Great customer service, american dinner food....I love to go for breakfast

A staple for breakfast, brunch or lunch in Plantation. Hands down one of the best old school diners around.

Challah French toast was delicious . I love the large sausage links.

One of the best places in Broward county for breakfast. I found on a google search one day and my experience was nothing less than a 10. Great service, friendly atmosphere, happy-friendly employees, quick service and above all fresh delicious food. I will be back many times.

Nice diner , lots of regulars in here. Monte Cristo was good. Grits were plain.

I have eaten here many times but didn't realize how good the food actually is. It's hard to judge from eggs which are good almost anywhere and theirs are delicious. But I will tell you that the soup does not come out of a bag in his homemade. It was outstanding. As were the grits. And the pies were Beyond yummy.

Everything they serve is spot on!! Theres a reason why they stay so slammed! XL portions on pretty much everything. The gravy and chicken/coontry fried steak tasted excellent, home made just like i had growing up. Nobody makes it like this anymore

All right so I tried this location out with my fiance for the first time this month. Normally when I come into town we go to IHOP after I get off the plane. Don't get me wrong IHOP is great but it's not Plantation Diner. We decided to go here later after I've been in town for a couple of days and the food and service really blew me away. They have amazing combinations of different meals. I had a sriracha omelette it was so good. So well so goodbye to IHOP. This is now our favorite place to go.

We stopped here for an early breakfast while our daughter was having surgery at the hospital and the service and food was perfect.

Did not eat there. It was bussy so I belive the food be good,pricing is expensive but I can say to the quality and amount. Standard deli.

I love this place!!! The food has been consistently good, except for once. And that was because the particular omelet I ordered was not my cup of tea (or combination of ingredients that goes well together ... it had something to do with olives. And I like olives, just not this omelet). But, the BEST part about this diner is not the food (although, it's usually good) it's the staff. The staff is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS very pleasant, very friendly and very helpful. From the moment I walk in, I have always been greeted right away with a cheery face and everyone who's waited on me has ALWAYS been cheery too. What a wonderful place to visit!

Best Diner in the World. I could be overdoing it but this review is honest and straight from the heart. They are amazing starting with the front staff, always taking care of everyone in a timely manner, the waiters and waitresses are amazing, once your a regular they remember your name and are just a pleasure to come everytime. The food is out of this world, I always get the "Country Omelet" and it's perfect every time. Today i order through postmates for my wife, on the bag there was a note and it was from one of our favorite waitresses Megan!! She recognized my wife's name and send her a cute note. These are the people that love their job and that's why the food is the way it is (AMAZING), the environment feels like home and there is always a smile to cheer you up.

We’ve driven across the country 3 times and love a good American diner. This is our favorite breakfast diner in South Florida. Best breakfast foods. Ambience is spot on; calm, comforting, and cheerful. The servers are a mix of witty and good natured; all are efficient and sweet. Plus, they employ high schoolers to bus the tables and they’re all good, hardworking kids. They get eggs over medium perfect every time. They do everything right. They serve a few things you won’t find elsewhere. Best tasting chipped beef gravy this side of home. The Ms. Lorraine omelet is outta this world good. They’ll butter and grill the biscuits for you. Their breakfast potatoes are seasoned great. I’ve tried about seven of their omelets: all winners. Extensive menu. Plantation Diner is a family-owned legend.

My wife and I make it a tradition to have breakfast here after our son’s graduation. We did it last year when he went from pre-k to 1st and we did it this year as he is going from 1st to 2nd. We love the place! The food is great and it comes out quick which is always a plus, the atmosphere is amazing(they have TVs all around playing various programs) and the service is A1! Recommend to any and everyone!

I came here for brunch with a friend and the food was absolutely fantastic! The prices were reasonable, the portions were generous, and everything was delicious. I had the challah French toast with strawberry topping and turkey sausage on the side, while my friend got the monte cristo sandwich; both were delicious. The service was also great, our waitress was very sweet and they have very attentive staff.

Little extra drive well worth it. Mom has had her local favorites for many years that have changed. Although really close to her , I wasn’t as thrilled with her most recent fav ( She doesn’t drive anymore so the aide keeps it close ) . On a whim we took her and her aide here for a birthday brunch in July and it was terrific. Food and service top notch. So on this recent trip , it was just the three of us and even better than the first. Mom’s’ Shrimp Salad Sandwich was awesome! She could hardly finish 1/2 and took the rest home. Wife Nan and I shared the turkey club and it so SO filling and delicious as well. Loved it. This is MY new ‘ go to ‘ place.

Plantation Diner has been in Plantation for as long as I can remember. They are consistently GREAT! Their food is always delicious and it always amazes me how quickly the meals are prepared. My family goes to this diner on a regular basis and I can honestly say that I have never been disappointed here. They are also dog friendly if you eat outside. In fact we went there today and ate inside, and a few of the staff stopped by and asked where "Jagger" was!

1st time here and definitely coming back. Great menu, tons of choices for breakfast and lunch. The cinnamon toast crunch French toast is a weekly special but I hope they decide to keep it on the menu...it was amazing! Service was friendly and attentive.

We frequent here a lot especially when my mom is in town she is from nyc and loves the atmosphere food is great as well, we had breakfast here this Morning and it was awesome hit the spot we ordered the Greek omelette with some home fries and bacon on the side. Our server was awesome very friendly and attentive told us about the daily specials which sounded awesome but we wanted a simple breakfast but will definitely try next time keep up the good work guys !!!!

My friends and I meet here for breakfast often to eat great food and get caught up with our respective lives. The tables are fully cleaned right after a party leaves their table. Masks are only "recommended" now, and you no longer need to wear a mask when going to and from the restroom or when leaving the diner. The staff are very friendly and you'll see some of them wearing masks if they choose to. Oh, did I mention that the food is great? So check them out, but do so early because their hours are 6a-3p Monday-Saturday and 6:30a-2p on Sundays. Enjoy!

We love a great Diner and this will be our favorite go to place. It is always packed and worth the wait! Food hot, fresh and generous. The ladies are all attentive and friendly!

Great place to eat. Very good food and service. Portion sizes are perfect and the place is very clean and friendly. Had the pastrami on a pumpernickel bagel and my wife had corned beef on pumprrnickle bagel. Both were excellent.

I was looking for an authentic breakfast spot and I'm so glad that I found this gem. The service was great and the food was delicious. Portions were just right and everyone enjoyed their meal. I had the avocado toast and my daughter had a h french toast (came with strawberries and whip cream on the side). My mother had the bacon cheeseburger and fries (I had food envy). I'll definitely be going back when I'm in back in Florida.

Good portions at fair prices. I've been wanting to go here for a while and decided to take the family on Mother's day. Even though there was a wait the staff was turning tables quickly and we were seated in short order.

Just became one of our go to’s when we are in the area. Food was delicious, large portions, great prices, and amazing service. We had a group of 7 and some ordered breakfast and some ordered lunch. The club (for $4 and some charge extra you can have ham, turkey, and roast beef) it was huge with at least a pound or more of fresh sliced meat. You can’t get your mouth around it and the flavor is outstanding.

Family diner, food is delicious. Willing to travel to plantation from Hollywood just to eat here. I'm from the Midwest and was trying to find a breakfast spot that felt like home. Food, atmosphere, and service. Had an omelet and hubby the pancakes our 1st visit. Went back a week later it was so good.

This is hands down the very best breakfast place. The employees were very courteous. They also demonstrated excellent diversity and inclusion. The staff is friendly to all groups and regardless of color, race, creed, or serial orientation. The service is above 5 stars. The food had to be made by Jesus it was so good I wanted to stand up and stomp like I was in church and yell hallelujah!!!!! The utensils were clean, the dishes, were, the place was clean and once again the staff was on 10. They paid attention to details, they were quick, they assisted, they serviced.

Great food here! Love the selections. However I do wish they had non dairy options for the coffee. Had the chicken omelette, GF bagel, and oatmeal. Husband had turkey non skillet and said it was a lot of food! Will definitely be back when we are off our cruise.

First time in.I can only say good things about this restaurant. The food was delicious. The prices don’t bite. The service is outstanding, especially for a diner. Just the best service I’ve ever gotten at this class of restaurant in my life. Kate was our server. She is the best.

Came in for the first time with my friend and hands down the best breakfast spot I have visited in a long time. The hostess was all smiles, warm and friendly. I wish I got her name. Kay our server was the best. So down to earth and put up with my lame jokes like a champ! The food, fresh, Hot, and delicious. The home fries were so good, the bagel was huge. Very Well Run Diner. With a few local breakfast places closing, we have been looking for a great place for weekend breakfast that offers classic food without needing a second mortgage. We've found it at Plantation Diner! Restaurant is clean. All staff, not just the servers, are friendly and attentive. The servers are super familiar with the menu and never far away. The coffee keeps coming without having to ask. Your plates are bussed at the end of the meal. Food is excellent and reasonably priced with a diverse menu. We are now "2 for 2" with both visits being consistently excellent. If you are looking for breakfast or lunch in Plantation, highly recommend.

The challah french toast was so good. The staff is amazing. I can't wait to try the hummingbird cake we took to go. Will definitely come back. It doesn't have a diner feel, but it is clean and nice inside.

Plantation Diner is a fixture for us whenever we visit family in South Florida. It’s our go-to spot for breakfast. The omelets are very good, the coffee is solid, and the atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming. The service is consistently very good, which makes it an easy place to relax and enjoy a meal. A dependable, classic breakfast spot we always look forward to visiting.

Great coffee. Reasonable prices. Really, everyone is just great here. The wait time (even at 9 on a Sunday morning) was just a few minutes. Our breakfast was on the table in about 10 minutes and our coffee cups were never empty.

As always, the service here was on point and very friendly. They make you feel very welcome, even first thing in the morning! I was one of the first patrons in shortly after opening, so was hoping for a fresh and hot meal. I decided to try something new, the Italian sausage omelet, but to my dismay, it was warm, not hot, and just was not for me. For me personally, the sausage and ricotta just didn't blend well with eggs. But, that is just a possibility when trying something new and different. I also had a b&g which was delicious, but also just warm, not hot. Overall, this was a good visit. The food freshness just wasn't up to the same level as previous visits when I am in town. I will still visit when in town next time.

The Turkey Sausage non-skillet was good, but It didn't have the broccoli in it as advertised. I like to get what I paid for. Coffee was good.

The food was good I ordered a croissant country scrambled eggs and sausage side of grits return cheese. I didn’t enjoy the grits a bit in the runny side. Nice place for a hearty breakfast would come back again

This diner has a line when it first opens and then all the regulars file in. Breakfast is the only meal i have had here and never disappoints. The pancakes are served hot, moist and has a good flavor, never been dry. The oatmeal was a good sized bowl loaded with whatever you like, also served hot. Service is fast, friendly and prices are very reasonable. See you soon.

I absolutely love the french dip! I get it to go probably once a month. The pie is really good also. Please please get rid of the homemade pickles. They are awful!!! Regular pickles please

The service was great. Went on a Sunday morning, it was crowded but our wait was no more than 10 minutes. We sat outside and the waitress was attentive and had a great sense of humor. My friends cousins came to town later in the week and he took them there for breakfast. The food was affordable, delicious and it came out quickly. Definitely will return.

Good food, large portions good value.. indoor and outdoor seating. Adding flavored cream cheese to my bagel is delicious bargain.

We were looking for a nice place we could grab something quick, but at the same time have a variety of options. Our waitress was very nice and the food came out very quick. I only had the keto breakfast , but it was very nice. My son had the pancakes with bananas and walnuts, which he said were awesome.

My boyfriend and I went here for brunch with his roommate and family. It had a nice atmosphere and the food was satisfying. I was able to get the 2-2-2 with oreo pancakes which were quite nice. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and I would consider going back for brunch again.

Support local. Denys, IHOP, Pancake House, they are all the same price as this local restaurant. We got huge portions, supported the community, and got leftovers. Enough said.

The restaurant is located in the Publix shopping plaza. It's at a corner to the east side. It has plenty of parking spaces around and a nice sitting area outside. . . . The service was excellent. This was one friendly restaurant. I enjoyed my time here. . . The hot pastrami melt tasted good. It came out fast and got. It was a good size sandwich. I enjoyed it. It came with a nickel and a side. The fries tasted good. I was full after eating it. . . . I enjoyed my time here. I was glad I stopped in.

Great little diner. My parents love it and so does the 55+ crowd. Was a little dissapointed with the chicken fried steak...looked like a frozen patti from a box..so wont order that again..ill go backbto my turkey bacon club...

Birthday breakfast. This was our first time dining here. We've passed by this restaurant many times going grocery shopping, and the birthday man wanted to try it out. Customer-friendly staff. Very busy! Many great breakfast items, but everything is bland. Reasonable price menu.

The food is always delicious with large portions. The service is usually good but sometimes feel forgotten. Barbara is the best. This new method of checking out is ridiculous. It always involves more than one server trying to get payment. Very annoying. They should go back to register up front.

Not impressed. I paid near $16 for scrambled eggs, hash browns and a bagel. The Western Omelette. It was big enough, but the eggs tasted watered down. The best way I can describe them. Not enough ham, which was the best tasting portion of the omelette. The hash browns had a very odd taste. Can’t explain it, just weird and not good. The bagel was fresh, not stale, so that’s good. Server gave me some sass when I was ordering because of some simple miscommunication. Not straight rude, but close to it, kinda like, “Can you just be quiet and let me talk sir”, kinda sass. Cracker Barrel has way better tasting food for way better pricing. As you can see, I didn’t even finish, and it wasn’t because I was full. I say Skip It!

This place has good food but the price is outrageous, I paid 17.00 plus a tip for a to go meal and this is what 17.00 gets you

I ordered the bacon, egg and cheese on wrap on wheat to go. However, I observed servers carrying other dishes to tables as I waited and was impressed. Really cool spot for breakfast. Also, staff was very friendly and professional. Will definitely return. Update--I returned this morning and unfortunately, my experience was a bit challenging. Ordered food to go again and received some of wrong items. I should have checked my order before leaving--my mistake! Also, a great suggestion would be to provide customers with a list of items purchased on their receipt. This might have helped me catch your error before returning. Instead if receiving pancakes and eggs I received pancakes and toast!

Their food was not my cup of tea. Still I want to thank Jodie for paying attention, making my dining experience a hundred percent better 😊

First time here, for a Sunday as expected super busy we knew had to wait about 30 mins not that bad however our server was supper attentive my eggs where ok not out of the ordinary, so the person who brought it that was not our server said that waiting for my English muffin with cream cheese , well I finished my plate and the muffins never came back and the server was not seen again since she took the order and bring out drinks, just about to leave she came by to ask if everything was ok well I said I never got my muffins she will go grab them right away to go I don’t want anything to go was supposed to be part of my breakfast plate! I just paid and left honestly need more attention to the tables but I won’t be coming back again!!!

I only ordered 2 things, potatoes and ham steak and both were basic. Nothing to really give a review about. Seems like a pleasant place.

I was disappointed with the taste of the food. We ordered omelets, the cheese inside the omelets, and sliced cheese on top of the omelets.

Bacon,cheese, string onions with BBQ sauce burger and fries. It looks very good, but I asked for medium well and got very well done...:( Would have told the server but she never bothered showing back up after dropping food and bill at table.

Not too happy right now. Placed what I thought was a very simple breakfast order from Plantation Diner. Both items ordered were incorrect. I ordered eggs over hard with cheddar cheese, smoked sausage, hash browns, and a bagel. My eggs came scrambled with no cheese and my hash browns were missing. We asked for wheat toast on my husband's order, and got white. When I called Plantation Diner, I was met with indifference by the lady who answered. She gave me the obligatory, "well, I'm sorry about that. Since you used a delivery service, you're gonna have to call them for a refund." Then she told me they could make my breakfast again but I would have to drive to the place to pick it up because the delivery service would not come back to re-deliver an order (that should have been correct in the first place). Just such a disappointment that no one there could have taken less than 1 minute to double check an order before handng it off.....Or to re-read an order before preparing it....Unfortunately, this will be my last order from Plantation Diner.

Hello, First, great service without question from the waitress. The kitchen crew was a “Fail”. The order was wrong, no big deal. The scrambled eggs were overcooked and what they call “Home fries” looked like leftover baked potatoes. Look at the photo and tell me if this is something you would enjoy eating.

Service in front was great, server ummm let say she was there lol, food egg benedic egg to hard and a way to much sauce plus the bread base to bland and soft. I think can be better a english muffin insted

Tuesday, October 14th, 2025; 10:30 am Plantation Diner is a clean and well-kept establishment with an excellent selection of menu options to satisfy a wide range of preferences. Customer Service: Server, Barbara, provided outstanding service. She was courteous, attentive, and engaging, ensuring a warm and enjoyable dining experience. Unfortunately, the service from Suzanne did not reflect the same level of professionalism. She appeared disengaged and unapproachable, avoiding eye contact throughout the interaction. When I asked about the menu sides, she only pointed to the menu rather than providing an explanation. There was also noticeable confusion when I inquired about the types of toast available she seemed unwilling to respond, and it wasn’t until my partner asked twice that she finally answered, in a short and dismissive manner. At that point, it became evident that we were being treated differently. Additionally, part of our order was overlooked, and we had to request our orange juices a second time when they arrived, no straws were provided. Her overall demeanor made us feel unwelcome, which was disappointing given the otherwise pleasant environment and the excellent service from Barbara.

Employees were great servers were awesome but I didn’t go their for customer service I went their for food, the food was quite frankly not good I ordered the roast beef platter what they gave me was slices of cold cut roast beef that’s used for sandwiches put in the microwave then flooded with gravy under the meat was a slice of bread that was soaked and falling apart on top of the fact it was cold the mashed potatoes were from a box and the gravy from a can I ordered and extra side of chili which cost 6 dollars and I got a spoonful of canned chilli which was cold as well with some cold cheddar cheese sprinkled on top. Price was high for the quality of food I would prefer way smaller portions with better quality food. Won’t be shopping here again.

My fiancé and I love this dinner and we have gone many times, however this morning was a different story... the pictured was what he found under his home fries. Hair nets should be a MUST in any and all food establishments, so a hat should never be enough. We will not be returning.

This is supposed to be an eggs Benedict which is served with a poached egg. Whoever cooked this has no clue how to poach eggs… it was completely hard, Not runny in the slightest.

I was displeased with the service. Please go to Webby’s instead the next plaze over. I was charged $4.00 for a small orange juice that they considered a small(see picture). The manager stated it depends on what they’re pouring. This place price gauge & it’s not cool. They even charged $1.00 each time for adding cheese. I usually leave $5.00-$10.00 tip but this day I didn’t because I felt taken advantage of.
