Marley Coffee Playa del Carmen Reviews
Amazing experience and service! I will always support and return. The service from Dorreymin was the best I’ve had here in Playa Del Carmen. Wonderful attention!!
Very nice place with a view over Playa del Carmen. Excellent food, lovely service (sorry, I forgot the name of our waiter ... ) - we had a very good stay!
One of the best rooftop I’ve ever seen my life, the service the best. The food is very delicious. The bar guys are very friendly and nice ❤️🔥 Check it out ! By the way Javin is the best bar guy, very friendly person and insane service!!!!
The best restaurant in Playa Del Carmen we tried. Wonderfull view, very good atmosphere and excellente dishes. We appreciated.
This restaurant is absolutely incredible. I haven't written a Google review in years, but our experience deserves to be shouted from the rooftop (literally!). We were here with 10 friends, celebrating a 40th birthday. Every single detail was perfect. The starters, drinks, appetizers, main dishes, and desserts were all delicious and presented beautifully. And they could have charged double the prices! The atmosphere couldn't have been better. And our service by Diana, Jose Enrique, and Eduardo took care of us for the 3 hours we spent there. I will literally never forget the time we had here.
Great experience on the rooftop, Dj jamming and fun times
Beautiful setting and great service. Especially loved the fruit and cream cheese dessert.
Absolutely beautiful place and great staff Special call out to #jonathan
Very nice views! Great for sunset drinks!
LOLA rooftop had a lovely view to take in while enjoying tacos and ceviche. Good vibes, good music. Doreymir was a great server, very attentive.
I'm giving a generous 3 stars because the sunset was exceptional. Spicy margarita was passable, and the roasted califlower was truly delicious. But then our service kinda ended... the rest of our food wasn't delivered and after a while I asked for the bill. Nothing else was on it, so we paid and left. At one point, we had a tray of dips dropped off, but they were quickly collected and taken away. We got one of the tortillas (there were 2) and it was good, but I didn't feel like 2 was enough for all the dips.
We came for the view, and hoped to enjoy a rather elaborate meal, neither of which matched our expectations
We used to like the brunch here it was really good. Now the food is bad it is super crowed and the service is not like it used to be. There are half the options for food there used to be and the food there is is not cooked well and cheap.
Had such high hopes for this place, but the reviews must only be for the brunch. Booked a table for dinner last night, I didn’t realize this was a Hilton restaurant before booking, but we gave it a shot anyway. We arrived and were seated immediately. Make sure you bring your reading glasses because the menu print is so small, in the dim light even our waiter couldn’t read it. Out comes the trusty iPhone flashlight to save the day. No prices for the wines, which were all 1,000 pesos. Strange, and I don’t mind hotel wine prices, but $60 for a sauv blanc? Comeon. We ordered the smoked feta to share, and the snapper grilled. The waiter said it is basted in a garlic butter, with a guajillo sauce on the side. The feta was such a strange dish. It arrived in a bowl with a ton of yogurt. I thought it was a soup. The feta was so incredibly dry and lacked any of the traditional creaminess. The fish arrived and I immediately knew it was over cooked, to the point that half the fish was inedible because it was fish jerky. Don’t get me wrong, I love some crispy fish skin, but this was hammered. Not basted in any sauce, which ended up being granulated garlic and butter. The guajillo sauce was actually a green creamy Serrano, given the level of heat, which I enjoy. But really that fish was a travesty. We should have sent it back, but my wife was really hungry and didn’t mind. About halfway through we realized it was actually fried and not grilled. I assumed the grill was just at a really low temperature which is why it was so dry and crispy. When I say crispy, it’s not just the skin, but most of the meat too. How does one make crispy fish meat? You can either dry it in the sun for a few weeks, or drop it in a fryer and read War and Peace. If you want a shortcut you can just go to Lola and order this dish. They did all of the work for you. Did I mention it was hammered? Like, if you look up the definition of hammered there is a picture of this dish. My wife loves to pick every last little bit of meat off the bones, as you can see even she couldn’t eat those. We’ve been coming to PdC for the last 10 years, we’ve had exceptional meals and we’ve had some howlers. This wasn’t the worst meal I’ve had here, but it was close.
Not tasty drink and expensive. I payed 10 dollars for piñada- it is alcohol- free pina colada. They did milkshake with coco milk instead without even ananas.the coco milk was not fresh as I had a problem with stomach shortly after.
Worst food I've ever had.. with a very nice view
Cancelled our reservation last minute via OpenTable. Heard this happens quite often.
