you do it, and why we've been going there for over 25 years! Kudos to La Bamba!! Thank you!! BTW, the pork was so incredibly tender and full of flavor!
5/5 stars – each star for customer care, food quality, atmosphere, speed, and value. I always enjoy the warm welcome and quick service at La Bamba Mexican and Spanish Restaurant. The tacos are flavorful, the fajitas are perfectly cooked, and the guacamole is fresh. We love their happy hour margaritas and the relaxed vibe. Definitely a favorite spot for Mexican take out and a great place to relax with friends. Kelly is great.
Always a great experience when we visit this location in Plantation. Great service no matter how busy it is. Excellent food quality and value portions are really impressive. Definitely will be back. Today was my first time ordering on line and excellent experience.
I am now in st. Pete, it's been over 20 years. How I miss this restaurant. Owner Manuel and Rosenbelt are great host, the fresh salsa is amazing. The food portions are generous and delish.
My family, friends, colleagues and I been dining at LaBamba in plantation for over 25 years. I also plan large gatherings there and La Bamba is very accommodating. I was one of their first customers and I have never had a bad meal there. Quality is consistent and very good. I noticed a change in the rice but overall all meals and drinks are consistent and very good. I’m very picky with restaurant choices. La Bamba is one of my choices for large , small and family groups and decent quality in this current world of deflation .
Kelly is simply the bests. I have been dining at La Bamba since I moved to South Florida in 1998!! It is a staple in the community and has never disappointed. In the 28 years that I dined at the various locations I have always had good service however as of the last two years since Kelly was my server I look forward to going on “Kelly” days. I love her personality and how attentive she always is, even to a “regular” like myself.
The flavors at La Bamba Mexican and Spanish Restaurant are amazing. The chimichanga was juicy and yummy The friendly service that DANIELA provided and lively atmosphere make it a great spot, and the happy hour margaritas are a nice bonus. I’ll definitely come back.
Firstly, there was leftover food on my fork. Outside of that, I can’t speak to the authenticity because I’m no expert on Mexican cuisine. But I was pleasantly surprised at the taste of the food. I had the Costillas de Puerco and wasn’t expecting the meal to be as tasty as it was; the pork was tender and seasoned just right, the rice was good and the plantains weren’t too thick or too ripe. I tasted my date’s meal which was pretty decent. The server did a good job, the aesthetics are extremely boring and dated, but based on the meal I had - I would recommend.
Cool place. Been coming here since I could walk. Food has pretty much stayed quality since 04. Love the Re-Design, and had a good time tonight, although my mother’s carnitas came out cold. My server was swift to correct. Which brings me to a 4 star. Thanks guys! Can’t wait to come back.
Upon entering La Bamba Mexican Restaurant in Plantation, I was instantly transported back to the early 90s. The atmosphere, while nostalgic, felt a bit congested and overly colorful. A more open space with toned-down hues could enhance the dining experience. The restaurant was bustling with customers on a Tuesday night, which initially raised my concerns about the quality of the food. However, these worries were quickly dispelled. The meal was a pleasant surprise - it may not have been the best Mexican cuisine I've ever tasted, but it was undeniably fresh and flavorful. A highlight of our visit was the service. Our server was exceptionally helpful and attentive, a remarkable feat considering the crowded setting. She frequently checked in on us, ensuring our dining experience was smooth. In summary, La Bamba provides a good dining experience with its fresh, flavorful food and excellent service. While the ambiance could use some updating, the overall experience merits a thumbs up. I'm looking forward to returning and trying more of their dishes.
I had the burrito with meat and it was absolutely delicious! The portions were generous and satisfying, and the food came out quickly with no wait time at all. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and efficient. Like most places these days, prices have gone up a bit, but that’s to be expected. Overall, a great experience and I’ll definitely be back!
No problems with the food.Tasty, good portions. pick up was a problem however. ordered to pick up at 7.45. got a text saying ready at 7.59. got another text at 7.29 saying order was ready. had to rush over. thankfully we live close by so themselves were still hot.
Ah! Never been to this location! Always exciting seeing if each location tastes the same! Of course I got the house margarita on the rocks no salt! Good/Strong! Yum! Started with the super nachos which comes with 8 pieces. Refried beans Cheese Sour Cream Guacamole Lettuce and Jalapenos. I love them! For dinner the two with me got the pollo ala plancha which was good as always! I got the chicken fajitas cooked extra well, and they actually listened to my request! So good! Food is good! Drinks are good! Only complaint I have is I told the front it was my boyfriends birthday if they could do the singing with fried ice cream. They said they would tell the waiter. I am guessing it never got communicated because we got the bill once everything was packed up. So, we didn't get the singing or ice cream. It was already late, so we decided to just pay and leave.... so sad :( Was looking forward to the fried ice cream which is sooo yummy! Either way I love La Bamba!
Muy buena la atención muy buena la comida las fajitas súper detalle único es que vimos que a todos de entrada les ofrecían nachos y a nosotros ni nos preguntaron pero en general todo muy bien
15 minutes wait for the tablet. Once at the table they took probabily another 15 minutes to offer drinks. They serve you tortillas and salsa as cortesy. We choose 2 margaritas ( house and passion fruit), a mushroom and bacon quesadilla and a enchilada. The food was good but I was so disappointed because usually mexican/ spanish food do work with fresh products/ produce and mine the had canned mushrooms. A huge no no for my dish. The drinks, horrible. Not worth it, not their forte. Watery, passion fruit Juice out of a can...just do not get excited for drinks there. Has been years I do not go to Lá Bamba and was sad to see how it turned.
Great service! Great attitude from all the staff. Great chips and guacamole Mole (which I was happy to see in the Menu) doesn’t really resemble anything from Puebla, Oaxaca or anywhere in Mexico. It was an ok flavor, but I expected something different. Tacos are not bad, but are not supposed to be served with rice and beans. Flavor is not bad in general, but not the flavor you are looking for from a place that claims to be “mexican and spanish”.
We went on a rainy nite last wk after about 1 yr. Had fajitas & my BF had a quesadilla. Portions are large. It was a little salty. Overall the drinks are very good, atmosphere nice, and the service is always excellent.
I love love love the location in ft lauderdale on NUS1 but this location was NOT the same. While we were seated promptly, it seemed like the servers were very overwhelmed and it took awhile to get our food. when we did we immediately requested additional lime and refired beans, both of which came when the server was clearing our plates. I always order the same thing, but this location's chimichanga was soggy, not crunchy and the filling was dry dry dry. Flavorless. The fajitas my partner got had barely any protein and what was there was severly overcooked and almost inedible. We alerted a server (not our server, since he never showed up again) but we told someone and they said theyd get us a manager, who also never showd up. Overall a poor experience and we'll continue to patronize the FLL location.
Sad reality they are not consistent with the food the first time all good as you can see in the photos. Today July 11 at 9:45 pm. I picked up my takeout when I got home I found that they gave me the wrong order instead of fried plantain they gave me ripe banana but, there is no problem that usually happens. I called and the girl told me to go pick up the fried plantain. I went to pick it up and when he showed them to me they were burned. I told him and he returned them when I waited for the others and I got home the fried plantain were horrible greasy and soft. Obviously I gave up already and threw them into the trash can. How disappointing and waste of time that I change them several times and they give you worse. In case you want to see the photos of the fried plantain are below.
I hardly ever leave reviews of restaurants. The food was not good at all. Barely ate it . The cheese dip taste like they just poured some Tostitos cheese dip into a bowl except worse. Tacos tasted like Taco Bell except worse and came sitting in a pool of grease on the plate. Margaritas were ok. Left most the food on the table didn't want to take it to go. Seems like a place that Is just imitating authentic Mexican food and not even doing a good job at it. Again food was really bad . Won't be back . Server was nice.
I don’t understand how tihis restaurant has great reviews. Food is not good at all, taste like cafeteria basic food, nothing special. I went a couple times with my husband, and I don’t want to go back. Service is ok.
Service was lacking. Xavier who was our server seemed quiet and maybe needed more training. When we first sat, our server started walking to our table and immediately turned back around. One way I test service is with timing the refill of a water/ soda and my water took 11 minutes and 32 seconds to be refilled. It felt like because we were a group of four teenagers, we weren’t worth his time (even though we spent $80 on Margaritas). While I didn’t drink as I was the designated driver, my company complained about the shrinkflation of the glasses for the margaritas. In an attempt of solving the shrinkflation issue, the second round of Margaritas were ordered without ice. We then received margaritas with even smaller glasses confirming our suspicions. The renovated side of the restaurant shows a glaring juxtaposition between dated decor and a fresh remodel. I look forward to the response from the restaurant asking me to email them. I don’t want to email you about my experience, just do better. If needed, raise prices to bring quality back to La Bamba’s.
Make sure to check your bills. Cashiers decided to add their own tip to a take out order. Sketchy.
We have been loyal fans for 20 years. We love it. Tonight was the first time they served us half a portion. Unexpected indeed! There's more. We ordered 2 salsas. one hot, one mild. But both were mild. Something's up. Sounds ridiculous, but it ruined our whole experience.
The service was arragant and lazy. Out mageritas were un drinkable as the bartender put to a whole sliced jalapeño pepper in the drinks. Burned lips the dishes were cold and reheated frozen aentrees. Don't go they need to fire all employees and start over.
Our family has gone to La Bamba since the beginnings. Over the past few years the food has been hit or miss. They are always getting more expensive, plus charging extra money for chips and salsa for pick up orders is insane when they give the chips and salsa when you sit down. We won’t be going back because the past three times they gave small amounts of steak with the fajitas. Last night’s order the chicken fajitas was over cooked and chewy which is totally unacceptable. I feel they replaced quality with quantity and I’m sick of it.
