First time here, hidden gem for sure just 2 min from work and have never been to this place and wont be my last, had me the steak small sandwich and it was to die for the seasoning on that steak, the grilled onions, the garlic was just so good, I have recommended this place to all my co-workers from Invitation Homes, the owner/staff felt like I knew them very friendly, wish i can give a 10 star.

This place is awesome. I've been going here for almost a year now. The food is outstanding and I love it so much. Specially the cheese fries. I really hate going all the way to the beach just to get cheese fries when I can finally get it right around the corner. Very nice community. Everyone is friendly. I wish I could understand why so many people would say this is a bad place and give them one star. This place is amazing. They try their best to provide the best service they can. Every time I go in there I see then working very hard. It's better than going somewhere waiting for someone to take your order over a hour.

Best steak and cheese in South Florida. I have been looking for a great steak and cheese for two years and I finally found the place. Needed a pinch of salt but hot and amazing. Be prepared to wait 10 minutes for you food because they make it fresh.

Glad I found this place. It's definitely a hidden prize. Their cheesesteaks are outstanding. been slowly working through the menu trying different things and I've yet to try a sub from there I didn't like. I'm eating a meatball sub right now and it's delicious. A lot of places say their meatballs are home made but you can tell these are. You can taste the garlic and herbs in every bite. Only wish I'd asked for some extra marinara because it's almost as good as my home made sauce (OK maybe AS good). Their french fries are also on point...perfectly golden and crispy on the outside and nice, tender in the middle and seasoned just right. If you're hungry but don't know what you have a taste for, check out Mac Daddy's, You'll definitely find something on the menu to suit you.

I am a Publix sub kind of gal until I tried the sub from MacDaddy in Plantation. Honestly, I only tried it because I had a coupon. I am extremely happy that I did. It is 5 times better than Publix subs. From the moment I walked in to the shop I got greeted with a smile and the 2 people that were there working were so nice. Lately, I have been noticing more and more places make there client feel like they are bothering them but not this place. They were so sweet and friendly. The bread was fresh and soft, the meat was cut right in front of me and the sub was amazing.

Very relaxed & welcoming environment- first time here, and it felt like I drove to my Gramma's house for a bite to eat. And the food O M G absolutely delicious!!!! If you're reading this, get a Philly cheese steak, and load it up with onions, peppers and pepper jack cheese. I promise, you won't be disappointed!!

Excellent sub shop in Plantation. The quality of their meats is fantastic because they use Boar's Head and the service is amazing. Definitely recommended and there's lots of parking out front that's free.

AHHHHMMAAAZING FOOD!! Fast, friendly and most importantly fresh!! I had the buffalo grilled chicken wrap and OMG I cant stress enough how amazing it tasted. It was soo fresh and juicy! If I could give it a 10, I would! Definitely recommend this restaurant!

Great staff and delicious food. I wasn’t really paying attention on what I ordered. Cook came out to ask if I really wanted that. Glad she did because that would have been weird. Delicious and moist without being greasy.

Tried this place for the first time today. I got the philly cheesesteak and my son got the Cuban. Both were delicious but I personally preferred the philly. Staff were friendly. Overall we will be back. Good quality.

The boys and I were looking for a new sandwich shop to try out. It was a dark and gloomy day, just another one in a sea of long days where we work. That’s when we decided to try out Mack Daddy. It looked like a typical place I tend to enjoy; informal, atmospherically chill, good vibes, and run by a family of hustlers. I ordered the Cuban Croqueta sandwich, and my oh my, was that an experience. I normally don’t like to Snapchat my food (I mean, how basic am I?), but I just had to with this sandwich. I immediately got dozens responses from people asking what heavenly place I had discovered, along with several other selfies of clearly shaken faces. Indeed, one bite in, and I felt the urge to spread the Gospel of Mack Daddy. Do yourself a favor and head to this spot. Maybe it’ll make you forget about the office for a second or two.

I was so impressed by MacDaddy's sub shop! The service was excellent, the place was clean and I had the most delicious Philly cheesesteak. It was full of flavor and affordable. No doubt I will be coming to this place again! Dope Sub shop and I loved the customer service.

Un tesoro escondido en Plantation. Era solo nuestra primera vez aquí, pero definitivamente no será la última. Usan carne de jabalí, tienen muchísimas opciones en su menú, el personal es muy amable y la comida estaba deliciosa. Mi esposo pidió el sándwich italiano y yo el wrap de pollo Buffalo. Ambos estaban riquísimos. Estaban un poco llenos para el almuerzo, pero ¿qué se puede esperar de un delicioso sándwich por la tarde?

Este lugar es increíble. Llevo yendo casi un año. La comida es excepcional y me encanta. Sobre todo las papas fritas con queso. Odio ir hasta la playa solo para conseguir papas fritas con queso cuando por fin las consigo a la vuelta de la esquina. Es una comunidad muy agradable. Todos son amables. Ojalá pudiera entender por qué tanta gente dice que este es un mal lugar y le da una estrella. Este lugar es increíble. Se esfuerzan al máximo para brindar el mejor servicio posible. Cada vez que voy, los veo trabajando muy duro. Es mejor que esperar más de una hora a que alguien tome tu pedido.

We had various M&Cs and they were excellent as was the curried cauliflower. Also, great service. They also have non M&C dishes but I am sure when I would ever get to them! 1 table and a counter so plan accordingly.

The food was OK. They do offer a lot of different combinations. Would of gave it 4 stars but the young kid working at the counter was annoying.

I had high expectations after reading so many great reviews, but have been let down. It's a cute restaurant and the menu looked pretty good. I ordered a "Mac daddy" Caprese chicken sandwich for 9.50$ and expected a huge sub for this price. Out came a what looked like a decent size sub but there was only 2 chicken tenders in the sub and not much cheese at all. There was more bread than anything which honestly wasn't that good. I would have felt okay paying 6$ for it. The fries were okay, nothing special. I thought the service was pretty good and the owners seemed like they cared. Will give it a second shot because of how close it is. But I would much rather get a Pubix or Firehouse sub.

I ordered an Italian and substituted the ham for Turkey... the Turkey was sooooo dry, the capicola was not very good abcs neither was the salami! All in all worst Italian sub ive ever had!

I was looking for a good sub place I can't say I will ever trust the reviews off google again. I made a order for there cheese steak and in Italian sub. I have had many amazing cheese steaks it my all time favorite sandwich. I usually order them from Mr nicks in Fort Lauderdale I'm always never disappointed with a sub from there or Publix I have to say this sandwich has less meat than Publix for $9.50 on top of that Publix for the exact same price you get more meat and cheese. And for my second sandwich I asked for an Italian and I got a tuna thank God I didn't eat it because I'm highly allergic to mayo and I asked for an Italian I asked the lady to make sure over the phone I would I ordered she repeated back to me so I don't know what happened to my order.

Was told the grill was too busy couldn't make a tuna melt at 2 in the afternoon

I had the absolute worst experience with this place EVER!!! I went to this location today (10-15-15) to meet my fiancé for lunch. We walked in & it was about 95 degrees inside of restaurant because the air was broken! We sat there for about 20 minutes in the hot sweaty environment. The mean lady which is the owner's daughter at the counter told me when I asked how much longer it would be, that our subs were coming off the grill so we waited a little longer until I noticed there was no food on the grill 10 min. later & the mean lady at the counter said that our subs were being put on now! I said you told me 10 min ago that they were coming off the grill, she said you had these people ahead of you pointing at 3 other customers with a VERY rude attitude so I went to get my fiancé (who was in his truck b/c of the a/c b/c it was too hot in Mac Daddy's), my fiancé came inside told the rude lady we wanted a refund & she proceeded to give us a refund & looked at me with a smirk on her face because I was upset naturally & I asked her, why would you lie & tell us that our food was almost finished & it wasn't even cooking for 40 min., she replied with an attitude & turned her back to me & handed my fiancé his money & looked at me as to piss me off, which btw worked. I turned & said something to her & that's when she told me Get out like a raging animal & escorted me out of the restaurant, this place is Horrible!!! Our lunch was ruined, my fiancé & I both had to go back to work hungry b/c this situation took up our entire lunch hour! I will NEVER go here again & I hope others don't either!
