When I can't get my 91 year old mother to eat, I pick her up a vanilla shake. You can mix a vanilla protein drink in it. Plus, I can get the rest of my family something to eat. Win win

The employees are kind and when I smile they always smile back. If I ask for crispier fries, there's no look of inconvenience. I think those spatula doorhandles are the coolest thing!

They have changed the management and crew which I really appreciate. New staff are nice, polite and honest. Very good place to eat in with lots of parking space and close to free-ways, banks, gasoline stations and other establishments. Affordable deals as well compare to McDonald's. Just loving it!!!
Food - 3 stars. Customer service 7 stars. Average 5 stars. ;) It's the same as any other burger king, but the man who is always behind the counter around lunchtime (probably franchise owner or manager) is so polite, patient, sweet, and helpful, that this location gets 5 starts from me.
Wow, the girl you had working the drive-thru today at around 5:45pm game outstanding service. Her demeanor was bubbly yet professional and she handled the money with BOTH HANDS. Reminded me of the service I received in Japan. She should be given a raise and entrusted with training all your future employees from this day forth.
Promotion prices are reasonable and affordable, specially at this pandemic time. My experience the other day, food was great for the price of 3 whopper 3 cheese burger and 3 French fries for $13.dollars and some cents. That was a great dinner for me and my family.

TLDR: be smart about your order/people are nice/food is burger king quality People are usually great! The older people who work there are super nice and polite I've even had them offer me water while I was waiting. (It's the little things man) The younger people don't seem to care as much but who does when one of their first jobs is in fast food. (They still so the work and I haven't had issues with them you can just tell they don't wanna be there for life and that makes sense) The people making food in the back are crazy fast tho it's actually impressive how quickly they are making food for both drive thru and takeout. They are usually pretty quick with the food but every once in a while it takes a bit longer than expected. I've seen people complain about prioritizing drive through over takeout but that's not the employees fault if you have a problem with it take it up with corporate (I used to work at taco bell... Same company. Drive through standards are crazy) be smart about your order and you won't have a problem. If it's a complicated order go inside. If it's quick use the drive through and order ahead on mobile.
I had a great experience at Burger King thanks to Mike’s outstanding customer service. He went above and beyond to help me with the mobile app and made the whole process easy and stress-free. Mike communicated clearly, was patient, and made sure everything was set up correctly. It’s always refreshing to see someone who truly cares about helping customers. Because of service like this, I’ll definitely be returning. Great job, Mike!
This is a review for the new Spicy Ch'King sandwich (competing the famous Popeyes sandwich and other subsequent knock offs from McDonald's, Jack in the Box, and even Shake Shack). The sandwich comes with a potato bun which is way better than other BK buns. Soft, moist and a little chewy. The chicken, unlike Popeye's, is glazed with a sweet/spicy sauce and topped with a sauce similar to the Popeyes sauce. Chicken portion size is excellent. Nice thick piece. Was not dry at all. Batter was crispy (the two times I tried McDonald's sandwich, the batter had no crispiness to it). Price is $5 each, but I go the deal from the app for two sandwich, two fries, two drinks for $11. Pretty solid. Recommended!

Flame broiled meat makes the burger. Good onion rings. If their burgers had an option for grilled onion, it would be 5 stars.
Food was prompt and service friendly. Tables could have been a little cleaner but otherwise consistent with the BK model.
As far as Burger Kings go its pretty solid. The staff is friendly and its never that busy. My food is always right and fresh. Their original chicken sandwich in particular always taste like it just came out the fryer. The chicken nuggets however can be hit or miss.
Shortage of workers. There were only two workers at the store at 4pm today. One was in the kitchen and other was running to service between front counter and driver through window. About a dozen customers inside. Food was good and hot.
One the few fast food places I'll eat at once in a while which meat test decently good. Service can be a slow at times due to shortage of workers. But overall a good spot for a quick meal.
We went because my niece wanted to try the new monster menu Whopper. The menu offers turn off the floor choices you can get Mummy mozzarella fries.. vampire nuggets Jack O'Lantern Whopper or a franken candy sundae. We thought the texture of the orange bun was chewy, I didn't like it the rest was just okay but for novelty it was fun for my niece I would recommend getting the value pack where you get all four items for $17 .

So every once in a while I go get a whopper but this was my first time at this B.K. got my whoppers to go for a four hour drive of road happiness but these whoppers didn't taste like the normal whoppers, the sauce or the pickles just weren't the same. At the end of the sun valley mall parking lot, past Safeway and near a closed down jc pennies furniture store this burger King sees lots of traffic for homeless people but it's right near my house and cheaper than food other places so I get the family bundle here with like 6 burgers for $17.99 and get right on the freeway to take kids to museums or park. Usually don't dine in. Used to when in high school though.
Wait was extremely long although there weren't very many cars. We didn't have a big or special order either. I'm pretty sure they were in the back, butchering the cows for our burgers. The food was sloppily thrown together but it was good.
I rarely get fast food, and my daughter was hungry, so we stopped here and got the chicken sandwich her sister got a kids meal with chicken nuggets and I got the 8 piece chicken nuggets... I honestly think it's over priced but the girls liked it
Best part of this visit was that my good friend bought me lunch, and the employee working the window was fantastic and funny. The chicken fries were a little too crispy, the fries were great, and as my fast food meal this week, I think the fries made it worth it. I miss burgers, darn GI tract.

I used to like this place but 2 days ago I went in for lunch and brought my own cup for water. They wanted to charge me for the water. Absurd. That $0.27 for water to drink with my sandwich has cost them all my future business. All the ads they send me every month in my mail are going right in the trash going fwd., or the litterbox. I have never had a restaurant do this. Poor business decision by BK in Pleasant Hill. SMH! I could have gotten it from the sink in the restroom I suppose, but that just seemed out of bounds. My warning should have been the signs all over the front counter saying they charge more than the coupon price on the flipping sheet they keep mailing to me. The King has lost his crown, and I live 3 blocks from the restaurant. They're marketing department is thrashed. My last visit. Unfortunate cuz they are usually pretty friendly and their food is pretty good. Lots of competitors nearby so I will be taking my money there next time. Boo x 100!
I ordered breakfast around 10:20 online so I could get both breakfast items and lunch when I got there to pick it up. The didn't have nor would they provide my breakfast order and then couldn't refund my money. I then placed an order for 2 rodeo cheeseburgers and 2 8 count spicy chicken fries. When I got home I realized they only put in 1 spicy chicken fry but they only charged me for one so I guess no loss there but the rodeo cheeseburgers, which I paid extra to get the cheese, were only rodeo burgers. They weren't busy so I'm not sure why they couldn't get a simple order correct. This is sad because I love BK and was excited when I found one close to me.
Pedestrians need not apply anymore, as they've taken to closing the dining room well in advance of their stated dining room closing time. Better walk somewhere else.
This place is too old and stinky, There is water leaking from the roof every where. Definitely it need to be rebuilt.. By the way, food was ok..

It says on the door that they were open until 12 pm. I got there at 10 :20, waited and called the store so that they would let me in. The employees ignored me. All while attending drive thru normally
Spent 30 minutes stuck in drive thru and it's not the first time. Last time I'll be coming here. No matter if it's only you in drive through or 3 cars before you. They always take forever.

Was stuck in drive thru 25 minutes with only 2 cars in front of me. All I had was a Jr whopper meal. The first of the 2 cars in front of me returns their bag and waits for a new one.. so order was.wrong. It get so bad they now have a line wrapping around and the 2nd car behind me is honking and yelling their taking to long into the speaker at them. To top it off.. I live 5 minutes from there. I get home and my food is COLD. Fries weren't even cooked all the way!
One guy running the entire operation. 4 pm and the dining room was closed and the drive thru was closed by 4:15pm. The one guy working could not have been nicer but definitely needed some help to stay open.

Long wait line and when we got home order wrong...checked at the time but didn't taste all bags so chicken nuggets bought for kids we ordered as original ended up being spicy. Call store and dis apologize just have excuse after excuses.
They took a long time to take our order. And when they handed us our bag they left the window at the drive through before we could ask for our last item. We kept saying “excuse me!” And they never came back.
I ordered the 2 for $4.00 crecsants and I paid with a twenty and got change back. I got one with cheese only, no egg no meat, and both sandwiches were cold!! When I brought it back and I wanted my money back. The order taker tried to give me a twenty dollar bill back. I thought I was in the twilight zone.

Using Drive-thru got charged for 3 drinks, ordered 2. Let that slide. Manager explained only 2 employees working including himself, very apologetic. Got home totally wrong order in bag. Drove back. Manager made the order himself. Got home again with order half right, along with no receipt. Enough already. Customer lost.
Both trips here had problems. First visit, they gave me food that I had not ordered, didn't fond out until I was home. Ok, fine, mistakes happen. 2nd visit, owed 17.33, gave a $20, $5, and 2 $1 bills, and change. The cashier put it into the register and handed me the receipt. I asked for my $10 change, and she claimed that I had paid the exact bill and said the proof was that she didn't have any $20 bills in her register. I asked to speak to the manager, she claimed to be one, but she wouldn't give me her name (said she didn't have too) and she wasn't wearing a name tag. I gave her my phone number and asked that if the drawer turned up with an extra $10 at the end of the night, that I'd like it back. She grudgingly took my phone number and acted like I was personally attacking her integrity, not like managers should. Never, ever going back there.
The employee who took our order wasnt very friendly or enthusiastic about placing our order. Decided to try something new on the menu! We ordered the mozzarella cheese sticks. When we went to eat them though they looked like they had been sitting put too long under a heat lamp. The cheese tasted old and wasnt even gooey plus they forgot the crucial part-time dipping sauce. To top that off the diet soda tasted odd. Like it was a combination of sodas. Sadly to say after nearly 30 years of going to that Burger King we wont be anymore.
Waited in drive thru for over to be told that we had to wait even longer because shw only had two hands and couldn't take our order until she was done with the car in front. I said if I could get out of the drive thru I would go somewhere else because I only had 30 minutes for lunch. She then said that she was not going to take our order and made us wait even longer to take the customer's money. So a total of 20 minutes in the the drive thru and no lunch. Very disappointed.
My elderly mother wanted to get a hamburger so we went through the drive-thru window. She was looking at the different choices when the man announced over the intercom that we were taking too long and a minute had passed, he asked us pull forward and leave the line. So we drove to the A &W, were my elderly mother was able to take a little bit more than a minute to look at the menu to pick out a hamburger!
It was absolutely horrible. Had to wait "forever" for them to take the order, then the burger did not have all the toppings advertised and in addition the onion rings were soggy. I used the drive thru but had to get out of my car and go into the physical restaurant to get the sauce I had requested as that was left completely off. No napkins, nothing. I would not even rate them a one star. Will skip them altogether going forward. Never again. My question is how do they stay in business?
Ordered drive through, and on three consecutive visits, my order was missing an item. I let it go the first two times, but at this point it seems to be a pattern that needs to be addressed.

Ew this is the worst burger king I've ever been to i ordered a double patty cheese and bacon burger I was completely shocked my order was over $30!! and this thing ended up being smaller than my palm when I went back the man was rude and told me because I added cheese and bacon it was $15 more and that I should have known to ask for a whopper if I wanted a bigger burger I asked if they could remake it and he told me only if I paid another $15 dollars just for the burger, wow and the frys were cold and stale as was the burger..the lettuce was wilted and cheese not even melted 😠 never coming here again.
BK needs to train their employees more and better in how to communicate professionally to their customers. Even though, say, the customer is in the wrong, an employee should never be blaming the customer. I was making an order through a drive thru service at BK in Pleasant Hill branch, and pretty sure I ordered two of number 6, not spicy, 1 order of $6 Duo, and 2 ice cream cones. After getting a receipt, I noticed that there is only 1 of number 6. I told the employee at that time that I wanted 2 of those and I wanted to add another one, if there has been a mistake. His reaction, "No, you didn't. You never said two. When did you tell me that?! I gave you the order. Let me get the manager". He was actually the one who was going to get the manager lol! Poor communication skill. What he could have said professionally should be, "Oh you want two of those? Let me add that to your order". Not blaming the customer and kept on grumbling to the manager saying "Yes, she just ordered it now" and handed me the food in a poor manner without even saying thank you. Did he think I wanted free foods by saying that the order was one less food than what I paid for? I even asked if I should turn back and make another order so the customer behind me didn't have to wait long. Good thing he said no, but proceeded to tell me that I made them wait. Oh boy! If you don't have the patience to work in a service industry, please don't.
The .manager ( a big Latin woman ) is very loud when interacting with people , while I'm dining her friend with children came in and she gave them free ice cream 🍦 after they ate their meal, but before they finished a homeless man (old white guy) came in and asked for food and was turned away, I agree with Trump..!
I was given cookies that were hard as a rock. I got a Whopper with no meat and extra onions when I asked for no onions the chicken fries were stale and hard. Burger King has gone down hill which is why I believe they're not very busy at this location.
A. Been here waiting for 15 minutes. The drive thru orders are more important. Did not provide a receipt and claimed that the machine was broken. She didn't even mention it just charged me And turned around to continue with drive thru orders. B. They claim to care about sanitation but this is false and they do not allow customers to use the restroom. It must be too much work. C. Go to Wendy's, the food and service is much better. Glad I did.
Went through the drive thru. As I started to give my order the rude guy taking the order interrupted me at least three times. It seemed he didn't want to take the order. Once at the window to pay I didn't think it was possible for him to more nasty that he already had been. But he out did himself. The food was old tasted as if it had been sitting. I did not even get a receipt for my food. For sure I'm not going back.
Buyer beware. Every time I have ordered from this restaurant they have made a mistake on my order. Normally I can look past that, but today it looks like somebody wiped mayonnaise off of my bun instead of admitting they made a mistake and replacing the burger. It was disgusting. My question is what did they use to wipe the mayonnaise off of the bun? It surely wasn't a knife was it their hand? During this pandemic you should never have to worry about the cleanliness of food ordered from a restaurant. Truly disgusting.
We ordered our food through the app like we always do and went to pick up through the drive thru. This particular store does not have Root Beer available as an option in the app, however they do have it in the store. There is no option to add a note to your order in the app for this location either. I always drink Root Beer with no ice as I am unable to have caffeine. We have ordered from other stores with the option to select no ice. Usually we just pull up to the first window and tell them the app won't let us select Root Beer/no ice for one of the drinks and they switch it out with no issues. On this visit, 01/24/2026, the store was not busy and it was scheduled for pickup at 11:25 am. There were two cars in front of us in line and no cars parked in the lot. They had one drive thru lane blocked off with a garbage can and the first drive thru window was closed. There were two women working. An older woman with short gray hair was at the window and when my husband nicely explained about needing a root beer/no ice for one of the drinks and the app not giving that option, she proceeded to have an attitude and was verbally complaining about the app and why we didn't make it clear before she filled the two drinks. They also hadn't given us time to say anything at the speaker when we gave our order number and requesting the change. This woman proceeded to leave the window open and angrily dumped the cup out and threw it away, then said the root beer was out and she had to go change it. There was also another middle aged or younger blonde woman working, who I think may have been a manager, who was audibly complaining about us and our simple request to swap out one drink. At this point there was one other car behind us and the gray haired woman was taking their order while dealing with us. No other cars/customers in the store. She got the root beer switched out and proceeded to switch out BOTH of the drinks for Root Beer with ice even though we said it was just one and no ice. At this point we were in a hurry to get to an event and just dealt with the still incorrect drinks. Upper management really needs to just address the issue with the app first and foremost, although the customer service was sub par and the attitude of the two employees unnecessary, I can understand their frustration.
Food is consistently bad. Buns for burgers are always rock hard and fries look like they are days old.
The never should’ve put Burger King back here when the first one closed. This food is so incredibly inconsistent and never can get what you came to order. Either out of & then service is so slow. If I wouldn’t have paid for food I would’ve left after waiting 10 min. Staff was friendly but that only goes so far PS. Asked for a bacon double cheeseburger. Got to the window and was handed a burger with no bacon. When I questioned why there was no bacon, they talked to me like I a child and said "number 5s don't come with bacon". Why would I ask for a BACON cheeseburger and be pleased when it didn't come with bacon?? Also took forever to get the food. Practically watched all 3 LotR extended cuts while waiting for the wrong food and a patronizing attitude. They didn't even offer to fix it. Would've happily paid an upcharge for the bacon but due to the very hostile attitude, I won't be back

Never quick I Always sit in the Drive thru for a good 20 minutes for 1 Wopper Jr meal I get home I eat half of my burger and get sick Like a stomach virus bug I'm sitting over a garbage can mouth watering stomach cramping horribly bad then sitting and exploding on my toilet Like it's Only this RESTAURANT!!!!! What is going on there? I came to the conclusion I'm Definitely Done The Owner needs to Over see that staff Something is Wrong there!!!
Was in the drive-through line probably for 15 minutes and there were two cars in front of me that also were sitting there the whole time and no one’s order was being taken. So I went inside to place my order and there was already a gentleman standing at the counter. He spoke up and asked when his order was going to be taken that he’s been standing here for 10 minutes. The woman behind the counter got quite upset with him and proceeded to tell him can’t you see that we’re busy what’s wrong with you that she wasn’t gonna wait on him and he needed to leave. He was not disrespectful in any way shape or form just asked when his order was finally going to be taken after standing there for a long period of time After I seen the way the Employee treated the customer I left and I won’t be back. She was pretty degrading to the poor man
This place sucks. We had gotten food from there about a week ago. They screwed it up. We called about they said next time you come it will be a freebie. It was but they proceeded to once again screw up the exact same order. Unacceptable.
12 minutes to make an original chicken sandwich? Charging full price for promotions and then the Manager blaming the customer for not knowing internal policies? This location is awful, a shame to the entire company. Even better, they don’t give receipts when it’s really bad, so no one can do the stupid surveys/report the order.
worst diarrhea ever. A friend and I both got sick and this was the only thing we ate that day. DoorDash delivery wasn’t even slow so I know the food wasn’t sitting long. Will never eat Burger King again this is unacceptable.
Went and placed an order with a pickup time of 6:26 PM on 6/11/25. Was told to pull in a parking spot waited 40 minutes called and spoke with a woman manger around 7:00 pm letting them know we’ve waited for 40 minutes. She barely let me speak, continuously cut me off, and was rude about me asking for a refund. Spoke with corporate and got a full refund and they brought the food out at 7:11 pm. 50 minutes after it was supposed to be ready. Absolutely will never be back and will make sure that manger is spoken with about being blatantly disrespectful after being patient and waiting well well over the time you should have at a fast food restaurant truly ridiculous if you don’t like your job get a new one.
I ordered an online order for both me and my boyfriend, it came out to about $40. We received the order, and they had bagged someone else’s food, but stuck our receipt to the bag. Rather than our $40 worth of food, we received one $15 meal. I usually assume that there is some sort of delivery driver error when this occurs, but the bag was still completely sealed when it arrived at our home. What we ordered vs what we received is pictured.
I've tried this location, probably five times. Each time has been an increasingly horrific experience. I feel truly bad for the staff there. They are always understaffed. But instead of notifying customers or being even remotely genial, they are outright rude. Refuse service. Lose your orders and refuse to talk to management. Management will scream at you and yell at you. It is even for fast food. Lower than expectation should be. There's a McDonald's, a Taco Bell and a Wendy's right there okay? There's even a hot dog shop right across the street. Do yourself a favor. Go anywhere else, but here. It's a waste of your money. Don't give them your time. You're just going to waste an extra 15 minutes to not get anything. Seriously, don't go.
