Fabulous food, lovely ambience, excellent service. The amazing chef made us off-menu lobster sushi that was to die for. Great staff, especially Arturo and Dawrin, and the restaurant manager, Juan, is the best restaurant manager in the resort, hands down. Highly recommend!

Best resturant on the resort. The food it's absolutely perfect every single time. The sushi is fresh, the cooked food is amazing and perfectly prepared. Make this a multiple night dining experience. You will not be disappointed.

Sushi Master almost as good as Japan. Excellent variety of Sushi. Food fresh from Sushi Bar, but dishes from regular menu a bit similar in flavor.

Die Sushibar ist sehr zu empfehlen, sollte etwas nicht auf der Karte stehen und die Zutaten vorhanden sein, würde dir der Sushi Master das Sushi deiner Wahl erstellen. Unglaublich lecker. Das teppanyaki ist sehr gut gemacht und bietet auch noch eine zusätzliche Show. Würde jederzeit wieder hingehen.

Nothing short of sensational. Me and the wife ate here three times in one week. You will never have French onion soup like Gingers, trust me.

The best restaurant on the resort. We had the duck, the green curry shrimp, the chicken satay, the sea bass, and the sampler desert. It was all very delicious.

A fun atmosphere and good teppanyaki style food. Much like Benihana's. Sea bass was especially liked. Drinks were just so so. Food was included in the all inclusive Imperial Valentin Resort.

The food is fresh and tasty. Sushi bar and Hibachi rooms within the restaurant, where all dishes are prepared in front of guests. All the restaurants at the Valentin Imperial in Mexico are good. This is an all inclusive so tipping is a nice gesture.

We visited ginger twice on our holiday. Our party of six enjoyed the in person chef experience and also the à la carte menu. We tried several dishes each and everything was very very good. We also enjoyed interacting with our waiter and the whole experience was a lot of fun.

Love the sushi bar! Make sure to get the the chefs choice! It's not on the menu but it's the best thing you can get. They will ask you what you like and trailer the sushi too your taste

Absolutely fantastic restaurant within the Valentin Imperial resort. The Hibachi was well worth making the reservation for. The actual restaurant itself though, couldn't understand that we wanted the sharing platter for 3 people, not two.

Excellent food. The service is just as spectacular as anywhere else on the resort. The sushi was delicious. They used very fresh ingredients and the wait time was not bad. They offer your normal basics like a California roll and a few house specials. Sushi, sashimi, hibachi all there.

Wir waren bein Teppanyaki. Es war sehr schön. Auch wenn die Show minimalistisch ist und man merkt, dass doch Koch noch weiter muss. Das Vegetarische Sushi war der Hammer. Frisch zubereitet ist dort alles. Service ist ein wenig langsam. Aber das ist allgemein in jedem Restaurant so gewesen. Hier müssen sie noch ausbauen

We ate there 2 nights. The sushi bar was very good. We asked for the chef's special and got a whole big platter of delicious sushi amd sashimi. The tempanyaki hibachi table was very over-rated. It might have just been our chef and the fact that they put pur reservation at the very end of the night, but I was not impressed by the food at all.

Just a little disappointed.. Actually wanted to sit at Sushi Table. Was seated at Restaurant Table. Didn't get the same options for sushi, etc. Chefs Recommendation, Filet Minion and shrimp was overcooked from medium rare. Ordered Ramon Noodle with my meal and never got it. Some wait staff it seems hard for them to understand English. I ordered and even pointed to dish out on the menu to Waiter. Other then that Food was Amazing as always.

We dined at the sushi bar and was an "okay" experience but did lag the other excellent restaurants on the Valentin Maya resort.

The Ginger restaurant at Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya is very good. I like the sit down service more than Hibachi though this trip we went for the hibachi. The hibachi food is nothing special but our chef put on a phenomenal show! He was very talented.

Advertised as a Japanese restaurant but obviously we are in Mexico so atmosphere is lower, service is as expected for all-inclusive tips included resort (yes you can always tip more, 😉). Food here was excellent and good. Wine was not included in resort fee but you can buy (little crazy at daily price point) $400 to $1K two people. If you get table service you can only order two types of sushi. This is an unbiased review paid on my money with NO gold backs. Definitely a place to eat at, after all you already paid for it!

Ok execution but mainly tuna and salmon. Not the best fish quality either. Was hopeful that we'd get some good local fish, being so close to the sea. But no, it was an attempt at generic sushi. Disappointed. The octopus nigiri, not on the menu, was good however.

This place was one of the best restaurants located at VIM. We visited twice and both times the sushi was delicious. If you're into spicy food, the spicy tuna was amazing. Make sure to come early, because the only area that serves sushi gets taken up fast and it can only seat roughly a party of 12. We passed on the habachi since we wanted sushi, but if you have the opportunity, go for it!

We went to the Hibachi experience and it was really fun! The food was okay, everything in soy sauce but the service and the experience was amazing!

Service and atmosphere were great, good was not the best.

Not the teppanyaki portion of the restaurant (reservations were all taken). Beautiful presentation however the ginger salad was bland, too much soy in the misoshuru soup, scallops (strong fishy taste)with vegetables was burnt and all I could taste was burnt food...I couldn't eat it. This was our last night and I was looking forward to it all week so a bit disappointed. Nestor was a good waiter though.

went here for a wedding dinner recently... absolutely appalling service... rude staff... completely disorganized... not a high end restaurant by any means... needs new management and employees that actually care about their jobs... the resort was way too big and carts had to be taken everywhere... ended up walking most of the time because the carts weren't available...and it is terribly hot!! the wedding had a lot of issues and hiccups and it was overall just an awful experience ... not sure why there are such good ratings for this valentin imperial... stayed at a much smaller and more bright and beautiful resort... will never go to or ever recommend valentin imperial to anyone..
