It's a great place to order to get food to go for sure. This is literally one of the only few restaurants I know that makes Hong Kong Chinese Noodles. No other place makes that so it's special the house fried rice is really good too. Me and My Mom had lunch there and both enjoyed our lunch meal. The food here is delicious. What are my favorite spots for Chinese takeout.

I really like this place. Lunch combo is a goo deal and it's always made to order....I pick up food there all the time. Unlike other Asian restaurants the people are nice to American people. They don't treat us like we are beneath them....very nice

Loved this place. Real chicken instead of the processed crap most takeout places use. Everything was good. The only thing that sucked, is the first time I tried this place was right before I moved out of the area.

Really good food. The hot and sour soup is nicely balanced, nearly perfect! The lady at the counter is a delight.

Food is good, people are friendly, great little place. You don't have to take my word for it, just sit outside and watch the happy customers flow in and out of the place.

The reviews are mixed but I decided to try for myself... and came back. The food here is actually much better than most Chinese take out!

Best Chinese food in the area if you want another option other than pei wei. Just be prepared to spend a hefty amount, but for the high price the quality of food matches.

Best Chinese food I’ve had in the Plantation area. Great portions for the money and everything is delicious!!!

SIMPLY AMAZING!!! I've missed out for years and didn't know. I live close by and order Chinese at least once per week but only from here in the past month. Every single dish so far has been AMAZING. Mongolian Beef is great, Sesame Chicken to die for, Chicken in Black bean on point. Prices are very reasonable in comparison to other options nearby. GIVE IT A TRY, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!! 5 Stars all day every day.

Mary Weigly

We've tried all the nearby Chinese restaurants for take out and this is the best. With others, something is always lacking, like the entree and rice are great, but the soup is tasteless. Mandarin Village consistently checks all the boxes. Their food is hot, tasty, and the portions are very generous.

C
Carlos Rocuant

Some of the BEST Chinese food you can get! The fried rice is the richest and most satisfying taste, not to mention the great taste of the egg rolls! Would 1000% order again from here and would recommend to anyone who enjoys Chinese food to order from Mandarin Village! You won’t regret it!

I love Mandarin Village. I have been going there for years. The food is always fresh, tasty and hot. The portions are so generous I usually get 2 meals even out of their lunch combo's. They will also make changes to accommodate your taste and preferences. Most Chinese restaurants are NOT flexible at all. I will be back soon!

I’ve been meaning to review this place for a while bc I order from here like once a week. Definitely the best Chinese food near me. The chicken fried rice has like these little fried pieces of chicken in it—to die for. Delivery is always super quick too. They delivery to me so often the guy knows exactly what unit I’m in. Thanks for the quality food and service guys.

Offering contact free delivery and pick up. I feel extremely safe ordering from them with everything going on right now. They wipe down everything with disinfectant after each use. And offer hand sanitizer to each customer. Will definitely be ordering from them again!!!!

Visiting from NJ and was looking for a good take out Chinese spot. Recommend this spot. Friendly service, clean restaurant, and most important delicious and fresh food.

H
Henry Guy

Very friendly, fast and high quality fresh food. A bit more than other similar food but it was worth it! Also they give ton of extra sauce, no need to ask for anything. Even the food packaging was higher quality and we can likely reuse several times. If on the fence definitely order from here. A couple dinners go a long way, 4 person meal.

Let me just start out by saying this place is like family to myself. From my first visit when they had the restaurant in the fountains back in 1997 I was in love with this place. Being from NY I know Chinese food and every good spot in NY and I can tell you hands down this is the best place in Florida and there ain't even a close second. I use to take my employees there every day and we had our own table in the back of the restaurant when they where in the fountains. The new take out location is perfect and I still remember the day I saw the sign when they reopened after being bought out to close their fountain location all I can say is I almost crashed my car from joy. I immediately pulled in and saw my buddy Nelson and went there daily during the construction until I was proud to say I had the first batch when they opened. My 4 must have and favorites are Mongolian chicken all white meet Mongolian Beef the best and the Pork and Vhef Sauce off the charts. Last but not least Chicken and Cashew it is dark meat and I don't even eat dark me as t though it might be there best dish hands down!!!! Please do yourself a favor and visit and tell them Lee sent you they will know who sent you there their biggest Fan!!!! Thank you so much for coming back now we need to open a location out east together!!!! Lee

Just moved to the area and ended up at Mandarin Village this past Tuesday night. I was extremely pleased with the food and experience and it was easy to figure out. Tons of locals and repeat customers through the door while I was there waiting to pick my order up. Tons of rapport between guests and staff and it was obvious folks had been coming back for months or even years. The food was excellent and great portions too. Will certainly return

Ordered the Singapore Noodles with Chicken. The girl taking my order was efficient and friendly. I informed her I was allergic to shellfish, I was assured my meal would be good. The delivery was extremely fast, the guy making the delivery was friendly too. The best part of my experience was the meal. It was simply delicious. Thanks

Food was very good. The lady at front counter made suggestions. Very nice lady. She was patient while I stared at the menu..then I stared even more. Hard decisions..we got take out and had enough food for two day. Massive portion. So food is good. Big quantity. Very nice lady taking orders. I think my fortune cookie should have read. " You come back again".

Estaba simplemente deliciosa. Gracias.

Since many of the authentic Chinese restaurants are a bit of a drive, we're glad we have this place nearby amd honestly, it serves some really decent Chinese food compared to some others nearby. Very busy at times (have had up to 45 min wait), but your food is guaranteed to be hot and freshly made. My picky son has a favorite dish he always has to have (and not made in too many places) and always compares it to the way my dad used to make it and this place stacks up! Prices are good and staff is pretty friendly (don't expect that from many old school Chinese people).

D
DJ JEL

Tried this spot as the poke bowl place was closed. Kim served me and recommended the steamed dumplings and wings. They were really good, the steamed dumplings with chili oil was my favorite. You can't go wrong. What really impressed me was the service for a take out place. I will definitely return soon.

Reliable westernized Chinese style food. Large menu. I've ordered 2x from here. The food is on the high side for storefront Chinese takeout places. If you live or work in Plantation, this is the storefront stir fry place I like best. I had 2st time Kung Pao Chicken, today stir fried beef with veg + will try their Hot & Sour soup later. Their egg rolls are tasty and good fillings. Eat with the Chinese hot mustard. I plan to keep trying their other dishes. The ppl who run the kitchen speak Cantonese & Mandarin, usually a good sign for a stir fry place.

Unfortunately tonight I found a piece of old metal (small hard wire) in my sweet chili sauce shrimp. I had been calling the restaurant to alert them and no one answered the phone. I hope I didn’t swallowed any pieces of that wire!

K

They have been hit or miss. My wife loves their boneless ribs. I've had a couple things that were really good and some that are not so great. It's a solid option though and has nice extra choices beyond most of the standard NY style chinese places.

S

I'm a huge fan of a couple of items on their menu and this keeps me coming back here regularly. It used to be a tad bit difficult at times to understand and to be understood by the person taking your order here, but that's about my only issue. Update: Since they hired a new receptionist their service has considerably improved! Now my order is right everytime and I'm back to frequenting this place again.

J

Have mixed emotions on this one. Been a customer Many years and will probably continue to be due to what's out there, but too be fair and honest, the food quality has been declining rapidly..some of it I think might be due to the pandemic but also partly due to the over saltiness and grease the food swims in..also the portions have shrunk and they seem to forget to include essentials on takeout orders

W
Withnise Dorlus

The first time i order from the place i loved it because it was just a 2 dollar delivary charge and the food was cheap, i order sweet and sour chicken wings, once i got it i was surprised it toke an hour and is 4 chicken wings with sweet and sour sauce on the side 6.00$ including delivary charge. unlike this place china sun they come with the sauce cooked with the chicken wings or chicken and it comes with rice and it taste amazing for 7.00$ the only reason i don't order delivary from there is because your order has to be over 13.00$. but i order from Mandarian village a lot now only because of its price and their food is ok. at times it may be bland, other days its delicious.

Last night I picked up my order on my way home from work. When I got home, I found that there were items missing (pancakes/wraps, and sauce). I called and was told that I’d have to go back to get it. I asked if someone could deliver it. I was told that no one was available, AND, even if there was, I’d have to pay for the delivery. I was so mad that I had to wait an hour so that I wouldn’t go in screaming. When I got there, they gave me my stuff and I left. No offer of any discount for next time, no extra treats, nothing.

Sub par food. Soup was bland and extremely salty. sweet and sour chicken tasted like chicken mcnuggets and the coating was hard as a rock, barely edible. the cracker noodles for the soup was old and chewy. very friendly people, but the food is below par and not worth $10

J
Jennifer M

Girl answering phones and at the front very rude. Then the food was the Worst I have ever had. I ordered General Tso Chicken. Dont know what I got but it was horrible. The fried rice was very bland with nothing special. After driving and paying 13.99 for one plate I came home and it went right in the trash. Never again...

E
Eddie Frisbee

The Chicken lo mein is horrible unless you want 4 pieces of chicken and over cooked noodles. Id rather go to Pollo for rice.

D
Don Minshew

The search for good Chinese in this area continues. Mediocre, at best. Egg drop very salty. Egg roll ok but nothing special. General TSO? Fried too hard. Sauce forgettable.

D
David Nelson

Food was not really worth the price ended up paying 60$ for two meals and a foo foo platter. Food was hot but not the best tasting.

I always wonder why I never order from this restaurant when it so near by, then I order, and then I realized why! The large wonton soup brought only 4 small wontons, they were uncooked and very salty. For $6 I expect to get more. Egg Roll order was $4 they were tasty, but small. I'm in $15 and I haven't ordered the entrees!

J
JM Productions Inc.

We have been ordering from Mandarin Village for several years. The food is good but they haven't gotten the order correctly for the past 8 times. Something missing or the wrong order complete. They have lost a loyal customer. We will never order from them again. To much hassle.

M
Mr George

Food was ready by the time I got there, however no one was at the front. Had to yell a couple of times to get someone's attention. The food was unacceptable. The chicken looked weird; the skin was hard and came off from the chicken. Couldn't get myself to eat another bite so I threw it out. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the crab Rangoon and eggroll was ok. Will not be coming here again. Other reviews serves to be true

T
Tussacia Brewster

After a good run I must say this is the last time I ever order from them. As a vegetarian receiving meat in my food is unacceptable! I can't trust their food anymore. Beware those of you with allergies too!

M
Melanie Wilber

After many years, we are breaking up with Mandarin Village because lately our order is always incorrect or they forget the sauces that go with the dishes. They have never been apologetic or they just blame me. We miss the lady that used to work the front counter- she was the absolute best, very thorough and provided amazing customer service… oh well. That’s definitely not how things are run anymore.

A
Author Joyce Stewart (The Love University)

My first time here and my fries were either old and reheated or just over cooked. They tasted like grease. I don’t cook my fries until they are this color!!!! The person who took my order was polite but made excuses as to the shade of the fries. They tasted awful. He said the owner wasn’t there. He tried to offer to make another batch but I couldn’t wait. I was very disappointed as my initial and last visit. I gave him two stars for his effort but this is unacceptable.

M
Mecca Seide

I don’t usually write reviews, but I spent about $40 through delivery for this meal (shrimp japchae and chicken chow mein), and it was completely inedible. The chow mein was unrecognizable as any food item, and tasted horrific. We could not even keep the chicken in our mouths, it was so bad. The japchae tasted nothing like japchae, and the sauce it sat in was sour and salty. I could barely get through a few pieces of what seems like breaded and soaked shrimp. I even tried to eat the shrimp with white rice, but I couldn’t take more than a few bites. We also got chicken fried rice, and the peas in it were hard. The entire meal had to be tossed. I don’t know if it was just a bad night, but I am very upset for the waste of food and money. There was not a single aspect of this order that was salvageable.

g

Absolutely disgusting. I don’t know what kind of place this is. The food is inedible and looks awful. I ordered 3 chicken chow mein and see the picture for reference.

i called in and placed an order to pick up, when i got there i paid with my card and my total was 8.69 , a few days later they charged my card 29.79 , the merchant category was “Drug stores, pharmacies”. they also overdrew my account by charging me extra and the food was HORRIBLE! do not eat here and if you do, don’t pay with card !

R
Ray R (Racie)

Very disappointing... the fried wonton were burnt. The general taos chicken was also burnt and dry. I've ordered food from this place before and it was good. Maybe they had an off day!

J
J Duncan

Pricy... $13 for a rather small dinner meal!?!?!?, Bland food. I ordered the orange chicken dinner and don't even know what I got as I had never seen orange chicken like that before. The orange peel flavor wasn't fused correctly at all. I rarely if ever do Chinese food places here in south florida being a native from nyc...I usually stick to panda express in the mall to get my Chinese food fix but this place is very close to my home. Very Disappointed. Wont be returning.

T

We ordered from here on Christmas Eve. The order was placed online on their website and told us to pick up between 7:00-7:05. I went to pick up at the assigned time. When I gave my name to pick up the girl at the front counter says, “did you order online” and I said yes. She said, “oh it’s going to be like 45 mins, do you want to cancel the order”. All in one sentence. I promptly said yes. Nasty, I guess they didn’t need my $75 order. Going to TOA TOA. Much nicer people there!

N
Nathalie Bader

The food came 45 mins later We took crab Rangoon they were cold , dry and no stuffing Then we had orange chicken :it was disgusting the sauce was black and the chicken extremely dry then we took beef broccoli the beef had no flavor it was vey fatty and 3 broccolis not cooked The pasta was swimming in watery teriyaki sauce and very little portion Anyway I do not recommend this place go to peu Wei or Panda Express you will spend less and it’s probably better

D
Don yeyo

What a waist of money... ribs are garbage and portions are weak. Don't eat here!

R

we just returned to the area and was surprised to learn the original Mandarin Village restaurant I. plantation had closed down. thinking this place was a spin-off we picked up some Mongolian beef. what a mistake!

C
Claudia Gamboa

Food is very tasteless, fried rice has no taste, chicken was soggy and didn't taste like your usual general tso chicken

D
David Jacob

The worst Chinese food ever. Full of MSG, bad quality meat, the food is completely inedible. Never come here.

E
Evelande Souffrant

Ordered twice. First time shrimp fried rice was exceptional. Fried chicken wings was not thoroughly cooked. Thinking it may have been a one time thing, I ordered a 2nd time. 2nd time the rice was disgusting Tasted old and I ordered around 12pm. I ordered the bourbon chicken special and the bourbon chicken was very undercooked with NO FLAVOR. Worst bourbon chicken I ever had. Will never order from here again.

J
Jess Hollen

The food SUCKED. Overall it had NO FLAVOR and was OVER PRICED. This must be some Causasian mom n pop side hustle, because this is THE worst Chinese food I've ever had! The wontons in the wonton soup smelled kind of burnt for some reason. There were only (4) wontons in a whole quart of soup!! My old takeout place had double that amount and for 30% less cost! The scallion pancake had NO SCALLIONS! It was burnt on the outside but not fully cooked, bland & oily, certainly did not taste like scallions at all, just a limp pancake batter. The fried rice had NO VEGETABLES in it! Not a scallion, sprout or carrot, no egg, no pork, not much soy either! It was flavorless and oily. The chicken bourbon was surprisingly bland too! I spent over $50 for two people and I didn't even finish my food to write this review. I won't be visiting them again.

K
Kim Vadnais

We used their online service and ordered two combos for delivery with two specialties No rice nor egg rolls came even though they were listed as a part of the combo on the menu. They refused to fix their mistake, even though we have been overcharged. Watch out-buyer beware. They are not worried about retaining customers, and we will certainly never purchase from them again! Crooks!

M
Mary Poetsche

I am in agreement with Jennifer and Lucas. Was the worst I ever had. Sweet and sour sauce was horrible. Fried rice was bland with no pork in it. Won ton soup was not very good. Orange chicken was inedible. Never going back. Fast delivery though.

S
Samantha Embley

The only thing that was close to being good was the soup, but even that was salty. The chicken pad thai was the worst, the sauce was so sour like the fish sauce wasn't cooked down all the way. Tasted like a mixture of ketchup and vinegar. Fried rice was barely even that

M
Maria Alvarez

Do not order here.. The plates came with a lot of vegetables and not protein and the taste is not good

L
Lucas W

Took them about 5 minutes to realize someone was at the counter. Food was bland, ordered sweet and sour chicken. The chicken was dry. Sweet and sour sauce was not good. Cost about $10. Not impressed at all, will not be ordering here ever again.

Z
Zach

Constantly gets orders wrong and good luck if they deliver you the wrong dish, Which is VERY often, because they refuse to help you at all and tell you its your problem or to "figure it out for yourself". This is a disappointment as we have ordered from them numerous times and there is always something wrong. They know that they mess up but don't care or want to help. Will never order from them again.

H
Howard Wechsler

Have been going to Mandarin Village for a long time. A few weeks ago I picked up my order which was wrapped n cellophane. Usually the food is served in a box. After eating the food, I was sick for two days with stomach pains and diarrhea. The reason I started going year ago was because food was fresh. Now it's time for a new Chinese restaurant.

A
Anthony Galati

I repeat do no order from here! Ordered this past Sunday, and being repeat customers we will never again eat here. Although, they used to have our trust/good customer service. We get home excited to enjoy our grub only to a find some sort of BUG in our container ruining our ability to even think about finishing any of our meals. Again lost customers for life try to avoid if you can.

M
Marc Bietz

Have ordered from there before and the food was pretty good. However, this time the soup was inedible. It tasted like salt water. Lo mein was decent as was the fried rice but the shrimp with vegetable was way too fishy smelling. When I called to lodge a complaint, they could not care less. Needless to say, I won't be going back

S
Susan strauss

I ordered yesterday. First, they forgot the eggroll, so they credited me for it, ok. But, I got the egg foo young and usually they give me three pieces and a container of rice on the side. This time, they gave me two pieces and a little rice in the styrofoam container and it wasn’t enough. It was little disappointing.

A
Alexandra Rolle-Edelman

My husband ordered delivery through Uber. The order total about $50 including tip . The order also included shrimp fried rice, as I don’t eat any type of meat or pork product. Just arrived from work after 12 hour day to find that we were given some type of rice , contain pork , beef and whatever else . It definitely wasn’t shrimp fried rice . Upon this discovery, my husband called the restaurant for the lady to tell him that he was not being truthful about the rice. He asked her if he she’s calling him a liar . Keep in mind, It’s the smallest shrimp rice !!!!!!! Completely overpriced. It was $10.00. Both people at the counter did not eat pork , so they have an idea of what that means but to accuse my husband of being a liar is absurd. I have been ordering from this restaurant for at least 7 years . The person at the counter during that time was a lovely lady , who was spectacular and paid attention to detail . It’s obvious that it has changed hands because there was a muscle / security person who had the audacity to approach , aggressively about my approach to the situation. I don’t eat any meat and pork products, so yes ! I’m upset when you get something you did not order and then be called a liar . This is absolutely ridiculous! I can assure you , your restaurant won’t survive with this type of service, especially in this area. Get rid of your muscle man, he’s going to send you out of business because if you continue to respond to a customer like this , you won’t survive in this neighborhood. We’re out !!!! Good luck because you both appear to be good people but your muscle person doesn’t have a good look for this business especially in this area and check the order before sending it out. The chicken was was horrible , thick sauce and cold . So sorry !! Good luck !
